Hi! I'm loving this swapping thing & connecting with such nice swappers from around the world. I would call myself:
A Mom(of 3 grown wonderful people);
A sewing junkie of many things (Quilts,dolls, slipcovers, clothes, and whimseys);
A gardener and old house restorer; and
Love vintage goodies.Alot.
The colors of Luray dishes (soft pink, aqua, light blue and yellow) make me happy. The tarnished patina of old silverplate and the patterns in the fabric of old quilts are wonderful too. Old black/white photos catch my eye - especially those with animals, children, or old farmhouses. I collect figures and images of birds; anything to do with crows, squirrels and robins; and "Farmish" landscape pictures.
We have a Border Collie(best dog ever), a beloved Siamese (Misha), and a goofy tuxedo cat named Jeeves (of course!)
I think Feedback is the tune that keeps Swapbot going AND I always breathe a sigh of relief when the postal services bring my packages safely to You --- So please drop me a message when they do! (Or else I might have to bug you about it!) If you ever have questions about where the swap is (or anything else) - talk to me! I'm always ready to make these swaps Work!
Favorite colors: Light colors of pink, blue, aqua, yellow and green. But combos of red/black, blue/brown, pink/brown, and green/blue are great.
Can't get enough of: chocolate - interesting tins of mints - pens + pencils - colored pencils too - journals + pretty papers - ribbons - letterpress
To make profile swaps easier here are things I'm Not So Fond of: Disney, dollarstore things, scented things, candles or incense, makeup, fabric from JoAnns or Walmart, skulls, goth, or neon colors
blues, folk, classical, ---- love Josh Ritter, John Gorka, Patty Griffin, Brazil 66, James Cotton, Perry Como, Ella Fitzgerald, even Keith Urban
anything Bing Crosby/ Bob Hope, The Thin Man series, Abbott and Costello, slso like sci-fi stuff and mysteries.
I like shows on HGTV and Sci/Fi. , Jeff Corwin on Animal Planet,24, Dirty Jobs , Project Runway ,Lost
Quilting(love nice all cotton fabrics All colors ); gardening, painting (murals, furniture, floors, etc); collect vintage ephemera for collage and ATCs ; drawing and watercolor; dollmaking; and really have enjoyed the paper crafting this site encourages me to do!
cherries, squirrels, robins, birds, trees, leaves, japanese cute, japanese maples, 30's floral , sheep ---- not especially in any order of preference here! nothing cartoony :0)

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that there are two new Feltbots swaps, the first two in the Christmas Ornaments series that'll be running every month until Christmas. The first themes are birds and trees. Please take a look and join if you're interested.
Wishing you a wonderful Holiday season, enjoyed getting to meet you on the 'Bot this and love your flickr pics! xoxo
What a Special Birthday to have! Happy Birthday from your partner for Little Summer Bird <3
I got your envie today (swaptag Aug). As I pulled out the tiny heart quilt ... (/giggling & squealing with delight/) ... I ab-so-loot-lee LOVE IT!!! It is so-oo-ooo "me"!! Thanx bunches!
Lucyellen sent me one of the nicest packages I have received so far. Her Flickr photos are also worth a look at. Thanks so much, I'll swap with you again anytime!
Although I PMed you, I wanted to write here as well. I got the most beautiful paper fairies and nice ephemera with them. Loved your package! Thanks a lot!
What a ton of wonderful things you sent! Many owl, horse, and chipmunk items! Thank you for the wonderful ATCs and owl fabric, especially! You're always so wonderful to swap with!
Hi Lucyellen! Just wanted to tell you that Petal is adjusting to our family and our apartment (and our couch) wonderfully! She has become good friends with the other permanent couch-sitter, a knitted robot. So far their relationship appears to be Platonic, but we shall see... Anyway, thank you, again -- she is so, so lovely and we are so happy with her and you are so sweet and incredibly talented!
Hi, Lucinda! I just read that you're a chicken lover. Did I ever tell you Pico went through a period of being terrified of these badly-behaved chickens at the barn? That's how he threw me -- chicken terror! We've worked on the issue but he still keeps an eye on them whenever they're around!
