11-05-2009: I have had 3 swaps and 1 tag not rated in the past month. I contacted them to make sure they got the swaps and they did. I noticed they had not rated other swaps as well. If you do not rate PLEASE let me know so I am not worried that you didn't get my package. I ALWAYS send AND RATE.

I guess I am just a normal (whatever that means) southern gal at heart. I have lived in Indiana my whole life but my family is all from the south. That is where my heart is. I would move to Savannah Georgia in a heartbeat!! I have the 2 most adorable step-sons ever and I love them with all my heart. I work full-time in the business world but would love to make the switch doing something more artistic. I have 1 little puppy...a pug named Poe. I love vintage, eclectic and repurposed things. Not into mainstream anything really. I would love to own an old fashioned feeling bakery someday. Pastry is my weakness.

I can't pick 1 favorite genre of music. I was raised in the 70's so I am all about that but grew up listening to Big Band and Swing with my grandparents. I am really into Jason Mraz right now. My music collection is pretty whacky...I have everything from Aerosmith to Classical. I guess it just depends on my mood and what I am doing. My mom has also given me a HUGE appreciation for old gospel music. Johnny Cash would have to be my #1 favorite artist ever!!

Well...I have to be honest here. I am NOT an avid reader of anything other than magazines. (I like all kinds..pass on old ones if you like. No need to pitch them) I just finished Lord of The Flies and started on Emma but I would rather be busy in the kitchen or the craft room.

I never thought I was a movie person until I met my husband. We watch movies all the time now!! My all time favorites are black and white movies but I also love Seth Rogan and Wil Smith. Cool Hand Luke, Pretty Woman, The Color Purple......I could go on and on....

Ok, my hand is in the air, I admit I am an ADDICT! I love to watch tv while I am crafting. I like to watch all types of things...House, Bones, HGTV, DIY, kids shows. We watch lots of cartoons (my husband likes them more than the kids do!) I can watch most anything really...not into too much reality. (Big Brother, Survivor etc)

ohhhhhhhhhhhh wow! This is a tough one! My dad is an artist at heart and my mom is a professional seamstress. I fall someplace in the middle. I like mixed media crafts the best but also have a passion for felt softies. I don't think there are many things I haven't tried except knitting and glass blowing. I love to get those items but they are just not my cup of tea "to do". I have been making vintage paper ephemera journals lately and I am in LOVE! It is so much fun to find the papers then put them all together. I don't have favorites of any brands of paper or fabrics. I just buy what I like. I make captured fairies, ATC's, Inchies, Altered aprons, small art quilts, needlebooks, paint chip goodies. I don't make jewelry but use beads in my collage work.

10 random favorite things: sugar cookies with royal icing, felt, Giraffes, flowers, color, pattern, vintage...vintage and MORE vintage, leopard print, paper, tall glasses of lemonade with cherries dropped in, 10 Things I would love to get: paper, glue..glue dots, rub on stickers, decks of cards, de-stash....any bits or baubbles, (I know most people don't like it but I do!! It is like getting a grab bag as a kid. I always purchased a grab bag at our 5 and Dime when I was a kid!!) anything felt, I heart handmade cards & anything made with love, small cloth scraps, small metal findings, recipes!! I love dessert recipes,

10 things I would NOT love: anything to do with bats...I am terrified of bats, banana....my least favorite flavor, gore...not into blood and guts, licorice....just don't like black licorice, musky scented things, not into really really country things. I like birds and angels but no dusty rosey ducky things. hmmmmm...well I don't have 10 things. I am pretty laid back. As long as something comes from the heart I will love it! That sounds so lame but I really am a bohemian /mix-it-up/ eclectic type person. I find the things I end up loving the most are not things I start out being "familiar" with. For instance, I had never been into fabrics but I got some as a gift and now I can't get enough scraps for small projects!

I am not a picky eater at all. I like all foods. The only flavor I don't love is banana (gives me heart burn). Italian food, spicy foods, sweets (cookies) are wonderful. I love dip mixes, drink mixes and gum. I am never without gum. I prefer milk chocolate and toffee over other chocolates. I prefer fruit, green veggies and pasta over meat and potatoes. I don't eat much bread (I like it..I just don't eat it often) and vanilla, cherry, orange and lemon are my favorite flavors. I like smarties, gummy candy anything fruit flavored.

I try to send all swaps within 2 days of being assigned. If I join up for a swap and something comes up I will drop rather than be late or to rush through and not do my best. I will always rate and hope you do the same. I hope everyone will feel free to be as creative as they like. Don't try to "suit" me..just send what you like.
