Night Nurse Nancy Loves Jack The Dog (Schipperke) and her Ragdoll Cats - Monty, Mico and her wannabee Ragdoll Mickey.

I enjoy making fun and funky jewelry and some more "serious" jewelry. Postcards/Mail Art are great fun as an expression of my sense of humor and I really like receiving other people's Mail Art.

I strive to mail on time and rate on time. If you have not received your swap from me by the due date, would you please PM me so that I can resend it. I've had issues with the post office from time to time - especially with postcards.

I live in Central Florida on a barrier island which is between the ocean and the river - I love going to the beach and I actually like the hot, humid summers (but air conditioning is my friend).

Favorite colors: anything in the purple range and greens.

I'm particularly fond of anything Asian or tropical.

My favorite scents are sandalwood and patchouli.

I'm a free spirit and very happy-go-lucky. I love pink flamingos - hence my moniker.

I've traveled to many parts of the world and my home reflects my eclectic tastes - funky Florida, Asian, with monkeys and elephants thrown in.

I listen to just about anything.

I read a lot - whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.

Favorite Movies

Whatever appeals to me at any given moment.

Favorite Crafts

Mail art, jewelry making, paper crafts, sewing, and I'm always dabbling in anything that catches my attention.

Thinks I like to do

I go to the dog park almost every day with Jack The Dog. I enjoy cooking for other people. I'm very good at Asian cooking; Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Indian. I like nursing and enjoy going to work!

Comment: Yay! I got the ladies in the windows! I love this one - so ghostly. Hope you are well and dry. I must admit, that Florida in a hurricane sounds like a nightmare to me. Especially a hurricane that won't leave.
Response: I was hoping that you'd like that particular card! The downside of Florida is the hurricane season. I was lucky that only the backyard flooded and it didn't get into the house. But of course, all the bad weather happened on my days off :<

Thanks so much for the lovely Lotus and Chinese Lady PC. That is one strange botanical painting of a lotus. The anti-war postcard is wonderful too. I knew when we jumped into this mess, that Iraq is just another way to spell Vietnam. I say Seattle is no place for a Florida girl. You would start to grow moss....
