My household consists of myself (a college student/single mom), my amazing 7-year-old son, and our two kitties. We live in a small town in Idaho.

I am a quiet person that prefers a book and a bubble bath to a noisy crowd of people. I love animals, but don't like cutesy animal stuff. One of my favorite things to do is to go to yard sales and thrift stores to find unique/quirky, but also useful, items.

My dreamlife would be living in a medium sized old famhouse with my son. We would have a handful of animals, lots of comfy reading nooks, porch swings, and large shade trees. Someday....

-I prefer useful things over cutesy things that I have to dust. My apartment is small and I have been de-cluttering lately...

-I would like anything handmade, handpainted, handsewn

-my favorite scent is LEMON, so candles, body scrubs, fragrance oils, anything like that in a lemon scent will make me smile

-a hand-me-down copy of your favorite book (can always use reading material)

-small wooden art

-my favorite colors: purples, blues, silver, green, burgundy ( prefer darker "jewel" tones over pastels...)

-candles with "food scents" like sugar cookie, coffee, citrus (I really don't care for the cheap vanilla scents, though)

-I have pierced ears, but wear mostly posts (sterling silver cuz other metals make my ears hurt)

-yummy things... good CHOCOLATE!!!, peanutbutter M&M's, chocolate truffles, Gardettos, soft caramels, something unique from your area

-books on tape/CD for the boy (second hand is more than appreciated, so if you find one at the thrift store, a yardsale, or have one to hand down. He listens to them when he goes to bed)

-Coffee (the REAL stuff, not decaff...what's the point?) I would love to try some different flavors

-ART by you -dreams/dreaming, the female body (curves), hands, rain, things with wings that don't normally have wings, elephants, monkeys, water, old circus themes (freaks, trick riders, big tops, etc)

-funky magnets

-funky silverware to make my windchimes with (small forks, weird shaped spoons, tarnished is great!, anything unique...second hand is fabulous!)

I make windchimes with silverware. I also sew a little. I paint rocks. I have done mostly strawberries and penguins, but have done a few others as well.

I am not really into ATC's, matchboxes, or even scrapbooking. Sorry, I just don't really know what to do with them? I in no way want to offend people that do them. I have seen some really beautiful craftwork from you folks...just not my cup of tea.

-stuff that smells like CIGARETTE SMOKE or MOLD or "FLOWERY SCENTED THINGS" THEY GIVE ME A HEADACHE, MAKE MY EYES STING, AND MY NOSE RUN.
