Hello, I live in Scotland. I am very happily married with 2 great but cheeky children,and am a qualified jeweller. I love to make jewellery (silver) and am currently trying to build up my own business, children and husband allowing.

LIKES:

I love anything out of the ordinary - faeries, goblins, vampires, ghosts, fairytale and gothic.. I like the dark side of otherwise mundane or cute things.....I am always looking for inspiration for my Jewellery.
Autumn is my favourite time of year - cool and crisp but not freezing cold!!

My favourite flowers are Nasturchums (spelling!!)Lilies, Orchids and lavender.

My fav colours are Purple, Black, Scarlet and Pink.. I also love the Autumn colours, dull gold, burnt orange, vivid red etc..but there aren't any I don't like.

I love chocolate, red wine (preferably together), black cherries, frogs, jellyfish, butterflies, rainbows, the sea (we live beside it), the smell of rain, thunderstorms, (lightning is VERY sexy), cappuccinos, snowflakes, watching the stars and gazing at the moon...journals - although i'm often reluctent to write in them!!

I don't follow a religion...I was brought up christian but am leaning towards pagan....

I enjoy fantasy books - i'm working my way through Laurell Hamilton and Trudy Canavan just now. would like to try he Sookie Stackhouse novels next.

I like the smell of woodsmoke, Lavender, peach, fresh coffee and bread!

I love walking through crunchy leaves in the Autumn, frosty ones in the winter, and barefoot in wet grass in the summer!

Christmas..the lights, smells, traditions and the total delightful innocence of my children.

Halloween..come on who doesn't..the one chance you get to dress up and go out in public without people pointing and staring!! but seriously..I love the whole feeling that it's a special time, the transition from Autumn to Winter.

Photography: have always loved to take unusual pictures but had no-one to share them with until...SWAP-BOT!! yahoo!!

Emailing and my computer, my family and long hot bubble baths.. (without the family!)

Traveling - I love to visit other countries. I have the book '1000 places to see before you die' i'm working my way through it!! so far i've been to Malta, America, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Lapland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, India, Bahamas, Dubai, Tenerife, Lanzarote,and Majorca.! phew..

There's not much I dislike really..SPIDERS are top of my list, I know all the 'they're more scared of you...' nonscense! If that was really the case then why, oh dear god, why, do they always run towards me!!? PLEASE do not send anything with spiders on! I also don't like Tea, Liver! and Racism, (obviously that comes before the others!) lemon flavours (like the smell though),chewing gum - that's about it.!

I would love to receive anything.....handmade or otherwise. I LOVE getting things in the post, makes me smile to know someone's thinking of me.

Things i'm curious about.....

DAY OF THE DEAD - very interested, would love little things associated with this!

KAWAII - not much experience with it!

Wicca/Pagan practices...would love to know and receive more about this from the people who really know!!

MY FAMILY:

My daughter (12) is a real girlie girl... and a bit of a Diva She likes drawing, faeries, unicorns, mermaids, pink, purple, glitter, fluff, dress up, singing, the works!! She also like the darker side of cute, like skulls with bows on, you know the kind of thing! she loves to get things through the post - just like her mum!! Her fav programmes/tv is basiclly anything on the Disney Channel, and she loves Charmed.

My son (16)is a Rock Star/Actor in the making, loves music, singing, piano and composing his own stuff, also drama, cars of any kind (takes after his dad!) does judo,likes japanese stuff and absolutely anything Elvis or from the 50's, he currently has a quiff!! he likes the colours black and red, skulls, vampires, demons - (loved Darren Shan when he was younger) - reading of all kind. He thinks my parcels and cards are 'COOL'..

My husband has his own business, he likes reading - crime/court thriller type, wine (red) cars and car magazines, films, watching Scotland lose at rugby (we always do!) and playing his XBox. He can not grasp the idea of swap-bot or the idea of spending money on some one I don't know,then more money to post it out to them! He thinks i'm insane, and in need of help, but he smiles, tolerates me, follows me around the shops, and I love him to bits for it!

Moulin Rouge, Armageddon, I always, always cry at the end! I love the old Marilyn Monroe films, thrillers and scarey -makeyoujump-films.:)
