UPDATE 5/7: Power has been fixed and my computer has stopped acting funny. It was on when the power went out and it did something funny to it.

I am a Stay-At-Home mom of two. My daughter is 14 and a freshman in high school and my son is 10 and in 4th grade. I am the co-leader of my daughter's Girl Scout troop. I'm no longer my son's Webelos leader as he bridged to Boy Scouts on March 1st, 2013. We are so proud of him!!!

We have two dogs, a pomeranian named T.Bear and a mini dachshund named Smalls, and a black and grey tiger-striped cat with no tail named Boogie.

My husband and I have been together for 15 years and married for 13. We got married on July 4, 1998. This past July 2, 2011 we renewed our vows at a special ceremony with family and friends.

My favorite music is country. I like Toby Keith, Keith Anderson, Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntyre.

I also like Elton John, Queen, Adele, old 60s and 70s rock. I like a few pop songs; Katy Perry, Lady GaGa... Olly Murs has become a new favorite.

I do not like rap, metal, or even a lot of modern rock/pop.

I am into sci-fi/fantasy books. My favorite authors are Anne McCaffrey, Katherine Kurtz, Tamora Pierce, and Mercedes Lackey.

I also like historical romances. My favorite authors are Jude Devereaux and Catherine Coulter. If it's old west, pirates, old English, etc. I like it.

I am slowly branching out into paranormal romances, but have not read too many of those yet.

I have a Kindle Fire. I would love some recommendations for free books that I can get for it. I love to read and the Kindle makes it so easy to do it anywhere!

My most favorite movies of all time are Dirty Dancing (#1), 10 Things I Hate About You (#2), A Knight's Tale (#3), The Princess Bride (#4), and LadyHawke (#5). I like romantic comedies, comedies, chic flicks; Made of Honor, Maid in Manhattan, The Wedding Planner, The Back Up Plan, Failure to Launch, The Wedding Date, Hope Floats, Two Weeks Notice, etc. I also like some sci-fi/fantasy movies; Labyrinth, Legend, Serenity, Mists of Avalon, Highlanders, etc. I do not like horror or scary movies at all.

I love to watch Bones (love David Boreanez!), Castle (love Nathan Fillion!), Law & Order:SVU, CSI:New York, CSI, Criminal Minds, Wedding Band, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl, Raising Hope, Elementary, Body of Proof, and Glee. Shows that have been cancelled that I liked to watch were Firefly, Farscape, Moonlight, 21 Jumpstreet, Young Riders, seaQuest, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and Angel.

I like to do plastic canvas crafts and scrapbooking. I would love some new, easy plastic canvas patterns. I try to be crafty, but I can't draw really and don't really try. :)

I am fairly new to scrapbooking and I have put together the beginnings of a few books. I am working on a book for my daughter's Girl Scout career (which she's been in for 10 years in June 2012) and one for my son's Cub Scout career. I am going to be working on books for my brothers of when we were young and one for my mother for all 10 of her granchildren.

I am a horder of scrapbook supplies and love all the different papers and embellishments. If I see something I like, I tend to buy it just because, not because I am working on a project at the moment. :)

I am trying to get into cardmaking, too. I have recieved a few kits that have everything you need to make a card and that makes it so much easier for me. I have made a few cards from my own supplies and I think they have turned out rather well. I am trying to improve. :)

I am also slowly branching out into ATCs. They prove quite the challenge for me, but I think I am slightly improving with each one I do.

I have finally purchased a SMASHbook and have started it thanks to the Glimpse Into My Life... swap series. That swap series gave me the kick in the pants I needed to start working on the book.

I collect bears, angels, dragons, Eeyore, My Little Pony, Santas (thanks to my grandmother to whom I was very close) and penguins.

I like silver jewelry (rings size 10, bracelets, earrings (for sensitive ears)), earrings that are cute (holiday, Eeyore, penguins, cutesy things, etc.)

My favorite holidays are Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Halloween. I love to decorate for the holidays and put up decorations on the first of the month and leave it up for the whole month.

I love chocolate. Especially the combos of chocolate/orange, chocolate/raspberry, and chocolate/mint. Dark chocolate is the best thing ever! One of my favorites is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (regular or dark). I also love the flavor watermelon, M&Ms (not pretzel or almond), Peanut Butter Twix, mint Three Musketeers, Sixlets, Red Vines, Whoppers... I could go on for days. :)

I love to drink hot chocolate. I don't drink coffee (but I love the smell of it) or tea at all. I love cheescake, just about any kind.

My favorite colors are blues, purples, darker shades of green. I don't really like red, orange, yellow. I really don't like pink much at all.

My husband's name is Loren and we will have been married for 15 years on July 4, 2013. July 2nd 2012 will be the first anniversary of our vow renewal. My husband enjoys fishing, tinkering on things, putting together models (vintage cars and trucks) woodworking, and watching the University of Oregon Ducks play football. He collects Oregon Ducks memoribilia and is into Legos/Krios (especially Star Wars and Transformers). He likes caramel, cashews, strawberry Charleston Chews, Rocky Roads. He's looking for gold 1/3 ounce Little Cleo fishing lures. Only one store here seems to carry them and they are usually out of them.

My daughter's name is Ashley and she's 15. She is very independant in her dress and usually likes bright colors (neons especially). She loves old rock 'n roll thanks to her dad and likes to collect band memoribilia. She also collects records. She's really into the Zelda video games right now. She has a list of ones that she would still like to get. If you are willing to wish her one, please send me a message for her list. She also loves duct tape! The more wild the colors and pattern the more she likes it and, of course, neon is always a big hit with her. She says she would like to make her prom dress out of duct tape. :) She likes funky jewelry, nail polish, Harajuko brand items, anything Zelda related, Marilyn Monroe items, anything Dr. Who (especially the 10th and 11th Doctors and River Song), anything that would set her apart from her peers.

My son's name is Kyle and he is 10. He's all boy! He loves Legos, Star Wars, Hot Wheel/Matchbox cars, Wii and DS video games, getting his own mail, and to read (especially the Fear Street, Goosebumps, Animorphs, and Magic Treehouse series). He very much enjoys Boy Scouts and playing his violin at school. He loves Phineas and Ferb stuff, animal figurines, cups with TV/movie characters on them. He likes stickers, especially Phineas & Ferb/Perry, Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, the Avengers, Star Wars, Angry Birds.
