I am a military wife living in Del Rio, TX (right on the Mexican border!). I have a seven year old son, an air traffic controller husband, two kitties (who hate each other!), and a German Shepherd named Heidi. It's very hot here and there is very little rain! I miss rain! It's one of my favorite smells ever! There isn't much to do here, small town...we have a Walmart and its a small one. No fabric department and small craft department. San Antonio is our nearest town with stores and it's 3 hours away! So, I am looking forward to swapping, definitely!

I have been creative all of my life, but have only recently started using the internet to meet other artists. I am excited about swapping as I've never done it before and feel like its a great opportunity to experience other people's art. I enjoy quilting, sewing, painting, jewelry making, art quilts and altered art. I really love the feminine form and use it a lot! I love girly, glittery, pink, sparkly, colorful and busy anything!

I love music! I grew up listening to country and southern rock. Now, I listen to just about anything! I love (right now!) Zac Brown Band, Gloriana, Lady Gaga...don't really care for jazz, blues, opera, old country, or old gospel. I love contemporary Christian music, however! Nothing with ugly lyrics, like some of the rap has in it...I do have a little one that listens too!

Books are another passion! I love to read just about anything depending on my mood. I like Jodi Picoult, Diana Gabaldon, Phillipa Gregory, Sophie Kinsella and Charlaine Harris, just to name a few! I love historical fiction and anything about art techniques!

Love the movies! Sweet Home Alabama, PS I Love You, Because I Said So...anything funny, some scary...I'm a lot more of a scaredy cat than I used to be!

Sewing art quilts, painting, collage, drawing, scrapbooking (trying to teach myself digital scrapbooking!) photography, jewelry making...especially wire wrapping beads and making beads from wire!

Just a few other faves...my favorite color is pink...color combo is pink, black, white...i love vanilla lattes...paisley...glitter and sparkle...dresses...dress forms...shoes...shopping...the smell of rain ( i sure miss the rain here in del rio!)...my sweet boy Caden who is 7...anything military or Air Force related...Smarties...Sweet Tarts...Starbucks...purses and handbags, the bigger the better I always say! Anything I can use in my art...markers, pens, paper, scraps, fabric, pretty stickers, rub ons, beads, buttons, the sky is the limit! Also, anything with Transformers, Legos, Goosebumps...my kid loves them!

I'm not extremely picky about anything! I don't really like teacher or reward stickers...tea...most candy...

I will never flake. I always send out my swaps and I always send them out before the deadline! If you haven't received something from me, whether its from a swap or a TAG, please PM me. Our PO isn't the greatest down here! One time, I put the wrong house number and it came back to me! But, PLEASE let me know so I can make it right!
