Hello Party People I'm definitely in a blue period right now, and it's a struggle to get my act together and get things sent out. I go through this sometimes, feeling down and depressed. I can barely leave my bed, so it's hard to find the creativity. But I'm trying very hard to put together all the packages I owe, and trying very hard to make them all as special as I know I can make them and as I know each partner deserves. I'll be sending and finishing things up this week.
Explaining the ones: Howdy. Just wanted to explain the one ratings - they are from back in 2007. I went through a traumatic time with my family and lost someone who was very important to me. I went away from the internet for a while. Now I'm back trying to heal myself and right things. I'm hoping those 1s will change very soon.

Hi! I'm a 24 year old artist and musician [drummer] currently living in Orlando, Fl. I work in many mediums, my favorites being digital media (I ♥ my computer), drawing, and crocheting. More things about me:
✉ I absolutely love mail!! There's nothing better than walking to the mailbox and loading up with postcards and letters, or in my case, being unable to open your front door because the mail is in the way and acting like a door stopper :)
♥ I'm interested in making new penpals and adding artwork to the walls in my studio.
♥ I am a Creative Writing student, working as a temp and a substitute until I go back to graduate school next fall [for English Lit].
♥ I'm a total girly man - a girl who loves to pamper herself, bake cupcakes, but also play video games and read comic books. TONS of favorite video games and comic books.
♥ I'm sarcastic, and bubbly, pessimistic, and curious.
♥I have tons of collections and love organized clutter.
♥ I come from a long line of thrifters and swap meeters (that's a word, right?). My parents would take us along when we were kids, and in middle school I started spending all my money in thrift stores.
♥ Swapping is serious business to me. I take lots of care creating each item and then packaging everything. I read my partner's profile carefully and try to figure out what they would like to receive. Sometimes it's late, because I have a busy, hectic life {plus I'm slightly nutty}, but you will ALWAYS get something from me. If you haven't, PM me, 'cause it may be lost, and I will gladly mail out a new package. I would love it if every time one of my partner's opened their package they went squeee. If you didn't, let me know. We can fix things. But if your profile is three lines long, I can't help it if the package doesn't reflect you very well {I can only get to know you through what you write in your profile, or what sites you link to}♥
♥ I love swapbot because I love handmade things that come from a person's heart. When I receive items that look as if the maker spent time on it, an item that seems tailor made for me {which shows that they looked at my profile}, or an item that makes me squee that person gets a heart. When I get a package that seems like it's been thrown together, that person just gets the appropriate rating, no heart. I give hearts where hearts are due, not because the person is overwhelming me with items. Extras don't guarantee hearts if no heart was put into the package. Reciprocally, I don't add extras to a package to receive hearts, I add them because I think my partner will enjoy them. If it garners a heart, awesome. If not, that's cool too. My only aim is to follow the swap guidelines and get out a package filled with the things my partner signed up for. ♥

My favorite colors are turquoise and mint green. In general I love bright colors! Bright beautiful blues, crisp reds, popping oranges, sour apple greens, etc..
I'm also a fan of vintage color sets.
I love all color though, if the pattern is something beautiful, and if the colors meld together well. For an idea of the colors I like, visit my flickr, as I tend to pick out colors/patterns that I also like when I'm making things for my partners. What I mean is, I go with my partner's favorite color, but pick shades and patterns that I think are beautiful.
I'm not too hot on really dark, deep colors though. Think light and airy or bright {but not neon}.
Also, I'm a giant fan of silver. LOVE IT. Very rarely do I like anything gold.

♥ Whales ♥ Stars ♥ Cupcakes ♥ Polka dots ♥ Owls!!! ♥ Pink Elephants ♥ Mushrooms ♥ Gnomes and elves ♥ Totoro ♥ Robots ♥ Lightning bolt ♥ Pandas ♥ Cutsie Skulls ♥

♥ Really subdued colors ♥ Tea (I'd rather have hot chocolate) ♥ patterns that have a "country" or "quaint" print on them, or Americana ♥ Kiddie cartoon stuff - no Spongebob, or Winnie, or whatnot (I love the Disney Princesses though) ♥ Anything with animals like dogs or cats on them, or animals you hunt--unless it's vintage deer or wienner dog stuff ♥ Religiously themed anything ♥ Fruity smelly things or incense ♥ Things that smell like smoke ♥ I love animals and you love your pets, but plz no pet hair all over the crafts ♥ Unless I sign up for a swap that calls for it, please do not send me any lotions, perfumes, bath products, make up, lip balms, or anything of the sort. I already have tons of stuff, and am very picky to boot.
I really like indie music, classic rock and especially 90s alternative music. I also listen to some rap [mostly from the 90s], classical, jazz and blues, and music from broadway. My favorite bands right now, in no order, are: The Beatles, The White Stripes, Nine Inch Nails, Modest Mouse, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
So many - short list includes: Office Space, The Princess Bride, Garden State, Sex Lies and Videotape, Amélie, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Saved!, Secretary, Election, Best in Show, The Big Lebowski, Ghost World, Juno, Lars and the Real Girl, Wristcutters, and Slumdog Millionaire.
My favorite right now is "30 Rock." I'm also a giant fan of "Grey's Anatomy" [although this season is making me cry a little]. Also: The Office [both American and British], Dr. Who [the 9th and 10th doctors, I'm just starting to go back and watch the old episodes], and ... again, a ton more. Writing is my true love, and I enjoy it in any form.
The "children's classics that I grew to love more as my understanding of them developed" favorites are "Alice Adventures in Wonderland" and "The Wizard of Oz." The regular childrens books favorites are ""Where the Wild Things Are" and "Where the Sidewalk Ends." My favorite fantasy series is Lord of the Rings. Other good books include the Harry Potter series, Gregory Maguire books [such as "Wicked"], anything by Jane Austen, "Wuthering Heights," "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter," and ... o gosh, so many favorites ...

I recycle packaging. The outside is going to look funky, I might wrap your "presents" in funky gift wrap, but everything inside is going to be exciting and awesome. I'd appreciate it if you did the same for me (as would Mother Earth), but understand if you can't. If you absolutely cannot stand funky old used materials as your envelope/wrapping paper, let me know.
