painting, writing, collages, i like making my own books from pretty pictures in magazines and thrifted books, making clothes for my blythe doll (although i have been too busy to finish any of them!).

mad men, 30 rock, the mighty boosh, the office, greek, gossip girl, the daily show, anthony bourdain, futurama, yo gabba gabba, nevermind the buzzcocks, beautiful people.

kerouac, joyce, coupland, cometbus, hemingway, and anthony bourdain. i also like poetry from neruda, rilke, garcia-lorca, and byron.

as for magazines, i'll read anything i can get my hands on. im a big fan of english magazines like elle, glamour, more & grazia (and yet i consider myself too classy for heat), nme, lula, and so on. i also like juxtapoz, nylon, missbehave, yen, architectural digest, elle decor, and various japanese fashion mags.

CATS! i mean i really really LOVE cats. unfortunately im doomed to never own one because everyone around me is allergic :[ anything with a cute kitty on it will be treasured forever.

ART! i plead temporary insanity for postcards with art on them. my favourite artists are frida kahlo, tom thomson, rothko, shag, mike giant, turner, hiroshige, and kush. im a really visual person, i end up buying tons of magazines just to cut them up.

MUSIC! i love old concert flyers and 1" buttons, and mix cds or tapes of whatever you like!

TRAVEL! its something i wish i could do more of. i have loads of family in england and try to see them once a year. someday im hoping to quell my unholy obsession with iceland and see it for myself, but also high on my list of places to go are japan, new zealand, prague, and mexico city. id go everywhere in between if i could.

CHOCOLATE! im really into chocolate trades, i like most chocolate but have a particular affinity for milk chocolate with fruity flavours (redonk, i know).. anything with coconut, peanut butter, or marzipan will also be hastily consumed. my favourite is green and blacks milk chocolate! i also like salt water taffy, skittles, jelly belly, cola bottles and cubes, and swedish berries/fish.

private swapping is something id like to do more of, especially if we have similar tastes! dont be a stranger, send me a note if you'd be interested.

i hate getting into this stuff because i will probably appreciate anything you send, so i'll keep this short. you guys know whats lame or cheesy. i try to send people thoughtful things even though sometimes we may not have the same interests. anything to do with clowns, horses, disney, atcs, dotee dolls, overwhelming aromas, or really girly pink things could probably find a better home than mine.
