Comment: I totally agree with you on everything you said!! I dislike Kandy ! She thinks that being loud is funny, when its not. the judges keep her there for the drama for extra views. its all just one big rigged competition at this point!
Comment: Thank you so much! Sorry for the delay in rating! :)
Response: Thank you! No problem ;) Thanks for the reply too - I totally forgot about the orange vs yellow thing LOL! I'm not exactly colorblind, but I have a hard time telling certain colors apart unless they are right next to each other, so I didn't notice until Michelle said something either.
Comment: I love the ornaments you made!! The spiral shell is really cool! I love the bright colors! I didn't expect you to sent so many. They are a great addition to my tree! Do you think you could message me a link to the patterns you used? I'd love to make some for my parents.
Response: Yay!! I'm glad you like them! I couldn't decide which to make so I just made them all, haha. They work up super quick. I'll send you the pattern :)
Comment: I didn't realize some people could be better than others at picking Mad Libs insertions, but you definitely seem to have an unusual gifting for this! Your answers are very creative and quite funny. Well done!
Response: Aww, thank you!! I definitely drank too much coffee yesterday, which might have been the source of my inspiration LOL!!! Arrrrrrr avast ye poop decks!
Comment: Alex I laughed out loud at my “surprise” it’s perfect and laughable. Thank you for the laugh. The postman laughed too. Take care plus 2020 has been such a s*#% year that we found this quite appropriate. Thanks
Response: YAY! I'm glad you found it as hilarious as I did! :D
Comment: I love your little flipbook! That tiny envelope is really cute, and the cover is really nice - is the flower from a napkin? You did a fantastic job on your first tiny flipbook :) And, it it scented, or am I crazy?!?
Response: I'm so happy you like it!! The flower is from a napkin :) I don't think anything on it was scented, but the paper I used for the main part of the book did have a nice paper smell to it LOL!
Thank you!!! <3
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card! I was supposed to see the bridge in person this year but ... Pandemic. I'm not a fan of Stephen King's movies either, but they're better then the books! :,-) I hope you're doing well and staying safe!
Response: Awww, sorry you had to cancel your trip :( I hope you get to go when it's safe! Thanks for the heart :)
Comment: I love, love, love! the Zines that you sent. Jiminy Cricket! You have sublime talent! Take care of yourself up there in Oregon. Big hugs, Aurora
PS I apologize for calling you girl. Not cool on my part. I hope you have a good holiday weekend. Aurora
Response: I'm not a girl, but thank you so much for the glowing review :D I'm glad you like all my zines!!! Hope you're having a good weekend! <3
Comment: Thank you so much for your card! Thanks for the suggestions of groups to checkout. I'll defs have to try and check them out. Your story of ghosts almost burning your house down is so spooky! I would've moved so fast.
Response: If I hadn't gotten them to leave, I totally would have moved, it was terrifying! Thanks for the heart <3
Comment: I love the ATC you sent! We were supposed to have been on a cruise to Japan in April this year, but obviously that didn't happen. I hope we'll have another opportunity!
Response: Thank you! Ugh, sorry you didn't get to go :( We were supposed to be going sometime in the spring, but we hadn't booked yet and are just waiting it out for now. I hope you get to go, it's so much fun!!! I also definitely recommend at least an extra week in Tokyo!! (Feel free to ask me for tips on where to go :) )
Comment: Thank you for the card! I understand what you mean about having a hard time focusing on books. I thought staying at home would give me loads of time to read, but I've actually read very little. Too hard to concentrate - too many things to worry about. I'll check out the books you mention, thanks for the recommendations. Take care.
Response: Yeah, the anxiety is real <3 Thanks for the heart! Let me know if you check those out and like them, they have plenty more recs ;)
Comment: Thank you for the postcard :) glad you and your partner are trying some new places. My boyfriend and I have been eating most of our meals at home but we did try a good food cart not too long ago over on MLK. I forgot the name otherwise I would totally suggest it lol. Take care :)
Response: LOL, glad you got out for something yummy :D thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you Neon for the Greetings from Florida of birds PC. That's great, you crochet too! I love Ami's ! When I make them, I usually do ones, that crochet into all in piece. So much easier, than the ones you have out together.
Response: Glad you liked it - thanks for the heart! :) Ah, I hardly ever see patterns like that - they're always a million pieces...legs, tails, ears...too much! LOL! I did make a cute baby cthulu one once though that was only two pieces and really fun! :D
Comment: Thank you for the PC. Yes, I do like Tim Holtz' style and his products. I have been using his stuff for many years. I have met him on a few different occassions over the years at weekend craft fests, etc. He is a very interesting person. Have a great day and happy swapping!
Response: That's so cool that you've met him!! Thanks for the heart :D
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful goodies you sent! My favorites are the sticker flakes and Hello Kitty has always been my favorite! I LOVE it all and will enjoy using for both happy mail and my personal journals. Just received in the mail a bit ago today when hubby and I walked to the mailbox. This cute envie took the scenic route' gaahh! Lol Thanks again for your thoughtful swap and welcome back to swap-bot! 😊
Response: Ah, I wondered what happened! You never know with the post office these days. Glad you enjoyed everything! :)
Comment: Thankyou so so much for the ATC's you made me <3 I can tell how much time you spent on the one in the sleeve, it looks so good!!! I am also a fan of emo music haha Anyway, I hope that you are well :) Thankyou again, I love it <3
Response: Yayyy!! I'm so happy you like it! :D Thank you!!
Comment: Thank you...I saw the Lisa Frank peace sign on the front of the envelope and got excited, and equally as happy when I saw the stickers inside in the same theme! Thanks for the scrappy goodies too...awesome swap thank you again!
Response: Yay!!!! I'm glad you liked them! Thanks for the heart :)
Comment: Thank you so much! We are having tacos tonight! LOL. seeing friends always brighten my day but I'm an introvert so maybe once every month is good ro get together with them lol. Tale Care always!!
Response: Yummmm tacos!!! <3 Thanks for the heart and you take care too!
Comment: I have to drive 2 hours to get some awesome Japanese stationery! Lol, I'm jealous you've been to Tokyo, oh I bet I'll need to bring 2 empty suitcases haha!
Response: Yeah I literally bought a luggage scale so I could make sure I wasn't over the limit (but trust me, I was less than a pound away, haha). I hope you get to go to Tokyo someday! Thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: Thanks for the postcard and for checking out my website! When I first got into tabletop gaming, I had a hard time with some of the people, but I've since found my crowd and aim to make gaming more inclusive for anyone I encounter.
Response: Thanks for the heart! <3 I'm glad you exist and are doing good things for gaming.
Comment: I absolutely love everything you sent! Thank you so much for paying attn to my favorites. The sticker flakes and large memo sheets were awesome and I also liked your address label too. Thank you for joining my swap!
Comment: Would you believe?! I was in Atlanta in summer of 2000 too! Teenage me wanted to go to this mall and see the Coca Cola experience but the people we were staying with were party poopers and we didn't get to go! I've now experienced it through you!
Response: Wow!! Sorry your people were no fun :( Glad I got to give you a vicarious tour of the place though :) There's still one in Atlanta and I believe also Las Vegas and maybe Orlando, so hopefully someday you can still see it for yourself :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter and extras. Just a heads up, the USPS charges more when the letter is taller than it is wide, if that makes sense. I went through this in the past with a swapper. I am not asking for you to pay lol just giving you a heads up. Just add 15c to cover it next time ♥
Response: Oh my gosh, sorry about that!! I didn't know, I even weigh everything before it goes out. Thanks for letting me know. Glad you liked the letter and thanks for the heart anyway ❤️
Comment: Just got your package in the mail and I have to say, you are absolutely adorable. I'm wearing the bracelet right now and can't wait to show it off at Pride. I would love to be penpals with you. :)
Response: YAY!! :D You sound super awesome and I would love to be pen pals. I'm glad you like the bracelet!
Comment: Thanks for your comment on my profile! :) Why didn't you like Texas? Unfortunately I'm not planning to go to Austin :( Which are those states where you haven't been?
If you like to share those tips about that diet, I'm waiting for it! ;)
Response: Well, I'm a pretty obviously queer man, so the homophobia I encountered in Texas was very unwelcome (that was mostly in South Padre Island). Dallas and Houston were basically just big, unremarkable cities to me, but some folks love it. Austin and San Antonio seemed to be the only cities with much character. The states I haven't been to are North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Someday!!
Comment: thanks so much for such an interesting & detailed reading! i will definitely keep your words in mind as i move through this month. thanks for a great swap, i really enjoyed doing it for my partner too! :)
Comment: Love your literary tattoo :D Thanks for the super detailed email, it's so interesting to read about people's ink :) Let me know if/when you get any of the others! I have a friend with a vegan tattoo-- it's a broccoli leaf with eyes and the word VEGAN in fancy lettering. I'll try to find a pic of it for you!
Response: AMAZING! I love veggie tattoos :D Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you SO much! I loved everything! The slam was awesome, and the postcards were great. Thank you for the card with the gorgeous gals on it- I need to go to a drag show- it's been too long! I loved swapping with you!!!
Response: Yay! Thanks :D Glad you liked the postcards (and the lovely ladies ;) )
Comment: I really really enjoyed reading this. I think the anecdote about animal rights activists not being aware of revolution outside their tour really exemplifies the way progressives let themselves be divided and conquered. I felt like responding to a bunch of other things too, but want to keep this rating brief-- thanks for writing! It helps me to know what others go through in their journeys.
Response: Thank you!! You can reply to my email if you want to talk about any of it more :)
Comment: Not much of a panic! at the disco fan but I do have to admit Dallon is a cutie! The Dear Stripper Menace story was awesome, and your right I do like yaoi so it was enjoyable for me. >.<
You seem really obsessed with him, don't worry I'm not going to judge cause I to have an obsessive personality. only I'm obsessed with Korean singers. lol I don't know if you have ever heard any Korean/Japanese music but I'm in the same boat, he is like my whole world.
Anyways thanks I enjoyed your email.
Response: LOL! I'm not as obsessed as the letter makes me sound, I swear!! I do like some Visual Kei bands and other Japanese music, don't know much Korean. Have a total crush on Gackt.
Comment: Thank you for the links! The sloths are really cute!
Response: If you have Animal Planet, you should watch the whole show (or maybe it's online somewhere). That was a preview for an hour-long documentary. It was so adorable, I thought my heart would burst, ha ha.
Comment: I'm so sorry for the late rating, I got your package a while ago but things have been superbusy in my life! I absolutey LOVE everything that you sent me, the cupcake plush is supercute, the rings are great and thanks so much for the yummy candy and the cute re-ment charm! Everything was so special and personal, thanks so much for that! <3
Comment: Thank you for the letter! It was sent late, but I'm still giving you a heart because it was obvious that it was written from the heart! <3 I totally agree that money isn't as important as making the world a better place... Which is why I'm going back to school to eventually work with kids and teenagers! :) Anyway, I don't want to write a novel here, but thank you for the swap and also for the compliments about my stationery! xox
Comment: Sorry for such a late rating the mail here in Hawaii is terrible!
I'm so happy that my Purple Menace is the first in my Hawaii Plush collection! Her devilish eyes give me the creeps... She's plotting my gayness. Hahaha
Thanks for the PC too. Best one I've received in awhile. =)
Response: Ack! Hi! I didn't realize I didn't reply to this. Glad you liked it!!! :D She is so plotting your gayness...bwahahahahaha!!!!!!
Comment: I love the Moses card! I haven't been to Israel yet, but definitely someday. I came into Judaism as a young adult so missed the whole Birthdright trip thing, but maybe my kids will get to go. Yasher koach on your trip, and thanks for the note!
Response: Thanks! Definitely encourage your kids to go!!! If you or they have any questions, drop me a message. I love talking about israel :)
Comment: Thanks for the cute card. I've actually been having a bad couple weeks, and this swap DID help. :) Glad you're getting your allergies sorted out. What did you end up doing for T-Day? I made a vegan feast and spent the day hanging out with 2 large dogs and watching tv. :)
Response: Awww yay! I'm so glad it made you smile :D
I went to the coast with a friend of mine...quite an adventure. I wrote about it on my blog (http://alexalgebra.tumblr.com) and there are pics in my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexalgebra). <3
Comment: I really don't know what to write here because it'd be so NSFW :-D People are often criticized for writing LOL when they're not actually laughing out loud but here I really mean it: LOL! Thanks for the tag stuff too, I think I can find some use for them. And hey, I'll write you a letter back... :-)
Response: Lol back at ya! For reals. Glad you can find a use for that stuff! Looking forward to your letter :) thanks!
Comment: Hey there! Thanks a bunch for the spam, there is some serious fanboying here XD (and I can see the reason why! Don't know the band though, what are the like?).
I think I'm going to make a blog post with the pictures if you don't mind and I'll message you the link!
Response: Yeah, blog post works for me! Their style is hard to explain. Anthony sings like a girl, which adds to his awesome, and it's kind of heavy but not exactly, and the guitarists obviously listened to too much pink floyd or something, idk. You just have to hear them.
Comment: Thanks Alex! Morgellons is really interesting, I typed it into Wikipedia (where else?!) after I got your postcard and got distracted by the 'Role of the Internet' sub-topic: "An article in the journal Psychosomatics in 2009 similarly asserts that Morgellons is an Internet meme." Wowee!
Response: Yeah it's pretty interesting! If you do a google images search, some interesting stuff comes up.
Comment: I loved, loved, loved, loved my DOODLE U Card Alex. It was. Awesome, the best, a hit, completely outrageous, thank u oh so very much. You did a rockin job with the doodle U, thanks again. Robin
Comment: Thanx a bunch for the links. I know my daughter will love making the Toast keychain and even though I'm not familiar with the game Kingdom Hearts...I love the evil looking bunny.
Now I gotta get sewing!
Response: Ooooh if you have any of the systems that have Kingdom Hearts games (PS2, PS3, PSP, DS, or GBA), you should get one!! It's so good!! :D
Comment: Thanks for the great letter about Portland! I've been once and it seems a lot like it is here in Seattle. I want to get back down there and spend more time exploring the city. Thanks so much for a great letter <3
Response: Thanks for the heart! Let me know if you're ever down here :) It's pretty rad and there are a handful of us botters here!
Comment: Absolutely lovely, and lots of ideas I can use. The PB&J cookies look great too. Those may need a trial run before NaNo....
Response: LOL! They're soooooo good! :D I recommend making them with Crofter's grape jam and Skippy all natural super crunchy peanut butter. They both have sugar added so they're definitely for a sweet tooth but mmmmm i ate a whole batch in less than 24 hours :x
Comment: People in Portland don't understand 'vegan'?? Whatwhat? I've heard that place is vegan paradise! :) Been meaning to visit, but haven't made it up there yet. As for turning down things, I use Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's line: "I don't eat animals or their secretions." Maybe a little over the top, but it's clear, and useful in some circumstances.
Response: Naw, Portland is pretty good about being vegan as far as restaurants go. It's just when people bring things into work that it's hard to explain. Thanks for the helpful hint, LOL!
Comment: You gave me the finger!! waaaaaa.... I am telling!!! hahahahahaha.... I just put it on my co-workers desk under his papers, lets see what happens when he comes in tomorrow. bwahaha....Thank you so much for the goodies. The robot is totally cute. You did a great job with the ATC. You did way better then me. No matter how hard I try to draw creepy or more serious work everything ends up looking like it belongs on the cartoon network or in a silly comic book. :-(
Comment: Awww your story is so cute! So much good luck being vegan. Sometimes I tell people that I'm allergic to eggs or dairy or whatever animal product I suspect is in the food being offered if I think they won't get what vegan is. Which is technically true for me and dairy, lol
Response: Yeah, I've definitely had to do that before. Thanks!!! <3
Comment: Thank you very much for the inchies. I like that they are on old film. I haven't figured out how to display them so that you can still see that they are on film but I'm working on it. Great swapper.
Response: Oh yeah, I didn't think of that! But thanks for the heart! Let me know what you figure out. Maybe put them in something see through that would hang in front of a light. Might make some cool shadows too!
Comment: Loved your retake on the fairy tales. They're like stealth versions. :) LOL at: "Queen Creeper Vision" & how Rapunzel talks in "text" & the Tower's a Rockin' & Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (wouldn't it stretch like a bungee cord?). Too funny.
Response: Hey, it's a fairy tale. A gingerbread house wouldn't hold up in weather either but that didn't stop the witch, right? LOL! ;) Thank you!!!
Comment: Ignorance is bliss when drama llamas are afoot. ~_^ Like your use of recycled materials, & I know it's tough to paint these up outdoors in your area due to the rainfall. Great swap, thanks for hosting.
Response: Thanks! :D I made a little spray hutch that can go under our little sidewalk roof so I can now paint day/night in any weather!! BWAHAHAHAHA!!! *ahem...* thanks for the heart... :)
Comment: Your tib/fib tattoo is so cool! And as for your other one, I'm glad you finally got it because it obviously makes you happy! You shouldn't care what other people think about it! You got it for you :) No sense in delaying happiness!
Response: Thanks!!! Yes my potato makes me ridiculously happy :D
Comment: Wow, that letter really had my blood boiling. That is a really shitty situation and I can't believe those two "cunty bitches" (love it!) didn't get in some kind of trouble for being terrible people. Thanks for the letter..I really felt your anger and frustration in it. I hope a better job comes your way :)
Response: Thank you so much!! Glad I didn't offend you with my nicknames ;) LOL! I've got a better job now, thank goodness!
Comment: Hello Alex,
Thank you so much for the puzzles you sent me for this swap. I have not worked them yet, but look forward to working them and seeing how well I can do. I enjoy doing all kinds of puzzles, trying them at least once before I say I don't like them. However, I love crosswords and word finds and so I will have fun with your puzzles. Hope we meet up for other swaps in the future. Until we meet again, Happy Swapping!!!
Comment: Thanks for the pics and info about ur room. I think pics can explain someone so much better than filling out a profile can.. glad to know that I'm not the only one with a slightly messy habitat! :}
Response: slightly messy? hahaha my room is like a disaster area right now ;) thanks for heart!
Comment: What an interesting postcard with a cool design. I was just looking at the "Think Before You Speak" website which talks about the pain using phrases like "that's so gay" can cause. On Facebook, I sometimes get an add for t-shirts supporting gay marriage - the shirts say "Marriage is so gay." I totally agree with the thought, but can't decide if it is a good or bad thing to appropriate the "X is so gay" phrase for the cause.
Response: Yeah, GLSEN (the "Think Before You Speak" people) is a pretty rad org. I just go where kids want to be instead of where they have to be ;) (They only do work in schools.) I'm also on the fence with that, but I think it's kind of good to "take back" the phrase. Anyway, thanks for the comment and the heart! :D
Comment: Alex: (I mean Lady G!) your postcard is fabulous as the diva herself (she lost a hat or two during the mailing, but that little full photo view of her on the address side was such a cute idea to put there!
Response: Thanks! And thanks for the heart. Sorry, I'm still a little new to sending homemade PCs. Apparently i need stronger glue, LOL. :)
Comment: I think we were separated at birth ... although I suspect it would have been a long gestation since I bet I'm at least 30 years older than you. Anyway ... love your note and will respond in more handwritten detail shortly.
Response: Aw, yay! Thank you so much <3 I'm slightly older than I act, ha ha.
Comment: Wow! This was more than I could have wished for. You were dead on in understanding the basis of the swap. I was so impressed that it now has a place in my Curiosity Cabinet in the living room. Thanks so much!
Response: :DDDD <--my face right now! I'm so glad you like it! I was so nervous!!! We should do a flickr gallery or something cause I wanna see all the others! The one I got is so amazing I have it hanging on my bedroom wall!! Thank you!!!!!!
Comment: Hey! Great card! Loved the charm. I don't speak Spanish but I lived in New Mexico during my childhood. If you are ever in Santa Fe check out the Folk Art museum. I read you like nongrams. You might want to check out a web site called Conceptis.
Response: Thanks for the kind rating :) And for the site rec. I haven't been to that site in awhile - man, they've got a ton of new stuff! Thanks! My favorite is griddlers.net :)
Comment: Great ATC. Every other Sat I go to an outdoor fruitstand to buy fruit and vegs. One seller comes to Bak. from Sants Maria, Ca. with strawberries. I took your ATC to show the owner the words. She was impressing and copies the words.
Response: Aww, yay! :) That's such a great story; thanks for sharing the ichigo love ;)
Comment: I dig the double sided card, extra awesome points for recycling! Thanks for the cool extras, and the neat doodles on the envelope rule! My first received ATC is a keeper for sure, Thank you very much!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Glad you enjoyed everything :) You seem kinda awesome so it was hard to resist throwing in a ton of extras, ha ha.
Comment: The ATC you sent me actually brought tears to my eyes. The history you gave me really touched me and made it more than just an ATC. Sending it in the card you did really enhanced its impact. Thank you so much for something so special. PS--I love the postcard you included! The messages on old cards fascinate me, and I love the typefaces the printers used. Very thoughtful!
Response: Thanks for writing such a sincere comment! I'm glad you took the time to read everything. His story had a great impact on me when I first heard it, too :) Someone wrote a biography about him that I really want to read. Here's the Amazon link if you're interested: http://www.amazon.com/Wisecracker-William-Haines-Hollywoods-Openly/dp/0140275681. :)
Comment: I got your package today and I want to say Thank you so much! I so so so love the journal!! Your answers were very entertaining! I like Harvey Danger, too :) Not a super fan or anything but they made junior high and high school memories ;D.
Thank you again!
Response: Awesome!! Glad you like it :) Thanks for the heart and you should definitely listen to King James Version if you haven't heard it...ha ha.
Comment: Alex, WOW! I love, love, loved my ATC and the extra stickers you sent along with it.. Who DOESN'T love cute Sanrio characters such as Badtz-Maru?!
The tiny strawberry sticker that you put in the card, TOO CUTE! I want 687,000 of them!
Banana silly band?! Um hello! Could you have spoiled me anymore?
I appreciate it all. Side note; I believe you and I both need to have a talk with Anthony because he happens to be my secret boyfriend too! ^o^
Response: Awww yay!!! I'm so glad you liked it :D The banana was my favorite ;) And whaaat???!! That two-timer!! LOL!
Comment: Postcard finally came in the mail today! I love the card, it's exactly my style. :) I've always wanted to visit Portland, and hope to some day make a drive out to BC then down through Washington and Oregon. Would be an awesome trip!
Response: Yay! Glad it finally made it :D Maybe it got attacked by a Sasquatch between here and there...and you should totally do that trip :) There's a lot to see all over both states. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hello! So sorry I missed rating you on this. So fun we keep coming up swap partners :)
Response: It's all good. Thanks for the rating and the heart :) You inspired me to come up with a whole bunch of those song lyric/animal combos, ha ha. Thinking about trying to do a notecard set or something :D
Comment: I am a katamari dork as well so I love your sharpie tatt. However what sealed the deal for me was your story. I sincerely hope it was for comedic effect because if you really talk like that I am going to buy you the hooked on phonics set. :)
Response: LOL! No, no. That was for comedic effect, haha. I talk to myself in my head like that sometimes because I'm a nerd and spend too much time on AIM, ha ha. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Tack :D I loved everything ! The envelope cracked up me up, the stickers were perfect, and I thought the paper you used to type the letter fit so well with this swap! The ATC was so great. Tusen tack !
Response: YAY! Thanks :DDD I was pretty stoked on that one haha. Tusen takk!!
Comment: Love the card! I had never heard of the tape transfer technique and will have to try it myself. Loved the stickers as well, I appreciate your thoughtfulness!
Response: Thanks, and gosh, sorry, I'm pretty sure I forgot to write your name on the card! I was writing it during lunch and I forgot your first name..d'oh! But yeah, the technique is awesome and plus, you can make weird handmade paper sculptures from the paper you wipe off if you do it into a bowl, haha. thanks for the heart :)
Comment: I love everything so much!!! You truly did a great job. From Cabbage Patch, to Care Bears, to rainbows, NKOTB, He-Man, Smurfs, gelly bracelets...it takes me back to my childhood. The watermelon eraser is so cute and I love the neon pencil and colored pencil. It is all amazing. I'm eating the laffy taffy right now!!! I'm feel awful that you had pre-bought stuff and my profile discouraged you from sending it. In general neon aren't my favorite colors, but it does fit the 80's really well. Thanks again for such a great job!!! It's all COOL BEANS!!!
Response: Oh, phew!! I was hoping so, ha ha. When I think of being a kid in the '80s, neon is the first thing that pops into my head, ha ha. Radical!! :D Thanks for the heart and the comment!!
Comment: My envie ROCKS! got to add the wallpaper to my collection. I'm going to try the vinyl too… its a cool texture surface. Thanks Alex!
Response: Oh yay!!!!! I'm so glad you like it! I was worried, ha ha, I know I put some totally random crap in there. Thanks for the heart :) I gotta come to your store next time I'm in Brooklyn!!! This is totally random but do you know the person that runs Morbid Anatomy? Because obv there are only like 5 ppl that live in Brooklyn, lol.
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers. I gave you a "heart" because I love when people keep it real and are able to say (write) what's on their mind and heart without being tact-less toward others while maybe even evoking in the reader a tender memory or emotion.
Thanks for the smiles, the sighs, the laughs and for sharing in general.
Response: Aw, that's so sweet of you :) Thank you! I really appreciate this comment. I try my best to be honest without being jerky, ha ha. <3
Comment: Thanks for the great card and message! I do need to visit Portland. I know it's the vegan mecca, and I've never been! It's nice to swap with another veg*an!
I am rather introverted, so when I do activism (mainly animal related), it's usually behind the scenes - letter writing and fundraising. I'm not comfortable at big demonstrations or petitioning. Bit of anxiety there!
Good luck with your LGBTQ organization!
Response: Aw, thank you! There's a whole veg*n swappers group. Behind the scenes people are good too :D Most people hate fundraising, so good for you! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Your ATC is rad! Loved it, one of the most fun I have received from a swap-bot swap as of yet, loved the handmade envie, too. ^_^ Hahaha the dog diseases puzzle was incredibly amusing & creative *typed* letter. ^_^ Btw, added you as a friend Flickr earlier today, I had clicked on your artwork that was on the frontpage of swapbot & recognized your username.
Response: Awesome, I'm so glad you liked it! I was nervous since it was my first (and the debaucle with the USPS and all...heh). I'll add you back or whatevs. I'm still kinda new to the Flickr thing...Thanks!!! :D
Comment: Love your swap name Alex! Cracked me up!!! Thanks so much for the beautiful bookmark and the freebie too. I'm flying to Michigan tomorrow and got these just in time. I just ordered microserfs from paperbackswap.com. Thanks for the recommendation!
Good luck with your list and happy reading!
PS - Loved the typewritten letter on the beautiful paper.
Response: Awesome! Drop me a comment when you get back and let me know if you liked it ;) Thanks for the heart and the compliments!
Comment: Geez Louise! I love it. It's always so nice when something so awesome can come from a tiny envelope.
Your paper, your card, your sticker/stamps and your list! This is pretty bitchin!
We definitely have similar things that make us smile! I love bubble tea too. Oh god, so much. Especially green tea and taro and passionfruit. I've never had honey though! Sounds cool.
There are about a million more things I could say! I'm one of your partners for the journal postcards, to be a surprise ruining creep, so if you like what I send, maybe we could do a private swap one day!
Thank you again!
Response: Awesome! Glad you liked it! :D Can't wait for your journal PC, creeper! ;) Def. would be down for a private swap, but probably not for a couple weeks. IRL is busy and I've got a ton of crap to finish and send out.
