I always rate as soon as I get anything, but drop me a message if you think I may have forgotten about doing a rating :)
I'm an International Swapper, so please be patient if some deliveries take a while, usually around a month (or month and a half), but if it's been longer than that feel free to contact me and I'll gladly resend.
Deliveries used to take shorter time before, but our postal service has gotten very slow for some reason in the last year...
Hi! My name is Erika, I'm 22, and I live in Mexico. I'm a Psychology student.
I love reading and going to the movies with friends. I'm an indoors person, really. Crowds make me a little bit anxious.
Food is my weakness. I love making it, watching it and eating it. Really, it's an art!
Last, if I join a swap is because I already bought what I'll be sending, and I wouldn't join if I did not plan on sending what I'm supposed to.
If you want to get an idea of the kind of things I send, you can check the urls up there labeled 'Postcrossing' and 'Flickr'.
Feel free to check them out; maybe you like something and we can arrange a Private Swap :)
Since I'm an International Swapper, I mostly choose Postcard Swaps (due to mailing costs).
I kind of prefer reciving store-bought postcards (and I also send store-bought postcards), yet I would appreciate a handmade card, too.
I don't have a preference when it comes to Envelope - No envelope, you can send them anyway you want it. Even tho I prefer them sent naked, if you think an envelope is needed, it's fine by me. I'm not picky :)
I'll check my swap partners' profile to see if they have any special requirements (unwritten, naked postcards, envelopes) before I send them.
When it comes to themes I like on a postcard, anything goes for me. Animals, cartoons, weird things, flowers, people, places, pagan/wiccan, buldings, jokes, writting! I just like getting them, it makes me happy :)
Some random likes: angels, statues, mushrooms, coffee, fairies, cowboys, anime, all the berries, rain, supernatural stuff, wrestling, fairy tales, anything London or Japan related, history, yaoi/slash, superheroes, greek mythology... and that's it for now.
I'm a sucker for 'Supernatural', 'The Mighty Boosh', and 'House MD'. I love watching shows that are about something, not just relationships...
I cringe to the sight of 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Dawson's Creek', 'One Tree Hill' and '90210'. Ugh! I hate drama and specially teenage drama!
On reality shows I have a divided opinion. I like some... I hate many. I like 'Project Runway', 'RuPaul's Drag Race', 'Britains Got Talent', 'American Idol' (the auditions, the rest is a bit boring to me), 'The amaizing race' and some others I don't remember right now.
I don't really watch that much TV. I mostly buy what I want to see on DVD and watch it calmly.
Documentaries, about animals, religion, history, and mysteries, I do love. I'm not really into all that science stuff... (genetics, the human body, medical procedures, the weather...).
Oh, and I loved Thundercats when I was little. I still like it now :P
Since I was in kindergarden I have been in love with Teal (blue and green mixed together). It's so beautiful! I remember I loved that single crayon at school... It makes me think about the sea and lakes and rain and many other beautiful things.
I also like Grey and Silver.
*Wolves
*Owls
*Ornithorhynchus
*Hamsters
*Crows
*Polar bears
*Coyotes
*Bats
I don't like felines all that much, nor most of the Savanna Fauna.
I love fantasy books. Harry Potter, LOTR, the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy.
Also, I enjoy all kinds of books about mythology (Greek, mostly) and fairytales.
I'm such a big fan of Stephen King.
Last, I like reading comics and mangas.
