About Me

I live with my husband and two mutts in New England, where I teach Freshman Composition at a college. I recently completed my MFA degree in fiction and am revising a novel.

Wanna know about some of my crafty favorites? I like most colors, but I especially favor pink, green, and black, although I'm incorporating more brown in my life--chocqua is getting to be a favorite, too.

In terms of knitting, I'm a self-proclaimed yarn snob. I like rich colors and nice fibers. I'm yearning to get more into crochet--it was the gateway craft for me when I was a kid. I've been doing more embroider lately and love Sublime Stitching's patterns as well as the Stitchettes from Wee Wonderfuls.

Comment: Since this was my first swap I was excited to get your package in the mail. I adore the napkins, they were made out of a fabric that I've never seen around here, and sooo cute. Also thank you for the coin purse with the little banana seat bike, loved it.
