September 23 2019 - Happy Autumn!!! This is my favorite season of the year! I've just started a bullet journal with high hopes for some help for this scattered brain. Happy to hear from anyone else who uses one...tips, tricks, spread suggestions, favorite bujo YouTuber? Please share!
Things that are happening right now:
If ever something I send doesn't get to you, please let me know so I have a chance to correct it. As much as we rely on the postal service, they too make mistakes and lose things. I get it.(where are my keys again?)
My word for 2019: MOVE
My verse for 2019:
Psalm 25: 4-5
Show me the right path, O Lord;
point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in You.
Things I like to make sometimes:
Knit hats, scarves, socks, and sweaters
Crochet amigurumi toys
Stuff About Me
I just turned 40 in February, which feels super weird to me.
I've been married for 16 years to Dave (engineer and private pilot) and we have no children.
I've been a born-again Christian since February 1982.
I'm an enneagram 5.
Moved around a lot growing up...lived in Washington, South Carolina, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. Also a little bit in Germany when I was little (Army parents!). Right now I'm happily settled in the NC mountains.
I'm totally a cat person. These days I spend my cat time with three "formerly feral" kitties, who sleep in our garage at night and play outside during the day (except when they visit me in the studio ;)
I'm on Instagram... @ tigerlilyknotwise
I find myself joining less swaps these days. Mostly because I don't need "stuff". So I'm being a little more selective.
Here are some things I'm into at the moment:
Colors: Purples tend to be my favorite. I also like greens and blues and earthy colors. I’ve really been into orange lately too.
Animals: Cats, deer, foxes, an elephant here and there...
Postcards: Preferences are art or animals, especially trees, cats, foxes, the moon, or anything off my alphabetty list below :)
I like my postcards stamped and written or drawn on. If you don't know what to write, send me a good quote, a short poem, or an interesting fact, or a verse that means something to you :)
Here are Joey & Silver (with the white spot on his forehead)...our 2 little half adopted feral kittens. No relation to Pippin ;)
On November 17, 2017 I had to say goodbye to my sweet Pippin. I miss this little face every day.
Currently I have made 169 paper cranes!
