I've been quite absent form Swap-bot for about a year, but now it feels like getting back to business. :) (september 2012)

i pledge to rate and recycle packages/ packing materials.

i tend to be the swapper who sends on the very deadline day, and sometimes i've been a couple of days late (i try to PM my partners about it on time). But I'm not a flaker and not planning on becoming one. I'm just often a bit slow with my stuff. this applies to maaany things in my life, not just swaps and mail, i've always been the deadline girl.

the hearts are weird. please don't send me "extras" just in the hope of a heart; i try to give hearts by the feeling i get from the swap itself. If you genuinely want to send me something extra, it's fine (i love ephemera and knick-knacks he), but you shouldn't feel offended if i don't give a heart anyway. I think leaving a comment is a better way of telling what you think about the swap. so hearts, for me, ARE the extras, not FOR the extras.

i'm working in an after-school club for 1st and 2nd graders, so lots of noise, stress, dumb jokes and messing around during my workdays. I love kids but it's VERY unlikely i'll ever have my own. the role of a part-time educator suits me better. ;)

I'm open-minded, sarcastic and laugh at stupid jokes. I'm not easily offended and enjoy many things some might think obscene or bizarre (but also respect the beliefs and views of others, so don't worry).

plus i'm a dork for not using capital letters as i write on computer. too lazy for that, sorry.

i love nature and all kinds of animals. i have an especially soft spot for insects, molluscs and other creepy crawlies!

I have 2 african land snails as pets, they're adorable and interesting, believe me. I've had a praying mantis, indian stick insects and field crickets also. i'd LOVE to have a giant millipede one day, although my girlfriend isn't very keen on that idea. i'm planning on having an aquarium with apple snails also. and triops!

three kitties from local animal rescue shelter live with me too.
