Hi, I'm Jen. I live in UT and am married to my high school sweetheart Cody (for 10 years)! No kids, but we do have a spoiled cat (Molly). I only sign up for swaps I know I am going to be able to do on time and well. :) Right now I am trying to be frugal and am doing mostly envelope/USA swaps to save on shipping & other costs.

I love love love music. I LOVE R.E.M., almost everything from the 80's, and my high school days were filled with Grunge, SKA, and Punk. I love finding new music, and am addicted to making playlists for my iPod. Right now a few favorite artists on my list are: Sufjan Stevens, Band of Horses, Iron & Wine, Interpol, Spoon, The Mountain Goats, Belle & Sebastian, Rilo Kiley...I could go on, but it's already way long.

I love to read! A few books I've loved recently: The Hunger Games series, The Thirteenth Tale, The Forgotten Garden, The Book Thief, The Pretties-Uglies-Specials series, All of the Harry Potters, The Time Travelers Wife, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series, Amy Tan's books, The Mortal Instruments series, I read and liked the Twilight series, but am not crazy about it :)

I love funny movies, musicals, or drama, not really into romantic comedies or horror. Favorites include, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Shawshank Redemption, Dangerous Liasons, Fiddler on the Roof, Elf, Totoro, The Incredibles, Amelie, All of the:Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter Movies, anything Tim Burton or John Hughes 80's movies.

30 Rock, The Office, Modern Family, Parks & Rec, Mad Men, Friday Night Lights, Chuck, The Simpsons, The Venture Brothers & the Regular Show! Shows I miss: Pushing Daisies, Gilmore Girls, My So Called Life, Freaks & Geeks, Everwood, Veronica Mars, Arrested Development

I love making cards, banners, bookmarks, journals, matchboxes, anything out of cute paper. I also hand sew little felt critters. I love to paint furniture, and mod podge things. I love adding ribbons and brads to anything. I like to doodle and play around making my own clip art in photoshop. I'm learning to sew on my new machine! I love etsy and long to buy everything there! yay handmade!

• I love mail! Getting real mail is the highlight of my day

• I love anything CUTE!

• Craft Supplies: paper, ribbon, felt, fat quarters of yummy fabric, brads, eyelets, nice stickers, punches, clips, paper or fabric flowers, rubber stamps, ink pads, glue rollers or double stick foam to make things puffy, anything people scrapbook with, even though I don't technically scrapbook, I use it in all my other crafts.

• I like office supplies, pens, paper clips, post its, stamps etc. I love markers of all types, stationary, cards, note paper, cute envelopes.

• I collect smashed pennies from those machines in tourist areas. I've been collecting them since I was wee. I'd LOVE more!

• Anything handmade or sewn, little bags, headbands, tote bags, aprons. Or knitted/crocheted, scarves, socks (handmade or store bought is fine) mittens, cute beanies, little animals.

• I love lip balm & lipgloss, or nice makeup. I like lotions and face scrubs, masks, peels etc. I especially like natural things, like Burts Bees, or anything related to massage therapy.

• Earrings, especially small hoops. I only wear silvertones though, no gold, but copper and other muted metals are good. Dangly ones with beads in pretty colors.

• I like small versions of regular sized things. I like most things kawaii, but don't have anywhere to buy it here. I like Hello Kitty, and Chococat, Totoro! Emily the Strange, cute food with faces, cupcakes. Vintage (80's style) Strawberry Shortcake things. Or strawberry stuff in general. Ladybugs, dragonflies & butterflies in small amounts. ;)

• Outdoorsy stuff. I love fall. Leaves, trees, mushrooms, mountains, camping. Love it. (But NOT hunting or fishing!) OWLS are my favorite, I also like birds, cute little blue birds, chicks, sparrows, or ravens/crows. Squirrels & chipmunks, cute little deer, hedgehogs, garden Gnomes! If it is "whimsical woodland" feeling, I'll LOVE it! Anything with snowflakes! I have a cute 'cruiser bike' and like the image of retro bikes on things.

• Books! I love sewing or 'how-to' crafty books and magazines. I read mostly Fiction.

• ANYTHING STRIPEY! I love stripes & argyle too! Also polka dots or anything 'graphic' and modern. I LOVE Martha Stewart things from Michaels or K-Mart/Walmart. Anything from IKEA!

• Colors: love GREEN: crayon green, lime green, sage green! I love lime green with purple/periwinkle, earthy green & brown, brown & pink together, red, black & white. I also like orange, especially with blue. I like almost all colors in some form or other.

• Candy: Chocolate, especially DARK chocolate! Mint & chocolate or cherry & chocolate! Key Lime flavored things. I have a small obsession with Kinder-Eggs

• I love the smells of Lemon & Lime or Cinnamon & Vanilla

• Anything Apple or Mac related! I love my mac!!

• Halloween!! Or any holiday for that matter, but I love Halloween.

Wool Felt - I only own craft felt, but would love some wool!

Rick Rack or nice ribbon is always appreciated my new love is FARBENMIX ribbon from Germany!!

I don't drink coffee or tea but will pass them on to friends that do! I LOVE hot cocoa though! Not a fan of white chocolate, & please no liquor chocolates. Also, I hate black licorice. And fish, not that anyone would send fish. :) Ha!
