I am a school teacher living near Nashville, TN. I live with my boyfriend and our two cats (one is 5 and the other is 10). I love to cook, read, do yoga, and work in our garden, which is very tiny at the moment due to living in an apartment. I am vegan and love to find new recipes to try! Knitting is one of my favorite hobbies though I am not very advanced yet with this. I just learned how to cable recently though!!

Someday, I hope to open up an alternative school on a piece of land that also has an organic farm for the students to use as part of their classroom. I believe in the unschooling movement and want to give kids genuine, real-life learning experiences and minimize textbook learning as much as possible.
