I think this goes without saying for most of us, but I'll say it anyway. :-) If you don't receive something from me in a reasonable amount of time after I mark it sent (for domestic mail, i'd say it should be there in a week tops) then please PM me right away so I can send out a replacement! I love swapping, and I know how sad it is to get flaked on. I wouldn't want anyone to have to wait too long for something!

I am a New England gal, born and raised. I have an awesome dog named sweetie. I love adventure in all its forms. I love crafts, but have a short attention span. I crochet, knit, quilt, sew, and the list goes on. :-) I love outdoorsy things. I like to wear more natural colors, but I love bright and bold colors in art! I love asian influence in art, decor and cooking. I love photography. I just bought a new camera and I am planning on getting more into photography as a hobbyist. I would love to do some private photography swaps if anyone is interested!! I play sports like RUGBY (my favorite) and softball. I also like whitewater canoeing, rock climbing and snowboarding. I don't consider myself religious, but if I were forced to chose a religion, it would be Buddhism. I actually really enjoy learning about eastern cultures and religions and I like things with those sorts of themes. I love to read all things. I like to write poetry when I'm inspired. I like having reasons to be inspired. I am always interested in learning new things, new skills, etc. I like goofy or quirky things. I like polka dots and plaids and paisleys in certain things. I like tattoos and classic tattoo styles and punk things and emo things and vintage things. I like to be inspired by other peoples favorite styles, so if you are into something, please put a lot of your style into what you are making or sending. I do like goth, dark and mysterious, etc, as well as cute things (hello kitty and the like). I am an Alpha Gamma Delta, so if there are any others out there, I wouldn't mind something in the colors red, buff and green. Also, I love squirrels!! Alpacas too!! :-) I really do love a very wide range of things, and like getting different things, so I'm trying to keep my profile vague enough that I don't end up getting all items that are very similar. I just really like creativity!!

Also, I have no pet allergies or issues with cigarette smoke.

I like a lot of different music styles. I mostly listen to rock, metal, folk, jazz, jam. Some bands for example, Tool, Vast, Dreamtheater, In flames, Lamb of God, Killswitch, DMB, John Mayer, Sia, KT Tunstall, Hanson (newer stuff), Bon Jovi, Pink. These don't even touch the surface of the various bands I like. I also play a few instruments myself: guitar, flute piccolo, french horn.

I have a ton of books, and like reading things on many subjects. Here are some random favorites: The Universe in a Single Atom, Einsteins Dreams, Don't Lets Go To the Dogs Tonight, Water for Elephants, War Trash, Bonk, The Da Vinci Code, The Art of Happiness.

I know how to do almost every craft out there. However, some of my favorites are quilting, sewing, felt crafts, card making, knitting and crocheting. I have gotten very into paper crafts recently, probably a lot to do with this site, and I love getting extras like little paper scraps or bits of ribbon. Basically anything that could go on an ATC.

It occurred to me that I should put some dislikes in here since the rest of the profile is filled with things I like. Honestly, there isn't much I dislike, I'm a lover not a hater. :-) I guess I don't love things that are very "country." Like country style crafts, but I don't hate them either. I love bright color, but I don't like using every color in the rainbow in crafts, except sometimes art. I usually pick maybe 2ish colors and shades to make things. I dislike super duper girly things, but that's not to say I dislike anything that looks feminine. To be honest thought, there is probably nothing you could send me that I would hate. I think I already mentioned this, but I just like getting unique things from random people with different lives, different tastes, etc from me. So, I encourage you to make/send whatever you think is cool, because I think its cool to get things you think are cool. If I wanted a bunch of my favorite colored, asian style, whatchammacallits, I would just make myself some. So, I hope to get a piece of your life.

Glitter. Not that I hate looking at glitter, but I find it bothersome that it gets everywhere, so if you are going to send something with glitter, please kindly encase it in an adequate amount of glue or shake it out before sending so that it is mostly contained on the item. Actually, this is more for my boyfriend's sake, as it really bothers him the most :-) thanks!

I haven't done any wishlist type swaps yet, but just in case I ever do, or if you like to send extras, here are some things I would find useful.

-scraps of neat paper

-anything that can be used in art or ATCs

-stickers (for sealing envelopes)

-recycled art components (like interesting advertisements)

-photography!! (I just love interesting photography, and enjoy receiving photos)

-something from your town (like a postcard or menu)

-an interesting article from a magazine/the internet/wherever, just because I love to read :-)

-tea (yum)
