Welcome, and thanks for coming to check out my profile page! I am a married mom of two, who has become a bit of a DIVA since having recently survived the first year of breast cancer treatment. I am now a very humbled breast cancer survivor who has vowed to never give up the fight! (My husband says I never give up any fight.)

I have two sons, 24 & 9, and one new grand-daughter, who I dote on terribly! (She is 14 months old and such a cutie-patootie!!!) We live in a beautiful beach community (I have added some pic's to the end of this profile) and we often enjoy combing the beach for beach glass, shells and other treasures.

My passion is expressive art, and I love to create using all kinds of media and textures! I love art that is outside the box! I must confess that I AM ADDICTED to knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, cardmaking, jewelry making, tin & metal crafting, sewing, paper crafting, and sugarcraft art (fondant, specialty cake decorating & chocolate art).

My compulsion to create has me thinking of the next project before the one I am working on is finished. Each spring, I enjoy making my own simple sun dresses, purses, hats, etc.- dolls & silly frilly things for my sweet little grand-daughter. I enjoy making and donating handcrafted items for the benefit of breast cancer survivors. I also have a love for all those newborn babies-they get lots of stuff too!

I love to swap and get so much enjoyment from sharing with others. I appreciate all art and enjoy seeing others creative style. It is not my intention to ever flake, so if you do not receive an item from me for a swap, please let me know. I generally send out my swaps with delivery confirmation, so it will be easier to trace.

I love all crafts and art that involve paper or textile. I adore frilly stuff, teaparties, cupcakes, goddess, fairy, doll & accessory making, glittery, sparkly, lacy, romantic items from the past, jewelry making, scrapbook/card making, ATC's, home decorations, mini's & trinkets for the little divas in my life! I have a house full of Super Hero's!!! I enjoy making fabric & wool beads.

Any movie that makes me laugh! Overboard, Fried Green Tomatos, Titanic, Harry Potter, White Chicks, Godfather, Sleeping with the Enemy, Caddeshack, Forrest Gump, Steel Magnolias, and all the VeggieTales movies!!

Favorite Music: Classic Rock-n-Roll. Aerosmith, Boston, Nickelback, Def Leppard! Nirvana, Red Hot Chili's, KISS, An occasional Disco Night with my girlz! Aretha, Pink, Christina, Elton!

I am passionate for art/craft that encourages, lifts, expands the mind and world. I donate many special items I create to other women in treatment for breast cancer that need hope...and to smile. Art is a window to the soul, for those who create it and those who view it!

My style can be sweet, sassy, on-the- edge, naughty, nice, inspiring, caring, thought-provoking, but is always honest and fun.

Any books of inspirational words and stories;,journals from long ago. I love all books vintage!

I enjoy true crime books, and cookbooks with great hor d'oeuvres or hearty, simple fare. Running books that challenge or inspire my workouts. Handmade health/wellness journals.

I enjoy hunting for antique photographs of brides, women, mothers & their children, ladies doing chores. I love all photos of my children and grandchildren! I am a photo-holic!

Thoughtless art. Dollar store stuff. Liars, cheats and theives. Drama! Bras that don't fit right! Cartoon characters that scream at you, instead of talk. Traffic. Not having a pen/pencil to jot down a creative thought or idea!

If you send me a treat, I would love it, however, I have a gluten intolerance. There is no gluten in sugar-free hard candy (hint hint). I also have to be careful about wheat protein in bath/body products, so I would prefer to purchase my own. We love gummy bears and jelly beans!!! (yummy), and chocolate!!!! I wonder if there is a way to mix all three.....

Favorite Girlie Things: Handmade jewelry, artsy barrettes/hair combs/hair ties, shabby chic anything, breast cancer socks, unique scarves, handmade totes and little make-up bags, shiny-sparkly-glittery lip gloss/stick in bubblegum pink or nude color...soy candles- I love all scents, fun paper plates/napkins for my girlie lunches, anything pink, sparkly and fun!

(I prefer silver over gold-tone anything. I have some metal sensitivity, so I wear sterling mostly.)

My youngest son, aged 9, loves to receive mail from everywhere. It encourages him to get some enjoyment out of reading. He is a big Harry Potter, Titanic, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superhero, Monster Truck fan; he generally loves anything to do with the ocean, history, hunting, magic, wizards, animals (wild & domestic). He would love a note or postcard with interesting pictures from where you live.
