Comment: Thank you for the great selection of postcards. Thank you for your kind words re: my family. I am starting to settle in back home. I feel like I have been away forever! My summer was very turbulant and emotional. Now I am seeking calm. And yes, I love the movie Elf! I laugh everytime I watcg it, and midnight zin Paris, I can watch that movie over and over. What a great era to live in Europe. Can you imagine all that talent in one little country? Have a great day and enjoy your Netflix!
Response: Hi Christie - Thank you for rating, I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. Also glad to hear that life has calmed down some. Wishing you peace.
Comment: Thanks Sharon I really enjoyed your choice of cards esp the Hawaiian ones with the ship 🚢 right up my alley.. 😂 the extra Charlie Brown Halloween stickers was a nice little surprise too 😁😁😁 much appreciated ❤❤❤
Response: Hi - I'm happy you liked the card choices. Hope all is well, thanks for rating!
Comment: Hi Sharon! Thanks for the great selection of PCs, especially the Vote By Mail one. Thanks too for the extra. I’m in denial about Summer ending - we were lucky enough to have our pool open for 1 last weekend. It was much too cold for me to get completely in, but my sons were brave & had fun. Take care :)
Response: Thanks for rating; I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. Oh, I'm def also in denial about summer ending lol. Hope the school year is going well for your boys!
Comment: Hi Sharon! Thank you for the great selection of PCs, & especially for the extra - the Rhino with a bugle! Hooray for friendly pups in the park - they are immediate spirit-lifters, aren’t they? Take care ;)
Response: :) Yes, they are definitely spirit-lifters! Glad you liked the PCs, thanks for rating.
Comment: Ah, Sharon. I'd have given you ♥♥♥ for the envie alone. Love the graphic illustrations of women, the magnificent Leonard Cohen stamps & the quote from his Anthem (much better than Emerson's version with his God attribution). But then you wow me with B&W photos from the 60's, lovely photographs of hands, and - be still my heart - the Cuban gas pump with Che casting a wary eye! Oh & did I mention the beautiful marbled paper on which you wrote your note? Thank you for a wonderful swap.
Response: Hey Linda - I'm so glad you enjoyed the swap. Always fun being partnered with you :) I hope you're doing well and staying cool.
Comment: Thank you very much for your PC selection of 3 PC's plus 1. They are so cute & love them! As for Halloween. No trick or treaters here. We live atop a mountain. So, They wouldn't come way up there in the boonies, hee!
Response: Haha yeah, living atop a mountain would be a deterrent for sure! Thanks for rating.
Comment: What a delightful surprise to find a swap from you in my mailbox! I was taken first by the envie. I'm a sucker for black backgrounds, & your beautiful white script really popped out. Then to find such a great selection of PCs - no surprise when I saw they were from you, as you always had a knack for making terrific choices. The salmon-40-salmon tickles my quirky funny bone & I love the portrait of a young Truman Capote. But oh, that Afghan gunman! I actually have that card & have long wanted to share it with a friend who also traveled there in the '70s -- but I couldn't bear to part with it. Now, thanks to you, I can pass it on. Thanks so much, Sharon, and I'm so glad you're back. I'm frankly amazed I'm still here, but sometimes I think SB keeps me sane :)
Response: Hi Linda! Thank you for the welcome back. I’m so glad the double card will serve a good purpose :) I have a few PCs like that myself, ones I find harder to share lol. Would love to hear about your trip to Afghanistan in the 70s. Next time!!
Comment: Wow...where do I even begin with how awesome this swap was? The envelope...you could sell those, girl! And the letter was just such an unexpected and wonderful treasure. I will be writing back (it may take a bit, I'm a little behind at the moment), it was perfectly legible, and it really just made my whole night. Thank you so, so much for such a beautifully done swap! xoxo
Response: Hi Phe - I’m so glad you enjoyed the swap and that the envelope actually got to you. Was concerned that Canada Post/USPS would look at it and think “um, we can’t read this”. :) Thanks for your kind words. Hopefully I can work envelopes into my retirement plan haha. Looking forward to hearing from you when you get a chance - let the pub convo continue!
Comment: Text pants!!! This deserves at least 3 hearts! You truly sent a treasure of a swap. The gorgeous envelope (I have a thing for that kind of tan paper.), beautiful lettering, special stamps, autumnal stickers, muted tones washi and bird/letter stamped image, almost made me swoon! And inside, such a friendly note, 4! beautiful and very interesting postcards inside a pretty little bag! To say you went above and beyond is an understatement! Thank you SO much!
Response: Thank you, Wanda! I think we share a love of kraft paper. Wishing you a wonderful fall and hope to swap with you again.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter and all the amazing goodies!!!!! I loved reading your summaries and thoughts!! I love Willa Cather! I’m terrible about re-reading books. Just too many others waiting for me to read! Ha ha!! I Windex the library books I borrow, so at least the covers are safe ha ha ha ha! I buy so many too. Sooo many. Can’t wait to hit Indigo in Windsor! They have awesome bargain books! I’m so happy you joined! XOXO
Response: I love this swap, thank you for hosting! And thanks for all the hygiene tips haha. Hope you’re reading some good titles this summer. I’d love a month off just to read...Have fun in Windsor!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcards, I love them all.The sticker “ nobody knows I’m Elvis” is so funny, I thought he had left the building😉 Thanks also for the nice notecard. Wishing you also the best for 2019. Lots of love from me and the crazy cat😺😻😺
Response: I’m glad you enjoyed them. Thank you for the ❤️. Hope you’re having a great year!
Comment: What!!!??? OMG thank you for everything you sent!!!!!!!!!! The cards and postcards and stickers are allllllll to die for. You are a rock star with amazing paper goods shopping at your ready, lol!! Love love love it all - THANK YOU!!!!!!!! XOXO (And those little bags. Oh my!) Happy Holidays, my friend!!!!! Muah!!!!!!!
Response: Yay! M mail actually arrived before the new year lol. Glad you enjoyed it. Hoping to get back in the snail game this year ;) Thank you for hosting!
Comment: Such a bright, happy envelope! Then all very amazing postcards that so perfectly match my profile! Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me and then choose lovely cards. Wow, watercolor cards of lilacs - c'est magnifique! How I love the photo of the little lad in Mickey Mouse ears at Forest Lawn Cemetery- his face and body language sure tell you he knows he is not at the happiest place on earth! I taught elementary, usually a 2nd/3rd combo class so I could have kids 2 years in a row. Then I moved on to do teacher training for our county dept. of education. My husband taught h.s. biology. I remember my h.s. and college French well enough that I passed the language test and now help French speaking guests at Disneyland. If I give a tour in French, I get a headache for the first few hours until my brain can stop translating and start thinking in French! Congrats on your teaching degree! Oh --delightful lemonade note card also! Thanks again for one of the best swaps I've received in a long time.
Response: Hi Shirley! I'm really happy you enjoyed the swap. Your French must be really good if you can give tours in it - and I definitely can relate to the headache lol.
Comment: Canada Post and USPS sure took their sweet time delivering this — but so worth the wait!!!!! It’s awesome. You have the best rubber stamps around. I love the stickers and postcards. Wowzers!!! Thanks so much and I am very happy you joined. XOXO
Comment: So many and so wonderful. Thank you with extra hearts. Saganaki is a favorite of mine. I like it with a squeeze of lemon. Things are off here. Instead of umbrellas people are asking for sunscreen. We have warm weather and no rain. A friend from Poland said its 30c. Here it 19c. Crazy. I hope you make it here.
Comment: I adore the amazing collection of postcards you sent me!! 100% unique and the first one of their kind I had ever get. Thank you so much for your generosity adding extras as well!! Love it!! GREAT Swap!!!
Response: Hi Maria - happy you enjoyed the postcards! Hope you had a lovely trip and gets lots of rest this week. Thanks for joining!
Comment: Hi Sharon! Thank you for SUCH a great postcard! I love the elephants and your handwriting is beautiful! You're so funny but I agree...my clothes are out of style most of the time too! Hah! That's a great quote--I like that one! Sometimes our admirations can really change with age since age tends to come with wisdom! Thanks again for a smile in my mailbox! <3
Response: Thank you and you're very welcome! I can only hope that wisdom comes with age lol. Have a very happy summer!
Comment: Such a sweet post filled with so much love! Your envelope was really cool and made me smile! Thank you so much for all of it. I really like the stunning dog cards! I hope you have a lovely heartyValentin's Day! :)
Response: Happy Valentine's Day to you! Glad you enjoyed the cards :) Thank you for rating.
Comment: What a wonderful way to celebrate NY 2017! It was a so beautiful envie! Loved the cards, your handmade card, the wordy, the stickers and specially loved the touch with the stars... It was trully a New Year's celebration when I opened the envelope and the stars, popped out ♥♥♥♥
Thank you for a GREAT Swap!
Response: I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Hope you and your family have a wonderful year. Cheers from Canada 😘
Comment: O M G
I didn't know what hit me!
So elaborate, so cool, and with an elephant heralding the envelope's arrival, what's not to love?
My head is spinning!
--I just turned back toward the booklet for a moment, & noticed something I had entirely missed before: the library borrower's card, with so much detail all its own!
I may have to send a (far more simplistic, I'm afraid) snail your way to answer all the questions brought up in this (not-so-) flat "envie" of fun!
T H A N K
Y O U !
Response: Wow. I'm not sure what to say lol but thank you. It was fun putting this swap together. Snail mail is always welcomed here!!
Comment: I absolutely LOVE those #exploreBC stickers. In fact, I might have to start lurking around tourism bureaus in order to obtain more. I look at it and I feel myself go "OOOOOOOOOOOOH" out of happiness, each and every time. Also love the journaling cards. And the stickers. And the super random-seeming Canada chipboard accents - I have no idea what I will do with them, but they make me happy <3 For my art journaling, For art journaling, I use a spiral-bound notebook from Island Blue (I think they are Van Island only); they have notebooks with thicker paper (made for mixed media, probably available similarly elsewhere). Haha, I also totally lose momentum on things. Just started a new regular journal. Obsessed with it. How long will it last? Who knows! Also, sorry for the long comment. In short: thanks <3 <3
Response: Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed the swap - I had fun putting it together. Thanks for sharing about the journal; I haven't come across Island Blue but I'll keep my eyes open. Hope the new journal is going well!!
Comment: Lots of great postage stamps on a fun envie, a lovely letter to read, and terrific flat surprises... totally awesome! Thank you so much for a wonderful swap. Like you, I'm so not ready for Halloween but it's been a hot humid summer and cooler weather would be most welcome.
Response: I hear you, as I'm looking forward to some cooler weather also! Glad you enjoyed the swap. Take care.
Comment: Thank you so much for a lovely note and all the beautiful Seattle and Washington postcards! The memories! I love it! And your photos! Gorgeous! :-) Thank you so much for sharing! (And I was sorry to learn that you lost your father, too. I get through the grief by focusing on other things and happier times. Remembering him when he was healthy and happy, as opposed to ill and declining. And my service dog is a help to me. He keeps me stable. And Swap-Bot now helps, too, because it is a MAJOR distraction. And it provides me with lots of happy mail like yours.) :-)
Response: Yay! In glad you enjoyed the swap. I'm trying to focus on other things too. A service dog would be wonderful, it sounds like he helps a lot â¤ï¸.
Comment: Wow, this goes 'way' back. lol. Its kinda a antique now. lol. There is no reason what-so-ever your mail should of not been delivered. Go figure. The writing on the envie is GOR-juss! Thank you for doing that! Lucy is beautiful. The stamps are so cool. Douchebaggery? So funny. And caffeine. Spot on! And look at that awesome Star Trek stamp! THANK YOU friend!!!!!!
Response: I'm not sure why it was deemed undeliverable either, but I'm glad it made it the second time around! Happy you like it, and thanks for being so understanding :)
Comment: Thank you for your nice card :) Sorry for the delay in rating, but the envelope arrived not long ago. Cannot make out the postage stamp, so I am not sure what happened there.
Response: Hey there - I'm glad it arrived and I don't know what happened either. I can only say that it was mailed prior to the deadline...but two months seems very strange indeed. In any case, thank you for rating and for your patience!
Comment: I love your beautiful envelope Sharon! You could have sent it empty and I would have given you thousand hearts if I could!!! I adore the Star Trek-postage stamps!!! And you always send the greatest German Zoo-postcards! :-*
Response: Hi Moni! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for the nice comments and I'm looking forward to swapping with you again :D
Comment: Wow!!!!! Fabulous PL! Thank-you so much:) Not only was it amazing, I learned a better way to do a couple things from the way yours was put together. Always such a pleasure having you as a partner:)
Response: Hey Sarah - Thanks for your kind comments. I'm happy you enjoyed the PL. I hadn't made one in a while, so it was especially fun to work on yours. Hope all is well.
Comment: Sharon, I hope you had a great time in SF. I love that place! I absolutely love the postcards you sent, they are all new ones for me. Thanks for the extras! Have a wonderful day! It is sunny here again and I am loving the spring weather. We have bamboo shoots up all over the place right now. Take care.
Response: Hi Beth! Wow, USPS is so much faster :) Happy you enjoyed the cards. We had a great trip - sunny every day. Something I could get used to.
Comment: Sharon, thank you so much for the great postcards and the stickers are really appreciated. We have daffodils coming up right now and decent weather so I am happy. We have had so much rain. Take care. Beth
Response: Hey Beth! I'm glad you enjoyed the envie. We've still got the rain going here, I'm sure you remember :) Hope you have a great week.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card! Such pretty handwriting and the tiniest owl sticker, this was a great one to receive. Interesting books as well, been meaning to read Mindy Kaling, didn't know she had two books out! And everyone is talking about The Girl in the Train so that's on my to be read-list as well.
Response: Hi Emma! Thank you for joining this swap and for your nice comments. I've yet to read the Girl/Train book, but might get to it in another month or so :D Happy reading to you!
Comment: Sharon, what an awesome selection of postcards! I love the Mersey Beat ad card! Thank you!
I am really hoping to visit the island in the Spring.
Take care and have a wonderful time over the holidays.
Response: Hey Beth - I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. Do let me know if you make it out this way next year! Happy hols.
Comment: Thank you Sharon for the lovely "Peace on Earth" with dove Holiday postcard you sent to me. Also, that is cute Christmas Canada postage stamp. Enjoyed reading about your holiday, me, too, I enjoy reading a book of Christmas stories. Every night I read a Christmas short story before going to sleep. Happy December!
Response: Hi K - I tried to do that once with fables, but I quit after two or three stories :D I hope you have a great holiday. Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.
Comment: It has been a while since we swapped. I've been busy moving, but I now have one hand back in the mailbox. It's always a pleasure to receive from you, and this swap is no exception. Thank you for all, especially the 007 black & white. Hugs, Joy
Response: Hi Joy - I hope you get a break next week and enjoy your new(ish) digs. Thanks for rating, and all the best to you.
Comment: Sharon you are awesome!! Thank you for the great selection of postcards.
I was born in Edmonton and I remember riding the bus up McDougall Hill Rd past the Chateau Lacombe. I love the pelicans too.
Thank you again and have a great week!! Beth
Response: haha I remember you mentioning AB. Thought the pelican one was cool and had your name on it. :)
Comment: Sharon ~ Thanks for the resend - we have finally wrapped this up! I like all the PCs you sent but especially the mailbox one and the Skagway hotel one. Thanks again and I'm glad you got the original envie back!
Response: Yay! Glad the re-send made it to you. Have a wonderful, and as warm as possible, weekend :)
Comment: Thanks so much for a wonderful pocket letter. The planner goodies are perfect and I loved the orange. I can't wait to try the tea. I haven't been to Wonder Pens, but I have checked them out online. Next time you're in Toronto, there's a little stationery shop called The Paper Place that has some nice things. Worth taking a look. Happy Swapping!
Response: Hi Kim! Thanks for your generous rating of my first ever PL :) I'm slowly getting the hang of these things, so I'm going to keep with it. I went to The Paper Place the last time I was in TO - what an amazing shop! They had so many cool specialty papers, too....drool.
Comment: Wow Sharon, thank you for the excellent postcard you sent to me for the swap! Loved the JRR Tolkien food quote, loved the Canada postage stamps, & the image on the postcard made me hungry - lovely lady cooking in her kitchen a supper fest of turkey, ham, lobster, vegetables, & bottle of champagne in background. Lovely vintage image on a PC! Happy Autumn to you!
Response: I was surprised to find a Tolkien quote about food :) and wouldn't mind coming home to a meal like the one depicted in the postcard. Hope all is well in FL!
Comment: Sharon ~ Gads, it's the middle of September already. . . soon the leaves will turn and fall! Thanks so much for the wonderful selection of PCs you sent for this swap -- they are all fantastic and I can't pick a favorite. . . oh, yes I can --- ALL OF THEM!! Thanks again and hope to see you again at the mailbox. . . yours or mine :-)
Response: Hey Gloria! I keep thinking it's the middle of July and wondering why it's so chilly. :) So glad you enjoyed the PCs - it's always a pleasure to have you as a swap partner!!
Comment: Thank you so much for these great postcards and the extra. You fit everything in my profile to a tee! I love them all! The calligraphy on the note and the envie is wonderful too! The stamps are great, and the washi tape too! I wish I could give you 5 hearts for this one! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Hey Sherry! You're very welcome, I'm happy you enjoyed the swap. Have a happy last day of August :)
Sharon, your envie literally took my breath away, thank you SO much, it really is a work of art. Everything about it is perfect, your use of washi tape,(very imaginative and I'm going to steal your technique) the postage stamps and the great rubber stamps you used. I really treasure this envie.
Thank you also for the lovely goodies, all of which I can and will use😀
Time for a few more hearts.. 💛💜💖💙💚
Response: Hey Anni - Thank you very much for rating and your kind words :) This was a fun swap. Hope we can swap again sometime!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome PCs - I can't even pick any favorites, they are all so awesome! Is the warmer than usual weather good? It's pretty hot in Ithaca, and we've had lots and lots of rain!
Response: Hi Aimee! Yay, I'm very happy you enjoyed the cards. I think most people like the warmer than usual weather, but it was getting uncomfortably toasty there, and it made for unpleasant sleep. Humid in upstate NY?
Comment: Sharon ~ I am so thrilled with the PCs you sent - I'd give you more hearts if I could! I rarely get PCs that are clever or funny like the ones you sent. . .I especially liked the operating dogs -- too funny :-) And who could resist James Dean in a car like that. . . what a handsome devil he was and boy was that car something!! Thanks for a fantastic selection . . . hugs to you and have a great week ~~
Response: Hey Gloria - I'm so glad you enjoyed the cards! I think I usually send you touristy cards, but maybe I'll try mixing things up from now on :) Oh yes, JD was def a handsome devil, wasn't he? Still, my heart belongs forever to Paul Newman.
Comment: 😠Now that's what I call a handmade envelope and surprises!!!! THANK YOU!!! A new poodle postcard, stunning labels, cards and postcards. Wow wow wow, pally!! July 1st and you made my month!!! HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
Response: Thanks for hosting; I love this one! Glad you enjoyed it, as I had fun putting it together. HAPPY 4TH!
Comment: Sharon ~ Thanks for the great PCs. Edward Hopper is one of my favorite artists. . . his work always shows the oneness or loneliness we all have at one time or another in our lives and most always have sunlight at some angle. . . and the George Harrison PC is perfect for me - he was my favorite Beatle and I had a huge crush on him when they first arrived in the US :-) Thanks again for the great PCs. . . and I loved your calligraphy - I've tried it and just could never quite 'get it' to look right!
Response: Hi Gloria! I'm really glad you enjoyed the PCs. I'm a fan of Hopper as well - and I agree with you about the "aloneness" that is so consistent in his paintings. And what luck that I sent George, and that he's actually your fave Beatle :)))) You're very kind about the 'calligraphy' - I've been having fun with it, but need lots of practice!
Comment: Sharon, I LOVE the postcards you sent for this swap. The ad cards are so awesome, I love how the postcards all fit into my profile. Thank you so much for a great swap. Have a great day!
Beth.........trying to stay dry in rainy FL.
Response: Hi Beth! It was actually roasting here today - it's like our climates are reversed :) I'm glad you liked the cards - I can't remember the ad cards now, but I'm happy you enjoyed the swap! I'll look through my collection to see if I can find more ad cards for you.
Comment: Dear Sharon ! What a wonderful selection of pc's. I really love the art cat cards and the great stamps. I'll give the stamps to a friend who's collecting cat stamps. Good idea of the Canadian post to release the stamps. Happy swapping !
Response: Happy to send to someone who loves cat art, as I do too! Thanks for rating, hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Comment: Loved the envie!!!! Thank you for the extras! Wow your typing on the stationery was perfect, I loved reading it ðŸ˜. I remember typing all my highschool papers on a Royal manual, then for college an electric. I thought typing class was so fun, I loved the sound of everyone typing 💖
Response: You're very welcome, I'm happy you enjoyed the swap. In high school, we learned how to type on the electric machines and by the time I got to uni it was word processing :D
Comment: Dear Sharon,
hi there...guess what:
Today, wow, I just received your wonderful envie with perfect neat stamps, awesome tea-bags (2x) and perfect cat-bookmark chosen - am so speechless - many thanks dear!
Response: Hi Christine! So nice to know that you enjoyed the swap. :) Have a great week.
Comment: Sharon -- Jackpot for me!! Thanks for the great PCs. . . love them all!! The one from Rapid City, SD always makes me laugh - I'm from there and this has got to be one of the worst PCs I've ever seen of any city and it's really sad because there are some beautiful places and very interesting things to see in Rapid City - whoever took the photos really was an amateur photographer or just had no 'eye' for taking touristy photos!
Response: Oh no - was that a terrible PC? I've never been to SD. I can't speak to the photographer, but I think I may know what you mean about certain touristy PCs not doing justice to the city/town. Vancouver is a great example of this...it's almost always an aerial shot (hard to tell the year of the photo that way - ha ha).
Comment: Boy did I hit the jackpot!!! It's always so funny when you get the same partner for two different swaps at the same time. . . guess it's a computer thing! I loved all the PCs you sent and hope your challenges are lifting. Thanks again for the great PCs and happy swapping ~~
Response: Hi Gloria - Yes, it was a timely coincidence :) Thanks for your kind words and for joining this swap!
Comment: Hello Sharon! Thank you for the "Happy Mail" postcard showing a cat sitting a top of a mail box. Waiting for "Mouse Mail?" My Mom loved the Haunted Railroad postage stamp, its in her collection. Happy Spring!
Response: Hey Kathy - Mouse mail sounds like it could be fun and interesting :) I'm glad mum enjoyed the stamp! Happy spring to you both.
Comment: I loooove this quote. Thank you! Putting it on my to-read list! Great postcard too. I saw that set on Amazon. Hoping D gets it for my birthday because I put it on our wishlist! Ha ha ha, how subtle! Thanks for joining!!!
Response: Yeah, that's subtlety with a capital "S". Haha! Hilarious, and I love it. Loving this book - am actually near the middle now. Thanks for hosting :)
Comment: What great PCs!! I especially liked the 'red' one - very interesting because it can be viewed in different directions and the image of what it is changes. I also loved the mirror image of Lake Shasta - always find mirror images so beautiful. . . and the 'olive pit' PC is great - really like these types of PCs. The multi-view is stunning and would love to be there and just enjoy. Thanks again my friend for a great selection of PCs. . . and have a wonderful week ~~
Response: Hi Gloria - Always lovely to be partnered with you. I'm happy you enjoyed the cards. Happy spring!
Comment: Yes, these cards are right up my alley, and I love them all, though I thought my heart was going to stop when I saw the second raccoon pc! ;oP The greeting card you sent them in is cool, too, and thanks for the extra. I got a kick out of the "Loons Live Here" on the inside, not only because Loons live here too (both human and feathered), but also because the Loon is our state bird. ;o)
Love those stamps - thanks for a great swap!
Response: haha, I like raccoons, too :D Both human and feathered loons live here, also...you are so right about that.
Comment: What a great swap!! I had fun putting it together and loved getting your packet!! I would definitely go that restaurant!!! OMG what wouldn't I want!!?? Love all the brochures - currently planning trip to BC : ) Thanks for the postcards too - beautiful!!!! xoxo Happy Easter!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it, wish you were here! Thanks for joining ;)
Comment: Sharon - I really LOVE the postcards you chose for this swap! The abandoned house, with the cows is really cool and I really like the food related postcards. So, until the Canadian Party Crasher shows up....Sincerely and Goodbye for now.....have a great day! Beth
Response: Hi Beth - I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. I always enjoy these big PC swaps. Hope you're having a great week.
Comment: Sharon, I absolutely LOVE the postcards you sent! It has made me miss the west coast so much... although I am planning on visiting the Island and Gibsons again this summer, I can't wait to smell the ocean at the BC Ferries docks. I have been to Granville Island a few time and the airport many times......I love the old buses too! Thank you so much, you deserve more hearts for this extra special package of postcards. Have an awesome day! Beth
Response: Hey there - thanks for the lovely comments and for rating! I'm happy you enjoyed the cards and that they made you think fondly of the west coast. I just wrote you a note tonight, so it'll be headed your way soon.
Comment: Sharon - Thanks so much for the great PCs. . .I especially liked the one of the mallards - took me a second to realize what they were! I also liked the covered bridges and the fish one - so colorful. We've had temps in the 20s and 30s here with days with gusty winds that really chill the air but we've had very little snow so I'm happy :-) Thanks again for the great PCs (and the extra two) and hope to see you again soon at the mailbox - yours or mine!
Response: Hi Gloria! Some of our local mountains are closing soon for ski season b/c there just hasn't been much snow. It's too bad for the skiers, but I don't mind the mild weather either :) Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
Comment: Great letter, Sharon, I found myself in agreement w/ so many things -- will respond ... as soon as I can keep awake long enough!! Seriously, I fell asleep @ the computer & this is not the 1st time. You have beautiful handwriting! Thank you!
Response: Hi Pam :) I'm with you, I almost started napping at my desk today. So happy for the existence of coffee. Hope you have a restful weekend, and thanks for joining this swap!
Comment: I love a read and yik-yak with you! Delighted you have a new job: I've done the commute thing and KNOW how it is. You're in Vancouver; where do you commute TO?? I commuted into Toronto for so many years and did "my time" as they say. Congratulations Sharon!!!! I know you'll do well! xxx Michele
Response: Hey Michele - I commute to the outer, outer burbs haha. It's all good. Thanks for the kind words, hope you have a great January.
Comment: Dear Sharon,
I receive a very sweet and perfect happy mail.
The envelop is very touchy, with my name in Hebrew. Thank you so much for spending time in creating just for me aiming so beautifully.
Your letter is a pleasure to read and all the goodies exactly what I like.
What a happy mail
I so much enjoyed it.
I wish you a very joyful time for the holly days.
Happy new year to you also.
Response: Hi Sarah! Thank you for your nice comments, I'm happy you enjoyed the swap. Hope you've been having a fun holiday season with your family.
Comment: Thank you so much for the bird-themed stickers and awesome postcards! And the holiday card as well! We are sticking around for most of the month here, trying to "nest" as a married couple a bit. I hope you stay warm and dry up north!
Response: You're welcome, thanks for rating. Yes, another very wet day here! Happy nesting holidays :D
Comment: Thank you for the long letter, the notecard and the journaling cards. I will respond to your questions next week in a private message or letter. I love to see that other people have problems with pens. Sometimes I have to change pens mid-letter. I always fell embarrassed.
Go the Canucks!! (My boys still love the postcard that you sent to them)
Response: Hey Catherine - Thanks for understanding about the pen...gah! Hope you and the boys are having a great December so far.
Comment: Thank you for a GREAT decorated envelope! I love the black and white and red with the quote on the back! And thank you for the sticky notes, too. I kind of have a smashbook, but I think it's in a similar state as yours. :-) I have bits and pieces in places that need to go in one. One day...
Response: One day sounds right for me, too. Ha ha! I'm glad you enjoyed the swap, thank you for rating :)
Comment: Funny how a card from a stone's throw away can take over a week! I loved all of the postcards, especially the Franklin Street drawing and the wrecking ball. Hope you are having a wonderful fall! Thanks!!
Response: Hi Dina, the shorter the distance, the longer it seems to take for mail to travel?! Funny thing. Glad you liked the cards. Cheers!
Comment: Hi Sharon, love your chimpanzee chef! Looks like it took over two full weeks to cross the city to get here! No postal cancellation, just a soft black pencil scribble through the stamp... This one's definitely a keeper though. Thanks muchly!
Response: Hi eepy! That chimp chef is one of my faves; I'm glad you liked it, too. Canada Post can be such a mystery...next time I'll just ask one of the pigeons downtown to fly it over to you.
Comment: Thank you Sharon for the large Holiday day card, & art postcards you sent to me. And thank you for all the Canada postage stamps of Dragonflies, moth & one of Santa Claus! All but one stamp wasn't cancelled so I will reuse them in mail art collages. Happy Holidays to you. My peace, quiet come when I return to my apt.
Response: Hi Kathryn - I'm with you, "condo sweet condo". Hope you have a lovely holiday season :)
Comment: You always send such great cards, Sharon! I'm sure you knew I'd just LOVE the John Lennon card and wow, that Pink Floyd card is really something else! Love your envies and the stamps too. Is there a Canadian stamp of Joe Sakic? If so, would you keep your eye out for one for me? Cancelled is fine. Thanks so much for another gr8 swap!
Response: Thanks Carol, I'm happy you enjoyed it. No Sakic stamp (yet!?), but it'd be wonderful to see one from Canada Post! You're a big fan? Have a great week.
Comment: Sharon, it really was your envelope waiting for me at the post office! Thank you so much for all the wonderful things you've sent! I feel like I got the better deal out of our swap ... I mean, I just sent some postcards and received all those wonderful things in return! I like all the postcards you've sent (I'm so happy about the Beluga PCs) and I'm in love with the postcard book (so many adorable harp seal pups). Of course I also like all the bookmarks, the washi tape (either these are super cheap in Canada or you're way too generous because over here they are really expensive) and I love the wooden keychain - it's cute and I really like souvenirs showing country flags :) Your wonderful envelope made my day and as I said before, if I find some more Banksy cards I'll send them to you :)
Response: Hi Chris! I'm so glad it was only two weeks and not two months :D I really enjoyed this swap, and perhaps you're underestimating how much I appreciated the postcards you sent! I hope you have a great special day next week - watch your mailbox.
Comment: You are so sweet! Obviously you read my profile and sent perfect postcards and your note was so very nice and thank you for mentioning my fur babies! Thank you for all that you sent, and I just love the Lucy one!
Response: Hey there! Haha, I was hoping you'd like the Lucy card. Hope all is well and that you have a great weekend. :)
Comment: Aww, thank you so much Sharon for your lovely notecard and the typography initials postcards :) It really was a pleasure to read your note! I also love the quote you wrote down for me! Wishing you a lovely evening, Aline
Response: Hi Aline - Thanks for your kind words. Have a great rest of week!
Comment: Wow! You made my day with Alice in Wonderland postcard! Thank you very very much! If you have any others of this theme please let me know - I'll send you anything you wish instead:) I like the rest postcards too and stickers are so lovely:)! Thank you very much!
P.S. And your envelopes always look so beautiful!
Response: Hi Viza! I'm so glad you enjoyed the swap and I'll take a look for any additional cards. Always fun to have you as a partner!
Comment: Well, as usual, you sent a great swap package. Fun mix of cards (boys in underwear LOL and vintage dog sledding). But my favorite by far was the "Pond Life" drawing. I am starting to get a nice little collection of Puffin cards. Thanks for using some gorgeous Canadian postage stamps too. :) <3<3<3
Response: Hi Dobes - Always fun to be swap partners with you! Wishing you a peaceful (Canadian) Remembrance Day. Hope all is well.
Comment: Oh yes, "B" is for Black Bear! And that is a really big Black Bear on the postcard you sent to me for the swap! We do have black bears all the way down here in Florida. Though most live in the National Forests, preserved areas, during spring - summer the bears wander into populated areas. Yes, I had a wonderful Halloween, we had a marvelous cool down & I went out without having to wear a pollen mask. Florida is now into "Autumn," & I can go out more often.
Response: I'm so glad to hear that the weather has been more comfortable for you. Hope you had some fun adventures :)
Comment: That postcard is so true! I'd have to read non-stop for 20 years to catch up on my books, ha ha! I like your book choices - and I hope to get a lot of reading in this winter too. But I just KNOW it's going to be mild, so if I don't, it's ok (ha ha ha ha!) Great swap, great host! : )
Response: Here's hoping we both read a lot this winter! Thanks for joining, hostess with the mostest.
Comment: Thank you for all of the awesome cards Sharon!!! LOVE the books and the "Righteous" card, and most of all, the CRAZY pigeon cards. The one with the super long legs is still making me giggle. =)
Response: Hi Rosei - I'm so glad you enjoyed the cards :) I never realized pigeons could look so crazy, until I came across these photos. We only have the 'regular' grey ones here haha. Thanks for joining!
Comment: Thanks, Sharon, for your Puffin Avalanche card! I'm not likely to get anywhere near an avalanche 'cuz I don't do snow!! That's why I moved to Vancouver. Thanks too for the postage, I had not yet seen that wonderful stamp... picked some up at the PO this afternoon. (Sorry Sharon, I wrote this up a long time ago, and forgot to hit save!!! Good thing the Bot sends us these little reminders...)
Response: Hi eepy! Not too much snow for me, either :) CP issued some 11/11 PCs that match the stamps, not sure if your local PO had them...they're pretty nice! (No worries, you did hit save!)
Comment: Thank you! This was an awesome swap! The Halloween card was so funny! The postcards are perfect for my collection. And thank you for the stickers and bookmarks. I was thrilled when I got this out of the mailbox. The stamps are absolutely awesome! I am crazy about them! Thank you so much for using them! Have A Happy Halloween! :)
Response: Hello! Those stamps are pretty fun, I agree. I hope they'll still be available after 10/31. Happy you enjoyed the swap, and thank you for rating!
Comment: Your mail in my mailbox always make me smile :-) thank you so much for the wonderful card. The labels are absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you! (If you write either the Nethelands or Nederland on my mail that is sufficiant, not both). Thanks Sharon!
Response: Hi Kirsty - Well, I think that's a record: 4 days from Canada to The Netherlands! Wow. Thanks for hosting this fun swap :D Happy weekend to all of you.
Comment: Hello Sharon! Wow, incredible large Zentangled envelope you sent to me for the swap! Thank you for the extras you sent to me & your letter, best is your pen work - Zentangles - on the envelope! The Artist's Handbook is an Artist's Must Have, a book I will refer to when ever I have a question about how to do a particular art technique, art medium, art supply, etc. The handbook is continually updated, so best to see the most current edition. Fun swap!
Response: Hi Whippet! Yes, this was indeed a fun swap :) Thanks for the book suggestion(s) - love really good reference books, and always welcome new ones. Have a great week.
Comment: Thanks for the great PCs! I, too, love the swaps that Susan heads up - she does such a great job. Congrats on winning the WTA - it's always fun to be a winner!! Thanks again for the great PCs and hope to 'see' you soon at the mailbox - yours or mine :-)
Response: Hey Gloria! Always fun to swap with you. Hope you're having a great weekend!
Comment: Thank you so much for ALL the beautiful pc's you've included!! They are all gorgeous :-) and the envelope (dark blue with white hearts) to me very unusual but gorgeous paper. Thank you for this mail treasure!! I love it :-)
Response: Hi Kirsty! I'm happy you enjoyed the swap :) Hope you and your family are having a lovely weekend.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I love the hawk. I agree that there are so many things to be grateful for, especially living in a peaceful country. My boys are doing well in their studies, They are enjoying the end of the winter football season and the start of the summer cricket season. There are players trades and team selections to talk about. (Not that I know much about sport.)
Response: Hi Catherine - Glad to hear the boys are doing well and that there's more than enough sport chatter to keep them happy! Thanks for joining this swap. And, did you say the words "start of the summer..."? :) Congrats! Oh, I almost forgot - tell the boys to have a happy hockey watching season, starting soon!!
Comment: Fabulous envelope!!!! I love the maple leaf paper. And just stop it with the Martin Short and Mike Myers stamps. OMG. The museum stamp is awesome too. What a lovely surprise inside!! Such beautiful, textured paper! And stickers. You're the best!! Thank you!!!!!
Response: Yay! I didn't think the 12x12 paper was big enough, but...phew. Ha ha. Happy mail day to you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful card, i loved your conversation about the weather, i do believe we experience much of the same. I have never in my life seen a matching card plus pre-stamped envelope, very nice!!!! I love the enclosures as well!!! Thank you ever so much :-)
Response: Hi Kirsty! Oh, the weather! How much more exciting does it get than that? Ha ha. Thank you hosting this fun swap :)
Comment: Thanks for the great donkey foal postcard. The foal looks so cute and cuddly. When you have finished with summer please send it down to me as I am tired of the cold, wet winter here in Australia. The stamps on the postcard were not cancelled, so I can admire their beauty.
Response: Hi Catherine! That guy is cutie, I agree. Doubt it's any consolation, but it'll be cold here soon enough...Hope all is well w/ you and yours.
Comment: Your "coolest kids" comment had me laughing out loud, but even better than that, is the fact that two of the people in this swap rec'd that VERY same Adrian Tomine pc... I sent it to Susan! Great minds, right? Or, is it great postcards? You make the call, but either way, thank you SO much!♥ï¸Kris
Response: Great minds who have great taste in great postcards. Lots of greatness, you see. :D Thanks for being a seriously cool kid! xo
Comment: thanks for the nice envelope and the goodies inside! I will use the card and envie for a swap one of these days, and the little journal cards/rolodex cards will make it onto envies for address labels!
Response: Hello! It's great that you can use the items. It never occurred to me to use those cards as addy labels - great idea! :)
Comment: What an excellent idea for a washi tape PC. Now that you have tackled the "log cabin" in tape, you will find it easy to do in fabric! Thanks for the awesome stamps too! Everything is gorgeous green here right now. The otters and whales have been busy in front of our house. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Hi Sherry! One of these days I'll get to that quilt pattern :D It might be another decade or so. It sounds so beautiful where you are (can you tell I'm envious?)
Comment: Hello Sharon thank you so much for the great postcards, they are all so beautiful and very well chosen! :D
My cats get along quite well, the calico was a stray cat for 13 years and lives with me since 2 years. Slowly she got used to live in a house with humans but she still feels most comfortable with other cats and the ginger boy is such a sweetheart, to her and to me and other humans. :)
Response: Happy you enjoyed the cards; thanks for joining! Your kitties sound very sweet :)
Comment: I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is a problem with the swap you sent. It's too wonderful! Thanks for all the fun goodies! My dog loves the "Good Dog" stickers. She's wearing one on her forehead now. :-) I love your envelopes! You actually have grown-up stamps! (My poor partner is getting something much more juvenile.) I also appreciate your chatty note. Very fun! Thank you!
Response: Hahaha! I hope the forehead sticker encourages her to get past the driveway :D Happy you enjoyed the envie. This was a fun swap!
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful postcards -- the Washington ones are different than most I've seen; I love them! (Loved the greeting card, too!) Hope you're enjoying "The Shield" (I miss that show! ;>).
Response: You're very welcome. I finally finished the whole series. It took quite some time, but it was well worth it :)
Comment: Sharon, I'm soooo glad with your package! It started with the nice handmade enveloppe ... and then I opened it: lovely beautiful booklet! You did a great job, gave me sucha nice impression of your neighbourhood, you showed me love, thanks so much! :)
Response: Hi Leen - I'm happy you enjoyed it; this swap was really fun, and it got me out of the house on that particular afternoon :) Hope you're doing well.
Comment: I need to find this way to super-inspired living! Thanks for a great card and thanks so much for the amazing envelope as well -- loved it! I hope that this turns out to be a fun swap for you as well :)
Response: Haha, I need to find this way, too :D Thanks very much for hosting this fun swap - hope you'll do it again! Cheers.
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful envelope!! I love it, and I'm going to use your rubberstamping idea for my snail-mail :-)
Thank you also for the lovely message and enclosures. Enjoy your break. I hope to be swapping with you again soon, take care!
Response: Hi Kirsty - I'm happy you enjoyed the envie. Thank YOU very much for hosting :) See you around soon.
Comment: Thanks for the fantastic package that arrived today in the mail. My daughter will love the thank you cards & the stamps are perfect - I prefer them uncancelled anyway. The package was worth 2 hearts.
Response: Hi Maxine - I'm glad your daughter can use the cards :) Thanks for the feedback about the flat envie swaps - keep an eye out for #8!
Comment: Okay, this envelope has already been added into my journal because I love how you stamped the outside. The card you made is fantastic, (love how you added "keep cool" at the end) and I especially love the note inside done on a typewriter (!!!!) AND a bonus letterpress card?! I feel so lucky that I got you as a partner. Thank you Sharon!
Response: Thanks Shelley! This was a fun swap and I'm glad you liked it. Hope you're still drawing - "keep cool" ;)
Comment: Oh wow I love everything about this swap! Great presentation and I love everything you sent, it's just perfect! Spring is finally in full swing here in NB, we're about a month behind and trees are flowers are just starting to bud! Hope to swap with you again soon :)
Response: Hi Kat - I'm happy you enjoyed it :) Spring sounds lovely where you are. Yes, hope we swap again also.
Comment: Thanks so much for the zine (now i feel nosy)...and thanks for the tea. It is one of my favourites!! I buy it loose at Superstore and have it nearly every day. And I do love to have wrapped bags to have in my purse...so much easier than loose. i am looking forward to consuming it:) I love Daiso and go there every time I'm in Vancouver. I've been know to drop $200. I love their stationery sets and bento section:)
Response: 200 bucks in a single drop at Daiso? You should call me next time, and I can meet you there :D Hope you enjoy the tea.
Comment: Love the bears and the stamps you used!! I had to laugh at the thought of a baby nutria. Now I'm curious to see what they look like! lol I haven't really been working on any crafts, just trying to grow some flowers - we'll see!! :) Have a great week!
Response: Hi whimsey - Thanks for hosting this fun swap! I Googled images for baby nutria, and what do you know? They're pretty cute :)
Comment: Fab envelope and stamps!! (As usual!) love the postcards!!! Yay! The Garry Winogrand is great, giraffes, owl, book cover, stamps, airplane windows... Etc. All super!! Thank you - you're a great host and partner! : )
Response: I'm glad you liked the envie and cards :) That wanderlust pc makes me want to go somewhere - where do you want to go???
Comment: Thanks for the great postcards and the extra. I love lighthouse postcards. I did not have them and they will add nicely to my collection. Also, thanks for the map of the San Juan Islands. I have been wanting to go there for a long time. Have a great week, Linda
Response: Hi Linda - I'm glad the cards were new ones for you. Yeah, the SJs are beautiful - wish I was there now ;) Hope you make it there one day.
Comment: Total Happy Mail Day for me on this Earth Day!! : ) I enjoyed your letter. You'll hear back from me soon. Albert the Squirrel. YES. I hadn't seen those dog stickers. The poodle reminds me of Daphs with long ears!! : ) Adorable note cards and postcards. You're a star!!!!! Thank you so much!! Your swaps are the best!!!!!! xo
Response: Well, Happy Earth Day to you! You are a star for joining my silly swap :D It makes me happy that you enjoyed it. Animals in clothes...yeeessssssss.
Comment: What a fun idea for a swap - and I love your note (so creative!!) and all the fantastic goodies you sent. Stellar. Thank you!!!! I'll be smiling all day. No, all week. Did you make those perfect envelopes?!?!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the swap, and thank you for joining! Re the envies, I've given up on the whole integrity thing...(wink). I wish I could use emoji on here. (PS - yes, I made the envies but they're hardly perfect LOL)
Comment: I loved your zine! It was a very enjoyable read and I always find something new from your artistic style that I want to imitate! ;) Thanks so much for sharing your travel memories and the extra goodies! :)

Response: Ha ha! My pleasure, Tinker. Hope you're doing well :D
Comment: Hi Sharon! A thousand hearts for the Aquarupella card you sent and how you decorated it! It's just perfect. If you're asking who my favourite French author is, it'd have to be Dany Laferrière. Oh and I must ask, where do you buy your Aquarupella cards? They seem so hard to find in Canada!
Response: Hi Kat :) I'm happy you enjoyed it - thank you for hosting! There are a few places here that carry some A. cards. The one I sent you is from Postallove.com. They offer some nice ones. I haven't read any Laferriere, but then again I haven't read in French in YEARS.
Comment: Thanks for such an awesome swap!! I love the brochure! Looks so tranquil! The notecards, stickers, and PCs... all perfect choices for me! :) Crazy good mail from you today!! Hope you're having a great start to the week! Hugs, Joy
Response: Hello! I'm happy you had a good mail day :) I picked up some new brochures on the Seattle trip, and will mail those out to you with the next zine issue. Haha - we have issues now. Have a terrific week. Thanks for joining!
Comment: Floored by this swap!! Loved everything from the envelope/stamps to all the contents! Did you make all the folders yourself?! Swaps like this are few and far between. REALLY made my day! Thank-you:) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Response: Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :D I made the large folder, but the smaller red ones with tabs I found at Paper Source a while back. I didn't know what I was going to do with them at the time of purchase (bad shopping habit?), but it looks like I've found a use for them! Ha! Have a great week.
Comment: Thanks so much for the happy mail. I love the way you decorated the envelope and I'm excited to use all the supplies - the owl washi tape is fantastic - can't wait! :) Good luck with your smashing - it's hard to get started, but I find once I do, I don't want to stop. Happy Swapping!
Response: Hi Kim - I'm happy you enjoyed it. I still haven't started the red doodle book, but suppose I'll get to it eventually ;) Have a great weekend.
Comment: Thank you so much for your lovely letter. Everything about this envelope made me smile, from the washi tape on the envelope to the little hello tags and the adorable hedgehog labels. Thank you!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for rating and have a great weekend!
Comment: Thanks so much, Sharon. You pick the best cards! Hard to choose a favourite in this batch... the little white cat in the doorway, or maybe the B&W view of the Golden Gate Bridge... I like 'em all!
Response: Yay! My pleasure, any time. Oh and btw, I've got some tree PCs for you - will put them in the mail soon. Cheers!
Comment: Thank-you for the lovely swap. We had a few of the same answers but your little book smelled pretty and mine will just smell like paper lol! Thank-you also for your kind words, really makes the day better to receive a swap like yours in the mail at the end of a day! Funny story about the earring in the photo, I did not make them, had them as an 'inspiration photo' and then in a small (but impossibly) big world moment found a pair in a tiny shop in Buenos Airies! Oh and I'm totally in love with my typewriter, I considered putting it on my list but realized that in the overall scheme of things it is replaceable (although hopefully I'll be happily typing away for years to come!)
Response: Hi there! I'm really glad you enjoyed the swap. And thank you again for being the only participant :D I love serendipitous moments like the one of finding those earrings in Buenos Aires. Very cool! Hope you're having a good week and that we'll meet up again in another swap. Cheers.
Comment: Thankyou very much Sharon for the super assortment of stickers I really do like them all,ta also for the little extras and for using such great postage on the nice spotty envelope aswell, hope that you are keeping well, Carol :)
Response: Hi Carol :) Happy that the spotted envie made it to you in one piece and that you enjoyed the stickers - haha. I am well, thank you. Hope you are, too!
Comment: Thank you for the Day of the Dead postcard - always a treat - from Poland(?) and your lovely note about a wonderful woman. A movement inspired me, and leaders of the movement like Gloria Steinem. I wanted to study math and science and was happy to hear women say I could do anything I wanted.
Response: I hope you did end up studying math and science! When I was at uni, there were still way more men in compsci and engineering, but I think that has since evened out some. The PC is from a Polish PC company called Postallove.com; they have some really cool poster art PCs. Thanks for joining this swap :)
Comment: Thanks once again for a flawless, perfect selection of tourist PCs and the extra dog PC - love it. The California WEED license plate tag makes me chuckle! (Sorry about rating late - your envie got stuck in with some magazines.)
Response: No worries, that happens. Hope you had a nice weekend. Thanks for joining this swap!
Comment: Hi Sharon, Great stuff from you for this swap... as usual! Love them all but my favourite of this batch is the train card... 'cuz I practically grew up on the CNR!
Special thanks for the Lawren Harris, and for the Regional Assembly of Text PC... Haven't been there in a long time... I've spent a fortune in that shop over the years! I think I'll have to do a Main Street walk soon.
Response: Hi eepy - You took the train often as a kid? I'd love to go cross country one day :) And stop a million times for PCs, of course. Ah yes, Main St is always calling...love it around there. Hey, thanks for joining this swap!
Comment: WoW and WoW, thank you so rexypants. I love the Native P.C's and also the quilt ones. Can we swap for more native ones.please.
1,000 hearts to you dear one. hugs from me and Mabel. Also the map card of BC. your packet was just so filled with respect and love. hugs.
Response: Hi Kayenderes - Thank you for the nice comments and I'm so happy you enjoyed the swap :) Hope you and wee Mabel are keeping well. I'd love to swap some cards with you!
Comment: ALWAYS great to hear from you! Thanks so much for such an awesome parcel! I love the cards you chose and the HUGE stamp on the envie! And a big hug for the cougar DYK card... that one's new for my collection! :)
Response: Hey Joy - I'm glad the cougar was a new one for you. Do you have a big DYK collection? Thanks for rating, and for joining this swap. See you again soon ;)
Comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you for the awesome postcards and the letter! Your cross stitch Ryan Gosling sounds very ambitious - I know better to stick to the smaller pictures now, as there's a better chance I will finish them!
Response: Hello! Thanks for your nice comments; I'm happy you enjoyed the swap. I should clarify the RG x-stitch - it's pretty small and only uses black floss. It def isn't one of those ones that look life-like...that would take me a million years to finish ;) Hope all is well where you are.
Comment: Thankyou very much Sharon, I do like gardening and I thought your choice of postcards was marvellous. Ta also for your nice note, pretty envelope, air mail labels and super Chinese New Year stamp and yes I did indeed have a fun filled holiday, I got lot's of super UNESCO pc's :)
Response: Thanks Carol, I'm happy you enjoyed the swap and that you guys had a fun holiday! Yay for postcards, too :)
Comment: Thanks for this great swap! I love your "FUN" choices! I kinda hated to open up the envie, because it was so beautiful and the stamps were great too! We too had neighbors with fireworks. We were having monsoon rains so they were very brief, but fun. Hope your new year of swapping is going well! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Hi Sherry, it's great to hear from you! I'm so glad to learn that you are back home and hope that you are doing well. Jan went quickly and there's one more month before domestic postage rates go up ;) Thanks for joining this swap, and for rating. Take care.
Comment: Thanks for the great set of postcards. The peacock is gorgeous and I appreciate all the Native American artworks. And you used great postage stamps -- the dragonfly is my all-time favorite! <3<3<3
Response: Hi Michele - Let me know if you'd like more of those dragonflies for a project :) Thanks for joining this swap, and for rating. I'm happy you liked the cards.
Comment: The ratings box glitch has gone this morning! It has all smoothed out now overnight thankfully. Thankyou for the beautiful postcards, Sharon. I love each and every one of them. I apologize for the glitch in the system. Looking forward to our next link-up, whenever that may be. :)
Response: Hi Jenny - I'm glad the issue resolved itself; I was really starting to wonder :) Thanks for joining this swap - hope to see you in another one, soon.
Comment: Hi Sharon, love your cards for this swap! My favourite is actually that Riverwalk card from San Antonio, TX.
It looks like such a pretty walk, except it'd probably be wall to wall people!
I don't do crowds, and I think maybe the one time I was in TX was enough!
Sure does look nice though...
Response: Hi eepy - Glad you enjoyed the cards. Where were you in TX? I've never been to SA, but heard it's quite pretty. Have a great week. (Thanks for joining this swap!)
Comment: Sharon ~ Once again you've sent great PCs! I love the car fender one - love these types of PCs! And I just love the harp seal. . . they are just too beautiful. Thanks again for the great PCs and happy swapping ~~
Response: Hey Tinker! It's always a pleasure swapping with you. Hope all is well.
Comment: Hi Rexy -- my very, very favourite PC is the Whistler bears! Thank you! it's always fun to commiserate too with a fellow Canadian about our obscene postal rates! What are they thinkin'????? Even my postal peeps at the post office say it's ruthless and unconscionable. :-( By the way L O V E the notecard and envelope!
Response: Hi Kerry - The ultimate high loss of CP jobs is also really sad. Hope you are having a great mail week. Thanks for rating!
Comment: OK, really cool feather paper. Then the postcards!! Oy! And which to send, no pressure, right?!?! I love that cracker with a bite taken from it, ha ha ha! Your postcard will go back out in a day or two...! Thank you!!!!!!!
Response: Haha! Seriously, no pressure :) Glad you like the cracker - wasn't sure if I'd sent that one before.
Comment: What fantastic PCs! Thank you so very much. The Fraser River and Othello Quintette Tunnels ones are so beautiful and they must be spectacular to see. . . and the B&W of the Roosville Cash Store (and post office) really shows how tough it was back then - imagine living that way today! And who doesn't love Elvis. . he's been my favorite since I was a little girl. Thanks so very much for the great PCs. . . and have a very Happy New Year!
Response: Hi Gloria - I'm happy you liked the cards. I hope you had a lovely Christmas with your family and friends. Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best for 2014.
Comment: Thank you very much for the great selection of cards from my wishlist!! I am always amazed when anyone can find a new Bob Marley card for me, and you also found a new Che Guevara!! The Mark Ryden cards are gorgeous as well, I truly love his work! Thank you so much for the happy mail :)
Response: Woo hoo! I'm glad you liked the cards and that they were new ones for you. Love Ryden, also. So creepy, yet cute.
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcards. I love Seattle and am just starting to collect "facts" cards so that is a great choice. And you already know how I feel about the frogs + Tlingit ART combination! :) And thanks again for using those beautiful postage stamps. I've been wanting some dragonfly ones to use in artwork and now I have a nice little stash of them. <3<3<3
Response: That's great, glad you can use the stamps in your art :) Happy you enjoyed the swap, too. Happy holidays to you.
Comment: WOW!! first of all, I love the way that you decorate the envelope!! Thank you for that!!
Te cards are perfect and also the bonus one of Did You Know. No, I do not have that one..Anytime, feel free to include one in the swap when you have me as a partner...anita
Response: Hi Anita - I'm glad that DYK was new for you :) Hope you're having a nice Dec so far.
Comment: Well, my friend is in Jamaica for the next week, but he was more than happy to tell me that while he lounges on a beach, your swap (and probably one other) are lounging on his countertop! I lied and told him that the weather in Minnesota is amazing right now... ;)
Response: Haha! Niiiiiiiiiice. Your response to him was more than appropriate. Nicely played, nicely played...
Comment: Wait. How is it that every swap I get is better than the last one...yet the last one was amaza-fab??!?!?!?!? Girl, how do you do it? I will post back the boxing sailors to you! Woo!!!! Thanks for all the postcards!!!!!!!!
Response: You're very welcome, toots. Thanks for sending back the boxing sailors; I really like that one :D Hope you're having a good night.
Comment: Thank you for the 5 wonderful postcards -my goodness, they are all fantabulous. (Pretty sure that's not a word but I can't express my joy in English any better than that!) The new animal ones you found are amazing. Love the book covers, love bunnies!!!, cows, woodland animals... It's as if you know me. Thank you for hosting a great swap - and sending me great postcards!!!! â¤
Response: Parker Posey used 'fantabulous' in the movie Party Girl, so that makes it a real word :D I`m glad you enjoyed the cards - thanks for joining!
Comment: Thank you Sharon for your lovely postcard and the words you shared with me :) It is one of those postcards I really treasure so much because you really made an effort to tell me something. HEART <3 Sending you my kindest greetings, Aline
Response: Hi Aline! Thanks for taking the time to rate and for leaving such a nice message. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the fall :)

Comment: Thank you for choosing this special card for me. I did wonder about it when I took it out of my letterbox. Once I read the message it is very suitable. The stamps were enjoyed by my boys. One of them is a Canucks fan so you could not have chosen better.
It is a sunny Friday so I am feeling GREAT today. Thanks for your wishes and I hope that your mum remains well.
Response: I'm happy you enjoyed the card, and VERY happy that you are having a great Friday :) Wishing you only the best. Cheers.

Comment: Ah, mi amiga, how good to have another swap from you. Thanks for the cool selection of cards, the lovely envie & great stamps. (I'd love to get my hands on the deranged postal employee(s) who feel it necessary to slash through the postage with big marking pen X's though). Your shop of recyclable stuff sounds like a great place for serendititous finds. Thanks for sharing the photo.
Response: I know, right?! I think there's an international gang of postage slashers - they and their extra-wide Sharpies seem very well organized...happy you enjoyed the swap. :)
Comment: Hello Sharon, Thank you for a great selection of cards..love the mail art!!!!! Anytime you would like to send more "Did you know?" cards, I would love them..Just next time that you get me as a partner will be fine.

Finally your nice note & the great variety of postcards -- I think my favorite was the Alfred Hitchcock -- so unexpected but of course, the vintage one is special, too. I like all of them. Thanks for such a wonderful swap!
Response: Hi Pam - I'm glad you enjoyed the cards and the older stamps. There's something to be said for the new stamps that have adhesive on the back ;) Thank you for swapping!

Comment: Thank you! Thank you for the wonderful postcards.. I love the light house postcards, especially Cape Disapointment. It looks so like its name. We have the same deer as you do down here-tiny. We can't get used to them because they all look like baby deer compared to what we had in Massachusetts. Thank you again, Shirley
Response: Hi Shirley - Thank you for your comments and rating. I agree about the look of Cape Disappointment! :) Have a lovely week.
Comment: Hello Sharon, I am in awe that you sent me so many train related cards and that they all fitted the swap description so cleverly! Thankyou very much for all of the marvellous postcards and I like the postage stamps you used too. I do hope that you are keeping well also, Carol :)
Response: Hi Carol - Very happy you enjoyed the swap :) That sign in Portland is one the endless fun sights in the city. Cheers!
Comment: Thanks very much for the envelopes of washi tape and postcards AND the interesting letter. Wow, no rain for a month in Van?? Hard to believe. My sister lives there - she must be so happy. Last year the dismal weather was really getting her down. I lived in Hope for many years and got sick of the rain, too. Calgary must be getting the rain usually reserved for the west coast! We weren't affected personally by the flooding here, but it certainly made a mess for some. Yes, I've travelled around a bit. My profile pic is in Newfoundland - see the iceberg in the background? lol, I know, it's pretty small.
Response: Glad you were safe from the floods - it looked really terrible on the news. Hmm...I can`t see the iceberg but I do see a really cute newborn. :)
Seriously, these made my day. I don't know why I didn't find this envelope sooner. I saw it come in with the mail, and then that was it. I just opened it, and these postcards are great. I can't pick a favorite :)
Response: Hi Stephanie - happy you liked them. Have a great week :)
Comment: Thanks for a wonderful swap! The envelope was so nice -- from the great stamps, OMG the tragically hip stamp! -- and the haremail post rubber stamp! The postcards are all very much "me". Loved it!

Comment: How do I say thanks? What an awesome package of trains! I love them all. I've been to Kamloops and the Forest Museum at Duncan. We also saw both the Thompson and Kicking Horse rivers. What a wonderful reminder of my visit to BC! Thank you so much! â¤â¤â¤
Response: That you liked it is thanks enough :) I think you have seen more of BC than I have. Actually, I know you have! Hope you're having a nice weekend.
Comment: Thanks for the great PCs. . . I don't know what happened to your rating because I did rate you but guess I failed to save it - my apologies! Anyway, I loved the PCs. . . and aren't the scavenger hunts fun?!?!?

Response: Hello - I'm happy you enjoyed them and appreciative that you joined this swap! Agreed, Marlene just had...something. :) Happy weekend to you.
Comment: What a wonderful selection of PCs!! I love them all!! The Seattle Space Needles ones are great especially the postage stamp one. . . and the EMP is fabulous - I went there when it first opened in 2000 and loved it!! Thanks again for the great selection and hope to see you again at the mailbox (yours or mine) ~~ happy swapping
Response: Hi Gloria - I think I'm just going to start putting cards aside for you :D It sounds like you have travelled a lot. Finally stopped at the EMP again last year - it has been expanded to include sci-fi and pop culture. We raided the place for postcards...Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Response: Thanks for being the hostess with the mostest! You know, I'm not crazy about the cardstock used for those Sibley cards, but the illustrations are gorge.
Comment: Sharon - I always love getting mail from you ;-) You once again sent a wonderful selection of PCs. . the Greyhound bus brings back memories for me when I was a kid and rode the bus to stay with my grandmother - she only lived 50 miles away but I felt like I was so grown up to take that bus all alone!! I also love the waterfalls - they are so beautiful and I never tire of seeing one. The Pikes Place Market is very interesting to see the 'then' and 'now' - how things change! And the thunderbird art PC is stunning! Thanks again for the wonderful PCs and hope to see you again soon ~~
Response: That's good, because I always enjoy sending to you :) That Greyhound made me laugh - you could fit a dance floor inside...
Comment: Thank you for choosing the perfect cards for me. What a fantastic selection. Charlie AND Che ~ be still my heart! Your envelope, stickers & stamps were great too. So glad you hosted the swap & that I had the luck to have you as my partner.
Response: Awww, shucks. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thank you for joining this swap! Hope to meet up with you again.
Comment: Boy, you could not have picked any 3 postcards that I love. Gone With the Wind, lighthouses and of course the high kicking grannie(too funny) I used to be able to kick like that, but definitely not any more. I wouldn't even try, for fear of falling and hitting my noggin. Don't have many brains up there now, so I can't afford to loose any. Thank you again, Shirley
Response: Hahahaha!! Btw, I can't kick like that anymore, either...
Comment: Sharon ~ Thanks for the great PCs. . . and the address labels ;-) That was so very thoughtful of you!! Thanks again and I'm sure I'll see you again at the mailbox. . . yours or mine! Have a great week ~~
Response: You're welcome. You'll be seeing me again really soon, as I've just sent you another swap - haha! :P
Comment: Thank you so very much for the beautifully put together Wanderlust swap package! I loved all of it..the pcs, (CPR!) the stamps, the bird postage stamp, and your thoughtful note. It really made my day brighter!

Comment: Wow, what great postcards!!! Thank you thank you thank you! Warped Tour is at the Gorge every year and I've heard nothing but great things about it...so much that I toyed with the idea of taking a trip out there a couple of years ago to see Warped Tour there :)
Response: Really happy you liked the pcs. The Gorge - worth the trip. Don't forget to bring a tent and some wet wipes! ;)
Comment: Isn't it interesting that you just never know what kind of swap will come up to use different stamps?!? I love the PC - I've been to Chinatowns in several cities in the US and always loved the gates. Thanks for the beautiful PC. . . and the great stamp!! Happy swapping ~~
Response: You're very welcome - hope to swap with you again in the future :)
Comment: I love them all!!! Thank you so very much for the great selection of PCs for this swap ;-) Each one 'speaks' to me in some way - love squirrels, love Elvis, love covered bridges and love still life (especially cheeses, fruit and drink!) -- thanks again!!

Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the cards. Pulp cards rock :) Have a happy bday later this month! Cheers.
Comment: loved, LoVeD, LOVED EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! I wish you could send me Sunday mail EVERY week :) I especially like the "hush hush" item which will be going in the car with me today. Comment: Hi Sharon, Thank you so very much for the postcards, and especially the one of Julie Andrews. When it first debuted way back in the '60's, My family took me to the Premiere. I was living in FL at the time. For that time on, I, too, fell in love with the movie, and watched it every time that it was on TV and then my son bought me the Special DVD Edition, so that I would always have it. So thrilled that your children are cultured and enjoy such wonderful entertainment. anita
Response: Thanks Anita, I'm happy you enjoyed the cards. How cool is it that you went to see the premiere!?
Comment: Ha ha! Your commentary made it exciting!!! I was thinking the bear looks clueless and the eagle looks pissed...what up, Wayne?!!! Umm, coolest rubber stamp ever, Canadian!! Thanks as always - you rule, lady!
Response: Your assessment of the bear and eagle sounds about right (feel free to read btw the political lines on that one:) So, thanks Wayne! Anything wrong from this point on will be Wayne's fault.
Comment: I loved the black and white kitty on this PC! My cat never liked his belly scratched. That's the position he fought in, so that was a big no no! Thanks, friend. I always love your postcards you send.
Response: Glad u liked it, brat! My cat hated it too :) I have the scars to prove it! Your Sunday mail is on its way...
Comment: What a great selection of PCs!!! I love the fairy and it goes in my collection. . . and there's nothing better than Butch and Sundance! The art card is always a welcome PC for me as I do love art, and the one of Seattle is so perfect ~ my friend lives in Seattle and everytime I talk to her and ask about the weather it matches the PC! Thanks again ~~
Response: Hi Tinker, you are most welcome for the cards. Butch and Sundance forever :)
Comment: Thanks Sharon, I didn't know about Inukshuk before so I really love this PC! I've been to Schotland for a few days in spring and looking forward to my holiday trip to Illinois in October! Have a great day!
Comment: That PC is hilarious! These people definitely look WHACK!!!!!! I love the brown paper bag idea, for sure! :) I wrote my "mentee" on July 18, but haven't heard back from her yet :( I hope to hear soon. *sniff* Thanks for the great PC as always!!!!!!
Response: You oughta "whack" that mail carrier for doing that to your mail!! Ok, not mobster "whack". I just watched Goodfellas for the 5th time.
Comment: This is funny because I also chose to send magnets for this swap :) I also have a postcard with the "Remember when life sucks" motto. LOVE IT. Thanks for the treats! My fridge (and I) am happy! :) PS. summer has been wonderfully hot, humid, stormy and sunny :)
Response: That's 'cause great minds think alike ;) Haven't seen the postcard - cool!
Comment: I loved that owl note card!!! Also, all the cards and the sticker sheet was great! I have to give that postcard to my daughter though. Those are exactly the types of pastries she wants to make!!! She will really like it. I hope you don't mind if I pass it along to her! Thanks for the extras and I could never get sick of you :) I saw "In The Cut" by the way... that was before Meg screwed up her face with plastic surgery. I thought the one "scene" was kinda hot myself. :P
Response: LOL, I had sent the pc with your girl in mind :) Does she like postcards, too?
Comment: Yay for a Simpson's card! Ya my mini trip was fun. Every year my mom rents condos/cabins for all the kids and we take a family trip. This year was the lake, I got so fried playing out in the water. Thanks for the PC!
Response: Sounds like a great tradition and a good time (aloe?). Thanks for rating!
Comment: One word: AWESOME!!! LOVE the postcards you sent me Sharon!!! :-) I just watched Infernal affairs a few weeks ago. Did you ever see "Running out of time"? It's a great Andy Lau-movie!!! Most of the movies I have on DVD with him are in chinese with english subtitles. Hehe.
PS: Thank you so much for the lovely birthday-card and wishes too! :-)
Response: Oooh. I haven't seen that one, so thx for the recommendation! Did you see the Scorcese remake "The Departed"? What did you think of it? I hope you had a great bday :D
Comment: Thank you so much, Sharon! I love everything about it... I've just run out of room in my last "daily" and this will be an excellent replacement. I carry the "daily" around with me at all times for notes to self, and good ideas, and to do lists and dreams.. just everything.
I like the Sexsmith quote too, very true.
I hear the latest thing in the postal strike is that they're going to only deliver mail three days a week. Poop!
Response: Hi - I'm glad you liked it and will be able to use it as well! I like the idea of keeping a daily...maybe a thinner book would help me be more consistent. Poop is right!! Not only re the mail, but the last two C vs B games as well. That would make it triple poop. Really hoping it won't be a quad poop on Fri :)
Comment: Thanks for the card and extra, so nice of you. It has warmed up In NY but we are still having rain and clouds. I've been teaching for 34 yearrs. how did that happen? I'm retiring in June and after a day like today I need to.It was a horrible day from morning to afternoon.
Response: Happy upcoming retirement to you! Who's jealous? Moi?? :)
Comment: I love Central Park! I'll be in NYC in two weeks and can't wait! Yes, Millbrae is nice. Next time I'll try one of the Chinese restaurants. Recommendations? Thank you for the great PC! have a great evening! laura

Comment: Thanks So much for the joyful PC of the girl on the carnival swing & the Moreau quote. It sounds like a lively time to be a Canadian! I've been carrying around an addressed envelope to you forever. One of these days I'll write something in it & send it off. Hopefully sooner than later. Take care & be joyful. ;)
Response: Haha! Lively or crazy, difficult to say which!? Always lovely to hear from you, Lisa, so will happily look forward to it :)
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard - I love the hedgehog sticker, too! My husband needs to embrace the quote - so far, he is still saying no to a cat (and human baby). Maybe if I talk more about a human baby, a cat won't sound so bad! ; )
Response: Thanks A. Clever, very clever. Best of luck with your strategy, and let me know how it turns out ;)
Comment: Well, well if it isn't Ms. rexypants. Your PC sure cheered me today. I was really hoping my mailbox would have some little something in it. Finally, a person that can write something connective. : ) Thanks! I'm so glad you liked that deco. I just love making nice ones that I hope people like. You've inspired me to do another. Thanks for looking at my website. Yes, that was for my friend Deb's book trailer. It was a ton of fun to do. Mind you a little talent doesn't go far, but I try my best to please. I loved making what I call my 'I love Lucy faces.' Her books are really very good. I love your PC of the dog in the bookcase. You know, I just love doggies. Big Hugs to you swap friend. Keep in touch!
Cheers, Le Papillon Vert

It was so much fun though...now, I have a passport so I can go overseas to see them...I'm thinking...next time they do a European tour :) They'll also be touring in the fall for a new CD and I plan to take like a week off work and travel around to see them :)

Comment: Oh, you wild and crazy gal! Breakin' the law and going all Rambo with your envelope and all! I love this card not only for it's vintageness, but because this was the last place I saw my favorite band play about 5 years ago. Are you psychic too?
Response: Yeah, I'm terrible ;) It looks like an awesome venue for live music!
Comment: I LOVE the pc! Thanks! And no--I didn't always know I'd be a professor. I was well on my way to becoming a journalist (can hardly believe that these days) when BAM! the pursuit of the PhD hit me. The story's probably not that interesting, but I'll tell you some day in a letter or on the next postcard or in a PM! :-)
Response: Hi C - Happy you liked the card. I'll bet that story IS pretty interestng LOL :) Hope you're having a nice week.
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard. I have bought them at a local thrift store. One of my favorites was Westview Park (an amusement park that I went to after school was out for the summer). It was a great find for me. Most of the postcards came from E-Bay. Love collecting them. Happy Valentine's Day, Linda
Response: It's always fun to stumble upon an image that has sentimental meaning. Hadn't thought of checking eBay. Thanks for the tip!

Comment: I can totally understand why you have gotten rid of this PC..... and when you do bite into another Hot dog...you don't remember this card with the toothpaste all over it. I am surprised who ever sold it, could even sell it... Wow... Take care... Happy Swapping and surely it gets a big Heart for a most lame PC....Pat
Response: Hi Pat - Hope you're well. It has occurred to me that someone, somewhere, has invented hot dog flavored toothpaste...ick. Thanks for rating & happy swapping to you, too.
Comment: I loved the post card.... who doesn't like Betty Page's pics? Though I walked away from the Bettie Page movie feeling a little wierd. You should see it; food for thought for me at least. Anyways, this post card will be on my fridge for a nice long while! Thanks
Response: I saw the movie and felt strange about it, too...it was darker than I thought it would be! Happy you enjoyed the card :)
Comment: Hi Sharon, thanks for the lovely card! I must say that your choice is perfect as I just dug up my old origami book and got two more (japanese) origami books from Kinokuniya. Now I am in paper heaven! Guess the jug project will have to take a backseat for now. How is the Kirigami going? I would love to see it. Wishing you all the best in your 2011 crafty projects.
Response: It's slow going!! Happy paper folding :)
Comment: Thank you so very very very much for this pc. I fell in love with Harrison Ford in this movie and I still think he is my fav actor!! My son and I love all the SW movies. If I could you would get at least ten hearts for this one.
Comment: Sharon, Thank you so very much for the Lovely card & warm wishes. Also for the stickers...they are Beautiful! Where did you get them? And here's hoping we do get some snow for Christmas!! Have a Wonderful Christmas ....Neighbour!!!! :))
Comment: O' Chunks came in the mail today! My kids were EXTREMELY EXCITED! They've got her tour all mapped out! She's "unpacked" and settled in her room. Her photo album is already for her souvenirs and pictures. Can't wait! :)
Response: LOL! It makes me very happy to know that Chunks will be in such good company over the hols :)
Comment: I love the way you think! Your remarks about the photo sound like how I view some art and photos at times, wondering about the background. I so often wish I knew the story behind the piece. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard of Nimkish Village and totem poles in Alert Bay, B.C. Amazingly, both pcs received for this swap show totem poles from Alert Bay. Your postcard reminds me of the 1995 Jim Jarmusch film Dead Man that stars Johnny Depp. There's a river-side lodge where the Indian (Gary Farmer) enters through a bird's beak, just like described on your postcard.
Comment: I love the postcard. Native art, as we know it here in Canada, is such a wonderful study. Both of our children took it in highschool and I have many pieces that our son did in his years of it. Thank you for the card. Hearts to you and do enjoy your visit to Victoria and Happy Birthday for Mom!
Comment: Hello Sharon- Thank you for the great view of Vancouver. It looks like a really beautiful city right on the water. And I love the big deer stamp you used. It's beautiful. I definitely have to get to your town one of these days.
Comment: Wow! A Royal Canadian Mounted Police postcard! So Canadian this image! Well, at least this is an image I have. This is my second Canadian postcard in a row and both are very beautiful!
Thanks for remembering my little Anna and for your warmful words!
Response: Thank you for organizing such a fun swap!
