I am a happily married mother to two great kids. My daughter is twelve years old and is a DANCER as well as a SOFTBALL PLAYER. Her favorite color is purple and she is CRAZY for anything to do with penguins. She loves music and reading! She loves to cook with me and try new recipes. My son is nine years old and is a DANCER as well as a BASEBALL PLAYER. His favorite color is blue and he is CRAZY for computer games and video games. He collect Yu-Gi-Oh Cards. He loves to read (challenging books).I spend my days working for some amazing lawyers as a bankruptcy paralegal. My nights include spending time with my kids and taxiing them to their activities. My husband works a different shift than I, so we make time on weekends for one another. So as you can guess, I am a pretty busy lady.

I am terribly patriotic. I love anything to do with patriotism and/or the American Flag. I am also a huge fan of anything Disney. I love MUSIC and READING! I am not very artistic but I am trying to improve that with each new swap I try. Please don't judge me too harshly on my artistic abilities.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE MUSIC. Did I say Love ? HAHAHA My musical tastes are varied. I am currently listening to BABCOCK and DARK OCTOBER most often. They are some of the new ventures for my friend, Justin Babcock. I recently became a fan of Thriving Ivory. If you haven't heard Angels on the Moon you are missing out. Some of my favorite artists include DAVID COOK, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns and Chris Tomlin. I am also a huge fan of Rock and Roll, Alternative Rock, Some Indie Music. I love classic rock (1960's) as well as 80's Rock. I have been known to listen to some Heavy Metal in my time. And I love to listen to classical piano music. I am currently trying to teach myself how to play it. I also LOVE to listen to music by new artists. It is fascinating to me to hear this undiscovered talent that surrounds us.

I LOVE to read. I am drawn to Legal Thrillers, novels that pull at your heartstrings and novels that show you life from another perspective. I like to discover new ways to look at a given situation. I love for my mind to be challenged when I read. I am also becoming a great fan of biographies and autobiographies.Some of my favorite authors include: John Grisham, Wally Lamb, Jodie Piccoult.

My favorite movie is The Outsiders. I have loved it since I first saw it. A significant part of the movie includes the poem, Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. It is hands down one of my favorite poems EVER. Just beautiful.

I am a Scrapbooker! When your children are as busy as mine, there is never a time that I am lacking for pictures. For that reason, I started scrapbooking to put all those memories into albums we could cherish forever. I have recently discovered new creative areas that I quite enjoy, ATC's, Matchboxes, Recycled Items Crafts....THANK YOU SWAP-BOT. I also enjoy cardmaking. I also enjoy simple quilting and making tie-together fleece blankets.

I have a serious sweet tooth. Some of my favorite candies include rich chocolates, gummy candies, and sweet-tart/smartie type candies. I also LOVE cinnamon almonds for a sweet treat. When I am craving something that is NOT sweet, I crave sesame sticks, pretzels, kettle cooked chips or popcorn. The real challenge for me is getting to include some of these goodies while maintaining a healthy weight. :) PLEASE NO PEPPERMINT in my swaps. I have a slight allergy and would rather avoid it altogether.

I have to take a second to state the obvious here....I DISLIKE FLAKERS. I was flaked on a number of large expensive swaps in 2008. I am really hoping that 2009 proves to be a better year for everyone and that the flaking ends. If you get me as a partner and cannot complete the swap.....PLEASE, I BEG YOU contact me and at least let me know what happened.
