About Me

I am married. We have a 17 year-old son. I like swaps because they give me a chance to buy girly things. Scrapbooking is a great hobby for me because I love ribbon and paper and it gives me a place to display my photographs.

Please don't feel obliged to send me extras with your swap. I have limited storage space for them. I really enjoy receiving just the swap item that has had some care and thought put into it. I am pretty generous with hearts and will usually give one regardless of whether or not an extra item is included.

I mostly trade altered matchboxes. This list of likes is for matchbox themes I like or the stuff you might put inside a matchbox.

So, if you are stuck for an idea:

I really like all the bird designs that are so popular right now. Love me some Snoopy. I love tiny stuff. Matchbox shrines are so cool. I love shrines that look very artsy. Unfortunately mine come out looking very tidy and cute, but I'm working on it.

I like tiny dolls that are weird. I love things that are spooky and creepy but still pretty (like Disney's Haunted Mansion). I like zombies. I love anything hand-drawn. I think the demons on Notre Dame are so stinkin' cute. I want to bring one home and feed it cookies.

I love anything with dogs. I love things with cats if they look unusual and not too cutesy. Classic Winnie the Pooh (not the modern one). I think ATCs are neat, but I don't own any.

I love game pieces - the weirder the better. Remember that old man diver from the game "Mousetrap"? I also enjoy individual playing cards.

I could live without

Jack Skelington (I know, I said like creepy stuff - but I don't like Jack.) Kawaii (don't hate it, just not fond of it). Hello Kitty. Mr. Peanut scares the hell out of me. Maybe it's the spats or the monocle, but I'm sure he is the anti-Christ.

And all those other things, how can I thank you enough? All the flower pieces, the Hello Kitty band-aid (how cute!), and the postcards and pictures of San Francisco!
