UPDATE 8/10/09: I am in the final week of my move and things are crazy, but I will be getting at least one swap out this week and then many more out when I get settled in next week in my new place (mini yeay!) Thank you to all of the patient swappers & sweet supportive comments and another sorry to those I owe, your swaps are coming, promise!

Yes, I am alive. Alive, along with ashamed and embarrassed. I really hate to be one of those swappers who writes a long dramatic paragraph about how hard life is blah blah blah, so here is the short version: I broke up with my boyfriend of 5 years (also known as my Babby Daddy) and have been in the process of moving across the country (with my 3 year old)...it has been way more time consuming and emotionally draining than I ever expected, and although I am great at putting on a happy face, I have not been able to do much else. I regret to say that my crafting, sewing and swapping energy went down the toilet. I am VERY VERY sorry to all the people I have let down and flaked on. In the next 2-3 weeks I will get caught up on the swaps I owe and then take a break from the 'Bot until I am settled in my new home/life and feel back to 100%. I have not checked or answered PMs yet, but will do that soon. Again I am really sorry and will work hard to get these swaps out asap.

I am outgoing, intelligent, confident, love to laugh, hard to offend and easy to amuse. I come from a large, spread out family and although I only see most of them a few times a year, I consider myself very lucky to have so many people in my life to love and be loved by. I am a proud mother of a wonderful boy named Oliver (dob 12.10.05) who pretty much consumes my world, but crafting takes a close second! By day, I put on my serious face and work, but by night (and weekend) I love to sew, glue, cut, collage and all other things craftlicious. I also love to thrift store shop, garage sale hop, and recently discovered estate sales which I love! I have been doing collage crafts (as seen in my Etsy shop) for almost 8 years, but I am fairly new to sewing, and happy to report that I am loving it a ton. I am trying very hard to get more involved with the homemade revolution and connect more with fellow crafters. I am super glad to have found Swap-bot! I am really enjoying connecting with people and swapping great stuff!! Yeay!!

It's a picture of me from a photo shoot that I did for my boyfriend, Valentines Day 2008, me as a 50's pinup. I had a blast, loved how they turned out, and highly recommend it (doesn’t necessarily have to be a pinup shoot, but getting pretty and posing is good for the soul!)!
