My view of life is optimistic and cheerful.
I love to see creativity blossoming in others as well.
I am happily married, live in the beautiful Northwest USA. We have four kids, the youngest will be off to college this fall, and out on her own. We have three grandsons, 14, 11, and 6. They live an hour and a half drive away.
Swapbot has been great motivation for me, to take time to make something, reach out more, and enjoy other swappers Talents.
A challenge for me is my health, and trying to feel stronger.( Rheumatoid Arthritis)
. I like having reasons to get out my art supplies, surround myself with paper scissors, glue, fabric, etc... Fun! I feel most alive and in the right place when delving into artistic projects. In fact I do believe it may reverse the aging process...
We have a mostly Vegetarian household. I enjoy cooking, and trying to learn something new every day.
I love flowers, and especially a fragrant garden. I enjoy farmers markets and yard sales. My life is sweet right now, as I am able to travel standby (thanks to my son, Daniel working as a flight attendant)
I have traveled to Stockholm and Paris within the past yr. Before that, trips to NYC, San Diego and San Fransisco. I can hardly wait for my next adventure.... My husband is not fond of flying, so I travel alone, or with a sister or one of my kids. (I was born with a serious case of Wanderlust...)
I write poetry, and am kind of a dreamer.... I will always complete a swap, and enjoy the whole process, even the post office line!
I love people, (really do) and don't mind being alone either. I savor life, and try to find the beauty, humor and mystery of each day.
