I am a single 30 year old living in the south of England. I have moved around alot since my late teens but somehow always end up back in my home county of Dorset.

As a child I had a lot of penpals and came across Swap-bot while looking for penpal websites. I am excited to start swapping as soon as possible so I can finally put my crafting hobbies to some use. :)

Likes:

○ craft bits and pieces, ie; embellishments, buttons, beads, rubber stamps, embroidery floss, findings, rub ons, ribbon etc.

○ little notebooks, pens, all sorts of stationery

○ herbal/flavoured teas (especially citrus and berry) and cocoa.

○ FQ's and scraps of fabric

○ true crime and crime fiction

○ recipes, especially soups, cakes and cookies

○ I used to live in the U.S. and desperately miss a few naughty but nice items, including jolly ranchers, fritos mild cheddar dip & Jack Links Original Beef Jerky

I always check my swap partners profile and try my best to tailor my swap gift to their likes. I put a lot of time and effort into considering what they would like to receive and whether I myself would like to receive it. Therefore, well filled out profiles really help, and go a long way to helping me send something that is truly special. ♥

I don't need extras in order to give a heart. The list of likes above is simply a guide for my swap partners, extras are not essential or expected. If I think you have put thought, time and effort into my swap gift, then I will rate a heart with no question.

I photograph all of my swap packages and keep receipts from the post office as proof of mailing. If you have not received your package two weeks after send date PLEASE contact me and I will do my best to rectify the situation.

I have just started to learn to sew. My mother has been sewing for years and I thought it was about time I asked her to teach me. I am very much a beginner with just a few simple items under my belt but I really enjoy the process, the measuring, cutting, pinning, sewing and then the final product. It is proving to be very therapeutic. I love collecting Fat Quarters for use on small projects such as tea wallets, pincushions, scented drawer sachets and eye pillows.

I also enjoy beading and make a variety of bits and bobs including bookmarks and book thongs, bag charms, cell phone charms, earrings, stitch markers etc. I have been working with silver plated findings and glass beads mostly, but with my confidence growing I hope to start working with sterling silver findings and semi precious beads in the near future to create something extra special. I like chunky round semi precious beads, vintage beads and findings and of course swarovski crystals.

I love to cook and bake whenever I get the chance. I collect recipe books and like nothing more than to cook a meal from scratch or bake a loaf of fresh bread and then watch my family or friends devour it. I have recently taken an interest in making relishes, chutneys and jams which have proved a hit with my family. I love receiving tried and true recipes, especially for soups and cakes.

I also knit and crochet sporadically, when the mood takes me and when I have the patience. I am still learning and again, like my sewing keep my projects simple.
