Comment: How your first cosplay got out? I would love to see picks. I like Vampire Hunter D too, I think it was one of my first, I saw.. My most favorite is Chobbits., thought. Thank you for the lovely postcard.
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much for the thoughtful and FUN package of goodies! It was like Christmas opening your package! I absolutely love everything you sent! You made my day. A gazillion hearts to you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome postcard you sent me! ♡ I would love to visit Las Vegas one day, it seems to exciting and beautiful. Especially with all the colorful lights! I would also love to visit Boston. Both seem like gorgeous places to live. I hope you enjoyed your relaxing weekend. Thanks again! :D ♡
Comment: I have gotten no swap (this was due April 5th) and no reply to my message or comment. I usually don't get too upset but seeing that you have logged in and wont reply is truly disappointing. Swap coordinator had to angel this swap.
Comment: Thank you so much for the Vegas postcard! I unfortunately have not been to Vegas but it is on my bucket list! It looks like there's so much to do and see that isn't necessarily gambling! I can't wait to go sometime! <3 :D
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome postcard! I love it! Sadly I have never been to Boston but it is on my bucket list! Grand Rapids is a great city to visit here in Michigan since there's so much to do! Hope you are able to come some time!! <3 :D
Comment: Thanks Danielle for the wonderful PC Horses are one of my favorite animals. This is my first Vermont PC to add to my newly started PC collection. I think my favorite is The 1st one.The Sorcerer and the stone.Loved all the books still reread them from time to time.Hope to swap again sometime.
Comment: Oh my goodness, what a wonderful package! As you probably saw, I posted that I was going to give most of mine to my MLP-loving niece, so you should have heard the rationalization going on as I opened the package..."well, she can't even read yet, so I better keep this comic book for myself. oh, I better keep this too..." :) I love everything (and the note about your in-depth conversation with the brony made me giggle)
Comment: Danielle, how are you doing with all this snow? We never get snow and this week we had 10 inches. Bad for a day and then it all melted. Amazing since I lived in Northampton MA for over 60 years and we never had anything like that. Thank you for the pretty snow postcard. Lovely to look and but not to be in. Shirley
Comment: Thanks so much for your gorgeous postcard - I love New England! I once travelled around all the New England states and had a fantastic time - and I'm really envious because you get so much snow. We haven't had any this winter, what a disappointment!
Comment: Wow, I haven't heard of big d and the kids table but I've just downloaded strictly rude.. this is perfect, amazing recommendation! (Oh I've just noticed your user name! - AHA) Have a look at flogging molly or bandits of the acoustic revolution, they're also amazing!
Comment: Thanks for the mood groups card. Yes, I have travelled the whole length of Route 66 once, and on several parts some other times. Went to the Route 66 fest in Springfield, Il a couple of times.
Comment: I've added you as a friend there, I hope that's okay. I love old 70s/80s punk, but I don't really know what today's punk is, or what ska is, and I'd love to find out. Oops, I forgot to add what last.fm rates us as compatibility: Very Low. Maybe that'll change in coming months.
Comment: It pains me so to rate a 3 as I always give hearts if I receive the swap. It was marked as sent 10 days (Sept. 30) late with no notification, but the postmark on the card was even later on Oct. 4. I love the postcard, but to be fair on the ratings I am giving a 3.
Response: That's fair. I take classes and the end of September blew up in my face. I chose schoolwork over sending swaps and ended up sending several about 1-2 weeks late. If there is a way I can earn a 5, let me know. Thank you.
Comment: I love the postcard, boy with a thousand arms, how strange. Why is he carying a clipboard in one of his many arms? I can't wait for the Walking Dead to come on next month. I have been reading the comics when the trade paperbacks come out and have the year's editions in them. I love how the comic is different from the show and you kind of know how some things may go but then you get totally surprised, like with Andrea, I love her in the comic but hated her on the show.
Comment: Hello Danielle- Thank you so much for the "tacky" postcard. I love it. :) This fits the swap definition perfectly. I have never been to Tennessee, but I have seen photos, and I too think the scenery is quite beautiful. Best wishes, Debbie
Comment: Thank you for the great selection of touristy postcards. My husband is planning a family holiday for us next year to the US. The postcards will give him some ideas of where to visit. Thank you for the mapcard also.
Comment: I know Derry! LOL My mother and I would go into Derry just to go to the WalMArt, it was the 1st in NH LOL Im from Nashua myself, but have been living down here for a while now. I miss it up there at times! We went back this past Christmas :)
Comment: Hello Danielle, Thank you for a very nice postcard. Yes sofar I have only been in New York (and once a transfer in Miami on my way to Curacao, a Dutch island in the Caribean). My husband and I had plans to do Washington this year, but I lost my job and we leakage in our livingroom, so no money for Washington. Perhaps next year.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! ☺ Anyone can draw, you just have to train your hand eye coordination, which is mostly training your brain. ☺ You have to put the time in and keep at it; you lose ability if you are out of practice.
Comment: We're not too sure what Abby is since we got her at the shelter, but we like to call her our "squirrel baby" because of all the grey and brown she has haha. I bet your little Trixie is super cute! Thanks for the card :)
Comment: Hi Danielle,
I have been to Dallas, but only at the airport! I would like to visit there, but not anytime soon. I think my favorite place was Italy: I was like you in that I did not think I would like it, but I was totally surprised by the fabulous artwork there! Another place I really liked was New Zealand. I went there with no idea what it was like and I was certainly surprised by the total spread of natural beauty: great surfing spots, tropical forests, mountains and beautiful beaches, plus the people were so friendly.
Sorry to say I have not spent much time in NH - we drove through it going to Canada and back. There are some very pretty parts!
Comment: Pretty leaves! I had the pleasure of visiting NH once in 1997 but it was in July so no pretty red leaves then but still was a beautiful place. My favorite HP book and movie are The Prisoner of Azkaban. :-)
Comment: Perfect card! I will be hiking in the White Mountains for a day in Oct. Going to The Flume and some of the covered bridges. Will also be doing some sight seeing in Boston. Can't wait. Thanks for the preview via postcard.
Comment: Thanks so much for the all the nice note cards, all the postcards (NH is just lovely - I will visit it someday!), and all the pretty stickers, and especially for the Hogwarts PC *swoon*! Really cheered up my day :) Thanks again!
Comment: Danielle, thanks so much for the great Vegas card..I've been there several times, too!! My parents used to live in Prescott, AZ, so we would usually do a 2 day trip to Vegas and/or Laughlin whenever we would visit them..brings back great memories of fun times!! Thanks again!
Comment: Hello Danielle :)
Thank you so much for the awesome postcard, I wanted very much to have a pc with Budweiser's Clydesdales for quite a while now. I studied Advertising Management in college and Budweiser's Clydesdales ads one of my favs. Also huge thanks for music suggestions, I listened to the bands you suggested and really enjoyed it, I now can add ska to the music genres that I like :) Thank you so much for everything!
Comment: I love this PC...I am not sure if it was chance or done on purpose, but the abstract art on it, is actually a beach scene. : ) Oh and to answer your question, no I don't read TWD comics, but I love the show.
Comment: Thank you so much for the postcard of Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge. We parked our car there and took the trolley up to Gatlinburg and to some other local places when we went. I have been to the area three times and I can not wait to go back. Take care and happy swapping.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful postcard it reminds me of an old covered bridge in lewisburg, wv about 3 hours from my home. WOW, I'd be happy to see 1/2 of 21" of snow at one time here. I AM A SNOW LOVER!!
Comment: Loved your card of Vermont!! So colorful. Sorry about the late rating. Your swap came when I was in the hospital, and it got misplaced when I came home. Please accept my sincerest apology. HAPPY SWAPPING//!!!
Comment: Yes, I miss Maine, but I get back there two or three times a year to visit my son & grandbabies. I grew up in the Boston area, too. I notice your postmark is Manchester, I fly in and out of there much of the time, have gotten to know it quite well. Thanks for the card!
Comment: hello & thanks sooo much for the
excellent pennsylvania postcard: yes,
i went there (philly) in april & have seen
a bit of the state [husband's relatives
there!], so it's great to have a postcard
all my own ... ones i have tend to get
sent away!! have a great weekend &
fun month :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great night scape of Las Vegas from this swap back in April. I was sending out a swap today and found this filed in my stash. I'm sorry that I missed rating it when it arrived.
Comment: Thanks for the fun art PC. :) I made it to Warped Tour once when I was younger, but I am now more of the Sasquatch/Electric Forest/Wakarusa Festival type. :) If it isn't almost a week long, I'm out haha. <3
Comment: Thank you for the swap! Trixie is so beautiful. She reminds me of a cat I used to have when I was little named Ernie. I love the really fluffy cats. And I absolutely love that your friend named his cat Bubba. :p
Comment: That's a great moose card--thanks very much! Nothing like seeing a moose in the wild--you have to seek one out! Just be careful and keep a safe distance because they are not the most friendly animals around. And if a Mom has a baby with her, be especially careful!
Comment: Hello Danielle,
Thank you for your postcard for this swap. Where do you live? I could not choose your postcard because Texas is my neighbor to the east. I live in NM. I will add your postcard to my map postcards as I don't have Texas yet.
Response: I live in New Hampshire and I'm glad that you liked the postcard! :) I drove through New Mexico once...in January. There was more snow than I expected to see LOL...
Comment: Thank you for the horse pc. You would really like Iowa this week. It has been in the upper 90's to 100 with high humidity. VERY hot, stifling heat. You can't go outside for about 2 minutes without sweating.
Comment: Wow! My first "World" postcard, showing you live in NH. Visited NH, VT & Maine with my late husband back in 1999. Took best photos in NH. Now I'm painting pictures of them. You brought back fond memories. Thank you!
Comment: I, too, was a big fan of the Simpsons..IN fact, I would watch it with my grandson , he's now 20.Thank you !!
Also, I did watch Touch, and am sorry to hear that it is on the list to be dropped..I really enjoyed it, even sometimes, it took me a long time to understand Jake. MY whole family, there were 5 of us,watched the whole series of 24..and my son has all the seasons on DVD. It was a great time for all of us!!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful Patty & Selma postcard... they are great! We are Simpson fans in this household, too! (We are fans of Dinosaur B-B-Q as well. We buy their sauce at Wegmans and make our own pulled pork or beef ... YUM!)
Comment: Thanks for the nice card Danielle, No, unfortunately I did not see the Specials recently :( oh well... Peter Gabriel is another fave of mine and I am certainly rocking for that one in September
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful bridge postcard! I haven't seen a covered bridge since I lived back east. Well, on postcards. Does that count? If you send me your email address I will share a google docs I have with lots of background on "The Hunger Games" and its author. I compiled this for a book club meeting.
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely postcard! Our winter was much the same... very mild, but we did have a few "surprise" flakes here and there in late March and early April. Hopefully that's all behind us now!
Comment: love the card, thank you!! the flowers are so pretty! =) & thank you for the compliment on my tv shows! i've watchedt the 3rd or 4th episode of touch on huluplus but i decided to wait & watch the first two because i felt totally lost. haha. i hate when huluplus doesn't have the first few episodes of a season. ugh! and i love, love, love the walking dead! the season finale of season 2 was intense i am so excited for season 3!!
Comment: Thanks - and no, I haven't seen the Muppet movie. I'm sort of an old-school Classic Muppet Show junkie, and the new movies have disappointed me. But I'm sure I'll see it someday. I read The Hunger Games - first book only - but only thought "meh." No plans to see the movie.
Comment: Wow, it's nice to know that you met your penpal (If I correctly understood). I am planning to meet one of my penpal when I grow older and can afford a trip to the US. Thank you for offering a New Hampshire PC! I really appreciate it a lot. More hugs to you :)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I actually really like your postcard. I think the airplane doodle is cute. I like doing ugly postcard swaps because I really do learn that "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
Comment: Wow! I love that you did Boston ska/punk! I'm not super familiar with it but I have loved what I've heard - who doesn't love the Bosstones? I will definitely be checking these out. And your stories are the greatest. Thanks so much for sharing! <3
Comment: Thank you for the postcard - I really like it! From what I've seen, Maine is much like New Zealand in parts. There's just one thing - all the cars are on the wrong side of the road! rofl Jan x
Comment: Thanks for the great mapcard, I didn't have a NH one!! And yay for hockey fans!! Even though hahaha I'm not a B's fan. But I'm a Pens fan so that makes sense not to like the other, right? Haha.
Comment: I have a friend that goes to warped tour a lot as well. I know her favorite singer is Butch Walker. Thats awesome that your dedicated to a band so much. I am in a country band and we travel all over. Thank you for sharing! I hope you really liked the swap!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful view of Vermont. I actually think this is the first PC I've received from there! You wrote something on the back of the PC, but for the life of me, I can't make it out. You said "And I'm a huge hockey fan ? an the bar, mind you!" Hope you can remember, it's killing me! =D
Response: Haha my writing is horrible!!! I said I'm a huge hockey fan, I cried when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup and I was at the bar :) All I wanted was one Stanley Cup in my lifetime...of course, now I feel greedy and I want more!!!
Comment: Greetings, Danielle! I have received your postcard. It is one of the most beautiful cards in my collection! It brings many pleasant emotions. Girls on a card smile sincerely and gently. Ancient surfs surprise with the monumentalism :)
Comment: Thanks for the comments! Most of my oldcollege friends are really into raggae, punk, and ska, so I recognize some of the band names on your profile. We do have a lot in common. Sorry to read about your boyfriend and your kitty. Can you get the kitty back? Maybe we can do a private swap sometime.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard of Memorial Field/Dartmouth College - i didnt have this field in my collection. I'd like one day to have ALL the college fields, though I doubt it will be possible ... some dont even issue postcards. Thank you for going the extra mile - and good luck with growing your own postcard collection. Postcards are so much fun, educational and pretty to look at ... iDletiology should be much more popular as a hobby. Cheers!
Comment: Thanks for the card! High school is the way to go! Little kids cry if you get too stern, and high school kids can take a joke. It's true that they are tougher (they can be really mean) but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Good luck in school! :)
Comment: There was no room to write on the back of your card, but I wish you'd have worked out a way to, because I always like to hear from the sender, even just a little bit. You got a heart because the image of the card appealed to my pervy side. Nice.
Comment: This card is so great! I love San Francisco :) Well... I like the Foo Fighters for example and Mando Diao and other swedish bands but I also like Belle and Sebastian a lot. They are not so much punk or rock but it's pretty cool... You should check them out!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard :) I like to photograph just about anything. I just take photos of things around me that capture my imagination :) Even if there was some money in it I don't think I'm anywhere near good enough to sell my photos, maybe one day though :p
Comment: You only included two websites, but that's alright.
I wish I could see my fave band 85 times! Or to even just go to 15 states. haha.
I think I might just have to join paperbackswap.com, I have so many books just lying in bins here, but I would have to find a way to pay for all that postage.
Comment: Hello Danielle- Thanks for the really nice postcard of the sculpture. I also like the Diary of Anne Frank. Lately I have been reading about all the kings and queens of England, going back to about the 800s. I am supposedly related to some of them, but haven't been able to prove it yet. :) Best wishes to you, Debbie Christian
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. I had that one in my collection at one time! :) I like Jodi Picoult too, my favorite by her was "The Pact" but I'm also a huge Janet Evanovitch fan as well as Mary Kay Andrews. Thanks for joining and happy swapping!
Comment: Hello! Thank you for the nice comment! I don't go to too many concerts. I have only been to Aerosmith (with Motley Crue), VNV Nation and Great Big Sea (one of my husband's favorites). I would love to see Def Leppard someday! Hope you have fun at Warped Tour! Oh, kitties, mine thinks she's the queen of the house (Really she is only the princess). I don't take too many photos of her anymore since my son was born, I really should start again. :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing! Really, really liked Less than Jake - Rest of My Life!
Response: I'm glad that you liked it! The song, and the video, are beautiful...before I emailed the links out, I watched all of them and of course, I was in tears at the end of Rest of my Life...I usually end up in tears during that video/song...
Comment: YOU'VE SEEN BIG D 85 TIMES?! I only wish to have that dedication eventually! I love Ska and haven't heard of Mustard Plug, so I'll make sure to try and see them live.
The little bios/stories under the links were super interesting. Thanks so much!
Response: 85 times that I can remember :) I'm sure there are times that I've missed... Let me know what you think of Mustard Plug! They're under rated and, in my opinion, one of the best ska-punk bands out there. Amazing live show, too!
Comment: You seem a very friendly person! Thank you so much for your comment in this swap. I'm so glad you were able to rescue your own kitty from a difficult, lonely life. I'm glad we were partners for this swap. Nice to meet you, too. :)
Comment: Hi! Yipppeee for stable weather!! LOL! We ran into storms while on vacation and now that we are back home - sigh! A tad tired of rain on my end!! LOL! TY for the lovely pc and enjoyed hearing from you! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Card still not receive, but happy to change the rating since we have swap so many time before succesfully ...
Response: I am resending the card this weekend. I may have gotten a little carried away in my response...I was having a bad day and then I came home and saw two "ones" and just snapped so I apologize... I know the only people I should be mad at are the USPS. I am re-sending on Saturday though (my first chance to get to the p.o.) - please let me know when you get it.
Response: Hello...please message me regarding this. I sent you a message on 5/1 and had the coordinator send you a message on 5/3 - we have not heard back from you as of yet and I'd really like to find out why I was rated a 1... Thanks!!! :)
Comment: Actually I'm always in school it seems, be it continuing Ed or teaching. Working towards an eventual NP license some day. Thank you for the CT card too. I still needed it and like the lighthouses too. Cheers
Comment: Thanks for the note! I like the picture on the card. :) My friend is taking that major too. She has to only take 14 math credit hours where I get to take 48 math credit hours. Crazy how much different it is.
Anyways, best of luck :)
Comment: Thanks for your lovely comments. I enjoy all types of postcards, I don't have any favourites I just like to see different parts of the world. I prefer standard size ones as I keep them in a photo album. I'm studying Children's Services =)
Comment: Thanks for the nice card, I live in the San Joaquin Valley, between Fresno & Bakersfield, close to the Sequoia National Park, the trees are really beautiful & huge. Hope you have a great day =)
Comment: Hi Danielle... I was born in Boston, and I like tit to visit.... that is it...but at heart...I am really a country girl.... Thank you for the wonderful card....That card...surely makes it look awesome..... Happy Swapping neighbor! Pat
Comment: haha cool! thanks for the tip..will defo check that band out! if you fancy a personal swap just lemme know! Could get hold of some cool uk stuff for ya cus I live next door to a record shop! :o)
Comment: Thanks for the interesting postcard. I liked reading about the artwork too.
About Paul Zindel, I've read The Death-Defying Diary of Eugene Dingman and I just bought The Pigman, and his play, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in the Moon Marigolds. I was lucky enough to find them at the used books store. :)

Comment: Hey Danielle..... Wow...so close huh.... I had no idea there was another in this town...that belonged to the Bot.... I have lots of fun at this...and have made a few friends.... Its an awesome place to hang out at..... especially when you have met some people....... Take care....Great card...I really like it...looks like me in the spring time...as I am chasing ducks out of the pond every spring.... so they don't eat my fish! lololol Nice to meet up with you....
Comment: Thank you sooo much for giving ME your Emily the Strange card! I love her! I am a thrift store fiend, too! In fact, recently I saw an Emily tote bag purse and it had some cool pins on it and foolishly, I did not buy it! I have learned that if I think of or look at something for the 3rd time in one of those stores, that means it is destined to go home with me or I will have regrets!
Comment: I really love this postcard. It's interesting and striking and I am a huge fan. I actually had nice things to say about it on my blog, Postcardnerd, if you want to check it out. Believe me - that is rare haha Thanks Again!
Comment: Thanks for the card from Portsmouth. My son in law is the one that is the big collector of the Route 66 cards, but, I think he has now a huge collection. I will still accept them if any are sent to me..He will get them.
Comment: I got your lovely photos and your card today (: I love the bridge in Boston. It's so beautiful! I would love to swap Boston cards for Virginia if you're interested? Or if you have any more. Anyways, thank you very much for the lovely mail. I hope you're well.
Response: I would love to swap, I have tons of Boston cards!!! I love Boston and try to go there often :)
Comment: I love that you live near Manchester, New Hampshire - I live near (well, 40 mins) to Manchester England! Really Nice of you to send more than one photo =) Thank you :)
Response: Haha that was one of the reasons I sent that Manchester card to you, I figured you could compare it to Manchester England :) I'm going to go out on a limb and say Manchester England is wayyy better than Manchester NH...just a guess :)
Comment: Oh yeah I love your ad card, and I love shopping for vintage stuff, pity that we dont have thrift store here, there is this open air flea market which sell vintage stuff but only once every two months, well still better than nothing ;-)
Comment: Wow! Great GoCard. Thank you so much. Where did you get it?
Response: A thrift store in Nevada used to be great for postcards...they bought out storage lockers and one time, I went and found a giant tub of all these weirdly unique ad cards :) People don't always want ad cards though so it can be tough to find takers for them :)
