Comment: WOW! What amazing book markers! I have nothing like them and really love them! That little monster guy is adorable especially when you see his eyes peeking out of the book! Thank you so very much! XO Kelly
Comment: Hi, thanks for the fun dishcloths and scrubby! And oh my goodness dear! - you went a little crazy with the extras (not that I'm complaining, because M&M's!) thanks for a really fun package to brighten up my day! :)
Response: So glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely dishcloths! The potholder was so sweet, too. Tell your daughter I loved it very much and will use it in my kitchen. I appreciate all your hard work on the cloth you made, Valreinking. Thanks for sending me such a nice swap!
Response: You are most welcome. And thanks for the heart.
Comment: Oops! I accidentally switched the reviews. Here's what you should have gotten:
Funny-- I've been to Sacramento lots but have never come home with a squished penny. It's like I have my very own souvenir now. Thank you!
Sorry for the mix up :-/
Comment: Thank you so much for the Nevada penny! I went to school in Incline Village, NV and actually spend a bit of time in both Reno and Tahoe area and have never seen/gotten a penny from there! We have a very bad bear problem here. So, I also liked the bear! Thanks!
Comment: OH! MY! GODS!!! You are so amazing that I would need multiple thesaurusi to completely describe it. My maillady wanted know know why someone had mailed me a pizza, and when I opened it and started laughing she slowly backed away. I took it to my LYS and got three offers to buy it. As soon as I can I'm buying a case for it so it can be properly displayed in my living room. I love the Jack Skellington too, he went right into my collection, but the dissected frog is just wonderful, hilarious, and amazing. :o)
Response: YEA!!! I'm so glad you like it! Your response has made my day! YEA!
Comment: Val, you are so sweet, I love the yarn, I have never seen any ARAUCANIA yarn, we do not have any yarn shops here where I live, so we have to depend on the craft stores or order it on line. This is so pretty, Now I have to find a pattern to use. sigggh ! LOL And You read too!!
Great, I belong to paperbackswap, have for about 9 years. I can't go to sleep with out a good book. I have read all of Debbie Macomber books I could find, But I will look on line and see if I can find Maggie Sefton. and Slly Goldenbaum, My favorite author is Diann Gabaldon who wrote the Outlander series, It has nothing to do with knitting, but takes place in Scotland in the mid 1700's. it is such a good series, They are making a movie of it, casting is going on right now. I also love Nicholas Sparks, At the moment I am reading a series that someone recommended, about Orchard Mysteries, Sheila Connolly, . I love to knit the sashay and frill scarves for the quarter auctions and craft shows. So I knit quite a bit, then last year I took a couple crochet classes, so now I am hooked ( pardon the pun) My daughter's friend taught the class, She is a sweetie, I call her my other daughter, ha ha Yeah I have two old Tom Cats, they are so spoiled, One sleeps on the back of my chair when I watch tv the other on the arm of the chair or in my lap, till I tap him a few times while knitting then gets up and goes in to sleep on my bed. ha ha I am making boot toppers right now, They are crocheted, go real fast. I get alot of my patterns on line, I like to make baby things, and those crazy animal hats all the kids like. ha ha Thanks again for the yarn, and hopefully we will get to be partners again. Marcia
Response: I'm so glad you like the yarn. Do check out those books I recommended. They're good. I'll check out the ones you've listed too. I'm always looking for a book to read.
Thanks for the heart. Pet your Toms for me. :)
Comment: Got it! Thank you so much~
And it's nice to meet another Washingtonian, haha! :)
I was just wondering, the little crocheted, do-dad, what exactly is it? I've never seen something like it before.
Response: It's a Tawashi or Tribble. It's a little, cotton scrubby sponge.
Glad you liked the package. Enjoy the rain and seasons up there. I love fall!! My fav!
Comment: Oh my gosh, I never realized how many WONDERFUL things you can fit in an envelope with 2 stamps! Thank you SO much for all of the little treasures you tucked into the 'Fill Up My Mailbox AGAIN' swap! Stickers, Seaglass, Halloween goodies, blank bookmarks/postcard, personalized note & (my favorite!) the hand-knitted soap sack, which looks like a perfect fit for my cell phone. ;) I can't wait to get creative and decorate the blank bookmarks/postcard. Thank you for your generosity. You are an amazing swap partner and I would give you more hearts if I could! <3 <3 <3
Response: You are welcome. I do tend to go overboard...but I have so much fun with this!
Thanks for the hearts! :)
Comment: I <3 <3 this! What a great idea. Also I love the inchies. I'm working on framing some and wanted more fandom ones to add to my collection you can't have too many TARDISes(?) in your house! The yarn is great too. The blue is so so pretty
Response: Yea! I'm so glad you liked everything! That makes me happy. :)
Comment: Thank you! So cute! Everything is wonderful.
The container is neat. I've been thinking about mailing stuff in plastic containers but didn't know if twisting a screw lid on would be sufficient or if I needed to add tape. I appreciate being able to see something prepped for future reference.
Response: Glad you liked it. I had received another swap in that tube. I thought it was cool so I had to pass it on. :)
thanks for the heart.
Comment: I love the little yoyo flowers -- is there a tutorial out there? Thanks also for the lovely knitted ones -- I love the pink 5-petaled one and the big red rose in particular. I wasn't expecting knitted flowers (I think of them being a crochet thing somehow) and I really enjoyed seeing them :)
Response: I used a template I found at Hancock fabrics. Very fun. They had other shapes too.
Thanks for the heart.
Comment: As they say .....SQUUEEEEEE lol Oh how I wish I could give you a million hearts! The scarf and hat are absolutely amazing, beyond awesome! Comment: Josh was so excited to get everything, and he's already put all the decorations up...even though Halloween is a month away! The whole box was perfect, thank you so much for putting so much thought into this to make his day better!!!
Comment: Awesome package! My kids were on those stickers in no time and now I need to exercise self-control for all that candy. :) And the bag is pretty cool; looking forward to finding uses for it. Thanks you!
Response: Oops. I never responded.
I'm glad you liked the package and thanks for the heart!
