Comment: Thanks for the postcard! I really enjoy how you included a dictionary page - one of my favorite pieces of ephemera to use in my mixed media! I also love the last prompt about self-affirmations. I think I'm going to get alot of inspiration from that this round! :)
Response: I totally agree! I'm excited about coming up with more affirmations. I'm glad you liked the dictionary page. I just bought that old french to english dictionary so I'm planning to use it lots! :)
Comment: Thanks for the super awesome postcard! I love your handwriting. Cold case is a great show. I watch it whenever i have nothing else to watch. Who is your favorite person on that show? I hope I'm thinking about the same show as you! 😁
Comment: Hey there Kelsey! Received your PC today and thank you very much, for the such pretty view of an ocean. Which is my favorite thing! Thank you also, for telling me what is the most beautiful place. I don't think your answer is unusual, not at all. I have go with on that, being 3000 feet in the air. I do know the feeling of being up in the air. It's pure freedom! When my dad was alive, he owned a single engine plane & my siblings & I went places a lot with him. I'm the oldest ( btw ). But I went more times than anyone & he taught me how to fly it & I flew it many times. I miss it so much. When my dad passed, my mother sold the plane. I cried & cried and I never forgave her for it. Because he Willed it to me. Oh well, Water under the bridge now. Take care and Happy Holidays!
Comment: Loved the very full postcard and the fun vintage stamps just put it over the edge! Thank you!!! Your handwriting is lovely! 😍 I hope you’re having a great November as well! Happy Thanksgiving! 💕Debbie, Iowa
Comment: Wow! I haven't ever seen a hot air balloon that looked like the moon. It's beautiful!! I hope someday to see one in that design in real person. There's big hot air balloon race in Reno (close) but you have to go at like 5 am to get the full experience. So far I haven't been that hardcore. When I lived up there I would sit on my porch and watch them all go by around 8 am. So many fun designs.
Response: Wow that's so cool! I think I've seen pictures of that one before!
Comment: Kelsey, I love the Halloween PC of Zombie! Thanks very much! Good luck with your move. I hate moving! Esp. the packing up. But we don't have to do that ever again & we own our own house for the last 12 years now.
Comment: Thank you for the super cool Joshua Tree pc. That is one of my favorite national parks. I used to live in LA and we visited and were there for sunset. So gorgeous. The vintage cacti stamps that match the theme were the perfect touch. The sticker you included of a living room with a cactus looking out into the night sky is crazy cool too! Where did you get that? Love it!
Comment: I received your postcard! I love The Secret to My Success!! Great Movie. And Michael J Fox.... He is amazing! I love Back to the Future too!! It is amongst my favourite movies :) He is Canadian, from B.C. I believe (which is the most Western Province) - I am in Ontario, so more Central-East.
Comment: Hi Kelsey (again!- I LOVED your song selection PC a coupla months back)!
It was interesting to read about Reston - I had no idea! But I did grow up in Richmond & remember “Colored” water fountains & bathrooms. (I’m older than Reston), so Reston’s history is heartening! Thank you for the postcard. And I,love your handwriting!
Comment: Too funny that you went to school near me and now live in Reston! Thank you so much for the postcard! If you are into postcard collecting, I am part of a Postcrossing Meetup group here in the Metro area. We meet several times a year and have a great time!
Comment: Thanks Kelsey! I love the Biltmore PC! Oh! The glass eye would be interesting… My worst date was in high school. A guy from another town invited me to his Prom. He was 6”10(overly tall) I am 5”7. I knew he was tall and was fine with it, but he wasn’t and kept asking his friends to dance with me. And all the girls at our table were super snobs and I felt left out. I saw him a few years later at Unoversity and he was with a girl at least6”2 and I felt happy for him. BTW- his name was Mike Meyers.
Comment: Thanks for the Travelers Food & Books postcard. Looks like a bookstore that I’d like to visit! I just finished “The Leavers” by Lisa Ko. It started off slow, but then it picked up and was worth the read.
Comment: Hello Kelsey, thank you very much for your wonderful postcard and the TV recommodation! It's looks interessting an I have now both shows on my watchlist to try them out! ^-^
Have a great day,
Comment: Thank you for the sweet note, it really touched my heart :). I take a lot of pride in myself, at being where I am in life despite my disabilities and hardships. It makes me feel strong on good days, knowing that I have survived 100% of my worst days. :)
Stay strong. Know that you aren't alone, and if you ever want to talk, just drop me a message any time. :)
Response: Thanks Mal! I’m so happy my note meant so much to you! :)
Comment: This swap made my day! The Worst is Yet to Come is beyond perfect for how things are these days and especially for the theme of this swap! I had to show it to my family it gave me such a chuckle. The way you did the washi and the fox sticker are so cute! Your handwriting is pretty impressive too. Lovely swap! Thank you!
Comment: Are you a graphic designer? Your postcard was written so creatively! The postcard is cute for the swap, too. It was fun reading your choices (I’ll have to look up that Dave Brubeck) and the creativity is inspiring. Thanks, Kelsey!
Response: Haha I wish I was a graphic designer! Postcards are my only creative outlet these days. Thanks for the rating! :)
Comment: Thank you for the Niagra Falls pc and your worst vacation story. That sounds like a horrible trip! It reminds me of a couple of trips that I had forgotten about that I took with an aunt years ago. Guess I wiped them out of my memory! Take care!
Comment: Thank you! We used to go on cruises pretty regularly and had always dreamed of living in Florida where we could take advantage of last minute cruise deals. Now that we live in Florida, I'm not so sure we'll be taking a cruise any time soon. :(
Comment: Thank you! We just moved to Florida, and I haven't adjusted to the humidity enough to find a trail! When it cools down a bit, I'll get out there and explore. My top three hikes were in Alakai Swap in Kauai, the Narrows in Zion, and Little Lakes Valley in the Sierra Nevadas.
Comment: Hello Kelsey! Thank you very much for the Lion PC. I hope your children's birthdays, this past week went really well & were lots of fun! Of my 5 adult children, I only have one born in August. Which is August 18th & he is my 4th child & will be 33. I also have a grand daughter with an August birthday August 29th & she will be 10 years old and grandson who already turned 13 August 1st.
Comment: Thank you for the Outer Banks postcard - we just went there a couple of weeks ago! Also LOVE the seashell stickers! I still have that sheet from Stickii because they are too pretty to use hahaha. I was happy to see them on your card. :)
Comment: Thank you for the adorable sticker slapped postcard! I loooove Keroppi and Tuxedo Sam so I absolutely adored it! I also really liked the cute frog on the hanging swing! Might I ask where you got that sticker from, it's so cute!
Comment: Yes! This camper race pc is perfect as is. I wouldn't have added anything else either! I don't do much of this realistic photo style of collage, but there's a guy in my friends who does. Making you can find him, Sid Deluca. He had one of a vacuum cleaner sucker up people on a beach 😆. Love your pc and the vintage stamps, thanks!
Response: Thanks for the recommendation! I like his style! I’m glad you liked what I created!! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful book store postcard, Kelsey. I like it a lot:-) And I'm curious about the "Two can keep a secret" murderer now:-) I will definitely read the book, too:-)
Actually, I don't have a favorite author. I like Jussi Adler Olsen thrillers, and one book by Karine Giebel (I think in English, the title is Just a Shadow but I'm not sure) left me breathless. And the end was so unexpected to me. I was thinking about the book several days after I finished it, and that doesn't happen to me very often:-)
Response: I can’t wait to check these out!! Thanks :)
Comment: Really loved the "S"aw card and thrilled to get a card from the lego set! I like these! I liked reading your answers and also the stamp you used. The nurse Clara Maass. I watched a video about her on youtube and she gave her life by volunteering to get bitten by an infected mosquito with yellow fever so she could help find the cure. I love researching the stamps I get and really enjoyed learning about this one! Thank you!
Response: You're so welcome!! Wow that's so cool that you do research about the stamps! I should start doing that too!
Comment: Thanks so much for the awesome card! I actually had a lobby with my Congressional representatives as a volunteer for Planned Parenthood today, so it's a great time to be reminded of all the amazing feminist activist history I'm building on the legacy of!
Response: Wow that's so cool! It's such important work!
Comment: Thank you so much! I'm guessing your false statement is that you like hot pickles. Also I know how dangerous bike tricks are. My cousins like to have killed themselves more than once on a bike. LOL! Have a wonderful day!
Response: I actually love hot pickles. I eat them almost every day! I saw a funny video about them and got some as a joke but I'm addicted now! LOL :)
Comment: I absolutely love you!
You have just sent me the best postcard I have ever received! You have no idea but this card will be hung on my desk or maybe taped down to my lap desk.
I eat blue claws every single weekend in the summer when they fatten up! Too early and they are not meaty.
My eldest daughter and I would eat them every weekend together. Finally we said uncle! Had to take a break from Maryland blue claws.
I think blue claw crab 🦀 is the best food on the planet. 10 times better than Maine lobster.
I can pick them clean. No meat left in the bones or skeleton when I am done.
I can t thank you enough for this card.
Made my day. When I was there I did not see this card or I would have bought many
Response: Wow what an honor! This makes me so happy!!! I’m so glad this postcard made your day! :) Thanks so much for the rating!!
Comment: Thank you much for the Ram PC. Yup, I am a huge fan of Enya. What a beautiful voice! Huh, I thought I was the only one to do that, take bath while playing Enya. I'm glad I'm not alone, hee hee!
Comment: Such a lovely postcard with a Gorgeous view on it thank you. In reply to your message if you haven't already Marie force Gansette Island series are a good series of romance novels, I got hooked on them from the first book. She has written many of them and some other series too, so I would defo recommend you try them, you can usually get the first one for free as an E-book its called Maid for Love. xoxo
Response: Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check it out! :)
Comment: Drooling over everything, from the postcard, to the sticker, to the stamp, to your lovely note. Thank you so much! Hopefully when things open back up, you can continue your work towards being an end-of-life doula! That is amazing! :D Take care!
Response: Yayyy I'm so glad you appreciated the PC! I love whenever I can coordinate the stamps and decor! Thanks for the encouragement! I hope to get back to it some day! :)
Comment: Thank you for the great PC! I was able to read so many books because I quit FB & Instagram - so at night when I can't sleep I read instead of scrolling! Although I started up on Instagram again last month and have definitely noticed the distraction taking away from my book count :( but I miss seeing pictures haha!
Response: I totally understand that! I think my one last vice is Pinterest. You can sit there all day scrolling lol. Thanks for the rating!
Comment: I want your handwriting SO bad!! Its nice and neat and just plain lovely.
I want to be known for nonconformity too. What a wonderful answer. Thanks so much for the PC. Not sure what it was about the guy on the front but he makes me laugh. It is so preposterous maybe :D
Response: Wow thanks so much! I blame my handwriting on the good pens! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the PC. Your rating really brightened my day!!
Comment: THANKYOU for the lovely flowerPC,
“... than go with a boy, or two”. That sing is probably going to be stuck in my head all day now!
31st March update. Thanks for the two blank PCs as well! I didn’t even notice that the first one didn’t match the description!
Response: Oh man, now it's back in my head too! Haha thanks for the rating! :)
Comment: Thanks for the fun PC. My grandchildren will love it.
My wife and I were always Huey Lewis fans. We had tickets to his concert in 1985 but, when the sitter got there, our 3yo daughter was vomiting, so I stayed with her while my wife and the babysitter went to the show.
Response: Wow! That would've been such a great time to see him. Sorry that didn't work out! Thanks for the rating.
Comment: What a fantastic PC! I loved your description of Nantucket; I just might need to plan a visit! I really enjoy this swap as I get to travel vicariously! Thanks for sending my way!
All the best,
Comment: Thank you for the postcard, I am so happy to here you are receiving such great support! Expressing it with words..then speaking them helps to diminish some of the pain. Good for you, proud of you!
Comment: Thank you for the Cinderella 1950 postcard. That is a new one to me! Yes, I did see the Masked Dancer and it was better than I thought it would be. It's always fun to guess, but I don't know a lot of the younger stars so usually have to use google to see who they are. Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the lego golf pc and your list of skills. I was excited to see the lego pc as my grandsons are avid lego fans. I loved playing legos with them when I sat with them after school. With the pandemic, I haven't been able to do that for a year. Soon I hope. I too, cross-stitch and I'm very impressed that you play the ukulele. Lock picking would be a great skill to have! :) Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous postcard 😍 I absolutely adore RPDR but I haven’t seen the announcements for AS6! I will wait and let the surprises come to me ;) Looking soooo forward to the Aussie season too!!
Comment: Hi Kelsey,
I apologize for being slow in rating, but please know you were not forgotten. Thank you for the Fabulous ATC you created for the swap Color Me HappyATC #3. I look forward to adding your ATC to my ATC Collection.I loved your images that you chose to put on the Red ATC.
I hope we get to swap in the future. I met a lot of new swappers during 2020 and it has been that way in 2021. Until we meet to swap again, Happy Swapping!
Colorado mail in and out of the state continues to be an issue. Please be Patient! Thank you!
Comment: Love your colorful card and so also your stamps! Thanks for your well wishes, I'm pretty sure it will work out in the end. Yes reenactment is really nice, have seen some Cival War reenactment on TV and it was so cool, loved the uniforms, outfits and the canons.
Comment: Thank you very much for the awesome swap - love your collaged ATC! How neat you personalized the notecard with my name :) And thank you for the Netflix recommendation - I will be checking it out for sure.
Comment: Aloha and thank you so much for my Leggo RAMEN PC (how cool) and then it got better w/Ramen noodle cup stickers on the back. ❤️❤️ I eat ramen for breakfast & I'm not afraid to show it! xxMuggleMom
Comment: Thank you for your PC, your note and the quote. Indeed time to dream again :)
I think also that it's the way that we need to live, less stress, more time for us, time with our companion/family ( without the fact that we cannot do anything we want, travel, theater, music, going eat outside,...). It must be all the nice things in the life that we need to live :)
Life is too short!
Comment: I quite fancied the music! Dig the disco vibe, as you stated, and the disco vibe is why I like the artist Jamiroquai so much. Some of these tracked sounded familiar and my daughter knew some of the artist. Was funny, a few hours after playing through the songs, we were walking the mall and Dua Lipa was playing over the speaker. =) THanks for the recommendations and cool Lego postcard!
Comment: Hi Kelsey! I love mail too! I enjoyed reading your note card. My niece doesn't understand how I can write to strangers. But, I figure we aren't strangers ~ just friends that haven't yet met! Thanks for your birthday wishes & also the very cute extra mail style note card/envelope. Love the stickers too. I wish you all the best ~ Judy
Response: Aww I love that! Friends that haven't met yet! :)
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC. We have been to Germany but not Berlin; drove around New Orleans for an hour and have visited Rhode Island several times. I want to get to Scotland. My father's side of the family traces back to Berwick Shire. I thought that was a blast, having grown up in Berwick and now living in South Berwick, Maine.
Response: Wow! You're the second person in this swap to tell me that you were only in New Orleans for 1 hour!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I've been to New Mexico (My daughter liked the dinosaur museum in Tucumcari, and I liked looking at the Breaking Bad locations in Albuquerque.) and New Orleans (for maybe an hour). I really want to visit the east coast.
Response: Wow! Another one of my partners in this swap told me he had only been to New Orleans for an hour as well! Crazy!
Comment: Thanks for the great card and fun sticker. I agree with your advice, it sounds much like mine :-) I just want to say, your penmanship is delightful, it makes me happy just to look at it. Wishing you well :-)
Response: Wow thank you so much for saying that about my handwriting! I love writing and I'm so glad it brings someone else joy!!
Comment: Hi! thanks for the fun book postcard and the recommendations. I have put 2 of them on my list to read. Also...your handwriting is so neat.. I am curious... what type of pen do you use? i have been searching for a good fine-tip pen.
Response: You're welcome! I use KACO gel pens. You can find them on Amazon. I highly recommend them! It's the only pen I'll ever use!
Comment: Hi! Firstly, thank you so much for the postcard... it's like a reminder. I love it so much. Secondly, OMG YOUR HANDWRITING! It's so gorgeous! Thank you for the little sticker you included on the card, I love it so very much. Please stay healthy and safe!!
Response: Aww thank you so much for the nice review! This makes me so happy! :)
Comment: Thank you for the nice card and sharing how you are coping. I always enjoy having you as a partner in swaps. :) I love your handwriting and that you used purple ink, my favorite color. And thank you for the cute sticky notes. I can't wait to use them! There has been many things to be concerned and worried about this year, hopefully some of that will change or at least lessen in 2021. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that we meet again in future swaps. Take care my friend! :)
Comment: Thanks for such a great Virginia Great Falls PC. It's so great that you live just 15 min away! It must be nice to take a stroll through the park! I really loved the bike sticker...I love bikes of all kinds. Just like the sticker, I hope to add a 'yard art' bike to my collections...something with a basket where I can plant flowers in the basket. Best, Rick
Comment: Your postcard arrived today!! I loved all the extra decor on the back of the card along with your letter! I've been extra festive this year too. I hope you have a wonderful holiday week!! Merry Christmas ❤️📬
Response: I’m glad you liked it!! I loved that one too. I really took advantage of Christmas catalogs this year for postcard decor! Happy holidays!! :)
Comment: Thanks for the fun PC and the extra work on the message side.
I looked into McManus but don't think I would care for her stories. I did mention her to my wife though. Sounds like an author she would like.
Comment: Hi Kelsey ! Thank you for the flowers PC & 90's rock songs. I know all of the ones you wrote down. Dreams by Cranberries ( love it!), Just a girl by No Doubt( Love it!), and Basket Case by Green Day( Love it too!) Such great picks!
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you loved all my picks!!
Comment: First of all, the envelope was such a joy to receive. So beautiful! Secondly, your handwriting is incredible! I usually end up typing my swaps for fear no-one can read it. And thirdly, the stickers and quote are wonderful! THANKS!
Response: Yay :) I'm glad you loved everything!! I always have so much fun decorating envelopes and your name is so fun to write.
Comment: Omg! 😍💞 I love how you decorated the back side, it has such a clean and peaceful feeling. 😌 With remote learning I haven't read much other than textbook this year, but hopefully I'll get a chance over winter break! 😊
Response: Yay! I'm glad I was able to convey that feeling to you! I put a lot of thought into how I decorate PCs so it's great to hear that you loved it!! :)
Comment: Hi Kelsey, thank you for the lovely postcard! I love bookstores and books, and I haven't yet explored Edinburgh completely beyond the usual busy areas, so I haven't been to this bookstore but now I have a new place to find and check out! I'm grateful! Have a great day x
Response: Awesome! I'm excited you have a new place to check out!!
Comment: Thank you for the 'From Little Things, Big Things Grow' postcard. Love the gal in the bathrobe watering. Did you meet all of your goals? I try not to worry about news and the election, too. I watch very little news and have unfollowed several people and pages on Facebook. Too many trolls out there. Take care and thanks again!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately, I didn't make much progress on my goals last week. Hopefully I'll get myself together in November!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard, sweet message and awesome stamps! I love when I get a nice long message instead of a one liner. :) Congratulations on your 4 years of marriage! Time goes by so fast, you'll be in double digits before you know it! Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the card and gorgeous coordinating washi! So beautiful. I've been to see Paisley Park, but only the outside, and it was after he first passed. There were so many tributes tied to the trees and fencing; it was gorgeous to see all that purple love. <3
Response: Wow that's awesome! I'm so jealous! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Your handwriting is absolutely beautiful! I took a year off Postcrossing and I decided to resume this awesome hobby in late August. I ran out of things to do at home, caught up with my class works, and watched everything I could possibly watch online. I'm really glad I joined swap-bot! Thank you for this awesome Giza postcard!
Response: Thanks Hazelle! It's definitely a great hobby during this time.
Comment: You made a very nice scene! It's cool to see how your ATCs are progressing. It's a nice piece and a very different style than your first two. It came out really well. I hope you continue to experiment and have fun making ATCs!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I think I'm going to stick with it! Thanks for the encouragement!
Comment: Thank you for reaching out and for emailing me the letter when it didn't reach me. We are the same personality type. Thanks for sharing your experience with the test.
I received your envelope of extras. Thank you so much. You are so sweet for sending. I loved your email and the decor on your envelope. You are very creative!
Response: Thanks Ana! I'm glad you liked it! Thanks again for your patience!
Comment: Thank you very much Kelsey for the Sunflower postcard and your nice note. I honestly enjoy the notes more than PC. Mainly because, I like to know that everyone is alright during these horrible times.
Comment: I really love what this piece is about--it's a really creative take on the idea of returning. I love the nostalgia it makes me feel for the slogan of "be kind rewind" and how many of these movies bring that nostalgia back to me, too!
Comment: THANK YOU! First of all, your handwriting is beautiful. I am inspired to try a little harder :). Secondly, I loved all the cute little goodies. Wow, I feel spoiled. And lastly, I LOVED the letter. I love reading about the good in others lives. Happy Fall!
Response: You're so welcome!! I'm glad you like everything! And your name is fun to write. :)
Comment: WoW! Talk about awesome!!?!? Thank you so much for creating a fun little way of presenting your answers. So creative!! It was really great going through and looking at your answers. BTW - you sound cool too!! I think we could be great friends if we ever live in the same state :) Hope to see you in future swaps!!
Response: Aww this made my day! Thanks so much for your kind words! It was super fun to put it together! :)

Response: You’re so welcome!! I’m glad you loved that sticker!
Comment: Thank you for the sweet card and all the yellow stickers! Dachshunds are the best - so cute and mischievous! Thankfully we're safe from the fires and everything is back to normal now :) Thank you and happy swapping! <3
Response: You're welcome! I'm happy to hear your community is safe again now!
Comment: Thanks for the fun PC and the cool Steinbeck sticker! I love your handwriting! Mine is huge, so it can be hard to write so small, but I should learn! You can fit so many more words on the back!!!! Happy swapping!
Response: You’re welcome! Haha I guess I have a lot to say! :) I’m glad you liked it!
