Comment: I have sooo many Florida map postcards...Grrrr!!! You will love The Book Thief. It is unlike any book I've ever read because of the narrator. I'm from PA and I have never been to Scranton. 🙀 Have a good rest of the summer! Theresa
Comment: Thank you so much your swap reached maine safe and this is weird it came with a card from my grandmother from lakeland ... Love the coffee print thing did you make it or buy that.. I was thinking about trying to make some??
Comment: So funny that you got me again! I actually moved about a year and a half ago, but I'm going to be moving again in another 6 months or so. I knew that was the plan so I hadn't been swapping, which is why I completely forgot to change my address when I started swapping again recently. I'm like you when it comes to hoarding supplies - especially my stickers. I'm trying to learn to use them - they don't do any good just sitting there gathering dust! Thanks for the goodies! Where did you get those little envelopes?
Response: I can't remember what little envie I used! - the manilla ones are left over from when I was teaching, but any fun color ones are ones I made.
Comment: Hello April,
Thank You For the great postcards you sent for the Non-Touristy Postcard Scavenger Hunt. These postcards will be a great addition to my postcard collection.
Comment: I love this card! I would love to see Paris! Thank you! If you can't get your daughter in a Montessori school, find the book: " Teaching Montessori in the Home" and you can incorporate some Montessori ideas into her playtime at home.
Comment: Hi ~ love the postcard picture, not sure where you would have found it. Yes, it's been a relaxing day, have spent most of it on swap-bot correspondence and rating swamps, which I do enjoy! Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your family. Thanks for the cool pc, take care, Judy
Response: It was a piece of junk mail! :) glad you like it.
Comment: I don't even know where to start on how awesome this package was. The envelopes are beautiful, I love purple. My 2 year old tried to run off with the taffy and elephant card, lol. And the postcards! I squealed like a 5 year old! I wish I could give you more than one heart because I can see a lot of care went into this swap. :) Thank you for all the fun things and for making my day!
Response: I have a tiny 3 year old thief too! She steals my swap treasures all the time I'm glad you loved everything. It was a fun swap!!
Comment: Thank you April for the wonderful envelope full of goodies. You did a great job with the spring theme.I love the postcard with the mandala of bugs. The postage stamps on the envelope were even great.
Response: Themes are always fun for me when. I have cool stuff to combine! Glad you liked it.
Comment: Thanks for everything, but most especially the French and Japanese scrip paper money. Love, love, love them!!!! I search for these year round in antique malls and festivals and rarely find any. You are the best to share it with me, simply the best!
Comment: Such a beautiful beach postcard! Thank you, April!! YES I'm so excited for warmer weather - it's pretty chilly still here in NJ but warmth is just around the bend... and with that means intense HUMIDITY! BLAH!! LOL
Comment: The ATC was beautiful. The story while sad was also inspirational about how the towns people knew the little girl and her fondness of birds. A fantastic addition to my collection. Thank you!!!
Response: I'm glad you like it and the story behind it! :)
Comment: Hi April!
Thank you!! gotta say I LOVE the old west and Buffao Bill is up there with my favs!!!
Ah I love that you are a Doctor Who fan who loves DONNA!! She is definitely my all time fav!!!
Comment: Thank you for the cool card. Better not let the children of the world know the town shuts down schools for two weeks. They'll all want to move there. That's better than a snow day. LOL.
Response: We don't get snow days, but occasionally we get a hurricane day!
Comment: Thank you for the manatee postcard. Yea, its true that we aren't at a shortage for sea life postcards in Florida. Both partners in this swap sent me manatee greetings from Florida. Guess its telling me its time to visit the manatee observation area, its only about 3 miles from home- but it's been so busy over there last couple times I went.
Response: I really want to go swim with them some day - Its not that far away, maybe when my toddler is a better swimmer I'll make it a priority!
Comment: I am so excited to give a heart to another Lakelander! Very amazing that a random pairing brought us together! I followed you on IG, and I think I might actually remember you from when I was a vendor at the Downtown Farmers Curb Market. Did you buy a lot of soap from Sharon The Soap Magician? My booth was right next to her's (Swan City Stitchery). :)
Response: Lol yes that's me! Super small word! I'm off to IG stalk you now!! :) I have another local friend who meets me at the poor porker and we write postcards or letters together.
Comment: Thank you for your card and note. This is one of my favorite swaps - I love sending these out.
That sounds so neat about you spinning and dying your own yarn.
I, too, at times will turn on NetFlix and find a show to keep me company while I am either cutting out or sewing a pile of costumes. Usually, its Criminal Minds :)
We have a Comic Con coming up in a month so we will be creating for that over the next few weeks! :)
Response: I'm looking forward to the next one of theses swaps. It was a fun simple one. Criminal minds always sucks me in too. :)
Comment: What a great job you did on your tangle. I love how you designed all of the card. Thank You very much. Also I really appreciate that you took the time to read my profile. Great swap partner. : )
