Comment: Yay, I received your nice letter and extra stuff! Sorry to see that your typewriter ribbon died (and don't worry, it's happened to me, too). I appreciate everything and yes, we do have a lot in common! I'd love to swap letters sometime...
Response: Contacted and send packet on it's way. :)
Comment: Everybody deserved a second change and this time round I would like to say THANK YOU A MILLION for your package. This is wonderful!!! Thank u a million. I love the owl, very pretty and you made it by urself!!! I can say that you have talent for it :) Thank you darling :) Appreciate it
Response: Good! I'm so glad that you received it and enjoyed it! :)
Comment: :) Thanks so very much for the really wonderful journal you put together for this swap!! I've read a few pages already and really like what you had done with it so far!! You've given me lots of new ideas to do with future journals. :) Thanks again and happy swapping!
Comment: Horrible partner. Didn't mark it sent until Jan. 15 (send date was Jan. 7). I contacted her previously and she said she just didn't have time to mark it as sent. That one got lost in transit I guess (though I have my doubts it was even sent...), so she resent and I got it to find the baggie was about 1/5 full with items, some bent up, some not even kawaii. I was confused as to what actions I should take as this was the first time something like this has happened, so I got advice over a few days about it before contacting her. I messaged her saying that the swap I got did not meet requirements and she replied saying she didn't have much kawaii, so no resend (why join kawaii swaps, then?)... I suggested she resend it later when she has more kawaii or send a profile-based baggie instead (as suggested when asking for advice). She got offended and fed up with it, saying it was out of line for me to ask for a profile-based baggie, as well as angry at me for taking too long to tell her I received the resend. She told me that swap-bot is about filling mailboxes and having fun, but NOT meeting the requirements is barely filling my mailbox and not fun in the least. EDIT: Swap says "Fill up a sandwich size Ziplock bag with kawaii goodies! No Disney, Morning Glory, Diddl, My Little Pony, Betty Boop, etc." Pictures of what I received can be found on my flickr photostream, showing that the bag is in fact no where NEAR full (Links: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kaylinbrit/6853931853/in/photostream, http://www.flickr.com/photos/kaylinbrit/6853931571/in/photostream). Response: I am not going to rant and rave here. If anyone wants to see the harassing messages I got leading up to this rating or hear my side of the story, I will certainly share. Swap partners like this are the reason I stay away from public swaps. You just can't please some people.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely notecard & letter about you. I was sad to hear of your loved one passing at such a young age. I too believe there is a reason for everything. Congrats on your 'promotion', & good luck with the rabbit introductions. I bet they'll love that. Take care ;)
Response: Glad you enjoyed the notecard and thanks!
Comment: You have beautiful handwriting :) You're so lucky to have a kindle, they're awesome. But I have absolutely no spare time to read, so buying one wouldn't help me much. Hope you have fun with your knitting! :)
Response: Glad you enjoyed it! My favorite thing about my Kindle is the ability to listen to the book and still have the page to look down at if something sounds odd or I need clarification. Makes it wonderful for multi-tasking. ;)
Comment: Oh wow I was s uper confused when I got your notecard because the other person to send to me sent me a VERY similar card haha Anyway yes I would like to write you, I will get a letter out to you soon :D
Response: So exciting! How amusing that we sent similar cards! :)
Comment: Love the cute stationery. Are they furry boating peanuts, do you think?
Sorry for the rating delay. I am buried in an avalanche of paper. Hopefully this New Years weekend I will be able to dig myself out of the mess.
Comment: Hiya! Got the Instant Book about a half hour ago! Really really love it, funnily enough it was quite similar to the one I made and sent. Love the style and love the book blank you sent too, It makes me think of Elmer the elephant!
Response: Wonderful, glad to hear you received it and you enjoyed it. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful assortment of stationery! And thank you also for including a little something for my son! I'm really flattered that you'd love to have me as a new penpal and I wish I could accept, but I'm not allowing myself to have new penpals for at least the next year! I'm way too busy with my new stationery store - and I feel like I've been neglecting my current penpals for the past year or so... I hope you understand! But thanks for the offer and I hope to get you as a partner in another swap so that I can spoil you! :) Julie xox
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed your package and hope your son enjoyed his goodies as well. I completely understand and appreciate your honesty with the pen pal request. :-)
Comment: LOVE, LOVE the Halloween card! It is so me!! The extra notecard is great and what a story you have behind it! I am sure I will watch the story some day on Ghost Hunters. Have a Spooktacular Halloween. Hugs, Mona
Comment: OHHHHH its beautiful! thanksyou - what a PERFECT color for me...I LOVE the fabrics and notions bag - already want to give you a heart - and thats without unravelling the magic ball!!- OHh I sooo want to go start something with it now!!!- thankyou so much!!
Response: Glad you loved it so much! I totally cheated and unwound mine because I couldn't wait to see what was inside and don't know what I'm going to make with it yet.
Comment: I can see why you didn't want to part with this notecard! It's very pretty and unique. I will be writing in it and sending it back your way soon. I also loved your note and the way you decorated the outside of the envelope you sent everything in!
Response: I got my notecard back today! What a treat. You have beautiful handwriting and I am going to enjoy using the stamps. :-)
Comment: Opening your swap was a joy, what a surprise! You went way and above the swap requirements, everything inside was so beautiful. I loved everything you picked and I think I can't bear to use them! Thank you so much! xoxo. :-)
Comment: I can't tell you how much I love the journal you made! Seems like we have the same taste! And thank you for the Hello Kitty and flower extras! I'm going to read it over and over and keep it with my special stuff! Thanks so much!
Comment: OMG - I wish I could give you 3 hearts!!! HOW CRAZILY ADORABLE!!! I LOVE IT!! Unfortunately, the box came a little smooshed in the mail (bubble wrap can protect against that in the future), but it wasn't anything that a little glue and tape couldn't fix! This was so creative and ingenious! It's like a little bedroom! I may steal your idea for the next swap!! And the paper doll and her outfits are so teeny tiny! How did you manage to draw and cut them all out! It must have been a lot of work! THANKS AGAIN!!!
Response: So glad you loved it, that is what happens when my lady and I put our heads together. I knew I wanted to do a tiny paper doll and she came up with the idea for the travel case. :-)
