Comment: what an awesome package!! All the wonderful extras and the card and story were great!! That was so neat that you sent me the paper on mudras - I just started reading about them. You are a wonderful swapper and an appreciated member of Transcendence!!! xoxooxoxoxo peace and blessings!
Response: Thank you!!!! I had an impulse to send the Green Tara practice to you.
Comment: Pretty. What size pen are you using? .01? Added: I don't understand your comment, I gave you a heart in our previous swap.
Added: Out of 4 swaps that you have received from me, you gave me 1 heart, and I suspect that was because you felt bad that you made me do it over. This is the explanation for my comment. Please know that my comments are not to be taken as argumentative: I am now simply whining. Any swapper reserves the right to give a heart or not as they please. I reserve the right to whine as loud as I want to if I feel that I''ve given a WONDERFUL piece and do not receive a heart. Please don't take the situation seriously, as SwapBot is FUN, even whining is a pleasure!!!! :)
Comment: awesome job, and I LOVE trees! I can see where this would be challenging. You must have felt a sense of accomplishment when you got it the way you wanted it. Thanks so much for the elephants and the belt too! Love! :-)
Response: You are very welcome. I'm happy you liked it!!! :)
Comment: I received my BEAUTIFUL moomin twinchies..... got them last week and rated you....but wanted to go back and add something today and found that what I rated went away..... somewhere in cyber space.... I absolutely LOVE my little MY twinchies!!! I too have a bit of her in me when I am feeling really FRISKY.... and the card that you did with the giraffe and her well that is going to find a FRAME and be put on the wall.....YOU have REALLY made me smile and I thank you.....I wish I could give more than an HEART.... I would!

Response: I'm sooo glad you liked the drawings. I love to draw Moomins, especially Pikku Myy, with her intent, focused expression. The giraffe was just for you!!!!! <3
Comment: Wow! Your package was like 3 swap worth. I love it how you wrote each butterfly name. They are gorgeous -I have to think how I will use them. And your spinning sample is so sweet! Thank you for all the extras too.
Comment: Thank you so much for the extra special package! Now I feel ashamed that I wasn't able to include such special extras for you. I adore the mandala, something new is always good! I will be writing you back soon about a private swap and everything else! <3
Response: So glad you liked it, I was a bit worried! Yours is so beautiful it needed no extras. :)
Comment: Thanks for the gorgeous zentangle! Interesting patterns and you used an incredible color palette. Love this series -- it is so challenging! I am delighted with all the ephemera too -- very unusual stuff that will be fun to use. Excellent swap! <3<3<3<3<3
Response: Glad you liked it!!!! I never know... :)
Comment: Hello and THANK YOU enormously for such an awesome package you've sent to me! I love everything, and I mean everything inside (and outside, for that matter, too). ;D Learning more about the flags was totally interesting, and profile surprises are... just beyond words. :) Thank you thank you thank you! A bunch of hearts for you!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful zentangle! I love that center details and all the great patterns you used. The the extras are very profile specific and will be used with delight. Looking forward to more of this series! <3<3<3
Comment: The card is soooo adorable ^0^ Thank you so much! It makes me want to stretch out my hand and pet the orange cutie ^.^ Loved the 'bubbles' decoration too! And the extras, especially the fish, wow ^0^ Will you host more Moomins swaps?
Response: Thank you. I love the Moomins, they're my favorite ones to make... Yes, I plan to host another round of 10 (of course we're getting into the more obscure characters now) when my work is over -- begin in June. You ready for more?
Comment: Thank you for the very cool zentangle AND the extras. Sorry it took so long to rate. The envelope went to another house a couple of street over and it just got to me today. Dang postal service and lazy person for not just dropping it off to me.
Anyway........I really appreciate
Response: Thank you Deeno. I love to send to you! Hugs. :)
Comment: Love getting mail from you ^.^ You always have such nice ideas with paper! And it's always great to see different interpretations of things you did ^.^ I didn't even think that you could look at a Hattifnattener from the back ^0^ Thank you so much!
Response: Thank you. That's the nicest complement I have ever gotten! Hugs. :)
Comment: Wow, just wow - I got your zentangled tulip today, and it really is just great, I love it, thank you so much! Also thank you for the extra goodies, and hosting the swap :) Happy swapping - and that was a very nice card!
Comment: Ohh happy mail daaaaay ^0^ Totally love your Mymble, so bright and cheerful!! Feel like dancing suddenly too ^.^ Thank you also for the cute papers and box and everything else that makes your mail so awesome! (I'm going to my parents' home soon and will get some of my Moomins books to re-read ^.^ )
Response: Thank you Darja, it's always a pleasure to both receive from and send to you! Hugs!
Comment: Loved it! Great work, really cool that you used a non-fiction book, and thanks for all the extra stuff too. I was more excited about making than receiving this one, but your package was such a delight to open! Thank you!
Response: Thanks for your kind words. I loved this swap too, I'd never done anything like this before, and was happily surprised at the results!
Comment: Loved the postcard, never been to Pennsylvania but heard its beautiful, would love to visit someday. I bet the kids will really get a kick out of the pc you sent them with street lights like kisses. Can't believe you are from Arkansas? We are almost neighbors. Thanks again for the card. Lee Ann (dreamcrafter)
Response: I'm from Pennsylvania, but live in Arkansas. Thanks for rating.
Comment: Thank you! How cool =) We do actually have a desert in Norway, but it's not a regular one, it's just big stones, and it's not very big. I don't think it's going to spread very far either, it would have to go to Sweden to do so ;P
When you cross the border between Norway and Sweden by plane you can see where the border is, no "big wall of Norway", but where the lakes begins, Norway ends. It's like someone said "all that rock and coastline is theirs, we'll take the pretty trees and lakes ;P
Response: Hah! Then the lakes were probably Sweden already...
Comment: Hello Deborah,
Thank you for the beautiful and well-crafted ATC you created for me for the Animal a-z: I Swap. I like the animal you chose--choosing something unusual, not typical like the iguana. Your ATC will be a positive addition to my Animal a-z series.
Hope the New Year is treating you well.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! That was a hard one...
Comment: Wow, you really made my day :-) The zentangle is really beautiful! The bought card is very special. And I loved the feathers! I will store them in the plastic sleeves I got from you. I will print pictures of the birds and put it behind the feathers, like I did with the prior feathers I have gotten from you. I will place these feather and pictures also next to my computer. As another extra surprise I also got 6 stamps from you for my dad. You really spoiled me! I will go Sunday to my dad, for his birthday, and give him the stamps. He will be very happy with them.
Response: Thank you so much, and I'm glad you liked the package. Give your dad a big hug from me. :)
Comment: Your zentangle is great! I love the shape of a ball and the little balls coming out of it. Thank you also for the feathers. I never saw a yellow rumped warbler and a blue jay in my life! I have several feathers myself, so if it happens that I have to send you something, I will include feathers too.
Response: I am so glad you liked the zentangle and feathers. I knew I had to send them when I saw your profile. I found the yellow-rumped warbler feathers at our dog park (50 acres!!!!) -- it had been eatenby an owl or hawk, and I gathered them. The blue jay feather is from my garden, we have jays nesting near, and when they molt I gather the fallen feathers each year.
Comment: I got it so quickly - thank you- and thanks for my original blank zentangle cards, the quality of them has put them on my wish list for xmas, they are gorgeous! (I hope you don't mind but I sent one on to my swap partner for this swap!) And yep your zentangle was a bit psychedelia! But still brilliant and fine penmanship. I am in awe at your designs- they just seem to come together, whereas mine still look a bit hit and miss! thanks for hosting this swap, and thanks for swapping with me. meg x
Response: Thank you for your kind words! Pass the tiles on --- that's good!!!! I like them, but I like smooth Bristol better....
Comment: Thank you! This is really lovely. Thanks for all the cool bits and pieces too, especially the zentangle tile. I've been wanting to try zentangle. Can't wait for the rest of the Moomin character swaps!
Response: Glad you liked Snufkin! Please join our Zentangle groups -- Zentangles, and NewFangled Zentangles and More. You can do zentangles I just know it. :)
Comment: The lovely ATC arrived today!
I love the attention to detail, and the way you illustrated a particular scene from one of the books. Thanks so much for resending, after the first one got lost en route (and for the Zentangle blank - I've never seen a 'real' one before!)
Response: Take care with the tile, they are rough and need careful erasing. Glad you liked Pikku Myy! :)
Comment: I like the way your watercolor background turned out . It's typical of how they work. You do very nice work. I also see the horse in the zen tangle. I think in in very funny ways . Some times sideways. People like us, the ones that think outside the box make the best artists.
Response: I liked this swap, and would like to do more with a watercolor background. It makes the whole thing very differently interesting.
Comment: OH Deborah! I love him!! What a great job, and i so love the "dinner" item you sent so he had a snack in the mail! lol such a treasure trove of extras, too! you ROCK!
You are spoiling me!!! we will just have to finish the alphabet ourselves!!lol
Response: I'm SO GLAD you liked that old bear. Look for an extra in the mail -- I just read your profile more carefully, thought you needed what I just now sent....:)
Comment: i learned that an excellent composition is one that is good from all angles...top bottom or side...yours is a perfect example...and is also a beautiful zentangle...thanks so much...i cannot say thank you enough for the wonderful things you sent as well...i hope i can return the favor in the future,,,thank you again
Comment: Thanks for the Zentangles. Where did you get the sleeves for them? If you haven't joined the Watercolor Swappers Group yet please do we can trade Watercolors/ Goueache paintings there too.
Response: Tess I'll write you when I return. I have the sleeves made, and am selling them -- see the comments on the right of my profile. Yes, I want to join the watercolor swappers group, that'd be GREAT.
Comment: Nice skull!! Your package was a DELIGHT to open and go through! Miss Laura's Hello Bordello?! ...Now that check... $5.... is it a fine or for a license?? Hilarious!
Response: The girls had to pay for their own monthly physician checkups. That's a replica of the receipt. Miss Laura's was a real bordello, and is now the town's visitor's center. I think that Miss Laura's was open as late as 1940.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Mathom! An apple peeler at this time of year is perfect timing! I've never had anythig from pampered chef before. I also liked the card with the runes / hobbit writing on it. :0)
Response: So GLAD you can use that mathom. It needs using....
Comment: Love your zentangle. I see you have the tile from zentangle.com. did you take the class or buy the set? let me know what you though of it. I have only been making a book of the instructions on how to do some of the patterns.
Response: I took the class, where you get a mini-kit. I also bought a set. In the future, I plan to cut my own from a smooth Bristol minimum 100#. I believe the official tile is deliberately made to discourage erasing -- even the most gentle attempts make a rough surface, very ugly. And annoying when you ruin a tile -- they're expensive. I've also had sleeves made for that size, and will sell them on Etsy when they come. I'm pretty excited about that because the little works of art can now be protected. Also the official tile surface is rough, and the smooth Bristol is so much nicer to draw on, your pen just scoots along.
Comment: Amazing ATC!! Thanks so much for your nice note and extra stickers too but I just love the ATC. You'll be getting some traded ones from me soon (you're one of my partners for my Trading ATCs! swap)... they're not as good as yours though! :)
Response: So glad you like it. That's why we trade ATCs -- the ones you don;t like, I may like....
Comment: Thanks so much - the ATC is beautiful!! Sorry you ended up sending it twice and thanks for taking the time to do that - I've put it up on the front of our rat's cage just by the roof so I see it each morning :-)
Response: No problem, I hope your rat likes it! Art for the masses!!!
Comment: Simply beautiful! and I got to learn about Namazu as well! Thank you so much!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. But I found out that the fish is a carp not a catfish. :( I'm sorry. So remember he's a carp. And I'm glad you got it, I had one lost in the mail and have lost faith in the postal system!!!
Comment: Opps---Previous rating was for another swap, sorry Deborah. I have a couple of buttons to save now, maybe for my grandson-to-be. Space was one of his dad's faves. I'm giving you a heart because you gave me a heart. Thanks.
Comment: Just received the crochet swap package. It is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! The colors are perfect. Thanks for the pattern for the heart scrubbies. Can you please let me know where you got the pattern for the dishcloth?
