Comment: Thanks Heather - could identify most of the food but what is Sati Babi??
Response: It's grilled meat on a stick. They usually serve it at fairs and things like that. Here's a recipe and picture to give you a better idea. They are seriously so good!
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers. I didn't rate before because I didn't want to read your answers before doing my own so I wasn't unduly influenced. I will have to check out "The Red Tent". Thanks!
Comment: Dear Connor,
Thank you for my letter. I will write you back, and we can be friends. You are nice. Plants vs. Zombies is my favorite, and DoodleJump. I am Ella. I am almost five, which is very big.
Comment: AWESOME WHIMSY JAR HEATHER!! I love it!! Did you make the little mummy baby?!? He is my favorite thing of all!! If so, teach me how to make him!! LOL!! Wonderful swap thank you so much!!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! It's my first Whimsey Jar so I wasn't sure how good it would be! I didn't make the string baby. Isn't it hilarious and so creepy?! It was a pair of earrings and I just removed the hooks. I got back from Santa Monica/LA today and this shop had zillions of those little string guys. I love 'em too! :D
Comment: awesome atc! thanks. I can't believe you carved that yourself... I'm hopeless when i comes to carving! love all the glitter.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! It's actually the only one I've done. I have another stamp waiting to be carved but for some reason I'm all nervous about it! Thanks for the heart and again, I'm glad you liked it! :D
Comment: I loved your ATC! It was very interesting to read your explaination of your name! I Gods and Goddess are so very interesting! Thanks for all the extra stickers too! I have glitter everywhere! :)
Response: lol sorry about the glitter! I should probably put some sort of warning label on my profile! like the opposite of people who send from "smoke free/pet free homes" - something along the lines of "ships from a glitter infested home and will probably breed glitter in yours as well - BEWARE" ;-)
Anyway, glad you liked it! :D
Comment: Oh my GOD, that ATC was funny! :D Clever background - I loved it!
Response: lol Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! :D I actually found that book in our dumpster and was like "jackpot!!" I've used it on several ATC's but I think you're the first person to notice what it says tho! ;-D
Comment: Thanks for your answers :) I had a lot of fun doing this swap and I hope you did too... just out of interest a lot of my answers were the opposite to yours! I remember reading your profile (sneaking a peek to see who was sending to me!) You are interested in lots of cool things too :) Let me know if you want to swap something, I'd be more than happy to!
Comment: I always thought Bento boxes were a cool substitution for school lunches and now I have some great places to check recipes. Thanks!
Response: They're so much better than school lunches! And, since it's not just a sammie in a ziplock kids like it alot more! Altho, at this point my son thinks that's just the way people eat lunches... but his teachers ooh and ahh! lol Anyway, I hope you find some really awesome inspiration!
Comment: Great answers. Had a hard time deciding what to give you the heart for. For liking cottage cheese with pineapple- for Pink being your favorite color- but what won out in the end was that you used the word "rad" in one of your answers. :-)
Response: Hahahahaha sorry I made the choice so tough! ;-) And big thanks for the heart! :D
Comment: Hi, Heather!!
Thanks so much for the great CD...and tell "little guy" that his artwork is "tres magnifique!"...The "maracas" are my fav!
BTW, I noticed in your profile that you missed "pop-up video"..I used to LOVE that...so smarmy and funny..who knew all that useless trivia existed!!
Thanks again for the great swap!!
--Your swap pal,
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers, Heather. I especially like the one about how do you know your mom loves you and he said "Because she says it all the time!" Too cute! Your son seems like he's a lovable character!
Comment: Thanks for the magazine! I grew up in a college town (East Lansing MI, home of Michigan State University), so I know all about both the joys and the hazards of life in that sort of environment. Tell your son I liked his drawings very much.
Response: Thanks! It's hilarious to me now.... but back then it was horrifying! I left out the part about how it made the entire school smell like cheese vomit and somehow EVERYONE knew it was me by the end of the day! :-P
Comment: Such an awesome package! I really enjoyed all the toys you picked out, especially the yeti guy, the little squishy cow, and the Tinker Bell Tattoo. I actually found some neat toys at my local Chinese Buffet for my partner too! I hope there's another swap like this in the future! Thanks again. :)
