Comment: I'm sooooo happy for you! Finishing with 84 (almost 85) completed is AMAZING! Congratulations to you! And I'm so sad for me, because I've really enjoyed reading your updates in these progress swaps. I'm proud of you and honored you shared some of your accomplishments and growth with us (I'd never heard of slacklining before-wow!). I know you'll keep up the projects and learning even without the list.
Comment: Amazing package! I love everything you sent! Not only is it all beautiful, it's informative & I've learned so much about NZ from the variety of things you've sent! Thank you SO much for sharing your amazing country with me! I am so excited to use the 2015 calendar! It's all so lovely! Thank you 10000 times!! <3 if I could, I would give you 10000000 hearts!!
Comment: Yay! The home stretch... I love your progress and am stealing a couple of your goals. I'm going to do the sketchbook one and I love the World Project. Thanks for sharing and good luck moving forward.
Comment: Great job this month! Looks like you're making great progress on your goals. I feel a little overwhelmed by the 29 gift movement thing on my list, so it's great to see you've made such progress on it; that gives me hope. Good luck with the rest of your goals in your remaining months. 4 a month is intense, but I believe you can get a lot of it done!
Comment: Sorry for the late rating. I hope your trips to Stewart Island and Milford Sound go well! It's great having friends who'll help you get your things done! Don't feel too overwhelmed; sounds like even if you don't get all of them done, you're making great progress on your goals and that number will only go up during the next 9 months. Best of luck!
Comment: I am SO sorry for the late rating! Thanks for sending your progress update. 55 completed so far! That's FANTASTIC! Congrats on the budget and tidy room-I hope that you're able to keep it tidy. I hope you are able to conquer your remaining goals! :-)
Comment: Wow, you are super busy! Congrats on your completed goals, especially the budget. I can't keep a written budget to save my life. It doesn't work. Hope your photo class goes well. I'm in school for photography at the moment. It's been amazing so far. The equipment can be expensive, but I think the end result is worth it. If you can buy used, especially at first, you should consider it. Many times photographers will sell old models when they trade up. Best of luck in February!
Response: THanks for the support and the tips! Will look into that :)
Comment: Thank you for your letter, you have some great plans for 2014. I'm glad to see you've had some success with the 101 Goals in 1001 Days. I'm thinking of trying it. Thanks you also for the lovely card. I almost don't want to use it, it's so pretty.
Response: Thank you for your kind words, I'm in the final part of my goals challenge so working hard to accomplish what I can.. Glad you like the card and thanks for the heart
Comment: You have made amazing progress on your list! This is my first month participating, so seeing how far you've come is very inspirational. We have a goal in common - doing the splits. I suspect it might take me a while to get there, but now that I know you're doing it too... I'll try a little harder!
Response: Thank you for your kind comment. :D Cool! keep me updated as it is taking me a while to get the splits but I just need to stretch more often.. look forward to hearing your progress in the future
Comment: Sounds like you liked Looking for Alaska (once you found a copy)? I love your Project 40 and am totally going to have to put that on my next list. And your amigurumi is fantastic! Great job in December!
Response: Thank you very much. December was more productive than it felt when you say it like that!
Comment: Congrats on all you progress. Sounds like you got quite a bit done even with everything going on. Good luck with the poi! I love to spin. I accidentally stumbled onto it while I was in college and fell in love. Happy spinning and good luck in December!
Response: Ooo a fellow spinner?! Thanks for the heart and the kind comment. I'm so glad for our group swaps otherwise I'd slip in progress!
Comment: Thank you for the card. The funny thing is that this card was missent to Malaysia! It's been stamped on the card. It was so nice getting a card from nz. I think that it's my first one! Thank you
Response: really? But at least it got to you!! Thank goodness :0.... Yay and thank you for the rating and heart
Comment: Thanks so much for the atc, love your hand drawn Zeus in his chariot. This arrived minutes after I'd been talking to a friend about chinese calligraphy as art, so the note you sent was a nice coincidence with it's month/day year characters (I googled it!)
Response: Great, thanks - I'm not used to drawing males so it was tricky aha.. Yea I study Japanese and with the notecard I thought I would match the theme of it. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Yay! A postcard from a "rare" country! Thanks so much for the national park card. It sounds like a beautiful place to live, but it must be tough not being allowed to have a kitty companion! I hope you're well, and I get you as a partner sometime soon, I'll tell you all about my cats haha
Response: Your welcome^^ and Thank you for the heart.
Look forward to it ~^^~
Comment: Congrats on all your goals this past month. Sounds like you had lots of fun at journey into the night. Good luck with the splits. I could do them at one point, but that was a while ago. Good luck in September!
Comment: Go you! You've done quite a bit. I know what you mean about the month just flying by. Seems like there's barely been time to do anything this month. Congrats on the flash mob. That takes guts. I can't wait to watch the video! (People are asleep now and I seem to have lost my headphones...) Good luck in September!
Comment: I really got a kick out of the flash mob video! I'm so glad you found one to participate in. Well done! The henna tattoos are lovely; my sister's from India so I learned about henna when I was young. Taking photos at the zoo was so clever! And all your physical fitness goals are so impressive. I wish you much luck!
Comment: 40--a great round number. Chocolate chip banana muffins--I would totally go off my diet for those! And you read so much this month! Well done you! I can't wait to hear about this flash mob experience :-)
Response: Hehe thanks :) It was a mission but most of the books I read were really interesting. I posted up a video link in the group forum if you want to check it out (or wait for augusts progress report) ;)
Comment: Wow! Great to see you've been doing your list for awhile now. You have accomplished a bunch of things! I hope to do so to some day . My list is still very new. .. oh and... i make pancakes all the time :P *nom nom*
Response: Yea I'm past 500 days/halfway so I'm trying my best not to leave lots to do at last minute. Just chip away at it and you'll have a big done list under your belt soon:)
Jealous I should make them more often they are simpler than I thought
Comment: Great that you're somewhere that will give you more resources/options. How neat that you're taking hiphop lessons. And I loved looking at your designs. You got more goals finished last month than I did! Well done and happy reading :-)
Response: Thanks, they all arrived at my pick up library at once so I have a LOT of reading to do before they are due back... anyway shall mean more progress for me. Hope next month will be more productive yea:D
Comment: On some level I'm jealous that you finished 4 goals last month!! Congratulations! I feel like most of us had more productive Marches than Februarys. Good thing, too, as I felt bad about so little progress in February. I had to find some Parkour video because this is the first I've heard of it. ...I'm too afraid to ever try it myself (I know my body's limits), but it does look awesome! Best of luck for the rest of April!
Response: Thanks I'm past halfway in terms of days left so I'm trying to do what I can so I don't have so much to do in the final months... Parkour is fun to watch right up my alley.. but there's a lot to learn>.<
Comment: Sooo, sooo awesome! This package was lots of fun to open. I think I opened and repacked it like 3 times. I re-experienced it with my partner last night. :)
I LOVE this little mug. The postcards are awesome, and the stamps are very cool.
Thank you so much for everything you sent, and the care you put into packing it all. LOVED the folded up green envie for the smaller things. I wish I could do things like that!
Response: I'm soo glad you like everything. I haven't sent anything like that overseas before so I thought to make sure it arrives in the same condition I sent it ;).
aha, if you like I can send you a link of how to make one... I learnt how to make if from a past swap and find it useful and creative for loose items hehe.
Can't wait to learn about the Bahamas
Comment: Thank you for the card! :) I would really love to visit New Zealand someday, but given the current situation (small child, second one coming, a puppy...) I guess I still need to wait a few years before travelling anywhere haha. I have also worked in a souvenir store in my hometown and I really loved it! It was amazing to meet so many new people, I still don't have a penpal from New Zealand, so if you are interested in exchanging letters, you can PM me your address and I will write a reply :) Have a nice day!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to comment as well as rate :D! Glad you like it <3 Maybe someday in the future (however long) you may visit this awesome country..
I shall , I would love to hear all about Finland.
Comment: :) Would you like that I answer this one? Then we'll have 2 postcards travelling not long one after another. ;)
Response: aha.. I think the one is enough.. we seem to be paired up pretty frequently in swaps anyway ;) I think I'll loose track of what I've sent/told you otherwise >.<
anyway looking forward to your next postcard :D
Comment: Thank you the envy was full of goodies.
And was that real Australian money or ... if so how much would it buy?
Response: It is a notepaper with the image of New Zealand $100 dollar bill ... New Zealand money is actually plastic ;) and has security images. The one notepaper. our $100 dollar bill could buy a lot or at least something expensive...
Your welcome and thanks for the heart :)
Comment: Thanks for the interesting Ox talisman from Jackie Chan -- never knew about it (clearly, I haven't watched enough Jackie Chan movies and I am looking forward to starting soon!) Loved the interesting New Zealand card as well -- what is that bird?!
Response: oh, it was based on an animated cartoon series about Jackie Chan. I used to love watching it as a kid and the talismans were a unique idea.
Blue bird with long legs? Pukeko I think (or it could be a takahe but I'm pretty sure its a pukeko -they look similar)
Comment: I definetly am coming to New Zealand some day! Black forest chocolate, Middle-Earth stamps (loved The Hobbit stamp!), and what else Dragons and Wizards maybe? :D
Response: So glad to hear such a positive feedback and that you liked it :D.
You will just have to come visit and see... I suggest visiting Te Papa museum and Weta workshop in Wellington for all LOTR related things ;)
Comment: It was great to read about your goals and your progress. I'm following you on Day Zero. We'll see if I can keep up with your blog, I'm not good at that kind of thing :)
Response: THanks for your kind comment, rating and heart. No worries. I don't update day zero as much as my blog but it is generally up to date when I tick a goal off the list. Goodluck with your goals too.
Comment: Happy one year anniversary since the beginning of your project! You really have made great progress! Pretty much 1/3 of the way through, and several you are making steps towards. Very awesome. Would love to know if there were any additional goals crossed off since compiling this update in the middle of the month?
Like you, I love this swap, because it keeps me accountable to someone else and therefore more on top of keeping on track. I've also granted myself the ability to switch goals that just no longer seem feasible, but with a very good reason. What would life be if not making adjustments to fit unforeseen circumstances?
Would love to keep in touch as we both go on our own separate journeys! Best of luck for February! Take care!
Response: Thanks for the support. Wish you all the best with your goals and bring on February :D
Comment: Thank you for the email about what you create. I'm big into amigurumi and its so fun. I love it, and make my living selling the amigurumi dolls I crochet. Good luck with your kit! :D
Response: Thanks for the rating and thanks for the luck. I just received my kit yesterday and my mind is spinning to understand the pattern aha. But It'll be fun. and a learning process. If you have any tips for an absolute beginner I'm open to anything :D
Comment: Honestly, I didn't spot that dragon/vampire twist until you mentioned it! Woaaah. Anyway, of course I wouldn't mind! It was my fault for not mentioning where the comment section was, oops! Thanks for dropping by btw Choco! :DD
