Comment: Oh my gosh Lora Ann! This was a envelope of FANTASTICNESS!!!! That's not even a word, but hey, you spoiled me rotten with all the things you gave me. So much cool stuff!! Wow!! Thank you so very much I adore everything you sent. You went over and above, if I could give you 10 hearts I would! Thanks so much!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the tuck-ins. I'm looking forward to using them next year. Hopefully, we will have met at the mailbox many times before then. Happy holidays to you and yours . . . and Buster, too!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful sparkly winter scene with Psalm Christmas card. Sometime I would love to see in person the birch forest and cardinals so often depicted on cards. I did a watercolor card one year of that scene, I was very happy with the result. These Merry Christmas cut outs are great, like giant confetti. I might just have to scan one and make a cut file out if it! Merry Christmas to you and yours, from me and mine!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty card and the extra postcards! I love them all! I have a similar tradition but now I've turned it into giving my kids a "Christmas Eve box". It's so much fun! Merry Christmas!!
Comment: I really like architecture, American history, music, flowers, and horses - everything on this postcard! Thank you so much. My dog likes to ride in the car, too. I have to use the window lock so she doesn't roll down the window, so I understand about Buster.
Comment: Great PC with the Kentucky letters...horses are a favorite. It's been trying to be spring here - 1 day on 1 week off...yesterday 68 today and the rest of the week mid 30's. I'll be happy when there is more sunshine, but love the FALL best too. Have a great week. Take care, Annette
Comment: Thank you for the great state map from Kentucky. I have thousands of postcards from all over. Boxes and boxes of cards. I don't even know how many I have it is so many. But ones that have been sent to me I probably have 2500 once I have sorted out the ones that I have kept.
Comment: Thank you for your post card it arrived today and I love the sweet saying you put on it. I hope that soon I will see your rating for the Send 1 Postcard for January swap postcard that I sent to you. Please will you let me know when my postcard arrives .
Comment: Lora Ann, thank you for the note card with your nice note. Our weather here is also crazy. Friday we got over 7 inches of rain and yesterday another 2 inches. I am ready to grow webbed feet. Thanks again, Shirley
Comment: Thank you this "new-to-me" Kentucky postcard and your lovely note. I've been saving postcards (I'm really not a collector) since I was about 10 years old. So, about 57 years or so! I love, love, love postcards! Yes, you DID angel a swap for me way back when I first joined Swap-Bot.
Comment: Thanks for the great horsey PC! I took Spanish, in Jr High, but I have retained just a very few phrases over the years! I understand much more than I can speak, just because there are so many common words between Spanish and English. I suppose it will soon be raining foals by you! We just got one inch of snow, which is already melting in the snow today. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Your lovely card arrived today. I like horses so this is a good card for me. Not sure how many cards I have but a lot. I am trying to get them organized this winter and have made a start with getting several boxes sorted to keepers and swappers. Now I have to get them in order and into albums.
Thanks, Chris crispycritter
Comment: We have sent a lot to each other. The postcard of Cumberland Falls is new to me, thank you. If I was going to write a book I think it would be a children's book about 2 sister trees growing on a hill for 100 years and all the change they saw in the valley below them.
Comment: Lora Ann, it was so nice to get mail from you--it has been a LONG time since we swapped with each other! However, I am very saddened to hear about Gordon. How difficult this must be for all of you. I do believe in prayer and will remember Gordon and you as well. It is so hard to stay strong when all seems to be getting worse, so II pray God shelters you both in his "Wings of Comfort" like a mother hen shelters and protects her little brood of little ones. Think positively as often as possible as I believe that does make a difference in our bodies's ability to heal or fight such diseases. In my prayers---Peggy
Comment: Hello Lora Ann!!!! Thank you so much for your winter postcard with Christmas ball. Beautiful!!!
Thank you for the nice things inside the letter!
I wish happiness for you and your family.
Stay healthy! May all your dreams come true! It's COLD in Russia, - 30°C
Best wishes from Russia, from Perm ♥ ♥ ♥ Yulia.
Comment: Lora Ann...It has been awhile since we have been partnered...so good to hear from you!! The card you sent is truly beautiful and reflects "peace" in it's sparkly snowy scene. Thank you for the washi samples. I can always use them as I do not live near a craft store to buy them. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Buster...Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas card. I normally do not spend a lot on Christmas cards, but if there is a box of cards I like. I will buy them. That is an impressive amount of Christmas cards sent out. Thanks again. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the punch studios Christmas card, it is truly beautiful! I love the festive extras, are they gift tags? I could find many uses for them, thank you. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thanks for another cute card! I love the set and the envelopes are a really nice touch! I was slightly panicking for a moment when I thought I couldnt see which swap this was for and TADA its on the back of the card. =) Merry Christmas friend!
Comment: Beautiful card! We don't often get snow down here either - a few flurries and that's it. In 2008, we got a few inches that actually stuck around for about a day. My daughter was just over a year, and I have pictures of her with our little bitty snowlady! Of course, it shut the whole city down between the ice and snow! :) Thank you for the PC!
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard, a welcome smile through the letterbox. I live in the South East of England in the UK and our Winter last year was very mild, so not much snow. Scotland definitely gets a lot more and yearly :)
Thanks again and this is my first from this group :)
Comment: Thank you for the pretty "snow" PC Lora Ann! I loved it, and you are the first one I've gotten from this swap =D Snow here is kind of random. We don't usually get a lot, so our state doesn't invest money in snow equipment. So, when we do get even a small amount the roads become impossible. The last big storm we had was year before last and I had to bundle up my pets and go stay in a hotel because the ice on the trees knocked down so many power lines that our power was out for almost 2 weeks here. When I lived up north I loved the snow, but down here I dread it.
Comment: Thank you so much for all the beautiful butterfly stickers! Not only did you send the 1 sheet that was required, but you included 4 extra sticker sheets!
Your swap partners are going to love you!!
Comment: Lora Ann, losing things like this happen every day so don't worry. I hope Gordon is well on the mend. Take care of yourself. You definitely deserve a heart for still thinking of swap bot when you should have been thinking about Gordon. Love the map card. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the post card. I've been through Kentucky on my way to vacation in Tennessee and thought it was a very pretty state. No, I don't collect post cards but they make a nice quick and easy swap sometimes. My mom collected them for years and I have albums full of VERY vintage cards that she had collected. Thanks again.
Comment: Lora Ann I received your Kentucky barn Quilt trail post card today. thank you. Sorry the 1st one got lost in the mail, but thank you so much for sending another - you are so sweet! take care, darla
Comment: Thank you so much Lora Ann for the OMG stuffed pocket letter. I didn't know you could put that much in one of those things. Thank you so very much for everything - I will be able to use those goodies for a year! And thank you for the labels - you rock! Oh and notebook - love using those to keep track of swaps. take care, darla
Comment: I truly appreciate all of the interesting items that you so thoughtfully sent my way. You've inspired me to pull out my scissors and glue and get started on another project! Thank you, too, for hosting this swap. I look forward to meeting at the mailbox again sometime soon.
Comment: Oh my, this is so fabulous!! And I love the journal you sent me. Did you make it? It arrived yesterday, just in time for last night's show & tell at my monthly art group. Planning to send you one in return.
Comment: Thank you! I finally realized where my confusion was in all of this-There were TWO of these "SIGN UP TODAY #4"!!! So I was looking and looking and not realizing where to rate you and BAM. Here we are. haha (:
Comment: This was postmarked 6 days after the send by date but I saw your comments on the swap profile. For future reference just know that your mail carrier doesn't legally have to come pick up your mail if they don't have mail to deliver to you. I know it sucks but it's probably part of the many cutbacks.
Comment: Great swap idea and loved your questions. I don't know which ones you prefer so I'll have to find out which you circle when I write you back! I'd love to send my response to you if you would like, just message me your address. Thanks!
Comment: Sorry to hear you had a family emergency and hope things have gotten better. As for the false -- these are my guesses 1. 6ft tall, 2. 12 EE shoes, 3. Gave Buster away, 7. hate choclate, 9. 4 bdr apt for $124 -- did I get some of them right? Fun swap.
Response: I am 6 ft tall & do wear a size 12EE shoes & no I didnt give Buster sway & 7 & 9 or false, 3 out of 5 isn't bad.
Comment: I love your Thanksgiving card and pretty pink stationary. Anytime your wallet is lost is a "bad day" always a worry wondering who has it. There's a lot of good movies on TV on Thanksgiving and the next day. Enjoy the holidays
Comment: Thanks Lora Ann, Love those Kentucky thoroughbreds! I used to go to the track a lot, but I've given that up too! Sorry to have dropped from the 2015 swap, but just can't commit at this time.
Have fun with it!
Comment: Love the wild turkey of Kentucky card. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Our oldest son has rented a 12 bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tn for Thanksgiving. So 5 families from here and three families from Florida are all going there for Thanksgiving. It will be great. Lots of relaxation and family fun.
Comment: OMgoodness...I rcvd your envies today and they are fancy, smancy, dazzling envies! Oh my. Ummmmm mine look nothing like those. Remember I said I've never made them b4? Mine are VERY different. Im not sending these unless youre feeling lucky. lol. I think I'll redo a few anyway. And none of them are just scrapbook papers either. Theyre upcycled, mixed media. Share with me your thoughts. x
Response: Send what you made, I'm sure it will be fine.+_+ thanks for the rating, glad you like it, hope you like the stickers too!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful Kentucky PCs!!! I traveled through there in the late 1980's. I remember a beautiful state with lots of horse farms. Hope your fall is going well. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry PS: Thanks for the bright yellow envie too!
Comment: I am SO sorry for the late rating :( I've had you letter in my stack to reply to and somehow forgot to rate it. Thank you so much for the labels :) I love them. I am hoping to get your letter out in the mail tomorrow morning as I am going right now to get it done.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely hand of friendship! Oh my what a large hand. My husband asked if you play piano :D Thank you for the gift!!! How special :D Washi tape. You have awesome tape. Funny you like York Peppermint Patties and Buster is aYorkie :D I love sweet tea. Ohh you are a snowman nut :D Yeah! We use snowman plates and our makasa plates all year long! You have nice handwritting! You should see my hubs scribbles lol. I have a lot of stamps! I haven't used my stamps for a while! Its time to break them out, I have a lot of embossing powder as well.... Time to break it out! Thank you snow much :D hehe. I love snowflakes :D Super hugs!
Response: Yes! A very large hand! No! I don't play, but glad you are going to get the stamps out, I need to use them more to, also have embossing powder but got to get new heating thing, not for sure what it's called! LOL
Comment: OMG, love the different fonts used in my card, then receiving PEACOCK address labels was the icing on the cake! The cut out were cute! The note card packs you sent are so pretty. You are awesome, a great swapper and person! If i could give more than 1 heart I would.
Comment: Thank you for the great card! I do like bourbon but I think the bourbon balls may be a bit TOO much bourbon flavor for me, but never know! I still would like to makes some, so thank you very much for the recipe card! :)
Comment: Thanks a lot for your lovely postcard - the colours in it are just amazing! I'm really sorry that your first card never arrived and I wonder where it disappeared to, but thanks a lot for resending :)
Comment: Thank you for the birthday card and address labels. I use Avery 5160, too, and I always have trouble with the first three row --they go down about 1/8 inch but the rest of the labels are centered. Thanks for the pretty labels!
Comment: thanks again for the address labels and the beautiful card. I accidently rated and commented on your profile for the card I got from Crystal. I took out the comment and put it on her profile but I couldn't change the rating, so, anyway, thanks again. I knew I would give you the same rating when I got your card!!!!!!
Comment: Hi! Too funny that you have my pc already! It will be a hoot to send it back out - I giggle every time I look at it! Thanks also for the extra pc and the address labels, love getting them! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks so much for the beautifully wrecked envie! I so needed some pretty mail today, and you did it! Sorry you had to try so many times to get it the way you wanted it, but how sweet that you cared that much!! I need to add more to my profile, but. I LOVED the post cards!! Thanks so much! You made my day!!
Response: So glad to hear that. Thanks for the rating & heart!+_+
Comment: I love the Kentucky horse pc! The weather here is mild right now...the artic temperatures have gone back to average buffalo, ny temps during the day but at night still gets too low. It is pretty watching the snow falling....right now all the snow on the ground here is now dirty and black...so not so pretty anymore! Lol
Comment: Lora, thank you for the Kentucky card and stamps. I love how the three of them go: freedom, justice, and equality (they give off a very American vibe!). To answer your question, my favourite season is Autumn for the same reasons as yours! Also because skies here are particularly clear and blue during the Autumn months.
Comment: Thank you!!! Sorry for the late rating but I could't figure out which swap this was for! So I had to wait to get near a computer to be able to go through them I absolutely ADORE the postcards thank you. I love the deer, and I've been collecting them actually :) I love the nature scenes aswell with the hawk. Oops I called it an eagle first and then had to change it. Sorry mr hawk. Thanks for a great swap xxxx
Comment: My favorite time is fall as well... I love all the colors and how they blend together in the hills around us...it looks like a painting to me ... and I always wonder what others fave season is lol most people love fall for the same reasons I do ha ha
Comment: Hi Lora Ann,
I'm just thrilled with the stationery sets you sent. I'm C R A Z Y about the bluebird set! I'm really partial to decorated envelopes that go along with the stationery and yours are ALL decorated ;+) Also thank you so much for the K & Co embellishments! I just LOVE all the K & Co designs--what a fantastic extra! Thank you!
Response: You are VERY WELCOME! glad you are C R A Z Y about it,
Comment: Hello Kentucky neighbor! Beautiful PC you sent... Now the answers to your questions... As I put on my profile page, I prefer spring AND autumn! I love spring because the outdoors is waking up after a long winter's sleep....crocus, daffodils and tulips coming to life and saying "hello world - did you miss me?" The birds singing out my windows is a welcoming sound... Now, I also love autumn for the same reason you mentioned... THE LEAVES!! Didn't we have a beautiful fall in 2013!!! Thank you again for the PC!
Comment: My Internet has been having problems since a few days before Christmas. They came out fixed for all of 2 hrs it worked then today I was able to use my uncles portable wifi that he is lending me until they come back out this week to "fix" it again. So I apologize for the delay but had no Internet to reply sooner.
Response: You just now getting the ornaments? Don't understand that. Sent on 12/12.
****Sorry to hear that, just glad you got them before Christmas. Hope you like them.****
Comment: My favorite time of day is about 9-10 in the evening. The kids are in bed and usually sleeping. I get to have "mommy" time. I will catch up on cleaning, craft something, read a book, watch tv, or listen to music and do some uninterrupted thinking. It just depends on my mood and how I feel.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful glittery Christmas Card. I just sat looking at the card when I first opened the envie. I just thought the decorated house front was so inviting and could see myself walking up the sidewalk to a warm and loving home!
A Very Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Comment: I LOVE the labels! I don't have a printer and I never think to order any with my address on them... After I opened the card you sent I wrote up 12 more Christmas cards and your labels were a life saver. I hate having to write my address a million times! Thanks a bunch :)
Comment: Thank you so much for your card!! I just LOVE getting holiday cards this time of the year. I think your card with the Christmas tree is for this swap... it wasn't labeled at all. - No worries. Just wanted to let you know so the next one you don't overlook it and someone not rate you (which would suck). Happy Thanksgiving by the way :)
Response: It wasn't on the back? So sorry. It should had been type & with my user name, don't know how I missed it.
Comment: Thanks very much for the cute card! I haven't heard of that movie, but I will definitely look it up! I'm always interested in finding new Christmas movies to watch! I'll be spend several weeks with my family for Christmas, and I'm so excited about it! Hope you have a blessed and merry Christmas!
Comment: Pretty card! Sad to say no family traditions with my kids ;( Growing up in NM was different tho. I miss the farolitos, luminaries & all the rest of the Spanish traditions not to mention the family gatherings. Thank you so much for the card & great labels! I so appreciate them! Happy Holidays!
Comment: I got your package today and I love the book! You didn't have to send anything extra, but thank you! Glad I didn't send your package out yet because I have a whole different idea for your book, I'll have to swipe that filefolder idea for the cover also ;) Thank you so much for everything, I should be sending your stuff out tomorrow morning so be expecting it's arrival! :)
Comment: So you went all crazy and sent me two! Thank you so much. I have really enjoyed this swap - I was so inspired that I have the makings of 15 more organized and ready to work on and complete sitting here by my desk.
Comment: Wow, thank you so much Lora. It was a great package to receive. You went above and beyond what anyone has done for this swap. the book is great! I will definitely be able to use it! My plan is to get organized with receipts (thus 12 envelopes) haha, we will see if that ever happens. All of the extras are wonderful too. Thank you for such a great swap!!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome pc.... but I need your addie in order to send one in return :) Could you message it to me and I'll mail it right out - tomorrow if we don't get the predicted blizzard tonight.
Comment: Thank you for trying to keep the purple and pink out of this journal. I love all the PC and thanks for the one dish magic recipes! Tell your daughter it's like how some people react to spiders, snakes or bad smells. That is what purple or pink is for me. I like spiders, snakes and different smells, but wouldn't try to give them to someone who doesn't. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: She's not my daughter, like a granddaughter but I will tell her, like I said she's only 7 & just couldn't understand it. She did help me glue the paper in & loved doing it.
Comment: I just received your book. I like that they are the large business size envies. The cover is great and I don't know why you were so worried. You included so many extras I can't begin to thank you enough for them. It's neat how you binded them onto the hooks. Great job.
Comment: This is the neatest way to make a 20 page letter, wish I had thought of it but I don't have the computer "know how" that you do. I enjoyed the letter and fonts and graphics. Be expecting a reply to your questions, but it won't be 20 pages long. Beautiful autumn
Response: it's wasn't hard at all & glad you liked it. Will be looking for the reply.
Comment: Loved the card. I am always taking pictures of bridges. Some are so cool. I really liked the one that you sent to me. So many cool things out there to see and do. We all need more time to go and do and see. Thanks again for the card.
Comment: Hiya Lora Ann! Thank you for the postcard! Its my first from Kentucky! And the quote is wonderful! It's too bad that it's anonymous so that whomever wrote it will never receive proper credit. Thanks again and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for your letter (I'm glad you are feeling better now and don't worry about it - sometimes when we are stressed, it's good to write it down and share it)! The recipes look absolutely delicious and I'll give them a try one of these days. Many thanks for the generous amount of recipe cards.
Comment: Hi Lora Ann--Thanks so much for all the great cards of Kentucky! What fun to get cards each day like this. I am collecting all 50 states and these were the first from KY. All the best and happy swapping!
Comment: The letter and stickers were great! I did not get sleepy while reading your letter :) Also, I sent the animal print hearts to my partner. When I bought them I was thinking "I wish I could keep these for myself!" Now I have some :)
Comment: No I have not gotten this card from you. It is a cool card. One of these days we will get your way and do some sight seeing. Have seen alot of pictures and alot of pretty places to go and see. Happy swapping Barb craftybarbie
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcard! When I was younger we stayed in a hotel at the beach one year that was across the street from a hotel called the Cardinal Inn. It had a big neon cardinal - because of that trip and my fascination for that neon bird, my aunt painted me a cardinal it for me and so I have it hanging up, still to this day. Anyways, needless to say - I like it :) Okay, enough of the me getting sidetracked.
Comment: UPDATE 8 April 2012: Thank you for the cards :-D The original Christmas card (unclear postmark), the 1st re-send from 14 Jan, & the 2nd re-send from 26 March ALL arrived this past week together in 1 bundle! I don't know what they have been doing in the US postal system, but the envelope for the card was stamped as arrived in Cambodia on 4 April in Phnom Penh (the capital), then was in my town by the 5th. [22 March 2012]: I never received the original nor the re-send that was requested in January 2012. It's been well over 3 months. I believe the original was marked sent in late November 2011. IF anything ever arrives in my PO Box, I will definitely change the rating. [23 March 2012]: To answer the question about the card I had to re-send to her, which has NOTHING to do with this rating, I was on holiday in the US over Christmas. If she looked at the postmark and stamp, she would see that I sent the 2nd card to her from the US, NOT Cambodia. The first card I sent to her in early December was from Cambodia. 26 March 2012: I have had HUGE communication problems with this person. She has been hostile from the very beginning by making accusations and assumptions before asking a question or receiving an answer from me. FOR THE RECORD: I have NEVER received anything from this person for this swap. HOWEVER, I have sent 2 cards to her since we had each other as partners for this swap. I have her BLOCKED because her messages have been consistently very rude, hostile and demanding. I have found swapping with her to be one of the MOST unpleasant experiences ever on this site. [29 March 2012]: NOTE, this rating is because I have not received what was required for this swap. It is not hostile, nor unjust. I have not changed my rating, nor removed my comments so that I can demonstrate that my communication is clear, open, and honest. [6 April 2012]: To clarify, I consider 19+ rating response changes/updates (12 in 1 day!), in addition to changes in information in the "About Me" section directed at my rating comments, as well as past private messages "rude, hostile, and demanding."
Response: 4/8/2012 Glad they got there! Show that I did do what I said!****
3/30/2012 Another PC was sent on the 3/28 so hopefully she will get it this time but all that other stuff she said ISN"T TRUE about me being HOSTILE, RUDE or did anything else she said in her comment. Maybe she will take it off like she said after she gets the PC, and she had me blocked before I even knew it!
Comment: thanks for the teas. My daughter has to have caffiene free, and she loves green, so that was nice to get some for her as she's coming home from college today for my birthday. I hope things work out with your job, I can understand how you feel. Hang in there, you are a good hearted and generous person, so just remember, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger! And jobs can do that. Good luck
Comment: Thanks for the great pc! We seem to get partnered up quite a bit. We must have the same taste in swaps! Happy swapping!
Response: Hope I didn't send U the same postcard again, if I did let me know & I'll be glad to send U another 1. I send so many that I can't keep track of what I send to who, tryed a little while but it didn't work.LOL

Comment: Thank you for the horses in the snow postcard. Yes, you did already send me this one (for the Winter Wonderland pc), but no sweat! It can be hard to remember what postcard we sent to our partners especially when we do a lot of pc swaps and swap with the same partners. :)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard. When I first saw it, I thought it was for the Horse postcard swap I joined. But no, it was for the Winter Wonderland pc swap! Gorgeous postcard of the horses grazing in the Kentucky snow. Thank you!
Comment: Your cards arrived today.. There was no name of the swap or any other info from you. It was difficult to locate the swap, so please next time be sure that all the info is with the swap, make it a lot easier for your partner!!
Response: SO SORRY! I don't know how I did that cause I always write the swap name on the envelope. SO SORRY!
Comment: lol, both your cards came today! The quilt one looks fascinating and of course the horses in winter is beautiful. I do so miss winter! And yes, the color seems to have fled that tree! Thank you for the pc fun!
Comment: What a pretty fall card! I do so miss autumn... Thank you!
Response: I have tryed to find some winter PC's but they are hard to find around here. Did find a few one time but went to get more & ALL OUT! ^-^
