Comment: I gave you a 1 because I haven't received anything. If you send the pocket letter in the future, I will give you a fair rating. I understand things happen - but if you feel like you can't fulfill the swap you should not sign up. I haven't heard anything from you either. Thank you and message me if you do send it.
Comment: I read on your profile that you are working hard to get yourself back on track and that's great! Please know I will change this rating if you send me this swap in the future and it's okay if it is a few months from now or a few years! Just pm me when you are ready to rejoin swaps and want to make this one up. Best Wishes!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I am so glad you had time at the football but don't know how you didn't have a beer while you were there. It is an Aussie tradition to drink beer while watching sport! Have a great day and thank you for being part of the swap :)
Comment: I have an idea: maybe you can find a little mind-game to use to make yourself "your audience" for your art- make it for your younger self, or for the you that might have dreamed different dreams, or for the self that will look back upon her younger years wistfully or with satisfaction. Best wishes for making it happen, Rhonda
Comment: I love the postcard you made so much! I totally see the beach. Anytime orange and blue are together I normally see the beach. It's one of the few things I really miss about California! Thanks for such a beautiful card!
Comment: Thanks for the ATC sized papers and the cute envelope. I had trouble drawing buttons, too. I loved the colors you used, how you decorated my name, and the yellow floral washi on the back! Squeee! I need that washi. I'm sure you have no idea what washi you decorated with, let alone where you bought it. But if you remember -- it's yellow background with pink outlined florals and green leaves -- I must know so I can get more :)
Response: Oh, no! I don't actually own that washi tape, it was from a sample and I'm not sure who the sample was from! I'm glad you enjoyed the envelope!
Comment: Hi Sylvia! Loved the Indy pc! My sweet DIL is from Indiana and I have not been to Indy yet - yikes! Hopefully when she is back in the states with our son! Sounds like you had a wonderful time - good for you on the football game and the fried chicken sounds amazing - yum! Hope you have lots more midwest adventures! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: thank you for your lovely written postcard. I'm glad you had a lovely experience going to Kingston University, I do love living in this area, though I miss the culture of Scotland. I visited Chicago in the Summer of 93 and had a fabulous time. I did on that trip though in Yosemite National Park bump into Dr Benton of ER fame, which i loved at that time.
Thanks again for the postcard. Julie-Ann
Comment: Thank you for the nice post card. Very nice picture. Yes I've been to Chicago a couple of times. Once as a school field trip and once when my son was little. We took the train and had a really nice time. There's so much to see and do there. Would like to go again now that I'm retired and have the time. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you Sylvia! I will definately write back to you. How is everything going with your new home? Oh and don't worry, my handwriting is bad, too ^^
Do you have a different address now?
Response: Hi there! Yes I have a different address. If you'd like it, you can message me and I'll give it to you! Glad you liked the letter exchange! My new home is going swell -- a little adjusting, but fun nonetheless :)

Comment: Thank you for the great letter and awesome postcards, Sylvia! I love all the postcards, but the postcard with the circus elephant is my favorite! I'm a little slow in writing back to you, we've just come back from vacation and I'm still trying to get back into the rhythm of life!
Comment: Funny, my daughter just got back from Chicago recently! I never wanted to go there until she told me all about the Art Institute. Now I want to go! Thanks for the card! I love the gold washi tape!

Comment: Hi Sylvia!
It was cool to get your postcard today because I just flew back home today to Pittsburgh from Chicago! I do love living in Pittsburgh very much but I am from Rockford,IL so I am sure you have at least heard of that city :) I was home visiting family and friends, yesterday I went to Randolph Street Market in Chicago, loved it! Thanks! :-)
Comment: thanks for the beautiful view of Chicago. Actually, I have been there -- stockyards and all! I graduated from Battle Creek Central HS and once spent a break time with a friend from MD who was living in Niles, MI, at the time. I can only say that winter in the AK interior is a dry cold! :) Thanks for the nice note, and happy swapping!
