Comment: Thanks for helping me travel to Tibet for a moment :0) I love it when adults dance like goons with kids-- so much fun to just move and lose track of who's watching! I danced with my younger cousins at a wedding recently and it made me miss dancing with my neighbors at block parties.
Comment: Aww, the heart garlands and the owl photo holder is so pretty. And also flower seeds and chewable wood for my hamsters. Thank you for the whole package. I absolutely love it. Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Response: Glad you received your package before Valentine's Day! I'm glad you're happy!
Comment: Thank you for a card with a very scientific appearance. Is your mom in an elementary school or secondary? I'm getting uneasy with the financial situation being what it is here. I guess we will know about proposed budget cuts in our district tomorrow night at the board meeting. It's grim. Hope things are better in your neck of the woods. The DustCollector
Comment: Your envelopes were beautiful! I wish I had more skill at them(and such pretty paper!) I love them so much! Mine are crap compared to yours, as I used magazine pages...I guess I like being green? lol. Anyway, thank you so much for swapping with a newbie!
Response: Wow - That got to you fast! Did you notice the glitter that was embedded in the remoistenable glue? I have tons of glitter everywhere - argh! Have fun resending them off.
Comment: Hi, I was delighted to read your journal. What fascinating life you have! Thank you for sharing so much. I also loved the extras, from photos and recipes to the cutest cupcake candle, chocolate, pens, and of course yarn! Thank you for being so thoughtful. I love journal swaps! :-)
Response: It makes me so happy that you liked the journal! I hope you get to use the ribbon . . . it was cut from old parachutes and hand dyed by a gal in my home state.
So so so glad you liked it! I love journal swaps too!
Comment: Shannon: I really enjoyed the selection of funny, kooky and bizarre postcards you sent. The daily joke was a fun touch. And I'm glad the lunch ladies didn't get you! :)
Response: yay! i'm really happy that you liked the selection. lol - bizarre - that's exactly the type pf postcard i enjoy. i "saved" my favorite joke for day 7, hope they weren't too junior high for you.
Comment: Thank you for your letter and for the beautiful notecard! I liked reading your letter - it sounds like you've had a tough time but are making the best of it. You sound like a great mom. Since my little girl is only 1 I feel like I have a lot to learn and love hearing about other moms and their kids. Your kids are adorable by the way!
Comment: BEST. QUESTIONS. EVER!
I think my favorites were:
"Why are cupcakes so much better than big cakes?"
"Will jellyfish ever be a good pet?"
"Were the molecules of water in my body ever in a dinosaur?"
They made me laugh!!
Comment: What a creative package! I loved how your lists were presented and what you listed. I had a lot of trouble doing the sabotage list (perhaps I was sabotaging myself!) and your list gave me ideas I will be able to use as I work with all the lists. I also appreciate the wonderful cards for Lizzy and Sophie. They will love them. Thank you for making a grey day bright!
Response: Mary - this makes my day! i am so glad your package made it to you safely. thank you!
Comment: Oh my gosh, you are so freaking amazing! As a vag-loving woman, you have made my month. The best part was the notecards were something I found on Etsy in my own search for stuff for this swap, and they caused their own mini-drama in my own life. I love them so so so much and will draw much glee from mailing them around to friends!
Comment: how could i not heart a package that came with a heart? impossible! i loved all of your photos, they are wonderful and lovely! thank you for the snow! it doesn't snow very often, once when i was like six we had a bit of muddy sluch and it was thrilling. and then again the christmas before katrina it was real, actual flurries of snow on christmas day!
