Comment: Thanks for such a pretty holiday postcard to add to my collection. I especially enjoy cards that arrive from places outside the U.S. And anything vintage is PERFECT for me. Have a very Merry Christmas! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard! I have been to England, though it was a very long time ago. I went with a girls' choir. This postcard brought back a lot of memories, because the whole time we were there, we rode around in a red double decker bus. :D I love those things.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful strawberry postcard! The weather doesn't look much different between England and The Netherlands :) I visit about 3 times a year and must admit I have not actually gone out to see places but I would love to,everything looks older and full of character over there!
Comment: Sorry to hear it is still cold and foggy there. Here in NC it is in the 60s and 70s with sunny skies today <3 I have always wanted to visit England. I've made quite a few friends who live there in my online groups/games. I also traced my ancestors back to the 1200s in Kent so far, so in a way I think it might be like returning home =]. Hope you have a great weekend!
Response: Thank you for the lovely rate, I lived in Kent for many years, it is a wonderful county
Comment: What a beautiful postcard, those flowers look like snowdrops! Do you have them in England? When I make it out to England, I think I'll have to take a full month. I want to see all of the Harry Potter sites, definitely Downton Abbey, I'd love to see Pemberley and the Lake Country. I just want to see everything!
Response: Thank you for the rate, its early, but the snowdrops are coming out, there are any thing from England you would like, let me know.
Comment: Thanks a lot for your lovely card! I'm not a fan of summer, at least not the summers we get here, British summers are really nice, though. I spent three weeks in the Durham Dales this August with highs of 24°C while people back home were suffering in 38°C heat :)
Response: Thank you for your rate, its getting cold here now.
Comment: Hello dear Patricia! Thank you for the beautiful postcard from Cambridge you sent me. Happy to know your birthday is on Jan 12th, just one day after mine! I'll remember you on that day for sure! Best wishes, Raphaela.
Response: Thank you for you rate, Cambridge is a great place and so near. I too will be thinking of you too on the 11th Jan.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard! I love the vintage look. I will be sending you a postcard as a thank you :-) I collect postcards and keychains if you are interested in every doing anymore swaps together :)
Response: Thank you for the rate, when I saw the postcard I got the whole packet, will send a friend message.
Comment: I'm sorry to give a newbie a low score so early in her SB dealings, but the swap requirement was to tell her partner why she was grateful that she joined SB. My partner sent a very nice PC, telling me a bit about her, but nothing about why she was happy to be part of SB. On 6/19 I offered to allow her to pm me with the requirement (which she did read), but she hasn't done it. I'm at a loss as to why she didn't do it, and now have to rate her low. Patricia, send me a new PC and I'll update this to a 5 (which is what I wanted to give you). 7/3 Patricia, I hope you feel better soon. Don't know where you put that message, but of course I wouldn't have got it, since I wasn't pmed. I'm happy to see that Rachel got hers (as per your profile). As I said, once I get a resend, I'll change the rating. I don't mind waiting.
Response: I am sorry you felt you had to do that but as I have told swap-bot that I was going into major hip replacement, and that I would not be doing any postcard, I am sorry you did not see the message, and you know what I do this because I love getting and sending postcard, to me that meants more than a rating.
