Comment: My goodness! What a busy lady you are. This is all lovely! As the daughter of a vet and aunt to two currently serving young men, thank you for everything you do for the veterans. Really very wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing!
Response: My husband was active duty Navy when we met, and he retired at 20. I can't imagine doing it any other way. Our vets are so deserving, and I feel like it is the least I can do to show my appreciation.
Thank you for the 5 and the â¤. We're having another fish fry tomorrow and breakfast on Sunday. If you'd like to come I'll buy your meal. 😊
Comment: Hi Karen, thank you for the Hungarian apple soup recipe. It sound delicious. As I visualize making it (and I will very soon), my mouth is watering and eager to taste it. Also, the juice recipe sounds amazing. I love to juice and try to have at least one green juice a day. Thanks for the postcards too. The decorated zentangled envie is really cool. Happy Swapping, and be HEALTHY always!
Comment: Thank you for the card, stamps (love those Batman ones!!) Bookmark and Congrats on my wedding....so sweet of you to make it so personal, you made my day! Happy holidays and hope to swap with you in the new year!
Response: You are most welcome. I'm so glad you enjoyed the swap. :D
Comment: Hi Karen!
You speedy resend got to me today. A BILLION hearts and thank yous are in order. The cards you sent me are gorgeous! Another thank you for my sisters card too, swappers like you truly make this site worthwhile.
Response: I'm glad this one got there okay, and that you enjoyed the post cards. That cathedral is Prague is amazing. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the stickers..... I think I enjoyed the envelope even more! So creative!
Response: To be totally honest, someone here at swap-bot sent that envelope to me at some point. I'm glad that it got there okay. :)
Thank you so much for the kind rating. I truly hope that you enjoy the stickers.
Comment: I really hope you enjoyed my letter as much as I did yours. You did so much more than I did. I would love to follow you around on your beading trips. Sure wished I lived closed so that maybe we could do some beading together. I would love to learn how to embroider with beads. I love clothes that are beefed up with beads, want to make them, but just don't know how to start! You are a wealth of knowledge and I am off to take a peek at all the web site you put in your letter to me. Thank you for being a friend!
Comment: Thanks so much for the nice card and note!!! I am SOOOO sorry your vaction was stalled by an ice storm!! We started "going south" during Christmas or winter about 6-7 years ago and LOVE taking a break from the cold. Hope you had a merry Christmas and that 2014 is the best year ever!!!
Comment: Love the PC. I think you should try David balducci, joy fielding for some new authors if you haven't already. Thanks again.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the PC. I try very hard to match them to profile likes in some way. :) Someone just mentioned Balducci to me a few days ago. I guess I'll give him a try. Thanks for the recommendation.
Comment: yay for another fan of The Hunger Games! In my opinion Catching Fire was the best one. I absolutely loved all three of them though and also the first movie. I can't wait until the Catching Fire movie comes out this year!
Response: Your comment makes me want to read it even more. I need to get going on it so I can have it finished before the movie is released. Thanks for the rating. :D
Comment: Thanks so much Karen. I found a few that were interesting. Hope you have a lovely rest of your summer. :)
Response: You're welcome! Thanks for sending your list. I thought it was great! Loved your explanations, and have to say that I just heard about the Mortal Instruments series and it looks really good to me too.
Comment: AWESOME!!!!!! I love all the pieces you sent...the chilling pepper is my favorite though! Thank you so much. I know I will be able to use all of it. Also...thanks for hosting this swap. It was a very good one!
Response: I am so glad you enjoyed the swap. I have a really hard time with stash busting swaps. While I love all of my stuff, I am always worried that it won't be the right style for the person that will be receiving it.
Comment: I'm glad you liked my swap idea. Thanks for the nice PC and the vintage stamps and trying to match them up with likes. Don't worry that you couldn't find flowers in February - - the ones you used, believe it or not, are ones I hadn't seen before and I've been using vintage stamps for awhile now.
Comment: Thank you so much, Karen! The earrings are just lovely and will go so nicely with my hair (long and reddish/orange). I like it that they're big and showy yet still light and don't stretch my ears. I'll wear them to school tomorrow! Thanks for the teas and sweets too. I'm really going to need the teas now that it's cold and dark outside. I'm super happy about the Tootsie Roll sweets, they're something I've heard about in American movies and tv and internet but I've never tried them, so I'm really glad I get a chance now. Thanks for this lovely swap in general, too!
You did so much work on this bracelet & I love all the varied colors, that I'm sure I will wear it especially this summer.
Response: Hi Deb, every one of the beads in that bracelet are glass - as a matter of fact, all the flower beads are imported from the Czech Republic which is renowned for their pressed glass. The seed beads are glass and from Japan and the CR. I hope you enjoy the bracelet.
Comment: Oh my gosh, I loooove the earrings and ring! The pumpkins are so cute! The beading is gorgeous. And the ring fits perfectly :-) This will definitely be part of my work wardrobe from now until Halloween (and probably later as well, hehe). Thanks so much!
Response: I"m truly glad that you like your new jewelry. :) Even though I don't make much jewelry, those earrings are one of my favorite things to bead.
Comment: ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Oh my gosh! I want my crummy brooch back! You shouldn't have to have that monstrosity in your house let alone wear it or put it on anything, EVER!!!! I've just opened my incredibly fantastic handcrafted brooch from you! It is beyond beautiful! I will treasure it always. I can't stop holding it! Truly, you could teach Sherry Serafini a thing or two about creativity and glamour! I love, love, love it! Thank you so very much for making me the proud new owner of one of your stunning creations. I am in awe. Thank you also for the wonderful package of jewels. I will use them in anew crazy quilt block I'm starting and will think of you every day I see it. Thank you sweetie. I am honored to be your swap partner. Always! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Comment: I just checked my email account and there was a multitude of wonderful surprises from you there! I love them all - can't wait until I can get the collage sheets printed! Thanks for trading with me! UPDATE 7/5/11: Thanks for the great die-cuts, they came today! I love them all and they will be put to good use in my artwork! Thanks again for being an awesome swap partner!
Comment: Great envie. Where did you come across the butterfly confetti? It's really cute
Response: Hi. If it is paper confetti, I have a punch that shape and made it for you. If it is larger, metallic confetti/sequins then it probably came from a store called Hobby Lobby. I'm sorry I don't remember which I sent you, I've been sending a lot of both lately. :)
Comment: Oh Karen! I swear I rated this...even archived it! I must have messed up! I feel bad especially because this needlebook is the most awesome one I have ever seen. The colors are so perfect and the workwomanship is phenominal! Thank you so much!
Comment: Oh my! 2 cards in one! Thank you so much! I wish I knew what the postcard said... :) Thank you for both cards, they are lovely. :) blessed Yule and New year to you! blessings, Gypsy
Response: I was afraid you'd ask what it said. I'm pretty sure that Vesele is Blessed and Vanoche has something to do with CHrist because the Easter cards have very similar words on them. I have no idea about the back. The people I bought from spoke NO English and I speak about 20 words in Czech, none of which were helpful for this transaction. I really am sorry.
Comment: My mother always told me not to taunt crazy people! I didn't really listen to her, which is probably why I started this swap. The swap that was going along swimmingly well until YOU joined.
ps... I really hope you enjoyed yourself! See you in round 3!
Comment: The blog worked perfectly! Your pictures were lovely. I wish we had that type of interesting architecture here. I guess that's the downside of having a country that's still a toddler, as countries go. Thank you for participating!
Comment: Thanks for the terrific set of punchies and die cuts! Wonderful selection - and I can see using them all! Your letter was fantastic and made receiving the selection even better. Thanks so much for swapping and sharing all this good stuff with me!
Comment: The magnet is great, and I love the butterfly, it was the perfect touch to an art quilt I just finished. Thank you so much.
Response: I am so glad that you liked the butterfly. I'd love to see the quilt if you have a photo posted or that you'd like to email. I am just getting ready to start quilting myself, and I love to see the work of others.
