Comment: Hi Chris! I love love love your zines! Fun. Interesting. Creative
I loved hearing from you (and swapping with you)
Thank you. (PS I haven't sewn one thing in months. I'm so far behind on my Christmas gift making. I really need to get going)
Comment: Wow! I really enjoyed reading your minizines.I didn't know about Letterboxing but I do now. There are even some near me! I liked all the minizines but really enjoyed the lists as well.I've read several
of the mystery series but will look into some of the others. Thanks for a great swap.
Response: You're so welcome...I really loved sending you those things, it's fun to share art and your heart, don't you think? I'd love the sending part of swap-bot so much!
Comment: Oh my goodness! What a lovely envelope to receive from a neighbor in PA for my first swap mail! I adore everything you sent, and green tea is a favorite! Love the ATC!! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful package and happy holidays!! Get ready for some snow :)
Response: I actually wished it could have been more colorful....and I'm super-dreading any snow. Let's hold off on that, maybe??? :)
Comment: Thank you for this perfectly wonderful postcard. I love it! I never wanted to travel or fly. I married a Greek American and ended up here. Last Winter here was chaos and freezing but the one before that was mild.
Response: I'm so glad you received it...I was getting a little worried. Hope our paths cross again!
Comment: T^hanks for the map. Thanks for your nice letter written on the card. Have a great November. It will be gone all too fast!
Response: Life goes faster and faster as we get older, doesn't it? I hate turning the clock back tonight, it'll be dark at 5 pm tomorrow, yuck. I've just moved to PA from Arizona where we don't change the clocks. I'm going to miss that....
Comment: Oh Chris I loved your card. The hexi EPP is wonderful. I can't wait to find something to put it on. (You have so much patience... I'm not sure I could ever sew hexi's. But now I don't need to because I've got one of yours. Yippeee)
Response: I'm so glad you like....this was a fun swap!
Comment: thanks for the lovely fabrics! they have a very vintage colors and patterns! lol I plan to do something very traditional with them!.....im going to make a quilt! lol. do you ever do the letterboxing events? Ive made some really great friends in the letterboxing community!
Response: Yes, I went to three letterboxing events when I lived in Arizona, but only one since I moved to PA. I spent all day adventuring and "on the road" yesterday - found there really cool boxes! Hit number 200 traditional (I have about 200 postal boxes, too, those are my favorites!)
Comment: Loved the little Halloween card tucked inside. :) You will LOVE Savannah! My husband and I love to go there. I can't think of too many places you need to stay away from :) I highly recommend eating at Paula Deen's place, the food is so good. I am a huge Paula Dean fan, try to cook her recipes and all but if anything go because it is touristy. She has a new place open too but I've not been there yet...more seafood dishes. I love walking the city. So many places to take photos. Of course there is River Street that is a must. You will have so much fun. It is a great little place to meet up with girlfriends. Enjoy!!!
Thanks again and have a Happy Halloween
Response: Thanks for the Savannah ideas. If you have any others, please let me know!! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PC! I have always wanted to visit the Amish countryside. The picture of the young ladies using the kick scooters barefooted makes my tender little feet hurt. LOL! It's been a lot of years since I could do things like that.
Comment: Why, thank you for looking at my profile! Thanks for the tips on murder mysteries (no, not Cozies)! I can't udder anything bad about Holsteins on the front of your card - we have them here, too! Thanks for the pc and the interesting stamps! Good luck on getting Amish postcards!
Response: I love reading everyone's profiles...so many of us are incredibly similar! And you made me laugh.....!!!
Comment: Well crap... googled letterboxing and just looked at images and it looks like something I could easily become addicted to! Off to research more! Oh! And, Great card! I always think of lighthouses as being in warm sunny places, fun to see some with snow.
If you do many trips to see lighthouses look into getting a Lighthouse Passport so you can collect stamps from the lighthouses you go see!
Response: Please let me know if you do begin letterboxing. It's SUCH a blast...an adventure all the time and it's FREE!
Response: One of my parents (I was, until last May, a teacher. I've always called all my kids' parents "MY" parents) told me that and I've never forgotten it, he was a real hoot and I laugh every time I think of it!
