Comment: Thank you for the lovely succulent card and inserts! I´m so sorry that your camping weekend left so much to be desired, but glad that you took that as motivation to begin your own troop with better-behaved leaders.
Response: Thanks so much! I’m nervous, but also excited!
Comment: This is one of the best swaps I've ever received in all my years on Swap-Bot! Thank you so much. The envelope and stamp are both creative and clever - SHAARRK!! 😂 - and everything inside is beautifully coordinated. Thank you so much for this memorable and creatively inspiring piece of mail.
Response: Awww!! Wow, that is a huge compliment!! Thank YOU!!
Comment: Hi Annaliese ! I received your resend to day and thanks so much for it. Thanks for the so cute kitty cat and for your answer to who you looked up to. Like you, I also looked up to my Paternal grandfather. He was my whole world too. Sounds like your grandfather was born around the same time mine was. Mine was born in 1898. He and my grandmother seen everything and he told me so many stories. I could never get enough of the stories either and those stories I have passed down to my children. Thanks again.
Response: How wonderful! We both are lucky to have had them in our lives. 💜💜💜
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card. I love all the insects. My grandmother had Lily of the Valley in her garden. They grow on my Animal Crossing island too lol. If I have to pick one favorite flower it would be pansies.
Response: You’re welcome! My kids love Animal Crossing. :)
Comment: First of all, this envelope is ADORABLE and I love that you made sure to put the little orange kitty on the front 🧡 This envelope was SO much fun to open and I'm absolutely going to use everything you sent, but I'm especially fond of these reward stickers (the puns are stellar ✨) and this super cute playing card 🐾 Thank you so much for the wonderful swap!
Comment: Ohh my gosh my baaabiees!! Amazing swap. The portrait is too good!! love all the little extras you sent and also the envelope made of an illustrated book page with the wooly sheep .... I love it, what a great idea! Baa baa black sheep carrying a bag full of wool!! Was so exciting to open. sorry for delayed rating!
Comment: Thank you for the Beatrix Potter theme ephemera. Love the book plate, so adorable! (So sorry about this late rating. I was double checking that I had rated this swap and saw that I had but I didn't mark the 5 and heart! I hate when I do that!)
Response: You’re very welcome and no worries! So happy you liked it! :)
Comment: Thank you for the variety of things you sent. I love the planner post it notes. So cute! and what a great idea to put them on a post card for safe keeping. Smart! Your handmade envelope was super cute too!! Have a nice day! :)
Comment: Anneliese, I loved your beautiful bird envelope! It was so much fun to find it mixed in with the regular not-so-exciting mail!! And thank you for all the nice Spring items you included; I especially like the flower cutout (from a gardening newspaper maybe?), the card with the rose pattern, and that delightful little bird image! Thanks for a great swap!!!
Comment: I love the envelope! I almost wish I bought calendars, since magazines usually have pages too lightweight for mailing. You always have such creative things to send. I love the 60s-style "Employ Optimism" paper, too.
Response: I’m so glad! I get sent a few calendars every year from various charities and can’t use them all, so they become envelopes. :)
Comment: Hi Annaliese once again, for yet another swap. Which I love very much. of the so cute piggy card, along with such a nice sentiment for Valentine's and for the Heart stickers. Love them too! Happy Valentine's day!
Comment: Thank you Annaliese, (you have such a beautiful name!), I love that gorgeous postcard you sent. Sounds like you had a very sweet snow day with your little one, days like that are the most precious. No snow days here in Florida, it was 82 degrees here today, and I'm loving it lol! Take care, I hope y’all stay warm ❤️!
Response: Oh my goodness, 82 degrees in winter?! Haha. I’m glad you liked the postcard and thank you about my name!
Comment: Ive been to your state YEARS AGO. It was in the middle of summer and it was soooo hot. That's the main thing I remember from that vacation. Currently, we have feels-like tempertures that are below zero and last week we had a snow day. Probably about the same day you did. Thanks for sending the postcard "home".
Response: I’m glad the postcard got home safely! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the swap and the beautiful PC.
You may find this interesting.
It is the road I live on and the photo was taken in front of my house. That's the shadow of the peek of the roof on the lawn to the right.
Response: Thank you so much!! I can’t wait to check out that link!
Comment: Thank you so much for the Halloween card! And the spooky goodies; my Halloween was fun. Kids did a bunch of Trunk or Treating and I got decent family pictures lolol Hope yours was filled with spooky fun too!
Comment: TYVM for the PC of buttons, with what schools you went to. You're so lucky, you only went 3 different elementary schools. I was an Army brat and travelled all over, with my father and went 10 different schools in diffrent states. I didn't mind going to different states. But did mind leaving the schools each, after having good friends. That part was very hard.
Response: You definitely have me beat on schools!!
Comment: Thank you for the very nice card. Can I come for a visit? You must live in the best part of America for beauty during Autumn. I've been in all those states and was very blessed to have parents who took us camping first in the back of a station wagon. LOL, We saw many pretty places. Thank you for all the extra goodies. :) The clippings remind me of my readers in grade school. I loved school and lived across the street from the school. Life was fun then. No worries.
Comment: Hi Annalise, Thanks so very much for the beautiful wax seals. They are fun, aren’t, they? I love the cats and bunnies. I saw that Hobby Lobby just recently started carrying the wax beads. Thank you also for the pretty extras!
Comment: Oh, my goodness! Your beautifully-made envelope was so nice to find in my mailbox. I love all of the book pages, the stickers, and the awesome Ada Lovelace card. I will post pics on Instagram soon. Thank you very much! <3
Response: Hooray! I’m so happy you loved everything!!!
Comment: It's been chilly here too! Much more than last year. Everything was kind of late coming out, but really I think it was just back to the normal of a few years ago. Stay safe and healthy and enjoy your gardening!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely patches! I will use the coffee one on an upcoming swap I have for coffee themed... or I may just use it on my jean jacket?! Love both of the patches! Scribble fabric is great!
Response: You’re welcome! We had a lot of fun making the scribble fabric!
Comment: Hi Annaliese thank you for the beautiful William Morris "Flora" postcard. This is such a perfect tip because I was gifted with these sewing needles made in Japan and they were so long...then I just finished a swap and my partner has the Sashiko embroidery on her profile page. Now I know what those needles are for. And a new embroidery technique. Happy Spring swapping. be safe be loved be healthy
Response: That makes me so happy! When I first used a sashiko needle, I was amazed at how much easier it was to make straight lines. I’m glad my tip was relevant! :)
Comment: The little handsewn book is my favorite but all the profile items warmed my heart: the Engelbreit picture, the Harry Potter postcards, and the Beatrix Potter card (do you suppose the Potters were related?) at this crazy time of isolation I feel,so lucky tomhave made a friend.
Response: I think the Potters probably were related. Beatrix had art and storytelling magic! Thank you again for the amazing package you sent. I also feel lucky to have made a friend. Yay, SwapBot! 😊
Comment: Thank you for the PC. I noticed that you matched a British PC to the book about England. Awesome! You know, I have heard of the Once and Future King... but I have not read it. It sounds very interesting. I will have to add it to my "when I retire from crafts and can only read" list! The list is getting very long!! :-) Happy Weekend.
Response: You’re welcome! I highly recommend The Once and Future King. It’s sooo great!
