Comment: I love it thank you! I can't wait to put these in caches! And!!! and!!! I know you! I bought some of your jewelry last year at the JR women's league and love it. I get all kinds of compliments from it. Awesome work! I will try to get to Hyde park tomorrow. =)
Response: First, I'm glad you like the cache items... have some fun with those. Second, SOOO glad you've already paid us a visit! We may not be there tomorrow (given the potential rain), but stop by and say hi any time :)
Comment: What a lovely postcard! Thank you so much. I will actually be in/near Orlando this summer..visiting my parents in July. They live in Tarpon Springs area and we may actually be going to Orlando. I'll perhaps be able to check out the fountain! Thank you!
Response: Glad you liked it, and thanks for hosting!
Comment: will re-rate if i receive anything- but so far you haven't even marked as sent and not contacted me about delays :(
Response: Had some serious life issues that sprung up unexpectedly a year ago and didn't fulfill the swap. It's a year later and I've reached out to Thundercat who was kind enough to respond. I've sent her the swap, and I hope she enjoys the long-delayed gratification :)
Response: Had some serious life issues that sprung up unexpectedly a year ago and didn't fulfill the swap. It's a year later and I've reached out to nmterrier and if she responds, I'm looking forward to making good on a long-overdue promise.
Response: Had some serious life issues that sprung up unexpectedly a year ago and didn't fulfill the swap. It's a year later and I've reached out to Terry who, although she isn't active much here right now, was glad to hear from me.
Comment: I just was going through and organizing swaps and I realized I never rated you. I'm so sorry! Yours is one of my all time favorite Zentangle ATCs. Its so well done! Thank you! And sorry about the late rating!
Response: No problem :) :) I was worried that it hadn't gotten there. Very glad you liked it!
Comment: Thank you for the ATCs, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!! The John Wayne Gacy one is the BEST ATC I'VE EVER RECEIVED (to date). **AMAZING** Anyone who gets you as a partner will be VERY lucky for sure. Hope to swap with you again!!
Response: I am seriously glad you liked them :) I hadn't thought the serial killer swap would be so much fun, but it was a chance to get a little creative. Thanks for the kind words and happy swapping in 2010!
Comment: Got the atc today and i love it. I love when my partners take time to actually draw and color an atc then to stick a picture on it or a sticker. And don't feel bad about being late, i completely understand and i mean my other partner hasnt even sent theirs out yet either so your pretty early!
Response: Wow! It got there in only one day :) Glad you like the card... I'm partial to hand-drawn cards as well. But I guess each person has his or her own talents. And thanks too for your patience... it has been a crazy few weeks!
Comment: VuMaster sent his list of 100 things and it was just beautiful. There were things on his list that had not even crossed my mind. I want to know all about taking the train in TOKYO. I so miss IKEA(the one's in Germany are better than the ones state side). This list could easily be turned into a gratitude journal. It was wonderful. I do so hope you will continue to add to your list, everyday.
Sincerly, Vernete Smith
Response: Vernete: Thanks for the kind words :) putting together the lost was a fun exercise and made me think of all the amazing, positive things I have in my life. I'm actually keeping a folded copy in my wallet now. As for the train in Tokyo, I'm over 6'2 (about a head taller than 99% of Tokyo), so I always felt like Godzilla when packed in the Tokyo metro with everyone else :)
Comment: thanks a lot for the postcard !! (sorry for belated rating, mu daughter took the postcards to her granmother's home and forgot them there, I had to wait to have them back to rate, really sorry)
First of all, thank you so much for joining my swap. You made it amazing! I LOVE the CD you sent. I think so far, my favorite is 'Time To Say Goodbye' by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman. I am a big fan of Andrea! I transferred your whole CD onto my iPod. I love it! Thanks again. :)
Response: Glad you like the CD and thanks for hosting an awesome swap :)
Comment: Wonderfully Beautiful/Amazing CD. I enjoyed the little comments about each track, too. I've been listening to the CD over and over, and love every song! Thank you so much! +♥
p.s. Your ATC gallery is amazing!
Comment: , lives near you, in Titusville..we will be visiting for Thanksgiving, so I will see if I can tell the diff. in the skyline when we are in Orlando this time...
Thanks for the "historic" perspective!!
P.S. I cant' believe I found someone else who has read the "Agatha Raisin" books...I don't like M.C. Beaton's other stuff as much, although I have read it, but Hamish McBeth isn't quite as funny or fascinating as Agatha, don't you agree?
Response: I'm still working through the Agatha Raisins (only like 40 more to go...) so haven't even had time for Hamish yet. Good to know they may not measure up! :)
Comment: I love Coke! So much better than Pepsi. I think Pepsi drinkers are evil and hate America. Also, I capitalize Mom, but that's because I think of my Mom's first name as Mom. I half expect Mom to appear on her driver's license.
Response: Ummm... you've stumbled on Pepsi's secret plan to take over America. I will pray for your safety.
Comment: Wow, thank-you! I can't believe you got me TWO shirts, what a surprise! The green shirt fits me perfectly, and the Aiden shirt fits my little brother (who loves Aiden) perfectly, so you have not one but TWO very pleased swap-recipients here! Thank-you for putting so much effort in :D
Response: I was worried about the fit, but I'm very glad you like the shirts :)
