Comment: Sorry for the very late rating, I received your swap only in July because it was missent to Malaysia!! I really really loved your photos, they're all beautiful but I especially love the pademelon (so cute!!) and the brownfield lane park.
I'm still ok for the private postcard swap we talk about but need some time if you're ok.
Response: Glad it finally arrived! Sure, just message me when you are ready. :)
Comment: I TOTALLY LOVE this postcard‼️‼️ and would give you more hearts if I could.
Enjoyed reading your note about the book you are reading, which I will be checking out of the library. Thank you for this fab mail and a Queen postal stamp also👑. 💌
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful pictures. I was thrilled to receive a letter from Tasmania. First one from your country. My favorite picture is the Tasmanian Devil. I like most any animal that is FURRY. I imagined they were much bigger or is this just a little one ?? He's got some claws on the him. Thanks again truly enjoyed your letter.
Response: Glad you enjoyed the photos. The devil is normal size, so probably smaller than you were expecting, but full of personality!
Comment: Dear Sue, thank you very much for this very nice Postcard you sent. It was such a nice feeling to find it in my mailbox <3 The quality is really good and now it will be pinned in my living room :)
Comment: Sooooo cute! Thank you so much for the adorable postcard :) :) Hope you are ok in all the bushfires and keeping cool in the heat. All our best wishes!
Response: Thank you. Trying to keep cool and thankfully the bushfires aren't close to me, although we have had some smoky haze and the smell of smoke in the air at times. We really need some decent rain.
Comment: Thank you for the Space PC. Very nice. I too love to take photos of Nature. That and my flower gardens and kitties. I checked out the photos from your profile. Excellent. The Black Swans are stunning. Thanks again.
Comment: Sue, didnt know that this animal (Yellow Bellied Glider) existed so thank you for making me aware. very interested that you sponsor two Tasmanian devils. See you live in Queensland. Spent Christmas visiting family on the Fraser Coast. Happy swapping.
Response: Fraser Coast is a lovely area, make sure you visit Fraser Island one day, it's one of the best places I've ever been to.
Comment: This is one of the coolest pieces of mail I've ever received! You sent a FDI and it was something I've never heard of but found incredibly cool, so I even learned something new! This was just over the top awesome, thank you!
Response: You're very welcome, glad you liked it. :)
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the kookaburra you sent me, it is a very beautiful bird and very interesting in its customs, by the way ... the stamp are beautiful too ... Greetings from Chile!
Comment: What an adorable little guy -- and the matching stamp, too! He looks a lot like one we have here in AZ which is called a kangaroo rat. He builds mounds of sticks, etc. as a nest, and is known for finding shiny things and hiding them away in his nest. I suspect they may be distant cousins. Thanks, and happy swapping!
Comment: Hi Sue! Thank you so much for the Totoro postcard, it's the second Studio Ghibli postcard I've received through Swap Bot and I absolutely adore it! Totoro is such a sweet film, I just love it. And that washi tape you added - gorgeous! You'll have to let me know where you got it from! Many thanks again! From Sophie :)
Response: Glad you like it. And there are lots of Ghibli and Totoro washi tape on Aliexpress. :)
Comment: The Squirrel Glider is definitely cool looking, would love to see him glide. I enjoyed your postcard and reading about it. Thank you very much for sending it it'll be another great card to show my granddaughtersk
Comment: Thank you very much for your wonderful card with the cute Antechinus!! I've actually never heard of this animal before so I just learned sth new :D. Thank you very much for your introduction of this animal!! All the best for you <3
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful daisy postcard. Doris Day starred in a movie called "Please Don't Eat The Daises" When you said these were a source of food my mind automatically started singing the song from the movie. LOL!
Comment: Hi Sue, brilliant as always, thanks! I hear that getting to Antarctica as a tourist is getting easier as the years go by. Theres even a Lonely Planet guide...I have been tempted by the antarctic sight seeing flights, one day....
Response: Yes, I have my eye on that flight too. :)
Comment: LoooVe your pc! And the stickers and your love for animals . We love animals too and hope the tasmanian devil survives. I promese that i visit your blog. Mayor we can exchange some others pcs. Have a great day
Comment: It was so interesting reading about your weather! 20C sounds so ideal for me, it's funny that it seems warm to you! And it rains here in Seattle SO much so I can't wait until it's dry again. And this is a super unpopular opinion but I like the humidity, lol :) Thanks for the postcard!
Comment: Honored to receive a card from the coordinator :) Hi Sue, that's a great card from Narrabri. In a past life I worked briefly at the Mt Kaputar broadcast transmitters, in the days when it was staffed, long time ago. I also occasionally worked at Tidbinbilla DSCC, Canberra. Hence my enthusiasm for space and technical things. I encourage you to run the swap again, there seems to be interest. Regards, R & J.
Response: Glad you like it. Small world, isn't it? :)
Comment: Sue, what a beautiful card from Australia!!!!! we were just disappointed that there wasnt a postmark on it :( but the sticker of the tasmanian devil is so cute!!!! i love it! when micah was younger he loved the wiggles!!!
Response: Glad to hear you liked the postcard. What a shame about the postmark. I know how disappointing that is. I like postmarks on my postcards too.
Comment: Love the quote. :) And hello to another slave to the Turkish Van! :) Are you a member of the Turkish Van Cat Chat group on Facebook? I've posted lots of pics of Ben there - & maybe I've seen your guy as well!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful cool ocean PC! Yes, that is warm. Sounds a bit like here. We have been 82-83 every day since before Christmas but tomorrow we are supposed to get a "COLD" front where it will get down into the 50s at night and the very chilly 70s in the daytime. LOL! That's Texas winter for you! Happy New Year!
Response: You're most welcome and happy new year to you as well. :)
Comment: Squeal! A first edition PC --- I've never had one of these before. How fun! And the book rec sounds EXACTLY like the kind of thing I read. Going to look for it on Amazon right now! Thanks so much!
Response: Glad you like both the postcard and the book rec. Happy reading! :)
Comment: Sue, your beautiful card makes me want to visit Fraser Island! I laid it on my desk and my sweetheart saw it and said, "wow, where is that!?" Thanks for sending it and the BEAUTIFUL stamps. Hearts and hugs...jinanne
Response: You're welcome Jinanne, glad you like it. Fraser Island is a magical place, I hope you can visit it one day. :)
Comment: Hi Sue. Thank u for the great postcard of Fraser Island lakes. We also have that kind of lake. It is called Tasik Dayang Bunting (Pregnent Maiden Lake) in Langkawi Island. All the best to u. Happy holiday.
Response: You're welcome and Merry Christmas to you as well. :)
Comment: Thank you for the stunning, calming, unbelievably vivid BLUE view of Lake McKenzie and the gorgeous fauna and pineapple postage, Sue! I also like your handwriting, which reminds me of one of my favorite fonts :) Thank you for helping brighten my Saturday! Hope you are well.
Response: You're most welcome, glad you liked it. :)
Comment: Thanks for the bear postcard! I love it! I'm embarrassed to admit that I just had to convert C to F to figure out that your winters are fairly mild! Here in San Antonio, our winters are what I consider mild as well--in the 60s. Much better than the oppressive summers which reach the 90s!!
Comment: Thanks for informing me of this fundraising program. Pity they're using such ugly cards for it.
Response: I'm so sorry you didn't like the postcard. It does state on it that the picture was done by a 10 year old child, I believe they won a competition and their artwork was turned into a postcard to promote the Appeal. I thought you would like it because it was to do with art and animals. Sorry.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard! Both of my partners for this swap live in Ocean-side towns and both of you sent me postcards with views of your cities and their beaches. I am feeling distinctly jealous, here in the desert in my landlocked state of Arizona. Thank you for providing me with a dream! It sound like you live in a fascinating and fabulous place, but I am not so enthused about the 287 days of sunshine. (The sun and I are not friends, *haha*) That's really neat that you can see the ocean from your work-desk. i don't know that I'd be able to work with a view like that. :-) Thanks for sharing!
