Comment: Just reviewing my ratings, and I never left one for this either! Gah! So sorry for the lateness. The package was INCREDIBLE and above and beyond. I especially loved the action figures and the little ship ornaments for my fandom-friendly Christmas tree. Thank you for so many amazing Star Trek goodies!
Comment: Extremely late rating; package arrived right on time. I LOVE this! T-shirt folding board--I needed this! Sheldon action figure--awwww! Green Arrow is one of my new obsessions, so this was perfect. These Star Trek cards are from before I was born, so I'm not going to chew the gum LOL But it's a great addition. Plus sticker and BBT cards. D&D character pages! And dice!!!!! And Raj minifig!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a fantastic, thoughtful, and fun package. Thank you so much. Can't wait to fold some shirts.
Comment: Hi Kimberly, I love the seeds you sent. I'm excited to grow the acorn squash this year! The others will grow well in a planter that I plant to let be a little wild with a little bit of everything in there. Thanks!
Response: I bet that will be a neat planter. I hope it's big! :)
Comment: Thank you for the clever and thoughtful package. Its unfortunate mishap with the postal system is not your fault, and many of the items survived fine. I especially liked what you chose for G! Thanks :-)
Response: I do have extra "Giant Lego Bricks" if the one you got was damaged at all. I'll be happy to send one your way. :)
Comment: Thanks you so much for the tea and wonderful note. I loved the quotes. This is my first month with swap-bot and it was such a joy to get your letter. I had forgotten how enjoyable it is to receive a hand written note in the mail. I wish you happiness with your activities this year :-)
Response: Welcome to Swap-bot. I've enjoyed having this hobby over the years. Sometimes I'm more active than others, but it meets my needs. I'm glad you enjoyed the packet.
Comment: Received! Thanks for the package. My father's going to LOVE the Game of Thrones game! Thank you for the ruby slipper cards and paper dolls for my friends! Loved the Scotland doll and the kilt was a hoot! And S.H.I.E.L.D. things! Yay! There were a couple items from fandoms I don't like or follow, so I'm a little confused about their presence in the package. But there was still enough overall to make me squee.
Comment: I loved this package! I was especially thrilled with Wicket (I might have screamed out loud) and, after I hugged him, considered taking him to work to keep me company the rest of the day ;-) I also really loved the Ani Play Doh set and some of the books I don't already have. Awesome! Also, I'm down to my last few Star Wars LEGO Valentines, so it's amazing to have a whole new stash again. Squee! The hat is a little small for me, but I'll make it work one way or another. Loved all the little figures and even a few LEGO Minifigs! Thanks so much for making this a fun package to open!
Response: Thank you for hosting the best swaps! Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: Uh oh. I hate to tell you, but I think the tribble you included in my package was pregnant. Tribbles practically exploded out of the package when I opened it! I will find appropriate spots/homes for them all :-) Thank you so much for the items, especially the action figures (signed? GAH! Awesome!!!!!!!). The little Spock is so cute I may not be able to give him away to my friend. Also, how did you know that Star Trek: DS9 books are pretty much the only ST books I read now? You must be a telepath. Thank you for everything. It is beyond amazing. 4 million hearts to you!
Response: Thanks for getting the Tribble joke. I giggled to myself for a week over that one! I'm glad you liked the package. :)
Comment: Thanks for sharing your August with me! You may not have gone to a convention like me, but you definitely had some LEGO fun last month! I loved the images, especially of your organizational scheme and building area with your kids. Looks like fun!
Comment: A great mix of crafts, decorating ideas, sets, and MOCs. What a fun board full of everything LEGO! You had a couple repeats I noticed; I just wanted to mention, FYI. But I loved seeing all the creative, interesting things you pinned. I'm definitely going to have to favorite the board and come back for more looks in the future. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: This was the biggest box I've ever picked up at the post office. I had three other boxes as well (one almost as big) and had to get help carrying it all to my car! Right away I opened the first two compartments and started building something out of the pieces. I'll add to it each day and send you a photo of what it turns out to be! I haven't had an advent calendar in years. What a thrill to get to enjoy such a lovely (and big!) LEGO one! Thank you!!
Comment: Exceptional! I might have screamed with happiness and surprise while opening it. Three separate times. I'm not sure what to do with the partial game board, but I'll figure something out--I only gave it a quick look last night :-) The trivial pursuit game was shockingly amazing--I can't wait to play it with my family! Eomer is fantastic. The elvish script is going up on my wall by my desk. And the Eowyn-kitty card is going straight into my Christmas package for my friend. Oh, and I already had a copy of Ringers, but mine is unwatched and unopened, so I'll swap it with this one, as this is a gift ;-) The book... one of my favorite covers! I'm torn between keeping it and releasing it via BookCrossing at the movie. Thank you SO much for an outstanding package! AMAZING!!!
Comment: Oh my goodness! This is amazing! Have you seen photos of my craft room? How did you know I organize all my things in those exact size/shape boxes? I am SO thrilled I'll now have an appropriately decorated place to put all my LEGO craft materials. The contents were wonderful as well! Origami, those little minifig boxes (awww!), more stationery, even apprpriately colored tissue paper. So amazing! A thousand hearts. Above & beyond!
Response: Actually, I have seen photos of your craft room (and am just a little bit jealous, I must say). I didn't remember the size of the boxes, but I hoped you would like the idea in general. I am happy that you are! :)
Comment: Congrats on the adoption. It sounds like you've got quite the ambitious list to conquer. I am eager to see the Star Trek blanket and I wish you the best of luck on Jane Eyre. I had to read it twice for school (English major) and I didn't like it either time. Wide Sargasso Sea was much more interesting to me. Good luck in September.
Comment: I bet that server was thrilled by the tip. Yay for random acts of kindness :-) Your daily challenge goal seems huge--I look forward to hearing your experience with that! Keep up the good work!
Comment: Thank you! My very first set as a child was a firetruck, so this made me grin (it's a bit more advanced than mine was LOL). And a cute doggy as well! Thank you so much for the set and the extras--I didn't even KNOW there was a Bionicle comic once upon a time!
Response: I'm glad you liked the set. It had more Legos than the other sets close to that price range. It felt empty just to throw the box in there so I added some extras. I collect all things Lego and found that I had a few extra comics. I'm glad I made you smile!
Comment: wow your list is jam packed with stuff! i think i would be too overwhelmed for most of those items :D you seem to have a few done already though! I'm still new to the 101 things but it seems like a nice goal making .. thingie. :D
Comment: What a clever idea to make a journal post. I think I'll copy you and do the same! I really enjoyed all the photos--a great mix. I wish you much luck in organizing and in future building adventures for you and your boys.
Response: Thanks KateKintail! I would love to be copied on your post even though I'm not your send to partner.
Comment: Above and beyond indeed! This was fantastic! Minifigs, mini sets, magnets, directories, and more! My favorites are the bag and the stationery set! I can't wait to use them! Thank you so very much!
Response: It was actually great fun to put together; especially since it was for you. Since we've been swap partners so often, I was challenged to not be stale! So glad you liked it.
Comment: Thank you for sending your progress email. I'm finding that the monthly accountability is really helping me keep up with my progress--and you have SO many items in progress. And three done within the first month or so? You're fantastic! Keep up the good work :-)
Comment: Thank you for the second package, you truly went above and beyond! My son was running around the house jumping up and down with joy and excitement saying that he is going to start a collection of mini-Legos! Thank you again for everything!
Thank you so much for the package. The envelop was beautiful and my son loved the extra stickers!
Response: Thanks for letting me know the second package arrived okay (lesson learned, hopefully). I'm so glad I was able to create some positive excitement at your house. :)
Comment: Welcome to our group! Thanks for sharing your progress for April. I really like the idea of putting together a prioritized list. I like lists, that appeals to me. Also good advice to just work through a few things so one does not get overwhelmed. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and need to step back and evaluate. I'm just so impressed with all that you've managed to do in about 2 weeks. All the best for a terrific May!
Comment: Sorry for the late rating! 19 goals in progress is great! The mini Day Zero book you can carry around with you sounds like a great idea. You've got some amazing goals (becoming debt free! Making furniture!) but it looks like a great variety of things to do, things to make, and things to think about. I wish you luck in working on them all!
Comment: Thanks! I love the one you chose for funny-I named my LEGO space the "Legolas Lego Loft." Hagrid and the kids-I almost went with that LOL! Your "scary" choice is astounding--I wish I'd made it. You made some great selections! Thanks!
Comment: Clever use of materials! This definitely put a smile on my face when I pulled it out of the mailbox today. Nice work. And thanks for all the goodies inside! You might smile with recognition when you open the one I mailed out to you yesterday ;-)
Comment: LOL! What are the odds that we'd send each other the same one? (Actually, just one out of 16, right?) Thanks for it and the card. It was still fun, wondering which one I'd get--a true blind selection as opposed to me feeling up all the bags in the store. Thank you for the card as well :-)
Comment: I've been saving some of my LEGO catalogs for future ATCs. This one was so great--love the holiday theme (I have that tree/set!) and that there's even a little hiding on the back :-) Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the new-to-me LEGO bricks. I loved all the little extras as well--the stickers and crayons (how AWESOME!!!) and all. I've never had an official LEGO sorting tray before either, so that's super neat. I've never had a cow either. AWESOME! The labels on days got a bit mixed up in the mail (now I'm worried about the ones in the container I sent you) but the bricks all stayed put. Thank you so much for the LEGO-filled holiday fun. This was such a special package to open!
Comment: Thank you so much for your amazingly generous parcel. I had so much fun going through everything. Of course my 3 year old grandson claimed the stickers. I'm totally crazy about the envelopes. I didn't know that you can make them yourself. They are so clever. Somehow 1 heart does not seem to be enough. Many thanks, hugs, and hearts for the abundance and thoughtfulness of your parcel.
Comment: Thanks. Please remember to write the name of the swap on an item you send... I was a little confounded about the origin of this package until I figured it out. As for the item, it's not really my kind of thing, but I can tell you put a lot of time into it so that's nice.
Comment: Thank you sooooo much for everything, you went way above and beyond!! I love the atc/bookmark supplies and the books especially :) Oh and thank you for the coupons, I already see a few that I can use right away!:)
Comment: Thanks so much for the American Idol ATC! It is very cute and I love the sparkles! I only watch the audition episodes of American Idol - I think they are hilarious! Love the ATC you made... Thanks for the little extras too!
Comment: Thank you for the great ATC. I love the colors you used in the card. Great piece of art. I love the sun. It has something that makes my day bright =D. Thank you for such a wonderful card and the extras too.
Comment: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! The original package Kimberly sent me in the mail got torn in transit and lost the item for our swap. She was super-duper kind enough to send me another cell-phone charm in the mail. :D If I could give her two hearts I would! <3 Wonderful swapper! ^.^
Comment: Hello Kim, Thank you for the ATC you designed and created for me for this swap. I appreciate you sharing your creativity with me. It is really neat that in this swap, I got no two ATCs with the same theme. In fact, your ATC with an Egyptian theme is the first for my entire ATC collection. I appreciate how you used varied magazine cutouts to build this ATC and to give it an Egyptian feel. Your ATC showed thoughtfulness and care. Until we meet again, Happy Swapping!!!!
Comment: Thanks for the great little crafty package. You fulfilled the 5 words many times over and now I have a kit for making cards!! You really personalized it for it and obviously took the time to read my profile.
