Comment: I'm so excited to read this book! I may have to visit Michigan after reading it to investigate some of the places. Thanks for including the extras and explanation of your favorite locations. Love, Love, Love!!!
Comment: Hello Mandi!
Thank you for your pc! The photo was amazing plus the quote was super nice!
ps. You're right, thank goodness we have coffee and swaps 'cause winter is coming to Finland soon too, haha!
Comment: Mandi I love this card ... I bought and own one of them myself! My garden looks so sad... I don't have the time to water so maybe next year I'll have something other than the mint and rosemary that seem to be surviving the heat and neglect! Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Thanks so much for the beautiful postcard! It's so pretty, and I will enjoy adding it to my growing pc collection. Fall is also my favorite season, and then, like you, along comes Winter and it is very bad here in Central NY too. Thanks again, Mandi and Happy Swapping.
Comment: Mandi!! <3 Thank you SO much once again for the AWESOME postcard!! :D And I completely agree with you when it comes to people who purposely go out of there way to ruin a persons good mood! I'm a cashier so I feel this way alot, and sometimes it becomes so frustrating! Especially since I can't say anything to these people or I could lose my job :( but as you say, they're just miserable and it won't do any good if we let them bring us down with them! I just tell myself that I'll only have to see them maybe once or twice in my life, that's the only thing that gets me through, lol!
You're SO right, niceness will go a long way!! I wish everyone thought this way.... The world would be a nicer place! But anyways, thanks again and I hope you're having a wonderful week, and I just gotta say that I can't get over how awesome the pc you sent is, I love the vintage Halloween vibe it gives off! :D xoxo Kat <3
Comment: Mandi! I love, love the Anne Taintor postcard! It's so nice to receive "snarky" cards! Really, I get so bored sometimes with the postcards I receive, you know? And I know what you mean, I get really excited when I get a partner that doesn't get easily offended! So thank you for being one who also enjoys different postcards! And yes "imaginary men" are really the best of all!!
Comment: Hi Mandi! Love your pc and yes it did make me giggle! At my work the drama ususally comes because of my boss - my mantra, 10 more years, I can do this for 10 more years!! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hello! ♡ I'm not sure if this was the re-send or not, but I received your postcard today! Thank you soo much! :D ♡ I am also very glad to hear I'm not the only one who loves complaining(and also kind of endorses it), lol! I think it's healthy (in moderation, of course). And as you say, it gets so much off your chest and almost always makes you feel better! Hehe :) I love the little sticker you added too, so cute! Thanks again! :D ♡
Comment: Great card -- so very "roaring Twenties"!!! BTW -- I lived in Battle Creek for 1 year -- my senior year in HS -- so I know about your temps. Would love to trade for AZ -- spring here lasts about 2 days and then we go headlong into summer! Happy swapping!
Comment: Love the card. One summer our family lived with friends while our home was being built. A robin made a nest on their porch.we put a mirror up so that we could check on them often. I was amazed how quickly the babies grew.
Comment: Thanks for the little postcard from your city as well as the little map keyring. It made my day. I never really knew much about Michigan. It would have been cool back in the old days. Thanks so much Mandi :)
Comment: Thanx Mandi! Would love to have the wood off this "hotel"!!..could do some amazing things with it!! As yet, the news on "yooper" hasn't made it to Las Vegas yet...maybe I'll have to be on the cutting edge of using it...as soon as I google what it is!!! LOL!!!
Comment: Thank you for the Spartan Spirit pc! I live close to University of Illinois, I know just what you mean our campus is huge too. We enjoy campus during spring break and summer when most of the students are gone. :D
Comment: It really is a beautiful magnet and the colors are super awesome, thanks a bunch! The extras were nice and I loved the embossed skulls on the card :) it's getting warmer in here and I too can't wait for summer to come<3
Comment: I think that this card (viewcard of Lansing, Michigan) I received from you belongs to this swap, correct me if I'm wrong! :) Thank you so much for this card! It sounds like we have the same kind of weather here in Finland. Spring was heading towards us but then we had snow blizzard and now it's still much colder - but sunny. Hope that srping will come back soon - for both of us!
Comment: Thank you for the PC of Michigan's Capitol Building. Yes, it has been a longer winter than usual. In fact the day before St Patrick's I was waylaid an extra day here in Northern Arkansas before returning home due to snow.
Comment: Wow! I love that you based my PC on my profile. It's beautiful. I thought I rated it as soon as I got it, but maybe I was in the wrong place...when I rated LisaLisa3's resend, I saw yours wasn't done. I'm not sure what happened.
Comment: WOW!!! What an incredible package of wonderfulness you sent us! Mazzy LOVES her new toy and has been carrying it everywhere! You really went all out, wish I could give you 5 hearts! Thank you so much!!!
Comment: Oh my goodness! What excellent presentation! I love it when a swapper is serious and puts effort into a swap! Lotsa hearts for you, hope we swap again! Many thanks to you, Super partner! = ) ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡ Love the card, also! I won the partner lottery on this one!
Comment: Absolutely a joy to get mail! I loved the spider. (He wasn't overly friendly and respected my wish to be left in peace.) The book is currently sitting on my bookshelf until the morning so that I can sleep at night. (I actually visited Stephen King's daughter's farm up in Maine and I have to say I was proud that I didn't jump for joy and squeal like a small child on Christmas day.) Thanks so much!
Comment: My first big letter pc - thank you, I love it! :o) Fall is my favorite time of year, second is winter. That's a good thing when you live in MN. ;o) Now that I'm cooped up so much due to health issues, I agree that swap-bot will make the long winter bearable - I miss long walks with dogs in the winter woods. :o(
Comment: Wow, what a gorgeous pc of your state capitol - love the architecture, the night view with all the lights & fireworks, and a filled up left side! The stickers are cool too. Okay, I love everything about it. ;o)
Thanks for a great swap! :o)
Comment: Hi! I love your pc! My son is in the Army now! He completed ROTC and college in May, now he is an "Adult"! LOL! He said he is not good with that A word! I think your wish sounds amazing but maybe a different author, Stephen King scares me! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Mandi! What an absolutely WONDERFUL letter! My hubby and I read it together and we were both so touched by your honesty and sincerity. At one point, my hubby said, "Wow...she put a lot of work in that!" I did, indeed, read your story and am so happy for you to have come out healthy on the other side. We are alike in a few ways--I don't like spending time with lots of people either and I've been preaching about the evils of oversharing for years! Lovely lovely letter and I'd like to write back ;+)
Comment: Hey Cupcake! :-)
Loved the Petoskey Stone PC. I recently found a pin on pinterest about coral that comes from the sea like your PC Picture. I never knew. What a find that would be. I love to fossil! Thanx for sharing it with me. Have an awesome weekend, blessings, ellie
Comment: thanks...I was born in Detroit, grew up there and my children were born in Michigan....so I know exactly what you're talking about. I still call it my hometown, and feel very sad about how it is right now.
Comment: I L-O-V-E-D this atc. It was simple but awesome!!! Not to mention funny as hell. My boyfriend and I both got a kick out of it, for I've had the very same experience. Thanks so much for the laughs!
Comment: Loved the headstones! especially the ones with the 3d flowers and trees (pieces of art in and of themselves!) Thats why I like the older cemetaries: they actually try to reflect the people who died. They don't all look and read the same. Loved the card also.. thanks! :}
Comment: That's a Michigan map card that I don't have, so thanks very much! Your package arrived today (Thursday) and I just love it! I had IM'd you about maybe emailing you some cemetery pix, but instead I will have copies made for you. Hopefully I can get that done over the weekend.
Response: You are very welcome ^_^ I was hoping you would enjoy it! I sent you a message saying that you didn't need to print them out if it's too much of an inconvenience...email is good too :) It's been wonderful swaping with you and I look forward to it again soon!
Comment: This was my first swap and you were the first person I received something from! I loved the postcard with all the different scenes! I have never been to Michigan but my grandparents lived there and my mom was born there. I hope to get up there sometime! :)
Response: Yay! I'm glad I was your first swap! Michigan is a really is a nice place to visit :) I hope you do get the chance to come up here sometime!
Comment: What a perfect 1st ATC, love it, & nice card, too, did you make (as in hand carve) the cool block print card, too? ^_^
Response: I'm glad you like it ^_^ I unfortunatly I didn't have enough time to finish the block that I was working on that has an owl on it so I had to settle for an acrylic stamp :/ But I will be sure to get the block done in time for newer, better cards! Hope to swap with you again! :)
