Comment: 6/16/17: Very sorry to rate a 3. You sent cards, but they were touristy cards (Montana) and this swap was specifically for non-touristy cards. I messaged you on 6/8 but it looks like you haven't been on SB since early June.
Comment: I received your letter today. You mailed it to Dottie Perkins by mistake but she let me know and forward it to me. I enjoyed your letter very much! I also have a sister named Laurie. Sadly my Laurie passed away two months ago. She was 64. Still seems so surreal! Your garden sounds wonderful!
Comment: I don't wish to have to give low rating. But it's been over two months since the sent deadline, and PMS have been sent since last month in concerns to no swap mail is received. There's neither confirmation on whether the swap has been resent nor reply to recent PMs.
**(04/2017)**No swap card is received. If there's intent to resend, please send me PM. Last year, I've sent PMs but no response is received.
Response: Hello Dada
I am finally back here and I was wondering if I sent this swap. I know I had it set ouot to go but can't be positive I sent it. I will be re-send it if you haven't received it from me. My apologies for taking so long to attend to this. Chris [email protected]
Comment: Hi Chris! Thanks for the lovely note and the postcard of the continental Divide! I have seen it before on travels with my father so it was fun to revisit again thru postcard! Wow your mom is 95! Amazing hope she is doing great! Yes where does all the time go? Hehehe it goes no matter what we do or dont do!
Comment: Thank you for the colouring page and putting effort into making this swap special. I am glad that things worked out. The stamps on the envelope was extra special. I love all the postcards you sent me as well as the nice long letter. I will be answering your letter as soon as I have some time. Take care
Comment: Received your envelope of fun mail on Friday after work when I went home quickly to grab my suitcase and mail to leave town to visit family for May long weekend...had a giggle when I opened this up and find out you're from Kamloops!! And I'm in Kamloops for May long weekend!!
My heart hurt to read about your loss >'•'< nothing anyone can say or do to be able to make the hurt your heart feels go away...kitties leave paw prints on our hearts. 💕
Comment: Hi Chris thank you for the 2 lovely postcards and letter. Mount Robson looks so majestic and the scenery around it is breathtaking. Kamloops looks like a beautiful place to stay💖. Take care and all the best.
Comment: Thanks for the stickers, and even more for the extra gifts! The giraffe notepad is adorable :)
Also want to say thank you for checking my bracelet page, I appreciate that you wrote about it very much.
Comment: Rhank you for finally mailing this swap. I really loved the oage you chose, and all the amazing extras were so appreciated! I especially loved the "mail a critter" postcards, and all the scenery pc's were nice too! I've already found quite a few favorites among all the extra coloring pages. And I have never seen such a cool and beautiful stamp as the 10.00 one on the mailing envelope! Thank you so much!
Response: I am glad you liked all I sent. Sorry it took so long but I am feeling much better now. I thought the "mail a Critter" were cute. I love all the coloring pages available now too. The lady at the PO didn't want to use a real stamp but I finally persuaded her to. I thought it was pretty awesome. Chris
Comment: Thanks for the nice postcard and the sweet note. I appreciate you thinking of me and saying a prayer for me. :)
Response: Glad you liked Postcard and prayer. I'm thinking the world needs more praypers. Will see what I have on your like list. Still trying to catch up but seeing light at end of tunnel.
Comment: Thank you so much for the selection of postcards from Canada. Thank you for the note and I wish you well. Just for your info, you missed the first part of my address and it was sent to another house, and they kindly dropped it into me today x
Comment: Hi Chris, Thank you for the interesting map and tourist postcards. All of your stamps floated off the papers. I especially like the Christmas stamps and baby animal stamp on the envelope. Take care. Being late is no problem ever.
Comment: Thank you for the lengthy note! I enjoyed reading about you, your husband, and your grown children. Thank you for reading my profile and for everything you said. It's been a long time since my hair was blue, but it was once! I love to cross-stitch and hope you end up learning how to do it! Take care and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you very much for the lovely card, the two tea bags of black currant tea---I've not tried that flavor yet--a good treat for a morning or afternoon as I get busy in my art room. I'm looking forward to them---maybe adding one bite of brownie or a cookie--depending on what the scale says at Weight Watchers tomorrow! Most of all, thank you for the wonderful, chatty letter you added, the BEST part of the swap. I will definitely TRY TO set aside an hour or so to return the favor--perhaps we could be "pen pals"--I've been wanting to get going with someone, especially from outside the US--Canada works for that! You could help me live vicariously the three other seasons besides summer! Here in Houston summer is 6 months long; I will never forget the first one in 1977! By September, I remember walking out to mailbox in the dreadfully humid heat and wondering just how long this really is going to be! From late April until mid to late October is how long it lasts on average!
THANKS FOR a Great Swap!
Comment: Thanks so much for the stickers! AND the postcards -- LOVE the one with you and sibs on the horse. Very sweet. And thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely lovely -- I appreciate it!
Comment: Thank you for the bonus cards and wonderful explanations! Fun fact: The US Customs must have thought that your envelope looked interesting, so they opened it and took a peek! They left their official tape on the side to let me know!
Comment: Hi Chris!
Guess what arrived in my mail box on Saturday? I believe it is your original post card dated December 30. It's very curious that it arrived with no postmark ... so I don't know where it has been all this time! :-) I loved your card - the photo of Helmcken Falls is gorgeous. I was lucky enough to visit BC a few years ago. We went to Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, and Victoria. I'd love to make a return trip! If you're looking for a US pen-pal, let me know! Happy Swapping! Valerie
Comment: Wish I could give you more hearts, I love love the cards you sent me. Thank you for sharing the letter with me also. I too have the same condition your husband has and I have a machine, it is really great. Everything is practically back to normal in just one week of using it so I have one permanently now. It will improve his health big time.
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful swap =D. It was so kind of you to send me a birthday card and such lovely postcards! Also it is so refreshing to open a swap and find a nice letter included. And to top it all off you also sent a beautiful Christmas card. Thank you so much for your very generous swap. I wish I could give you 100 hearts. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Comment: So pretty! We can only wish for snow down here! Once every few years we might get a little, but nothing that sticks around, much to the frustration of many a kid who dreams of betting a 'snow day' from school! :) Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
Comment: Hi Chris! I received your letter today and thoroughly enjoyed reading it! You have beautiful handwriting.
I'm still nowhere near being ready for Christmas. I'm waiting until my husband gets his bonus before I do any shopping. Then it will be fast and furious work!!!
Congratulations on winning the door prize....that's exciting! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely items of recipe cards, and post card. I try to keep my post card collection away from daughter. She's destructive right now, but maybe one day she'll be interested. Thank you for the great Christmas card. It's on display at my workplace, and I keep the illustrated side. Have a great Christmas!
Comment: Oh dear....I thought there was no comment from you, and was raking my brain AND THEN I happened to put two and two together that this "mystery postcard" was from you! lol The postal mark is right over your name so it was VERY difficult to read who the sender is (grinz) Thank you for the lovely card, and note. My apologies that it took me so long to rate you.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcard of Quesnel, and also thank you for the detailed writings on the back! My bipolar is not doing so well, but thank you for asking; neither is my freelancing! Ha! But I try to keep a good attitude about it. I hope you and your family are doing well! Many thanks again <3
Comment: Thank you for the card. While I appreciate being contacted when you were going to be late this is the second time it has happened when I have been partnered with you. It might just be a day or two that you are late but it is still a not a good habit to start. Nor is it fun for your partners who send on time. Best wishes and I hope that you can get this sorted out before someone decides to rate a 3.
Comment: What a lovely surprise to find these beautiful postcards in the mailbox today! Thank you, I just love the wolves, and the lake is beautiful. I enjoyed reading your message. I'm not published yet, but I'm working on a series of essays that I plan to self publish on Amazon, one day soon. : )
Comment: We were very sorry Longmire ended too. My husband has read several of the books too. I couldn't quite make out your tip for stitching on black, could you send me a email please? I have a few adult coloring books too, I love them. There is a group called Coloring In, are you in it? I like it because you start with a design already in place. If you are in it great, we will hopefully exchange stuff. If not, you might want to check it out.
Comment: I loved the postcard, Canada is truly beautiful, I've never been but I watch TV and a lot of stuff I watch is based in Canada. I live in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and it is simply beautiful here too. Oh and I collect stamps and yours is one of my favorites. Thank you and Happy Fall 2015
Comment: Chris, thank you for your most informative notes. I truly miss the leaves turning color where I live. They just turn brown and drop or stay as we have load of long leaf pine tree. The needles are at least 10 inches long so they really make a mess. Thank you for the cute Christmas note card. Shirley
Comment: Thank you so much for your cute card, your wonderful letter and the little gifts you sent to me! I really enjoy all these things and you´ll get a little reply from me...if that´s ok for you!? :)
Comment: Hope construction is finished soon on the bridge! Thanks for the nice postcard
Response: Not til the end of October, at least! But they have switched sides and we are driving on the "new" bridge deck. Still has big clunky bumps on every joint. Glad you like the card.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful PC. I love your handwriting!!
Response: Glad you could read my writing. Sometimes the old fingers get sloppy. We had penmanship when I went to school and the nuns made sure you wrote correctly. My Mom and Aunt had lovely writing and I tried to write like they did. Chris
Comment: thank you for all the stamps! you actually did send me duplicates, a total of 8 sets actually, which makes it only 48 stamps in total, but thats ok ill give you a 5, even if the swap doesn't meet it, thank you anyway for trying. Not only that but you chose to send Canada stamps when in the swap I already chose to send it, you should please read the swap better next time and not rush!! sending me the letter saying you think there is no dupes but sending me 8 isn't very clear to me?
Response: Sorry that there were duplicate stamps in my swap.I was sure there were 50 commemorative stamps with some queen/flag ones I didn't count Maybe I put in the duplicate stack by mistake. I will round up another 50 stamps - from somewhere other than Canada, and send them off to you. Sorry for the mistake.
Comment: Chris, I hope you are feeling better! I really enjoyed your letter! I have been to Oregon twice this summer........I love it there. Lincoln City is great and I love Albany also! We drove through SLC on our way home, but didn't stay long, as my little one injured himself on the trip. I'll tell you all about it in my next letter ;)
Comment: I love the post cards and stamps. My hubby and I are heading off in 6 weeks for a 3 week holiday in Canada and Alaska. We are very excited so the postcards were perfect right now. Thank you so much.
Comment: oh, thank you for great swap, i love every single item you sent, super swap, and also thank youf birthday cards with your wishes. Many greetings:)Katka
PS and the birthadays my sister is 8th July 1977 and me 24th July 1976 so we are also very closed , it was busy for my Mum, too:)
Comment: Thank you for all the fun postcards you sent for NPCW. I just returned from my trip to Virginia and North Carolina and will try to get all the postcards I received onto the website over the next few days. Enjoy the day!
