Comment: OMG! I love my postcard! I don't find many people these days who even know who Piers Anthony is! My dad gave me "Heavens Scent" to read when I was about 10. I've been hooked ever since!
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and make my postcard extra special!
Response: You're welcome - I'm glad you liked it.
If you haven't read Piers' Incarnations of Immortality series, you really should check it out. I'll happily lend you my copies...
Comment: Thank you for the PC you even sent extra ones and the fortune teller fish :)
Though I must tell you that 4 out of the 6 cards you sent came off the note card paper. I think you need to use stronger glue or double sided tape. The are pretty pictures :) Wish I was there!
Response: I'm glad you liked them - I'm so sorry they came un-glued! Thank you for letting me know; I'll definitely use better adhesive next time!
Comment: OH MY Gosh Kimmberlie I LOVE my "mug" so, so much!! And I am so, so truly sorry for not rating sooner, I really am! I absolutely went nuts when I saw the mug cause it is so much like one my mother had when I was little. I love it and I can't thank you enough!! The Angel ATC are gorgeous... I love them both ~ you are so talented. I am jealous because I always wanted to be able to draw. I try but I end up re doing so many times! Love the 3D! Thank you so very much! XO Kelly :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm very glad you like the mug - I remember similar ones from my childhood, too. :)
Comment: What a lovely swap thank you so much! I love the cigar box it was packed in and all the jewelry is very nice and certainly things I will wear! I especially like the braclet. Thank you also for all the thoughtful extras. The jewelry findings are most welcome as I never seem to have enough and the cord is different than anything I have as arethe dominoes, I like that they are not heavy! A very thought ful swap! Hugs and hearts to you!, pat
Response: Pat, I'm so glad you like everything - have fun upcycling the wooden cigar box! :)
Comment: Wow, thank you so much for the very thoughtful swap!!! The cards are awesome, I look forward to using them this season :) I *adore* the Ohms's law sticky notepad, what a great idea. And the personalized needle holder will be great for my project box. The tips of my fingers thank you dearly for that one as I'm always having to dig a needle out of the bottom of the box, and usually that means usually at least one ends up in my finger. Thank you so much for the fun mail!!
Response: You're welcome - I'm very glad you like everything. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for all "3" necklaces, WOW! Each has it's own wonderful magic. The flying monkey is adore. He is my favorite from the Wizard Of Oz. The captured fairy, LOVE IT. I have never seen one like this. I may have to hide it from Sage. Lastly, love the black cat and skulls. Thank you again for such a rockin swap! Hugs, Mona
Response: I'm happy you like everything! :) The flying monkey is made from shrink plastic; I made the captured fairy from a tiny little "doll" purchased at one of my favorite web sites, "Tiny Things are Cute." Enjoy!
Comment: Oh my goodness...you're the best swap partner ever. Love, love it all, from the spooky key to the handmade gift tags to the custom post-it pad (wow) -- and everything in between. Thanks for putting so much thought and skill into this swap!

Comment: WOW! I can see all the thought, effort and TIME that went into this magnificent bracelet! I love the elements you mixed together and the volume of beads on the bracelet - it is truly special! The earrings are super cute too! LOVE this swap! Thanks a million! : ) p.s. I put the bracelet right on my wrist as soon as I opened the package! WIN!
Response: I'm very pleased you like it. I think it really kinda says "gothbarbie," don't you? :)
Comment: WOW GREAT package. How did you know I needed return address labels..... VERY appropriate. I LOVE everything! The envies will be used up quickly. GOOD job!
BTW I am wearing the pentacle necklace RIGHT now I love it! Sorry about crapping spelling! Have to clean my house BIG time, our German foreign exchange student will be here today, have seen her since the 80's! We are excited.
Response: I'm very happy you like everything. Have a great week!
Comment: I love what you made me, simply awesome. Fit for a Queen. Is there a tutorial for the handmade pins? I would love to try and make some. Have a wonderful and safe holiday.
Response: I used that fabric/piping to re-cover a wing chair, & thought it would make an elegant pincushion. I'm so happy you like it. :) As for the hand-made pins, there probably are numerous tutorials on the web, but I simply used beading pins, jewelry beads, & E6000 glue.
Comment: OH my goodness!!!!!!!! This is the greatest swap I have ever received. You truly made my Christmas and I thank you so much. I have never had a stocking with my name on it. I can't thank you enough.
Response: Vicky - I'm glad it arrived safely, and I'm very happy that you like everything. ♥ Have a very merry Christmas!
Comment: I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE by bottle! You did such an amazing job. The hanging trinkets from the twine set off the ruggedness of the wax covered bottle. The label looks as if it has been around for many years. Thank you so much for putting a wicked little smile on my face! Hugs, Mona
Response: I'm so happy you like it! :)
Thanks for the ♥ rating.
Comment: awesomeness at its best :)...yes i must say you have changed them up, love your 3D effect..you may have outdone yourself on this one!!...hoped you liked the lil house i sent you...i love the size, and i so forgot to send you some of those mini uno cards..(fail) i am pretty sure they were a thrift store find...happy swapping
Response: Very happy you're pleased with the house! :)
Comment: I hope you took a photo because it's amazing. I love the details. I've still got to look through it all. I am just stunned by how beautifully eerie this box is...from outside in.
I wish I could give you a billion hearts and then some. They still wouldn't show how much I love your work. Thank you for such a stunning piece.
Response: Yay! You like it! This was my very favorite "Altered" project so far... I only have a pic I took from my cell, so if you take photos, please post or email me copies. :)
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments & the rating. I'm very, very happy that you like it!
Comment: Wow!! What a crapload of really awesome tiny things! =) The three people are the smallest I've ever seen. I love the clay faces and all of the silver charms. Everything you sent is really fun and you were way generous too! THANK YOU!!!
Response: I'm very happy you liked everything - thanks for the rating! :)
Comment: AWESOME...of course :) what a very beautiful and very creative use of game pieces...and i love the color combo..thank you so much for yet another great add to my collection and the added bonus of tinker bell yayyyy..ps i was thinking our next adventure might be mini wooden houses?? thoughts??
Response: You are very welcome! :)
Mini houses would be fun - and take up less space on my shelf!
Comment: **HOLY CRAP!!!!** This was a fabulous bunch 'o crap. Erm - I mean, not CRAP crap, but great crap! You really hooked me up, Sistah! I love everything you sent. I have been using the heck outa the long, pointy bead caps you sent, recently eyeballed the peacock feather stack you sent paper from, looooved the feathers from the blue and gold macaw (do you have one? I used to have a yellow-naped Amazon and an umbrella cockatoo and various other small parrots). Did not have any black dominoes, and I could go on and on and on! Super-Duper, mega-licious crap! Everything was so right up my alley including the vintage needlebooks and the seed pods. I will definitely make something cool from the seed pods. TY, TY, TY!
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! (Whew!) I doubted each item I included... seriously! Lol!
The macaw feathers came from a friend's masochistic bird (Santana plucks himself); the seed pods I gathered myself, from the grounds at the Biltmore estate in Ashville NC.
Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Wow! I hit the swap jackpot with such beautiful jewelry! Your craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing. I love all of it, the necklace, bracelet and so many pairs of earrings, I certainly feel spoiled! Thank you such a thoughtful swap!
Response: I'm very glad you like everything! :) Thanks for the rating ♥
Comment: thanks you so much for yet another awesome lil house...i like the tribal feeling you gave it with the beads and the cute lil giraffe....thanks so much for continuing the series with me...many ♥♥♥'s
Response: You're welcome - I try to give each house a different "feel," especially since so many seem to go to the same recipient! :) Very glad you like it.
Comment: Wheee! More jewelry from one of THE BEST jewelry makers ever!!! Kim, this necklace is beautiful, its very intricate. It doesn't look like it in the package, but to me it has a vampire feel to it when wearing it! The packaging is GRADE A as well, thank you so very much!
Response: Yay - you liked it! I'm so glad! I worried about this one for some reason, lol! Think it's the iron oxide in the hematite that gives it the vampire feel..? ;)
Comment: Thank you SO much for the little wooden house you crafted for me. I love your use of paisley and the super-smooth finish you were able to achieve! Bonus love for the winged piggy you crafted fo me. I deem him "King Ralph", and he will forever fly in my office space! <3
Response: I'm glad you liked everything - and it sounds like King Ralph is gonna love his home with you! :)
Comment: ♥ Oh My! What a wonderful package I received from you today! The notecards are very nice and the coffees and cocoas will be delicious! Thank you for adding to my chopstick collection and for Angeling the Beads Charms and Pendants swap that I was flaked on! That was so thoughtful and you sent a generous amount of beautiful items that I love! ^♥^ Thank you for reading my profile and being a wonderful swap partner! ♥ Plus Owl on the envelope is adorable!
Response: I'm very happy you like everything - you're quite welcome! I've experienced the disappointment of flakers first-hand, so it was my pleasure to angel for you.
Comment: WOW! Thank you for the SEVERAL pairs of LOVELY hand made earrings! They are ALL so very pretty, and you made all 3 of us girls (my daughters and I) very happy:) wish I could give you many more hearts!
Comment: Hello Kimmberlie,
Thank you for the very nice quote you sent as part of Quotecard Postcard 56. I liked the front side of your postcard. Where did you get those? Thanks again for the nice quote.
Hope the New Year is treating you well.
Response: You're welcome.
I received several of that postcard from a swap with Swap-bot founder Rachel.
Thanks for the rating :)
Comment: as i carefully open my package :) Thank you for another wonderful lil house...i may have your village soon :) i loved the color combo you used and the technique, gives it a very "Cool" feeling...thanks again, and thx for the extras always appreciated
Response: LOL! No "curious" extras this time, but I'm very glad you liked everything. :)
Comment: Oh my goodness do I ever love this package Kimmberlie! You did a wonderful job on the embroidery work, I love the little blocks and am trying to figure out a way to show them off! The earrings are perfect and I plan to wear the pinks ones to church tomorrow and the blue snowflake ones to work on Monday....what a sweetheart you are. I was feeling down about swap-bot and some possible flakers I'm dealing with (well late senders anyway at this point), and some folks who haven't rated me for stuff I've sent, and then this package came and made me feel much better. Can't thank you enough!
Response: I'm glad you like everything, & thanks for the great (and prompt!) rating! I included the embroidery squares because I thought you'd like them, but I didn't make them - they were an Ebay purchase. I'm using similar ones to inset on pillowcases for my mom. :)
Comment: Terrific box! Love the pincushion in the lid and the packet of vintage needles. The doily will be framed in my soon-to-be-born grandaughter's all pick room. And thanks for the books and the kind words for my son - he is truly wonderful.
Response: I'm very happy that you like everything. Thanks for the rating! :)
Comment: thank you so much for the awesome house!! i love it you did a great job, and thanks so much for the extras and especially the surprise...i must say it made me jump, the i read your letter and laughed at myself...it is a great idea for the curiosities for sure..thanks again
Response: LOL! I'm very glad you liked everything. It's definitely the most unusual item I've ever included for a swap! :)
Comment: Best house EVER! Yours turned out so much better than mine. Funny how we basically had the same idea, the 3D thing. I gotta learn how to do that crackle paint thing. I gave you credit when I posted it to my Flickr. Hope you don't mind. Love it! Thanks so much for making it.
Response: You're very welcome! I'm so glad you like it.
This was my first attempt at crackle paint, and I was pleased with the results. I'll message you details so you can try it. :)
Comment: Thank you for the fabric flower pin. I have a shirt that will match perfectly and I plan to wear it tomorrow. I appreciate the wrapping too--it's fun to open swaps that are wrapped like gifts!
Response: I'm so glad you you like it - you're quite welcome!
Comment: Thank you for my tin man. He's very cute. I actually saw him on the main page yesterday. I didn't click on him to see him closer and good thing because then I would have known he was coming to me! He will be so happy to be with his friends, Dorothy, the Lion and scarecrow. He's waiting for the witches to get here! I think it's neat how you used an old belt. Thank you very much. I'd never heard the Tin Man song before. So I was in the car and I was thinking what song do I know about the tin man and the closest thing I could think of is in Love Shack at the end, she yells Tin Roof, Rusted. So now Love Shack will be stuck in my head for days.
Response: Don't you hate it when random songs get stuck in your head?! LOL! I'm very glad you like your tin man, and that he arrived safely. :)
Comment: Sorry it took me so long to rate, I've been away from the bot for a few months. I absolutely LOVE the inchies you sent me! And I am so jealous of your artistic abilities! It looks like you used oil paints to make those little flowers in the background, which I could never in a million years do. It reminds me of some of the stuff my grandma used to paint. Thank you so much and again, I'm sorry for the late rate.
Response: I'm very happy you liked them - and welcome back. :)
Comment: Hi Kimmberlie, I received your altered jar. It's lovely! Thank you for such wonderful work on the jar and on the packaging. I really appreciate it. Oh thank you also for the doily you sent as extra. I could use it in one of my mixed media projects! :)
Response: You very welcome, I'm glad you like it. :)
Comment: Oh my! Thank you so much! I love the tags, they are fabulous! And I have to say, as soon as my BF saw the Triffids book he giggled like a girl! I have only read it once but loved it! This will make an awesome addition to our vintage books collection. Thank you, thank you!
Response: You're quite welcome! I'm glad you like the tags - and I'm very happy to relinquish a beloved vintage book to someone who will treasure it. :)
Comment: The peacock charm is GORGEOUS, I love the colors, but I can't lie, I SQUEEEED when I opened the Johnny one! How beyond awesome of you!! I'll be adding a pinback to Johnny and wearing both of these proudly!! You rock, sister! <3
Response: I'm very pleased you like everything! How could I NOT send you something Johnny, when you you had the good taste to mention him so often in your profile?! ;)
i received your parcel today, i like this fairy as well i actually have earrings with the same fairy. anisha loves her necklace as well so much so she hasn't taken it off since opening the envelope. I love her card its beautiful.
Comment: Kimmberlie! Wowie! Thanks a TON for such a great swap package!! Its the best I've had in ages!! You make great jewelry, you should join my Jewelry Junkies group!! I absolutely love the necklace, its beautiful! Where in the world did you find that damn spider stamp? I've only seen it online!! Thanks also for the cigar box, its the first I've ever owned actually. Also, I just love my DOTD ATC and necklace, I love how they match!! Now I wish I would have sent you the large cemetery pendant! Thanks so much!
Response: Jenny, thanks for all the compliments - you're welcome! It was fun putting together the package for you. :)
I happened upon the spider stamp in the book aisle at Big Lots - I couldn't believe my luck!
If you find that you like the cigar box & want more... I get mine through cigarsinternational.com - they're only $1 - $2 each, and great for so many things.
Oh - the skull pendant is black shrink plastic. It started out about the same size as the ATC. :)
Comment: Thanks so much for my Twinchie/Inchie set - they arrived today in a body bag, but the good news is they were still in one piece! I can remember as a child fighting over breakfast cereal to try and find the surprise toy inside, your Twinchie took me back!!
Response: Oh my goodness - a body bag?! I'm glad they arrived in one piece in spite of the USPS' best efforts to the contrary!!!
Comment: I wish I could give multiple hearts! These are more beautiful than I could have thought! I love love love love them! I enjoy the mix of old and new styles of AIW, I'm framing the whole thing and putting it on my wall.
Response: Yay! I'm very happy that you like them! Thank you for the compliments - these were SO much fun to make! I mixed the older AiW with the newer because I just canNOT decide which is my favorite...
Comment: Whoot whoot! My stunning art work arrived and it is just FAB! I want to make 3 diff't art pieces from all that inspiration! Wahooo! Can you see all those extra hearts floating around? The framed quilt was genious! We should definitely do a prv't this summer, I'll mark your name down forsure!
Response: Yay! I'm so relieved it finally got there, and that you like it so well! :) This was the hardest creation to set free, lol! (Have you taken out the paper doll/ clothes yet? And did I say the necklace is removable & wearable?)
Comment: A hundred hearts to you! Lately I have been kind of questioning continuing to trade dotees as most of them come to me flat with minimum of effort. Yours is so different! I tend to make mine a bit on the pleasantly plum side so your sweet dearie fits right in! Did you make the glasses or buy them> THey are great. i have worn glasses all my life and your dotee is a first to have them. I love it all Now forgive me if i am wrong since I have been on a lot of medication since i got a new knee last month but I also think you sent me some other precious goodies including some beads made by your husband. If you are the one with the DH go give him a hug for me. they are going ona charm necklace i have ( i tend to get a bit wild with bracelets) and I plan to put them on with clasps so that I can also take them off and wear them as single focus necklaces. Swap with me any day You are a top swapper. Thanks so much
Response: I'm very pleased you like the dotee - and her glasses are hand-made by me. :) Just seemed fitting that she should have specs, lol.
I'm not the swapper who sent charms, however...
Good luck in your recovery from knee replacement!
Comment: OH my goodness, I am in love with the inchies you made. I can say I LOVE them but I think that still doesn't describe how cute I think they are. Thank you so much. OK our secret, they are the cutest I have ever seen!
Response: You're welcome! And thank you for the wonderful compliment! :)
Comment: These bookmarks are BEAUTIFUL!!! They are so elegant that I fear to use them. I now want to try crafting with beads. Can you recommend a good book or site? Many hearts to you (if I could).
Response: I'm very glad you like them, and please - DO use them! :)
I haven't read any books on beading, I just sort of wing it. Michaels craft store (where I buy my ribbons!) often has free instructional pamphlets hanging in their bead section, so that might be a good place to begin. I obtain most of my beads and findings through Ebay - I highly recommend that as the most inexpensive way to build your supply stash! Good luck! ♥
Comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh my God! I absolutely love the outstanding ATC you made me - it is just my style! An upcycled woodoo doll! What more could a girl ask for? Sure wish I could rate you a lot more than 5. I put your masterpiece on display in my craft room - I love it! Thank you also for the fabulous necklace; I wear it and treasure it. Thank you so much for making my day.
Response: Your very welcome! I'm so glad you like it - it's one of my favorite things I've made for a swap.
Comment: Hello Kimmberlie, thank you for the unusual ribbon bookmark with metal butterfly and flower - I love it. Thanks too for the extra one, and I loved the pen and ink drawing of a bunny on the envelope.
Response: You're very welcome - I'm happy you like them!
Comment: What a wonderful art doll!! Thank-you so much. I really do love her! The pendant is really cool as well - I've got it on right now:) Hope the doll you received is as special as what you sent to me. Happy swapping!
Response: She was so much fun to make. When I read that you like things that "contain," I knew I had to incorporate that aspect into your doll. I'm very glad indeed that you like her!
Comment: Looks pretty in Mobile Al. I was recently in Birmingham on a Sunday. I was amazed that the city truely shut down on Sun. I think we counted twelve people out and about. Thank you for the card.
Response: As we are in the heart of the bible belt, most Alabama cities do "roll up the sidewalks" on Sunday mornings! Lol! I am glad you liked your PC.
Comment: Well holy cow!!! What a package!!! Thank you so much! You have really spoiled me! My daughter claimed the paper right away and says you should automatically get a heart for the origami! And the jewelry stuff..what can I even say so many fun things that will be a wonderful compliment to things i have. And that bag of charms I LOVE CHARMS!!!! There are so many there that i have never seen before and i have lots of charms. And so many cool things to compliment charms and beads to make really nice jewelry. I have a bunch of swaps i need to craft jewelry for! I am so very excited to start working with everything!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!! Hugs and hearts!!!!! Pat
Response: Pat, I'm very glad you liked your package! I hoped your daughter would like the Hello Kitty charm, but I'm happy she liked the origami paper, as well! :)
I have so much stuff for crafting jewelry, it's a pleasure to share with someone who'll make good use of it!
Comment: Kimmberlie ~ you are so very TALENTED! I love them all! The earrings are absolutely lovely! Love the color in the bracelet and can't get over the key-chain, it is awesome! Thank you so very much!! You are awesome........Kelly :)
Response: I'm so glad the package arrived safely, & that you like everything! Jewelry is such a fun hobby, I'm always happy to share with people who appreciate it!
ps - I've sent a "found heart" to your email address. :)
Comment: Thanks for the great sun tea post card. I had heard of sun tea before, but never knew how to make it for sure. Now I do, and I will certainly try it. When it's warm enough that it won't freeze. hehehe!
Have a great day.
Response: I'm very glad you received & liked the postcard. Hopefully the weather will warm up for you soon! :)
