I giggled with glee when I opened the box up today! I cant believe how absolutely AMAZING he came out!!!!! I feel like I didnt send you enough goodies to compensate for the bundle of awesome! It's going to be hard giving this little guy away, but maybe my daughter will share with me!? lol. Thank you so much for an amazing swap! It's something this family will cherish for years to come! I know they will be just as tickled as I was when they see the hat you made!!!!
Response: I am so glad that you like him! I had a hard time sending him to you! I am very proud of how he came out and really love that you love him!
Comment: thank you for the lovely variety! & bomb girls(!) only has 2 seasons now.. it got cancelled after the second season :( they're currently in production of a made-for-TV movie which will be out maybe by the summer? it's to help wrap up the loose ends from no return seasons. it's still worth the watch though!
Response: Wow, I can't wait for that to come out. I will have to get on top of making sure that I see both seasons before it comes out!
Comment: love the card! thank you!! ps: i still love disney movies! i gave away my vhs tapes a long time ago, but i have them all on dvd. my favorites still are lion king, fox and the hound and toy story films! what are yours?
Response: Glad that you liked it! I am happy that I didn't pick one of my many Maine themed ones to send!
Comment: I am surprised that more people didn't join, but maybe they will in the future. I am really pleased with the recipe you sent. Our family likes to do crockpot recipes and often have pork roasts. Good choice! I am also happy to get the recipe card. Thanks so much!
Response: I am so glad that you like the recipe! Hope to swap recipes with you again soon! :)
Comment: Juli... Thanks for hosting this fun swap!! Both of these recipes look good. I need to use my crock pot more...thanks for the extra tips and suggestions. Like that you reused a greeting card (I like to make PC's out of them:). Looking forward to your next idea for hosting a swap in the EOTPF group!!...PS cute handmade envie and love the dinosaur stamp! ...Charlene
Response: I am glad that you liked the recipes that I sent! I wish that more people had signed up for the swap, I love swapping recipes! Maybe I will try again in the fall, when people are less busy and have more time to cook!
Comment: Hi Juli -- I just now got the swap from you -- ILLINOIS? I have never been there either -- funny, it's not on our list of places to see. The best part about it is that the state bird is the cardinal, my favourite bird! Thanks for sending xx
Comment: Wow - another FUN load of envies!!! Thank you so much for the "above and beyond" swap! I am spoiled once again - I especially love the map envies as I don't have any papers like that. The mailing labels are DARLING, too!!! ♥♥♥
Response: So glad that you liked them! The maps are ones from National Geographic Mags. I found them at a local Goodwill store.
Comment: Juli thank you for the large envelope full of pens & extras! You are so kind to introduce me to the Ink Joy edged pens. They are easier for me to use than the clicker Ink Joy pens. Incredible extras you enclosed for me to use for ATC's, mail art, collages, etc. Thank you again!
Response: I am so glad that you liked all of it! I LOVE the triangle shaped pens, they just feel better in my hand!
Comment: Thank you for the note and the postalette. You used some older stamps on yours too. They're nice. Somehow it made it to me with only .43 cents in stamps. Don't know if something fell off or what. (no postage due though)
Response: a 3 cent stamp must have fallen off, I had my po double count the postage for me when I sent it!
Comment: Our computer was hit by lighting and we just got a new one today. Can't wait to try it. Thank you so much for your patient. The lightning sounded like it so loud and the house just shook. Felt like what I would think a earthquake would be l8ke. Knittere43
Response: I really hope that everything else in your house, and the house itself was ok! That must have been very scary!
Comment: Thank you. They were worn all the time in the 40's, they made a bit of a revival in the 90s but not to the same degree. Very pretty, very functional, I don't know why they ever went out of style. I wear them all the time.
Comment: Thanks for not running away screaming when you saw what a hodge-podge my shop is! I really appreciate it :) I am really trying to make it better and all of the positivity helps a lot! Hope you have a great week!
Comment: In the early 1900s, the community acquired its name when large citrus groves were planted, and lemon and orange growing and shipping became the area's major industry. No trees or lemon pies now...lol
Response: No trees?! That's a wicked bummer! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Thank you very much for all the stationary you sent me! I look forward to using them during my swaps and when I write my best friend who's moving away at the end of the month. I noticed you gave me more than was required, so an extra special thanks for that as well (and a <3). :D
Ocarina of Time was my very first Zelda game as well. In fact I have a tradition of replaying it every Thanksgiving weekend while I cook the dinner and deserts. My current favorite is Skyward Sword, though Ocarina of Time will always hold a special place in my heart.
Response: I am so glad that you liked the letter set that I sent! Thank you so much for the heart as well!
Comment: Thank you. I love this shack postcard. There are a few out in the country here. Actually there might be one or two getting close to that state in town :). Sorry this is so late. I found this and a couple others under a stack of papers :(
Comment: <3 Oh thank yoh. the dip is something I've been looking for! my mom made it and when she passed i couldn't find her recipe. and my sister never sent it to me. never new what it was called. thank you thank you thank you.
Response: :) So glad that I sent you something you were looking for!
Comment: I am totally shocked that card got through the postal system. LOL. And get this - it's oversized, so it should have had more postage, and it's not even postmarked! :) Thanks for making me smile!
Response: :) I am glad that it made its way to you!
Comment: Hello Juli,
Thank you for your recipe for Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It sounds very good and is a recipe that I would like to try. I will add this recipe proudly to my Alphabet Recipe Book.
Response: I am glad that you like the recipe. It is my favorite one for chicken!
Comment: Hey! I've actually been there! Granted, I was a young kid so all I remember is that in order to see the American side of the Falls, you have to be in Canada. And to see the Canadian side of the Falls...you have to be in Canada. Seriously, the American side is such a let down
Response: That is a let down! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Fabuloso! I love it! I looked up Love St. in Philly to see if I could find exactly where the photo was taken but things have changed. Awesome PC! Thanks for the nice postage also!! = ) ♥♥♥
Response: Am so glad that you like the pc! I really liked it too and went back tot he store to buy another, but they were sold out! :)
Comment: Thank you for the day! Your hike sure looks slippery - when you wrote you came down a steep slope, I was sure you did so heads-over-legs rolling if not slidding! Abd then you say the others didn't even fall.
Comment: Thank you Juli! Your hike was wonderful! Recently hubby and I along with another couple went snow shoeing on one of our local mountains, it's invigorating!! Good for you pushing thru and making it to the top!!!
Comment: What an adorable card and what great stamps! Thank you! Just the other day I was admiring the Grandma Moses stamps at one of the vintage stamp sellers. So awesome to get it in the mail. :) We are finally mostly clear of snow (except for the huge snow banks) because we had 3 days in a row in the 40s.
Response: Oh I am glad that you liked the stamp! I tried to put a good variety of stamps on the envie!
Comment: Thanks so much for the expandable towels. My youngest son thought they were or him..lol I had just bought some of these in the camping aisle to put in our supplies, Trevor said mom these are so much better than the other ones. So a couple of them will be put in our camping gear, he took one and I got to keep one out. Thanks so much.
Response: I am so glad that they were useful for you!
Comment: thanks for the bear postcard, enjoyed it. I saw one once, headed in the direction of my house. Called dh and told him, he said...what do u want me to do about it? I said..start packing if u get home first...
Comment: I love Sheldon too! I have a crush on Jim Parsons lol, thank you I love the moose he is so cute!! Somehow it managed to get all the way here with no cancellation mark so the stamp is still perfect xxx
Comment: I love the ones you picked, I never seen some of these patterns. I repined a few bc some are real nice simple ones that my daughter (8) can easily do and learn. She is really excited to be trying out Zentangles. TYVM for helping me find good ones for her! :D Hugs!
Response: I am glad that they will help you and your daughter!
Comment: Hi Juli -- I love the postage stamps you used :-) It's fun to reach out and chat with folks you don't know. I like the Moulin Rouge card as well as the PC of Maine -- so starkly beautiful! Reminds me of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Thanks for a great swap :-)
Comment: Love the owl card...I'll probably repurpose it in a craft!
And thank you for the Maine PC...one more towards my collection of state map cards.
We are definitely 'Trekkies' in our house. We did have a Worf kitty but he died of cancer several years ago. Aren't Maine Coons adorable fur-babies? My Data is really a 'gentle giant.' (=^.^=)
Response: I am glad that you liked the card enough to reuse it! I always reuse my favorite cards, mostly as pcs.
Comment: Great postcards! Thank you! My cousin has a cabin in Maine...I went up there before and there was a moose directly outside one of the windows. I was a kid and it freaked me right out. HAHA brought back good memories. Thanks again! :)
Response: I am very glad that you liked the cards, and that they made you smile!
Comment: Aaaw - Thanks for the ASL stamps! I took sign once about 30 years ago. I remember tiny bits of it. While it stinks to be dark at lunchtime, it is nice to be light again in the morning. Hope you're adjusting to the time change!
Response: I am glad that you liked the stamps. I took an ASL class last year, but am still learning!
Comment: Thanks for the nice flower card, the cute owl pin (love it), the recipe and tea bag. Deco/washi tape always is a quick, fun way to decorate envies - great job! Thanks for making it a fun mail day!!
Comment: Thanks for the great recipes (Yes, I think turkey bacon will work just fine!) and the lovely note. We do seem to have a lot in common. :) The kids will LOVE the stickers, but I'm saving them as bribes LOL. Thanks again!!
Response: I am glad that the recipe will work for you!
Comment: WOW!!!! To say you went above and beyond is an understatement. Was a lovely surprise. Love the brochures and the pc's are beautiful and thank you for including a Maine mapcard and helping us complete our collection. Oh and the cute little pin. I will add it to my tote. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a partner. Thanks again for a great envie. :o)
