Comment: All the beautiful South Africa stamps from your country were such a treat to see on the envie and the extras that you enclosed. I enjoyed reading about the postal stones. Lucky me says THANK YOU. International Partner
Comment: Wanda, it finally arrived! And it is absolutely beautiful. I'm so sorry it took so long (the envelope looked as though it had gone through the wringer), but from my perspective, this was well worth the wait. Thank you for such beautiful poetry. xoxo
Thanks for the lovely stamps. Its funny that you send stamps from my in country to me. The lovely thing is that i didnt had the stamps. So they are new for my collection of my on country.
Comment: That took an unexpected turn! It's so interesting what others make of a postcard picture... I really like the suspense, and the feeling of menace you convey through your writing. It makes you want to know everything!
Comment: Wow some people’s talents and imagination just amazes me beyond words. This is so much fun what a great idea and considering and I absolutely love it. Thank you for the time and effort that you put into this card, you’ve absolutely made my day. 😃â¤ï¸ðŸ§¡ðŸ’›ðŸ’šðŸ’™ðŸ’œ
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing the stamps and stories. The building looks amazing and reminds my of the post office in Durban! This letter took such a long time to arrive - it was more than worth to wait for it. Oh what a wonderful surprise! :)
Response: I am so sorry that you've had to wait so long, but good to hear you like it :)
Comment: Thank you so much for your slightly tongue in cheek, spot on letter about why it can be so hard to write. I have often felt that you would have to be independently wealthy or have an understanding family or be incredibly selfish. I find it hard to write as well because my life intrudes in very real ways. Perhaps once I retire....
Comment: The picture of the zebra breaks my heart. Well written account full of pathos. I am glad elephants are no longer used in American circuses. Sad how such wonderful animals are abused.Your question is accurate. What is wrong with people? May I ask if you are a native South African?
Comment: Thank you for your very interesting story and reference to a song I did not know. I looked it up--Borderline. Reference to both WW1 and WW2--well done, fast and full of heart. Thanks for pc and German stamps.
Comment: I love how you used the cubes so subtle in this story! I looked them up afterwards, because during reading I couldn't figure out what was on a cube and what not. The story is very....I can't find the right word, a bit mystical? Fable like? It's like a dream with a warning, or an explanation. Sometimes not explaining everything works very well, I got to to try this myself!
Comment: I'm so sorry for rating you this late! I thought your story was really exciting, very mysterious, like the beginning of a larger story or even a novel! There is a sense of immediacy from the first sentence on, which makes you want to keep on reading. I was especially intrigued by the "suits" the pursuers were wearing, hindering their movements...who or what is this woman and who is after her? So many ideas!
Comment: Thank you for your story and for the pretty post cards. I understand what you are saying. I appreciate the message regarding Kafka. i thought the newspaper drawing was supposed to be mailed. Toss mine.
Comment: I love your way of display of stamps and words used to complete the assignment. Thanks so much for added stamps and vintage post cards. Vintage much better than new cards. Thanks ever so much.
Comment: I love this piece of writing! It's very powerful and it makes you think. It's strange indeed how you can sort of "change views" in the blink of an eye...what was right is now wrong. The ending is sad, but strong. True writing stays with the reader in the mind, as this does!
Comment: Thank you for this beautiful and intimate poem! I love how the face sort of becomes a map to the mind behind it...absolutely beautiful! Thank you for hosting this swap, it taught me new things <3
Comment: ♥ I love the paper you lined the envelopes with. I found it interesting you put Malaysian postage on them. I still have room for whatever stamps I have to use. Thanks for the great greeting cards.
Response: You'd be surprised to see how many Malaysian butterflies there are! Pleased you like it (thank you for the heart)
Comment: Wow! Ours couldn't have been more different! That's what's so fun about swaps like this :) Thank you for hosting, and giving me a reason to read some Shakespeare again! 😉 Oh, and thank you for including the little knitting pattern :)
Comment: I had such a hard time with these cubes...I love the way you used the prompts in this story! Very naturally, they flowed into each other while telling an interesting and also a little bit sad story.
Comment: Thank you for your wonderful letter, the stamps that helped you tell me about your life and where you live, the little envelope of lovely profile stamps, and the profile stamps on the envelope you sent me. Also thank you for hosting this unique swap! I hope you are not disappointed when you receive my envelope; my letter is typed (I don't enjoy handwriting for much more than a page or two) and my explanations of why I like what I do are very brief and superficial compared to yours. Maybe I can tell you more in a PM. Thanks again for such a personal and interesting swap, with extra goodies on top!
Response: I'm so pleased you enjoyed the swap ... and for the PM too! :)
Comment: Thank you very much for all the little things you sent, I really liked them, especially the stamps and the tea ... and the envelope stamps are wonderful ... it was a long trip, but it was worth the wait ...
Greetings from Chile
Comment: Thank you Wanda for your stamp bag en taking my stamp preferences in consideration. Your stamp bag wasnt prepare as it supposed to be. I Will send your stamp bag to another person, and after it has passed 4 other persons it Will be sent home to you. I have put your address in the bag, so the person will know it is your stamp bag.
Comment: I always love your stories because they're so very lifelike and very different from what I come up with it. Very interesting and inspirational to read! This was a sad story, but the imagery is beautiful.
Comment: Hello again! :) Belated thank you for this iconic Peter Rabbit card -- Mrs. Rabbit's warning is indelibly marked in my subconscious from childhood, as it was a reminder not to do anything untoward -- I love how Peter already looks resolute to venture into that forbidden garden! Thank you also for the beautiful postage; I hope to visit your beautiful country one day ♥
Comment: Thank you so much for wonderful pack of stamps. Such a great selection, and so many extras. The gemstone ones are my favorite, I cant wait to use them in my future projects. Than you for the great swap!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely PC! What I loved most about Fiddler on the Roof was the music and Tevia's talks with God. We have watched it so many times I can almost recite all the words. There's about 10 movies we have watched over and over like that.
Comment: Hi Wanda, thank you so much for the bicycle & cats themed postcards! Unexpectedly, my favourite one is the "And a book-wise cat recounted his tales to me.." meow. :) Also, thank you for adding on to my Air Mail stickers collection.
Response: Great to hear all arrived in order!
Thanks for the heart :)
Comment: What an exciting story! I would have never come up with something like this, but that's the fun part about swaps like these...seeing someone's imagination work! I like how you played with time, making me very curious!
Comment: Still laughing at your card, Wanda. Love the idea of vervet monkeys licking my feet in the kitchen... too funny! Wishing you all the best in 2017 - and I'd be happy to see you in the mail again!
Comment: â¤ï¸ðŸ’œðŸ’™ðŸ’šðŸ’› 5 hearts for the BEAUTIFUL Butterflies on our profiles!!! Thank you for joining the BL~ Butterfly profile deco ლ Oct. swap! 🌸Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ🌸
Hope you enjoyed it too! Blessings, cc
Comment: I'm so sorry I haven't rated you for this yet. Love the used postcards! Funny story: Just found this stack of Postcrossing postcards under a pile of stuff. Thought OMG I haven't registered these and sat down to do so. I tried the first one and no go then saw there was a date of 2015 and thought no wonder why! Also thought, wow that postcard took a long time to get here! I tried the next one, no go. Finally on the third one I noticed it wasn't addressed to me! Oi what an idiot I am sometimes! 😊
Response: :D isn't it funny the things we do when we panic??!
Comment: Lovely PC...fascinating poem...terrific stamps, Wanda. Your words made me want to know the rest of the story..."The baggage still between you." Keep writing! Cheers for sharing the thoughts of your muse with me... ⤠jinanne

Comment: Thanks for the fab postcard and all the info. I've always dreamed of travelling the Sani Pass. Too old now I think,, but I've put your card on my refridgerator to remind me of how wonderful the world is.
Comment: Beautiful, beuatiful FDCs and totally in my wheelhouse of what I collect! And thank you so much for the stamps! I want to see if I can 'hook' my husband into collecting and he is a wolf lover, so these are the first for him. Thank you so very much!
Response: Pleasure! There are some amazing Noyta cccp/Russian stamps displaying wolves - maybe next time :)
Comment: My daughter liked that the postcard was adressed to her! She knows a labrador retriever. And yes, they are sweet dogs! "But Mam, she's too big & too strong for me." But the postcard... is in her room :-)
Comment: Ooh, I love what you did for this one! The shades put a huge grin on my face. And the back is super pretty too, I was confused at first if I was looking at the back or the front when I pulled it out of my letterbox! Have a lovely day :)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Vienna postcard and colorful postage, Wanda! (That city is near the top of my to-visit list :) I have not yet read Ms. La Plante but am a fan of Prime Suspect and Dame Mirren :) Anne Sexton is another author I want to read -- clever palindrome! Hope you are having a good day!
