Comment: Thank you for the North Carolina postcard! The Outer Banks are one of my favorite places to visit! Sorry it took so long to rate you. I was going through my sent folder and realized I missed rating you.
Comment: Sorry, I am out of town for the Holidays and am unable to check my mailbox... But am operating under the assumption that everyone has sent me something I loved! More personal thank you can be expected when I get home. Cheers!
Comment: Cynde...the Henry Hunter House postcard was great!! I loved the fact that it was purchased at a flea market and a little history on top of that! Thank you very much for reading my profile and caring!
Comment: Love the bookmarks - I can never have too many. I was especially excited to see Thor in there (my ancestral kinsman). And oh boy, if I keep seeing those hot covers for The Lords of Satyr books, I may just have to read them! :) P.S. I love the black and paisley envelope too . Thank you!
Response: Thought you might Thor.If you e-mail the author of Lords of Satyr she's sends nice stuff.Just ask her if she has any goodies for her readers.
Comment: I'm heading south next week and looking forward to it - we have several inches of fresh snow on the ground today, our first of the season. Thanks for the map card. Dogwood does not grow in MN and I miss it in the spring.
Comment: I agree, not the best card, but perfect for the swap requirements. It reminds me it could be worse as I look out and see the 28F bank sign across the way from my office. Give me cold weather over hot any day! Cheers
Comment: Thanks so much - your postcard was great and I really appreciated it! Sorry for the late feedback; I'm still finding my way around the site a bit (silliness on my part.) Anyway, thanks again - much obliged!
Comment: Sorry this rating is coming so late. I didn't have internet everyday this summer so I had a hard time rating regularly. Didn't want you to go unrated though, even if it's late..I did want to let you know that I loved your card and I thank you very much for being a good swap partner. Hope all is well and that you have a great Thanksgiving!
Comment: Even though it was sent late, I'm still giving it a 5 and a heart because you made the effort to look at my profile and send a state map postcard. Even better part is I didn't have the one you sent me yet. Thank you so much. Sorry for the loss of your beloved Duke. May he RIP.
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard. Honeysuckle is common in Delaware where I grew up. As kids we'd suck the nectar from the flowers. The flowers on the postcard are lilies. | Edited 10/16: Thanks for the resend with the sun rising over *H*olden Beach :-) The image is gorgeous.
Response: Sorry I wasn't sure if was a honeysuckle or iris. We've all sorts of wildflowers and many are protected especially along the roadway.I'll re-send the H okay?
Comment: Hi Cynde:
Thank you for the shrimp card. I'd be going crazy with the power of suggestion if I hadn't been to Red Lobster just last weekend...but now that I think about...I could go for shrimp again. I suppose to cut costs, you'd have to catch your own...but it's a wet job. All the best. Julie
Comment: You have NO IDEA how fitting this postcard is for my life right now. Oh my goodness did I laugh when I saw this PC. Thank you for the laugh. I'm putting this PC on my mirror so I can chuckle at it everyday when my household blows up. =D

Comment: The scenery card is beautiful! Aren't we lucky to be able to see and enjoy such beauty? To a SC swapper from a NC swapper. I just noticed you got me in the state flag pc as well, WOW That was something! You deserve a heart.
Comment: Hello Cynde- Thanks so much for the great map of South Carolina. It is a nice addition to my map card collection. I have never been to your state, but I am planning to go next spring. My nephew is stationed in Charleston, and I want to go visit him. I hope you are having nice spring weather there. Best wishes, Debbie
Comment: Thank you for the awesome map postcard! I like it when i can learn facts from PC's. i hope it warms up for you! we had some awesome spring weather up here for the past week, but never fails it ends up raining and spoiling the good weather.
Comment: I LOVE this card. Ansel Adams is always a favorite and I have tried repeatedly, without success, to snap a similar picture to this on snowy Minnesota days. He was a master at printing as much as making the exposure. I love the subtle dodge/burn effects he achieves. Cheers!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcards. It was a fun swap. Good to swap with you again ,
Sorry to be so late in rating. I had to buy a new computer. Then I had to wait for the internet provider to connect me. Then my family had to help me with some things. Your swap partner,Linda
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard, I love it!!! :) I'd love to see an alligator just roaming around on the street! I say that until it happens...I might feel differently if I saw an alligator just roaming around the streets of New Hampshire hahaha :)
Comment: That's so weird the you used to live here! Not that it's out of the ordinary to know everyone on the mountain, but I do know some people who live over on Sylvan. :) And I really love the bird cut-out on the postcard. :3
Response: Yes it is a small world.I remember a Giglevitch but can't remember the first name.Only met him a couple of times and he was older.

Comment: Oh how I envy you living that close to the ocean...I love the smell and the sounds and the life of it! Thanks for such a pretty card to "take me away" from the snow and cold of winter. Happy February! Happy Swapping! jen
Comment: Thank you for the tea & the letter. & don't complain about the heat where you are haha. its -40 here! We really only have 2 seasons...winter (november-april) and construction (may-october). The bugs here in the summer are awful, especially the black flies but the lake completely makes up for the bugs.
Comment: Thank you for your postcard. Who would really send a card like this to a friend? Ok, I have to admit I would, but just because I'm not a big fan of valentine's day and I could represent this hereby. Well done, this IS tacky/lame/kitschy and I "liked" it (:-D) very much.
Comment: I loved this postcard if you want a lighthouse postcard from me just for fun please send me a message! I live in Michigan, the state with the most light houses, and I'd love to share my easy access to light house postcards with you!
Comment: Wow, what a stunning postcard! I absoloutely adore it - it's going right up on my pin-board! =D Thank you, yes, Melbourne was not affected by any flooding so we are all safe here, thankfully. Queenslanders were the unfortunate victims of the flooding. Margs x
Comment: Keeping our creativity going and especially reading a person's profile and trying to make something that they will enjoy is always more than OK. Thanks
Can you remember what kind of trees they were?
Response: Sorry I can't remember but I think it was in the rainforest.
Comment: Just a dusting of snow left!Supposed to be gone by the 22nd!Can't say I'm sorry to see it go! Northern Indiana got the lake effect but that's 4 hours away! No lakes here!! Thanks for joining the swap!!
Comment: Hmmm - a lovely pie recipe just before the festive feasting :) This will come in very handy. Thank you! And I'm sure my chocaholic family thanks you too - hahaha. Happy Xmas to you and your loved ones :)

Comment: I LOVE this PC!!! The surf during a storm is so awesome and powerful that it just does something to the soul. . . and the fact that the PC has a cut-out which I just started collecting makes it extra-special! Thanks so much for the great PC ~~
Response: I always liked this postcard, there's just something about it..
Comment: I super love the PC you sent me. How cool, I love gemstones! And I've been to one of those places in Western NC you're talking about where you mine for gems and get to keep them. It's a lot of fun. Thanks!
Comment: I am very pleased to receive this recipe card. I have heard of Tar Heel Pie and I am looking forward to sharing the recipe with my family. Hearts to you and Thankyou very much. Such a pretty table setting, too.
Comment: You know, I darn near rated you a 1 for all that jazz about K-State. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK! GO KU! Ok, just kidding. I love the Blackbeard PC. the boys love it just as much. I like how the skull and crossbones is cut out too. Thanks so much!
Comment: Ohhh, Manson... I've seen the documentaries, but haven't read the book. I can handle fictional crazy, but that much real crazy, I wonder if I could handle going into his and his followers' head. ::shudder:: Thanks for sharing your scary book with me, and for putting it on a cool gator PC! (You think of Florida and GA as having the gators and forget they get further up north.)
Comment: Your postcard arrived today. It is beautiful. We have friends in Raleigh and our oldest grandson went to college in NC so we have been there a number of times and enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the memories! Geneva/gram
