Comment: Such a wonderful piece of mail art, I love it! It made the journey from Australia to Las Vegas in pristine shape. You are very talented! Thank you for the great piece of mail art and all the stickers too! (((hugs)))
Response: I'm so glad it made it in one piece!! I think encasing it in plastic kind of defeats the purpose lol
i picked up my jar today....and i must say Wow! u did a great job on the jar and the contents i haven't yet got all the way through it..cause i keep getting lost in thought to what i am going to use each piece for....Yippee. On a different matter i grew up in Adelaide as well, and you are the first person i have encountered on swapbot from there so its a double Yippee! hope to catch you around again.
Response: I'm so glad it got there in one piece!! I went a bit overboard on the bubble, wrap, but better safe than sorry lol. I have only been in Adelaide a few years, but it's so nice
Comment: Wow Marie thank you so much for the awesome pick ten!!! Or more than ten in this case. I really like and will use all of it. I love receiving things from Australia as it is different from what we can get here. And Australian chocolate is soooo good!!! Hugs and Hearts!!!
Response: Just realised I misread, I thought it was 10 from each list lol. Glad you like them
Comment: Woah your swap was amazing you deserve a million hearts!! I loved the envelope too with the claw and Elm Street sign and the ATC was freakin awesome so cool. Thank you very much dude!! :D Freddy for life!!! mwhaha >:] xoxoxoxo
Response: I so fell in love with them, they came in a box of 20 - I bought them when I was doing a heap of Christmas shopping, Only when I got home did I realise how much they cost!!!! Couldn't take them back though, cos they were so lovely :-). So glad you like it

This is a beautiful ATC, the reds were so rich, and I love the "LOVE" stamp. Also great use of glitter, not to much, just enough. :) ♥♥
Response: I really liked how it turned out, so glad you liked it!!
Comment: WOW! I didn't expect to receive such a fancy, dancy button charm. Over the top and fabulous. You did a great job and you should make more and sell them. I loved the color scheme and the heart at the end. Thank you!
Comment: I absolutely loved my package!! The handmade item was gorgeous. I've never seen that before. I'll be putting in somewhere I can see everyday. Thank you so much!! Well worth the wait. Take care.
Comment: Hi Marie, I recieved your stickers today and thank you so so much..... please put your name of swap, and username on the outside of the envie..or on a note inside..... as I had a difficult time to find where this swap was...I had to guess...which swap I had... I do about 10 swaps a weeks...so many are still awaiting from the senders...so it takes quite a bit of time...to search you out....
Thank you so so much...It just makes rating you easier...and some may not bother to try to find you..... Thank you again, they are great...
Response: I think I had a touch of brain fade, as I meant to. I had a few swaps go out at the same time and I must have got carried away sealing envies lol. I always include a note as it's more personal. I was going toay I was thinking of your goldfish when chose those stickers :-) Thank you for making the effort to wortk out they were from me :-)
Comment: Wow your package of little things for ATC's was amazing. There was just so much and so many nice things. If I could give you more hearts I could. My three year old son was asking me if he could have one of this and this and this for his craft box so he would give you a heart too. I especially liked the little metal embellishments. Thank-you so much for this thoughtful package.
Response: It was so much fun, I'm glad you liked it!!!!!
Comment: Thank you most kindly for the photo's from down under. All of them were wonderful, but I was especially fond of the ones you caught of animals and plants that are completely foreign to me.
Response: Sorry it would have been nice to have heard from you before the rating. It was sent and as you know I have limited access to the computer as we are building a house in rural Sth Australia. I will be able to resend but not until after Christmas when the house is built and I can unpack the containers with all our belongings including the computer!!
Comment: Wow totally worth the time it took to get to me. I have had some of all the fruity mentos now and shared some of the other candy with friends at work. Looking forward to trying the other candy too!
Comment: Thankyou, Marie for the lovely cupcake goodies, I love the parcel, the material is nice, and I love the buttons and the cards are so nice. If i could give you more hearts I would, have a nice day, thanks love jennifer.
Comment: Thanks for the ATC and cd! I havent listened to the song yet, but im excited to! the red-back spider sounds a lot like the black widow we have here in georgia (it also has a red hourglass shape on its back!)
Comment: Well...I absolutely ADORE my kitty cat bookmark!!! I am so envious of people who do such beautiful needlework. MANY MANY thanks for the bookmark (and who knows who got me the embossing set?)....hope we swap again in the future!
Response: I'm so glad he arrived safe and sound :-)
Comment: How fabulous and SOOO quick, thanks very much, Kayne loved it all!! And he loved opening all the little presents, he was soo excited when I told him the parcel was for him.
Great swap thanks so much!!
*updated oh no lol so he woulda seen our horrible front yard LOL, we started with our backyard first but now the front looks terrible hehe, but how great so it wouldn't have cost much or anything!!
Response: We're so glad he loved it!! Hubbys is a courier so we sent it via work instead of Aussie Post lol
Updated... lol no he only took it from here to the depot, then the driver that does your area would have gone there lol.
Comment: Oh, I am so sorry that I'm late rating for this swap. My sib passed in Feb and life has been crazy to say the least.
But., I was so in love w/ my swap stuff. The ribbon is calling out for a jean bag for the summer and the bottons need a few knitted baby blankets. Thank you so.
Response: Sorry to hear that :-( I'm glad you liked your swap though, would love to see the jean bag when it's done :-)
Comment: My son was so happy that there was an envelope for him. HE really enjoyed opening his mail and finding this cute pen and the loverly stickers.
We also couldn't get the light thing.
But he enjoys the pen. thanks
Response: We are so happy he like it! Get him to hit the head of the pen on a table, that should get it to light up :-)
Comment: Please Thank you daughter for the card and letter. She is very creative. My Granddaughter is only 4 years old but she loved having me read her the letter. I then got online and showed her all the animals your daughter talked about. How cool to see all those animals right there in your yard. I use to live in Alaska and we would have Moose come into our yard.
Response: We're so happy she loved it! Catriona loved writing the letter and would love to write to her again
Comment: Can you please thank your daughter for sending Cayden a wonderful package- His face totally lit up when he opened it, and it was great to hear about the kangaroos and ever so thoughtful of you to send a birthday card- thankyou for reading my profile- i can honestly say if i could awrad more harts i would- maybe we might meet in future swaps, once again thankyou for making my sons day xx
Response: We're both so happy he liked his parcel. I was worried he might have the book!! Even hubby got in on the act of choosing it lol. Did the T shirt fit?
Comment: Thanks much for the possum card, Marie! It's cute, except for it's fingers and toes--they're pretty creepy looking! You did great sending a different one-I do have pc's of both kangaroos and koalas!
My favorite Oz animal, however, is the duckbill platypus-when I was 11 or 12 in school I did a big report on them and got an A+ for my effort. Maybe some day I'll get a pc of one of those, too! take care, Carol in Denver
Response: Hi Carol - do you know - I've never seen one for a platypus. I've also never been lucky enough to see one in the wild either, although I've been close to where they live. Elusive little things they care lol. I'll keep an open for one for you (postcard, not platypus lol) Glad you liked the possum, they are really cute. There is a pic of our resident one on my blog
Comment: Thanks so much for choosing Australia related fabrics -- they are beautiful and I love both the flora ones and the ones remaniscent of aboriginal designs. How wonderful to move from 2 acres to 100, with all that wildlife about!
Response: I'm so glad you liked them!! We are now looking at moving to a much larger property - we'll have wombats for neighbours lol
Comment: OH MY GOSH. This is the second swap I have had as you as my partner. I thought the 1st was nice. Somehow you topped that one. I could of not wished for a nicer swap. Any one that gets you in a swap will never be disappointed. YOU ARE THE BEST again I wish I could you more than a 5 and more than a heart.
Comment: Thanks Marie. It looks great with my growing collection. The colours are just me too. Love the way you used material underneath, never of that of that. Thanks for the extra little present too.
Comment: Thank you for the post card. I enjoyed the fact that you wrote about where you live. I have never heard of a kookburra and had to look it up. What a beautiful bird! I would LOVE to see kangaroos and kookburras in my yard. Instead - I have a oppossom or two. :) Happy swapping.
Comment: Oh my GOSH! It was well worth the wait. Lets start with the stamps. What can I say. Post card was a nice added touch. But let's not stop, than we have the hand made key chain,"nicely done" Than I pulled out the hand dye floss. I don't think I will ever use it I like to just look at it. BEST of ALL was the biscornu. I am new to this biscornu world. I have swapped 2 now and both has been the highlight of my week. I hope that someday I can do quailty work like yours.
P.S. I wish I could give more than one heart think this one was a 4 heart swap
Response: I'm so glad you liked it - trust me, biscornus are addictive lol. The key chain is a fob for your scissors - I made it to tie in with the summer theme - another new addiction.
Response: I'm so glad they got there safe and sound! The backing is easy - I just use a very sharp needle and invisible thread. Instead of picking up a backstitch as you would normally do, I pick up a tiny bit of fabric. So much nicer than a cross stitched back sometimes, especially when you have just the right fabric!!
Comment: Thank you, Marie, for the lovely biscornu and the 2 flossies, the blue material and snowman marshmellows. Can u tell me what the blue material is used for? I have never seen one like it. It was a welcome package after my trip back from the Christmas holiday.
Response: Hi Susan
I didn't find it until after I had stitched your biscornu. I thought it would have been perfect, so I had to include a piece for you to use in the future if you liked. You could use it for backing anything, a nice winter ornament or fob, whatever you like. :-)
Comment: Thanks so mush for the BEAUTIFUL biscornu,Im so excited I was the one to receive it! Loved all the extras the fabbie, thread and buttons were awesome & right on time for Christmas. Happy Holidays :)
