Comment: Thank you for the card! I'm honestly only now seeing this. Apologies for the extreme delay in giving the rating. Kept all my mail from 7 years ago with the intention of rating but life got in the way in a really big way. I'm back on the site because I want to do right by folks now that I have time and space for it.😊 Anyway, thank you again for the great swap!
Comment: Megan ~ You got to go to Vegas. There is so much to besides gamble. I have been there many times living in Oregon they offer special deals from time to time. The casinos have traveling exhibits. We saw the Titanic and Body Worlds. There are tours to ride ATVs and sunset horse ride on the cliff then a cowboy BBQ around a campfire. There are museums and of course plenty of shopping :)
Response: its deff something I want to do one day!
Comment: Thanks for the Mickey and Minnie postcard. I haven't been to Disney all summer, but I am going next week and can't wait. I am most excited for the Food and Wine Festival at the end of the month!
Comment: Thanks for the cheetah card! (you had the card labeled as postcrossing obsessed swap). But it's here! Have you seen the series "Frankie and Grace" with Lily Tomling? (4 seasons) or "Fargo"--three seasons but I missed 2 episodes of the last season--I'm hanging in suspense until I get the time to watch.
Comment: Hello fellow Floridian, thank you for both of the wonderful postcards! I love them - especially the Elvis. I agree with you, people don't like giving us Disney cards because they just assume we have easy access to them but that's not usually the case for me at least. But I love them! Thank you again!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard! One of our rescues is a blue eyes long haired "blue" Siamese colored cat. We saved her from the neighbors dogs who had her pinned in a tree for 2 days. She's absolutely the sweetest of the four we have now!
Comment: I am so sorry for rating this so late. I have been taking a long break from swapbot because I was preparing for my wedding. It was over now and I am back on swap bot. Thank you for your swap. :)
Comment: Thank you for the great postcards! I love the kind that have recipes on them and we are having "red beans and rice" tonight!! Also the Barbie card you wrote your note on was very cute! Thanks :-)
Comment: Great postcard of NYC - I like it very much. Also, a great song to choose for the credits to roll on the story of the love of your life. Thanks. I have put this postcard in my blog at:
Comment: I LOVE the choices you picked for me they are all great and I will use them all!!! except for the "neck of terracotta solider" one that one is getting hung on my wall in my personal collection I love it!
Comment: Wow! What an envelope! A Greek air-mail envie and all sorts of fabulous decor you did, all over it - Amazing! Super thanks - and - super thanks for the most Fabulous assortment of postcards - Great stuff - Thanks again - Happy day to you. Oh - lucky you - living so close to DisneyWorld - I'd be hanging there everyday!
Response: I'm always at disney! At least 5 times a month!!
Comment: Hi! The post office did there best to mess up the writing on your pc, but I can just make out that you took a cruise to the Bahamas for your B-day! Awesome! Hope you had a wonderful time, Happy Belated Birthday to you! Love the pc and hearing from you! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hi Megan! Thanks for the cute card! Is it really only .33c to send a postcard from US to Canada?! That's the only stamp on your card. If so, I'm very jealous! It's $0.63 national, $1.05 to send to US and $1.85 international here!
Response: I've never had a problem with just the one stamp! I always get bored of the same stamp but then remind myself, that if the design changes so does the price!
Comment: Hello Megan, I sent you a message just about an hour ago. But now tha poostman came and brought me your nice postcard for this swap. I like it. I was in Paris about 10 times since 1972. In New York only once.
Thank you for the postcard.
Comment: I don't remember if I stayed at this hotel many years ago, but I had fun and we played golf on one of the courses. There we met and talked to Jimmy Dean who was playing in the group ahead of us. Thanks for a trip down memory lane.
Comment: Nothing received and no reply to my message.
17 April - PC received, thank you. Postmarked 20 March, swap send by date 4 March.
19 April - 2nd PC received (I guess to replace the first card you thought had gone missing ... ?) I would have been fine to wait for the late card had you replied to my message. Having sais that - thank you, I love both cards.
Comment: Hi! I absolutely LOVED the post card you sent me! It was 100% accurate - lots of snow to shovel where I am, and my boyfriend is heading to Florida for spring break! Totally unfair! :) Have a great day!
Comment: Love the PC - I've always wanted to see the rockies from Canada - this shows just how beautiful it is. Sorry a bit late in rating just catching up after a very stressful and extra long workweek. Take care, Anntte
Comment: Megan...Thanks for the Nascar PC...and sending warm thoughts from sunny 70's FL...we are still in the midst of cold, windy winter here in PA...but my spring perrennials are starting to poke up from the ground so I know spring is coming:)...Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the nice postcard. I know that when you dont want to part with a card. It is always a deep sigh when I send one I really like. But the bigger the joy is with the one who gets it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful Universal Studios postcard. My son also loved it because it had all the great characters on it. We do have a couple of amusement parks near us. One is a big one called Kings Island that we get passes to every year. The other is much smaller and it is called Coney Island. Take care and happy swapping!
Comment: Love the FL map postcard that you sent (and the FL sunshine that it contained)! I think we need a FL vacation and SOON... it was 19 degrees all day today...brrr! I'm ready for spring and Phil the groundhog NOT seeing his shadow this am means I might get to see it sooner, rather than later! WHOO! HOO! Thanks again for all the WARMTH.
Comment: It got here! Ignore PM, the card arrived safely. Tough I still would like to know if it took detour, maybe stopped in Greenland for some rafting ;-) This PC makes me wish summer was here already. Thanks, Glory
Comment: Great postcard (it's got my favorite character on it; how could I not love it?). I spent three days at the WWoHP during Infinitus. Must be fun living near enough to such a magical place as to be able to visit more often! Thank you for the postcard!
Comment: Love the postcard that you sent of Daytona Beach. We have been there a couple of times and LOVED it... first beach where we ever got to drive on the beach... our sons really got a kick out of that! Thanks for the great memories.
Comment: Well, it's official. The '60's were the best time to be alive! All of my swap partners and I agree. Thank you so much for the great Kennedy Space Center card. It is one of my all time favorites! Cute sticker, too!
Comment: Thanks for the interesting postcard of Florida's flowers. I got some of those plants on my apartment, but of course there's no way that those would grow out in cold Finland. Lucky you! :D Have a nice day!
Comment: Thanks for the PC! It's been pretty hot and sunny here in NJ, too, but tonight is supposed to start an all week storm. I love storms and we barely ever get good ones. It hits the ocean air and breaks up. booo! lol.
Comment: Hello Megan - Thanks for the great postcard of the New Jersey shore. I have been to your state several times, but I have never seen this lighthouse, so now, because of your postcard, I have *almost* been there. :) Best wishes, Debbie Christian
Comment: So you lived in Piscataway, huh? It must have been a a surprise when you saw where your PC was being sent. In case you don't know where Normandy Dr is, I live just off of Possumtown Rd. I pass Gabrielle's almost every day. So, what made you move to FL?
Response: i was actually pretty happy to send it to my home place! I miss nj, and i find it hard to go back w my crazy scheduals! I moved to fl bc i lived w my grams growing up, and when she retired i lived in nj for 1 yr alone, and it was very expensive, so idecided to move her not only for free rent but to be close to her! lol when i was not here i think i called her twie a day everyday!.......i think i put my return address, feel free to do private swaps!!
Comment: Mikey and Donald's pick up lines were always syrupy sweet, but you had to love them anyway. I've never heard a guy who was serious use one of those stupid lines. A Doctor asked me this week if I was my daughter's sister. Wasn't trying to pick me up and he wasn't truthfully thinking I looked that young, but it sure was a nice thought
Comment: Cute leopard stickers on back. :) What's funny, is that I've gotten this exact card 3 times this week! haha And, when we traveled through NE, I bought some to send out as well! haha Maybe it's a case of "Great Minds think alike"!
Comment: Thank you for the nice ocean view. I like the endless view of water. My lake is only about a 1/2 mile across and 5 miles long. A very different view, but I always love the water and enjoy the ocean. Cheers
Comment: The Finding Nemo movie came out right before my youngest grandson was born. His older brother who was 4 at the time wanted to name him Nemo. He wasn't a very happy camper when his mother said no. Thanks! :)
Comment: Thank you for the fishie pc. The quote was just up my alley. Sometimes it's just good to know someone is thinking about you. Always makes me feel flattered when I hear that. Have a wonderful week. :)
Comment: The flamingo postcard was a huge hit with my oldest grandson! He wanted to put it up in his room.
I saw a show on TV about the African rift and there was a story of a huge number of flamingos just dying off with no explanation. They are mysterious birds for sure!
Comment: Yay! I feel like a sleuth (I love reading murder mysteries). You didn't put the swap name on the card. I've been getting lots and lots of Walltype postcards recently and I'm in a zillion or so swaps on swapbot, so I feel "smaht." Thanks for the card, Megan!
